Sorry guys, have been away for some time. Offlined until I can verify it's status.
Didn't find it.
had a really hard time with this one.
like "Q4. S27 33.780 E151 57.63"
is that meant to be .63, because that was trying to take me out of the park. but persisted anyways.
but the trees question, it was impossible, my wife and I were looking everywhere for an answer plaque.
gave up after a while due to mosquitoes (everywhere in Toowoomba this weekend.)
few other co-ords were giving me grief too, but clear sky, and no other cache was an issue, so i don't know what to say.
if someone could email me, and give me some hints or help for next time we are in town that would be great.
no luck this time.

looking at other logs this cache has been an issue for months now,
that with a bunch of incorrect co-ords and ambigous clues,
i think someone should look at some maintenance on this one.

sadly we went the way of the two previous logs. Got the clues found a very likley looking spot but didn't come up with the goods. The light was fading so will go back for another go soon. And yes one of the co-ords does seem to take you to the wrong place but is that a trick for the un suspecting???
Did this with the geokids today, now unless I got the answers completely wrong. There was nothing to be found around the area discribed, apart from empty cans and bottles. Now from reading the other logs I am sure I had the right place. It may take someone that has been there to check up on it to make sure we're not blind. And I think the co-ord's for M3 are out, through from reading the question and walk the ground it was hard to find the answer.
Thanks for the history lesson, being in defence I like these types of places.

Attempted this cache with geomum, and after sorting thru all the clues located the item identified in the clue. Unfortunately after a good 15 minutes of searching we couldnt come up with the goods. Located an impressive stash of alcohol close to GZ [:O)], and believe that the owners may have discovered and muggled the cache . After reading the notes we returned and searched area again, but still no joy .
Thanks for the educational tour of the park anyway.

Found at 1620hrs. Got the clues sorted without too much trouble - although I am a bit sus of one of the co-ordinates. However the find was interesting. Got the location ok and with a little encouragement from lochb I remained dedicated to the task at hand - finding the cache. I removed the majority of alcohol bottles - the new ones at least. I thought it may have been muggled with so much party evidence around - however all is good. Just did a bit of cleaning up to set the picture right for the next discoverer. TFTC.

Found by flashlight with Skottikus. Some of the clues caused us to guess but we powered through it. TNLNSL TFTH
Looked for the answers to the clues yesterday afternoon. Worked out the coords last night although we were unsure of one answer but pretty sure of what it would be. Went to have a look this morning and our coords led us straight to where the hint said we should be but we could not locate the cache!
Looked for it with flapperjohn on our weekend in Toowoomba... No luck but we must have been close..
Some of the questions to answered were again, fairly ambiguous however we came up with several likely candidates and were able to narrow it down significantly. Vietnam plaque was well away from posted coords but we spotted it fairly quickly. Either way, Search4 and I had to return several times to GZ to eventually come up with the find. TFTC!
Found this one after a couple of quick walks around the park late in the day on previous days collecting clues... we were in Toowoomba visiting an elderly relative, so the only time we had to search was just on dusk. Found it by torchlight about 6pm. However, the top was stuck fast, so we took it back to our accomodation to get it off. Then we discovered the interior was quite damp, so dried it out overnight and returned it early the next day.
The Geocaching information sheet was quite damp and mouldy and may need replacing.
Found late this afternoon. Still unsure of the answer to one of the clues. Log a bit damp so spent a few minutes airing it out. TNLN SL TFTC
Took a while to gain all the answers, however the cache was quick to find.
Thanks for the chance to come back here and revisit this memorial.

DNF on first attempt this year, but did it all from scratch again, and still led me to the same spot except I found it this time! Surprising what a bit more experience does for you! TNLN TFTC

Found with geo-uncle lat&long junkie on our day caching in Toowoomba with lochb and Liz & Bruce. Interesting walk around gathering all the clues. TFTC
Nice of you to put these caches so close together. While tackling "Queen's Crown", we hopped the road and completed this one as well. Nicely put together multi/puzzle. We almost stumbled at Q4, but experiences across the road had us ready for the challenge . Found the cache in good order, signed the log and grabbed the 2007 NZ Fern coin before 'lochb' could work out how to make it fit in the cache .
Good to be doing some caching with lat&long junkie, Bedmaker and lochb. Collected the necessary data, some a bit tricky in the way it was worded. Beautifully presented memorial garden. Final cache found after a short search. TNLN. Thanks geographobiacs
Dropped off a geocoin and a TB. The coin was picked up immediately by Bedmaker and L&L Junkie.
Got totally messed up with accuracy of coordinates, they didn't seem to match. Must have been the nut driving the GPS. Will try again later with more time to go carefully. Are there any more clues re the trees from other places, found them but had no idea of the accuracy of question down to last digit.
We found this in the morning. Second one for the day. Took a bit to locate. Took sunglasses a lure, left turtle and highlighter.
Great quiz and very informative. Got the coords O.K. and then checked them with the clue and it took us to a very likely spot. Spent 20 minutes and could not locate the cache?? Is it possible it has gone walkabout?
Up for an appointment with a justice in a nearby building I just had to come down to look for this cache. After a some confusion looking for "Vietnam" I just settled for Mother said instead to take me to the cache.
Cold and windy at GZ this afternoon. TFTC

