Hi Thyla and Thylo, thanks for the heads up - a bit disappointing we like the park - we will find a new spot in it soon.
cheers solomonfamily
Solomonfamily, visited MY CBD a few times today trying to decide its future from the destroyed message. We searched around a bit looking for a new sport - found the log book, but in the end we decided to give this one a rest for a while.
Well I surpose you could call this one a find. The cache was not in its hiding spot. Unfortunately it has not only been muggled, but we are sorry to say, it has been destroyed. We found bits of the cache container all over the place. We rescued off the ground a bit of coral, and one very stressed camel. Camel is goind to say with us for some TLC. Beautiful park, but the spot must of been found by some curious kids maybe.
Sorry about the cache. Hope you will replace it.
thyla and thylo.

Find #89 of 101 finds for the day in the company of Dak’s Emu Mob.
A quick night time walk in the park - clever cache theme too.
Thanks to solomanfamily for the cache.

Found at 1:25pm during a lunchtime caching expedition not far from work. The street-namers around here sure lacked some imagination - but it is a nice little park. A few people at the playground, but not interested in me so the find was made and logged uninterrupted.

Found at 1:50AM. Nice Park. You would have to be careful in daylight hours not to give away the location! Took: Crayons. Left: Duck.

A neat little cache in a neat little park.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks to the solomonfamily for this quick and easy find.

Thanks Solomnfamily.
Thanks Solomnfamily.
Lovely park , had to wait for some children to move before geting the cache. Thanks solomnfamily for the cache.
After a quick trip through the City we arrived at a great unknown location of the CBD. The streets were correct but had we slipped through the portal of time and arrived at an alterative of central Melbourne. desperate to return to the CBD we have grown up with we searched for the container holding the key and clues. Our postioning systems had gone beserk and with extreme power shutoff iminent we were desperate. Then from out of the Blue a fellow time traveller approached and asked if we were looking for something. this turned out to be ssmc4 from the Central Eastern quadrant of the true earth and after a quick chat he said good luck and vanished into todays true CBD.
After we gathered the set of current coordiates and noted our name in the book of travels we transversed through the entrance and in no time we arrived at the true CBD in search of another adventure.
Many thanks to the Solomonfamily for the cache it was a fun stop, and nice to meet with ssmc4.

We swung by here this afternoon after completing the excellent "Heide Hidey" cache nearby. Mrs ssmc4 remained in the car reading the paper, the girls had a play in the playground and Jeffrey the dog had a run around whilst I retreived the cache.
T: seed pack, super ball
L: glue stick, Blu-Tack
I'd removed the cache to a nearby table to undertake the swaps & logging but when I went to replace it I noticed a family had arrived and were kicking the footy near the GZ. I took a circuitous route under the pretext of giving Jeffrey a walk around the park but then I noticed that the newly-arrived family seemed to be edging closer and closer to the GZ, with the Dad occasionally throwing glances over his shoulder. My caching senses were tingling by this stage so I went over and made an enquiry about geocaching, and was pleased to be able to meet Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan . It's always nice to be able to meet another caching family, especially one of some reknown .
Thanks to the solomonfamily for the cache and higlighting the "metropolis" of Bulleen.

Found at 3:33pm. Accompanied by the GeoMrs as navigator and scribe. 5th find for our usual weekly expedition. A nice and easy find. There were a couple of muggles watching the park from a nearby car, but the trees provided sufficient covet to retrieve the cache without being seen.
In: bouncy ball, Out: nothing, Signed log. Thanx solomonfamily...

I used to skatebaord and ride my bmx in the bowl down at this park when i was a kid. I forgot to look and see if the bowl was still even there, it is probably too dangerous these days ! At least they cant take caching off us !! It was a nice easy find in my local neighbourhood. TNLN,TFTC,Jack0.
Dear Solomon Family,
We found your cache today at 5:50pm as the final of six on our "Springs a Comin', Let's go Cachin'" afternoon. We gave up a little earlier due to a man teaching his son to fly a kite right next to GZ. They probably would have had a little more success if there were no trees and more importantly 'wind'. Not a breath out here today. We returned after comleting a couple of close by caches and another man was playing cricket with his son. We all went to the playground for a while and shortly afterwards they packed up and went home. Only one muggle left now. A young boy sitting on a springy toy but he was too engrossed in Bart's lastest antics to bother about us. Thanks for the cache.
Kindest Regards,

