No luck. Searched at usuall spots for 'attraction, but nothing. Hope its still around
Had a few goes. Wife found magnet but nothing else. So we placed a temporary cache and log inside so owner can fix when ready. Dont think it will last long, maybe someone else can fix?
Yup, downloaded a pocket query before it was found missing, oh well, tried anyway.
The non-cachers in the car wandered off to check out the the canal, while Mapper Ted and Mac Ross explored the possible cache hiding places and logged the find.
An Anzac Day find. Yet again pouring with rain on our trip past the mountains but a sudden break and we stopped to find the cache at last. Been on our to do lists since we started geocaching. Good to be able to cross it off. Cache could do with a new log as its full of slips of paper at the moment.

I arrived in New Zealand for the first time yesterday. For a crazy 3 days of caching.
A friend, stairman, and I found a few yesterday on our way south as we had a particular cache in mind for this week-end.
Goal achieved (Santa's Surprise) and now to find quite a few more to find.
Got this one after coming off the mountain.
Love the countryside.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find thanks on our way through to Turangi. Needs a little TLC. Lost its magnet and plastic bag a little worse for wear. It seems not be latching correctly either. At the moment it seems happy tucked away out of the weather, but when the weather turns nasty it may be a different story. TFTC
Found it together with Team Autoværn on our New Zealand tour back in 2013.

Found during the seventh day of vacation in North Island, in the Tongariro National Park and around.
We hiked part of the Tongariro Crossing.
It was not the best of day’s weather wise and clouds and frog were whistling across the top of Tongariro.
But it was a great adventure today!

found in the rain, had looked for this last year on a fishing trip, the fishing was much more successful than my search then.

NZ Skyliner got veyr wet waiting for the muggles' cars to go past so he could re-hide the cache - haha! TFTC!
Well it was raining, but the DIMwits and I couldn't resist a quick cache! All was fine until I leapt out of the car into the rain to replace the cache, whereupon cars suddenly appeared from nowhere, so I had to stand there in the pouring rain until they'd gone past before I could replace it...but all good in the end! TFTC!
A quick very early morning find on the way to Rotorua. Have you noticed how quiet the water in the canals are.TFTC