my first ever cache find , and as the cacheing virgin was sent in thanks rastas000.tftc sl
As a born and bred Toowoomba lad, I remember how I was dead against the moving of the Mothers Memorial to this spot from its original home. In hindsight, it really has turned out to be a most suitable move and the area is very special.
I try to make the trip back here for ANZAC Day every 2 years to keep in touch as it is one of the most moving Dawn Services I have been to. The numbers just keep getting bigger!
TFTC. I did not even know that the Nasho's memorial was there.
Found with lochb and Steve and Family and some new cachers.
Find 13 of 17 today.

A great little multi in the company of Rastas, Lochb and a couple of new cachers (yet to choose a name!)
Special area - well worth the walk around.
No swaps today. Thanks for the cache!

Had attempted this one a couple of weeks ago just after a thunderstorm - but had to give up then.
I had difficulty opening the container, and judging by the marks on the container others must have too.

Found with difficulty as mis-alligned printer had cut off clue 5 without me realising. Decrypted extra clue and was an easy find after a quick look about. Took happy Bhudda for a trip to Brisbane. TFTC!
Managed to pluck up enough courage to hunt for the cache, found without tooooo much hassle - see The Marble's comment. TFTC! ='.'=
Dropped off Bountiful Buddah as I sat and appreciated what would normally have been a most peaceful spot but I didn't realise Toowoomba was holding a Gospel Concert today. Still, I guess he got the peaceful message loud and clear!
Did this one in the company of the Pirate63 nice and early in the morning, what a beautiful park and a great history lesson very interesting Thank you for making us take all this information in [^]Great Hide TNLNSL
aaaargh!,found in ye' company of ye' spud's,great multi in a great park,felt n'fresh this mornin' too!thanks GEO'IACS
Bit of a hot day for wandering around chasing clues! I looked and looked for the cache before giving up and decrypting the hint. Hmmm, already looked there. Checked again and sure enough there it was. Don't know how I missed it the first time.

Well well well what a blast! This was my first multi cache and i made a couple of small errors which i eventually figured out and found the cache! Well done. Took eightball keyring and bouncy ball. Left Glasses and stickers. Left geo-coin.
We walked from 'Info Mania' along to this one which was gorgeous. Had fun collecting all the info but the co-ords for Waypoint 2 took us to the wrong place. Found the answer at S27.33.725 E151.57.599.
Took us about 10 minutes looking at GZ before giving in and decrypting the hint. Found! Good one ta. Took compass keyring, left yo yo.

13:11hrs Fantastic tribute. Enjoyed this cache. Q2 I got the answer from elsewhere the co-ords took us to the wrong plaque. However the other one is only a short walk away. Retrieved the cache and left a Geo Coin that is Military Related and fresh from OS. TFTC.
Ahhh a memorable cache
I won't be forgetting this one in a hurry. As promised, some tricky little questions. I found most of the answers without too much trouble
Thanks for a really interesting cache with lots of memorable history attached and a sneaky little cache hide at the end
Who was that masked cacher following me around ?

We didn't have time to participate in the organised events of the Spring Picnic so we slipped away to find this cache and enjoy a stroll through beautiful Queens Park on the way.
We made our way from WP to WP and gradually put it all together despite some tricky questions.
Finally, we gathered the required info and retired to do our sums. With that done, we packed up our picnic goodies and said our goodbyes before returning to log our find.
Thanks to the geographobiacs for an enjoyable and educational afternoon.

We were scratching our heads a little at a couple of the waypoints, but we worked it out without too much trouble.
This really is a nice park here and this cache does give you a good tour of the area, showing you a lot of the plaques. In fact we noticed on our weekend in Toowoomba that the town is filled with various war memorials, plaques, etc - I guess a town like this lost a lot of good people in conflicts over the years.
A little scratching was required at GZ to find the cache, but after 5 minutes the cache was ours. We sat right by GZ in the shade and signed the logbook. TFTC.

We had fun in the Garden city exploring the Memorial and appreciating the significance of the park. Many thanks for the cache!

The Geokids enjoy these type of caches. They run around with paper in hand trying to solve the clues. Thanks geographobiacs for all your effort in setting up these caches. We are surprised at the small number of caches in Toowoomba compared to the size of the place.

First for the weekend and first to find this cache. Bit windy today but still a great day for geocaching.
Lovely walk thru this park and interesting history at some of the clues. I particularly liked Q4!
Was going to leave a TB but no room in cache - will place across the road tomorrow instead.

Thanks for a great cache - well done.
