No luck today. Looks like lots of plants have been removed, hopefully not the one referred to in the hint. Not having much luck with micros and vegetation this trip!!! Oh well, hopefully next time.
I had left my boat down at Edithburg at a friends and decided that I could have a geocaching trip and go and bring it home.
This was one of the many I found and signed on the way.

TFTC.14.35. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
Couldn't resist stopping on on the way back to Adelaide. I was just visiting too. I feel the container has been changed and thank whoever replaced the lost container as it looks like ground works has been in progress.

Found by Donnazev while I was looking at the nearby pretties.
Do have to say, this is NOT a regular container. I would argue it's technically a microl (or a small at best).

Very dark when I arrived at this one and my good torch was at home. Found the remnants of a container but it didn't match the description.
Looks like the aliens swapped the sistema for an eclipse. Interesting find, Tftcsl 5/06/2014 1:05 pm Find #638
After a couple of days testing leg muscles on the nearby Heysen Trail, it was nice to just wander around and find some caches!
This was in the middle of night on the way home.
Some interesting roadside stops.
Could have been the dark, or the wet, but I couldn't even spot where they'd be bushed!

WanderingAus wandered by on the way to Murray Bridge, and TomTom alerted me to the presence of this cache. I pulled over, and made a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find.
TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC and my WanderingAus GeoMobile TB, plus a couple of other travellers, in for a visit before grabbing them back again.
The log is quite damp and needs some tlc.

It was time to get out and about to hit some more powertrails of SA. We had decided to make today's target the PSA series and see where we went from there. Well we ended up doing the PSA and the APM series as well as a heap of random caches along the way.
specimenX was in fine form today, juiced up on her coffee and brekkie, off we went. We had no issues with farmers on the PSA today however we did unfortunately come across 4 DNF's on the series. We also came across a couple of caches which were crumbling due to the exposure to the weather. I will place 'Needs Maintenance' logs on those caches for the CO
Had a great time out and about in SA today and looking forward to what tomorrow brings. Would like to thank OzFiresafe for the PSA series and firesafe for the APM series. Also all the other CO's who have caches out that we have been hitting over the next week and a bit
Bring on the Oz Mega
PSA Series completed, now it was time to make some random collections on our way towards the APM series
specimenX loved the mouse structure here and had a good giggle at the UFO and cockroach [:p]

Off we go for another fun filled day of caching! After a late start, Rapidlywild and I managed to power through two power trails plus a whole heap of random caches for a total of 90 finds!-not a bad day's effort I reckon!
The APM power trail was the second of the two for us. I was the runner (energizer bunny more like!) and RW was the driver-although she did join in on a few of the searches when I needed a second set of eyes! .
We swung by this one on the way to the PT to make the nice, easy find [^] I love the "sculptures" around the area! lol Took a few pics of them before moving on with the fun
Thanks heaps for the cache and the laughs, abowie

And we were just visiting. We pulled up quickly with caravan in tow to make the find, fortunately the roadway near GZ is just wide enough on the edge to get away from the white line. Ian made the find and while I took a few photos he signed the log and carefully replaced the cache.

Was expecting to see a larger container given the description indicates this but it was a great find none the less
Found It!
I've driven past this one hundreds of times but never had time (or didn't remember) to stop for it - until today!
I was a little worried when I arrived to see that the council mower had been through here recently but luckily the cache had survived...

Out for a caching day with Shaido. As we came up to this one the cache name became apparent and we just had to have a look.
I must say the camo is effective, to the point that you *dont* want to do a CITO in the area much as you would want too. Replaced the cache pretty much as I found it.

Heading over to South Oz with steeba, Farmer Frentzen and Big Matt, it was great to have the gangsters back together for another SA invasion, last time we were here was 2009.
We found this cache as part of the many series/trails and singualr caches we found over our 4-day spree. Our trip has created many milestones, none better than our own new one-day record and a new monthly tally.
On our way back to Adelaide we had time for a few more finds. This one took some time, we were looking for a regular.
I apologise for the duplicate log, by no means does it detract from the enjoyment of finding this cache. Thanks to contributing to the gangsters invasion.

Our 8044th overall find.
Found with "The Gangsters", steeba, The Rats and FarmerFrentzen on the final day of our SA 2013 trip. Today we travelled from Kapunda to Adelaide focusing on the Five Oh, It's a Small World and PSA series and then back to the airport to head home. This is find number 157 of 171 for the day. This one took a while to locate as we were looking for a regular but came up with the eclipse tin eventually.
Thanks abowie for the cache.