17:00 Made a quick maintenance visit with our friends Margaret and Jeff - all ok. Replaced the large public transport map with a band aid to create some space.
Great street names! I read the cache description, and thought "What are they talking about???". I checked the maps and could easily see.
Late at night it was an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

I'm not that comfortable as a SM near a playground either but it was far enough away and I feigned a botanical interest (poor plants!) and soon found the good hide. It's on the right side to be able to access relatively unseen too so taking a reasonable amount of time (but not too long) I achieved the desired results while strolling around. Thanks solomonfamily for the cache and the little challenge.
Didn't have the trouble the last finder had in that we were on site about 9.00 pm so all we had to worry about was the level of suspicion aroused by us flashing our torches around. No great trouble however and the jobs done.
NO swaps but thanks for another stat.

With the day's work virtually done, it was nearly time to knock off and head for home. I drove through the CBD and arrived at the meeting place only to find that there a few people around, probably waiting for the next tram or train. With some stealth, and acting like a particular type of surgeon, I had the cache in hand at 14:10.
After replacing the goods, I waited around for about 10 minutes, watching GZ from a distance, to make sure that my activities were of no interest to any of the waiting masses. It appears that they weren't .
TNLNSL. Many thanks solomonfamily.

On arrival at GZ I thought great a park and a pre school, the places a lone male does not want to be hanging around, but I was in luck no pre school today and no kids on the playground. The cache was a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
As I currently don't own a GPS, I guess this was either easy or the clues were very good. I suspect the later, with a bit of luck thrown in (I must be starting to be able to spot potential hiding spots). The park was populated by several people, but if you are careful you can access the cache without being too obvious. More important to watch out for onlookers from nearby house windows!
As this place forms part of my childhood memories and this was the first find that my kids and wife participated in, I especially appreciated it.
Took Superman magnet and green matchbox car. Placed brown matchbox car and local bike path map.
Thanks solomanfamily. I hope you place some more nearby as I won't be able to until I get my first GPS....odnaszad

While driving from work to the cache, I turned on the GPS I take with me to work. It was having great difficulty locking on to the satellites and when I checked to see if this cache was loaded in, I couldn't find it.
I ended up re-initialising it and calling DAK when I parked the car to collect the co-ords. Once the GPS worked out where it was, it turned out that it was already loaded. I walked straight up to the cache and grabbed it, and then continued on a bit of a walk around so as not to arouse suspicion in any of the odd muggle around. I didn't make any exchange.
I wondered about the name of the cache until I planned my visit today - then it all made complete sense. Thanks for the cache, and showing me a much more navigable version ot the city.

Fastest trip up Swanston St I've ever had . There was noone about in the CBD today, and the cache was a nice, easy find with spot-on coords.

Thanks Solomonfamily - it was a cute little park.

Last of three caches on a typical Melbourne winter afternoon. I approached from the north along Swanston St, so I missed out on seeing the other CBD streets. Anyhow, I parked at the nearby car park, noted the playgrounds, and groaned inwardly. However, the cache is not placed there. [^] I made my way to GZ and felt very exposed with the neighouring houses overlooking the site. It adds to the challenge. I managed to snaffle the cache, unobserved, at 1400. As I was filling in the log two car loads of skateboard riders turned up and headed to the other side of the park. I had to wait until they were (virtually) out of sight before I could return the cache. Thanks to the solomanfamily for the cache.

FTF by Pickupfamily Dad at 12:10am. Just going to bed when this one popped up, and seeing the name, I thought it'd be one to try and go for early in the morning in the city.
Then I popped up the Google Map and was surprised to see it's not in the CBD, it's less than 3km away from home, and too good to miss out grabbing before bed.
A quick easy find, walked straight to the right spot, so I guess the co-ords were pretty good. The container was a bit sticky and messy, but in good order inside. TNLN.
Thanks for your novel and humerous contribution to the 2CCCC, Solomonfamily, sorry to hear you can't come along... next time, I'm sure.