Found during another invasion of South Australia with The Rats, Steeba, Big Matt and Shell (collectively known as The Gangsters).
It was 2009 when we were last together as a group in South Australia to set a 24 hour record but with the advent of power trails the game has certainly changed! This time, we weren't here to break any records but to enjoy picking up some good numbers over the variety of the trails that seem to be popping up everywhere in South Australia.
This was one of the last finds made on a very frantic run back to the airport to catch our plane.
Thanks abowie for the cache.

Ditto to last find. A patch of broken plastic and an old found it sticker was all the evidence we saw.
well we think we found it, a completely collapsed container with a piece of paper with the geocaching logo on it next to a fence post in the grass ,could not find a log book will be happy to remove from found list if this was not the cache
This was the start of our caching day out to the PSA trail. We attempted our first PT and we enjoyed it as we got to collect a few other caches on the way out to this little gem. We will be back as we didnt complete the coast
We hit Pt Wakefield at 9am, and come out on the other side at 1pm with 34 caches in total

Found as part of the record run to SA by The Demolition Crew (TDC). While, I am not a member of the TDC, I was fortunate enough to be caching with Blacklegend, Quasar3671, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts on what was for me, a huge adventure.
As I live with Blacklegend, it was fantastic when he said "Do you want to come to South Australia on a huge caching trip". I jumped at the chance, as I'd never been to S.A. or Adelaide, and it was a fantastic feeling to know I was going to be part of something big, and I was.
To be part of the Australian 24 hour record, at such an early stage in my caching career, so to speak, and part of so many other finds, was experience building beyond anything I could have hoped for.
****************
After the huge day we had Tuesday, some might think that we would rest up on Wednesday. However, there was no rest, and we were at it again, early. We targeted and completed the APM, PSA, 50, 60 and 40 series. There were other caches we found as well during another big day. In the end, I was glad to be able to see Adelaide and find a few caches there as well. Being the junior member on the team, it was fantastic to see how the others planned this, and the final result, being over 1000 caches in 48 hours.
****************
Due to the extremely high number of finds for the trip, and on Blacklegend's advice and with his assistance, I have also gone with the generic logs. As the others have stated, it in no way takes away from the fantastic and enjoyable hides we found on the trip. As Blacklegend and the other have said, my sincere thanks to all cache owners who placed and maintain their caches, and made this trip possible for our group. TFTC, memories and the experience.

This cache was found during The Demolition Crew with Ponty95 24 hour and 1000 caches in 48 hours record breaking challenge caching run in South Australia.
I've been on quite a few caching road trips during my time as a cacher and this one was one of the best. The idea was to see how many caches we could find in 24 hours, with the goals being to break the Australian 24 hour caching record, and then continue on the next day to see if we could eventually find a total of 1000 caches or more in the 48 hours. Needless to say we did manage to fulfill both goals.
Not only does SA have some lovely contryside and Adelaide itself is famous for its churches, SA is also known for its numerous, extensive and well laid out cache 'powertrails'. The OZ Mega, OZ Signal and the Wandering Heros series of caches in particular are the largest and just a few of the many that can be tackled. With this is mind, TDC started planning the 24 hour challenge caching run back in late 2012, and over a period of many, many months we laid out careful plans on how we were going to break the Australian 24 hour caching record, as well as find as many caches as possible while on the road.
The intricate attention to detail proved to be esssential to us completing our goals. With routes planned, essential supplies loaded (especially museli bars, water and energy drinks) and every cache detail documented, we headed off on the 6th to begin our journey. By the end we had accomplished what we had set out to do, smashing the 24 hour record and finding over 1000 caches in the 48 hours. We had an absolute ball and needless to say were knackered by the end but the final result was worth every hours lack of sleep.
Apart from finding many 'stand alone' caches we did manage to complete the OZ Mega, Oz Signal, Wandering Heros, TDF, APM and PSA series, the 40, 50 and 60 series of caches as well as a number of Adelaide puzzle caches and a few Melbourne - Adelaide multi caches.
Due to the number of cache finds and the resulting number of logs to write, I am reluctantly using a generic log to log each cache. The same goes for my fellow TDC cachers and Ponty95, full appreciation goes out to each of the CO's who placed caches that we found, and without your caches our fantastic caching experience would not have come to fruition.
Thanks, Quasar3671.

Found as part of the Demolition Crew record run to South Australia with fellow TDC members Quasar3671, Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and a guest on the trip, Poynts95.
The trip was a fair while in the making, and many aspects had to align to make it happen, including all of us getting the time to go. However, the "stars aligned" so to speak for us, and the trip was on. A date was set and much planning engaged, and when I say much, I mean a very large amount. We had an old saying where I used to work, and that was "Failing to be prepared, is being prepared to fail", so, we prepared, and prepared and prepared.
With a challenge set, being, could The Demolition Crew find over 500 caches in 24 hours, we headed forth to South Australia, the magical land of power trails, and over the duration of the trip, found in excess of 1250 caches, and indeed, easily beat the goal on our record day. Importantly too, we had a great time together.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While you might think after the huge day on Tuesday, that Wednesday we might rest up, but oh no, again we headed out early after getting some sleep under the belts. We completed the APM, PSA, 50, 60, 40 series and a stack of other caches here and there. The other caches included two 5/5's and some completed there P81 challenge on a very nice conclusion to a 5/4.5 cache. Another great day, and we did get 1000 in 48 hours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the extremely high number of finds for the trip, I am opting for a generic log, which I never normally do, but as the others have stated, it in no way detracts from the high quality of hides we found on the trip. My sincere thanks to all cache owners who placed and maintain their caches, and made this trip possible for our group. You have all been part of the best caching road trip we have yet made. TFTC and the memories.

When the Wandering Series was first published it had been on the agenda of The Demolition Crew, however we were not able to arrange a time when all of us could go over. Fortuitously as time went by, more trails were published. Upon looking more closely at South Australia recently, there were many more power trails than we realised, and a plan was hatched to go over and grab as many caches as we could. We were all finally able to arrange a mutual time during the Easter school holidays, so the planning stages began.
Given the limited amount of time available to us, and so many caches to grab, we realised that a huge effort was going to be needed to grab them all. Rebel Acts being known for his record breaking 24 hour runs suggested that we try a 24 hour run of our own. Now there was a thought, a challenge in fact we readily accepted. A bit more planning (a lot more actually) and a route was chosen and run sheets drawn up.
With all the puzzles solved, and most of the multi's these caches were reduced to traditionals for the run day. With cars packed, stamps made, and spirits high we made our way to South Australia to find some plastic.
Wednesday might have been a day of rest, but when you plan to get 1,000 caches in two day, there is little rest. Today the 50, 60, 40, PSA and APM series were collected before starting to head back to Victoria. The highlight of the day was collecting two 5/5 caches in one day, and completing the P81 challenge by collecting a 5/4.5 cache.
While I am using a generic log, it does not detract my appreciation of all the CO's who have put the time into placing and maintaining these caches. To each and every one of you, I thank you for being part of what has been the best cache road trip yet. Thank you!

The cache was found as part of A massive cache run to South Australia with TDC Members Trailrunning, Quasar3671 and Blacklegend and a ring in Ponty95. It had taken us time to get this all together, finally a date was set and planning was started, I learnt one thing from my late mate dak's Emu Mob AKA Dave Kruger "Proper Planning prevents piss Poor Performance" he always said. Trailrunning was our master planner on this trip. I did this as part of a team but I also did it as a tribute to dak. having set the Australian Record twice before the question was, does the Rebel still have what it takes, I think the answer for that was yes. The challenge had been set down on FB "could the TDC find over 500 in a day, well we took up the challenge and headed to the power trail capital of Australia.

Found something cache-like but looked muggled. Have contacted CO for conformation on find. Will update when known.
Looks like I was lucky to find the remains of the cache, and restore it to its origin state.

This one's supposed to be easy and not so small, but I couldn't find it even with previous finders with me. The fence is lying down (may have been that way a while) and no container in sight. Found a toy grasshopper, perhaps it was making fun of me...
I was on the way north this morning for some power trail action and stopped at this one on the way up. I remember the first time I saw these 'sculptures' was 12 years ago when I took my first car across the Nullarbor. I always thought it ironic that they would use these eyesores in an attempt to protest against a landfill. I wonder how long they'll stay there. They're looking a little worse for wear these days. Took Steve, left a calling card. TFTC
Very interesting sculpture, found the cache quickly and captured the nearby munzee

Goedaughter cautiously found this one, found the container with No lid and broken. We have repalced the container with what we had on hand, a 1 litre sistema type container, painted Camo colours. TFTC
