This ended up being our last find on our sojourn to Jimboomba. We had already done a loop for some roadworks and decided to finish up here before heading back to Browns Plains for lunch.

Even though a lot of parks these days have playground equipment safer than blowing on dandelions, this one has a few left for the risqué adventurer. Clearly the council hasn’t been sued yet and has forgot to replace them.

Do you the remember the days when you fell off a seesaw and lost some skin only for your parents to say you were just plain stupid. Kids aren’t stupid anymore because their parents have solicitors on speed dial. Aren’t the same parents the kids of yesteryear. tftc

Out and about today to keep on with a personal challenge I have set myself. Along with another challenge that I signed but not yet logged in Victoria, I thought maybe this one is possible for me to complete.
A multi a day for a year, I have a few gaps where I can plan my days, so I can fit in all my other activities, it’s possible. While this little group does not fit into my multi challenge it does help with my personal challenge. Thanks for the fun I had at these and the nice field puzzle.

I signed the log and replaced all as found, thanks.

Today, the plan was a kayak paddle on Lake Wyaralong to facilitate an event. The weather forecast was predicting rain showers, but we had a dry and pleasant paddle. A small group then took a drive to Beaudesert for a coffee / early lunch, before then taking a walk around Nindooinbah Dam.
During the afternoon, Beardman75 and I took a walk around King Coolum Reserve, and then I took a drive north finding a few geocaches around Jimboomba and targeting a few oldie geocaches within the vicinity.

This was my final find of the day as it was getting dark. I parked at a playground, and followed the trails in jogging along before arriving at GZ, and making the quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Eze fixed for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 07/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.

Thanks for the cache. Kids enjoyed it.

Lovely area. Following our gps led us to this trail. Noticed cache from trail so after we'd signed the log we rehid a little better . Still easy but a little more muggle proof.
We didn't realise this one had been here for so long!
We passed an amazing back yard on our way here. Electric fences in suburbia! The residents had their own personal oasis along with purpose made houses around the lake. Animals included were black swans, ducks, geese, chooks and many others.
Thanks for the cache Eze Fixed

Out hunting a few oldie caches for a personal challenge, and today I am here. I have covered a bit of ground today, and as the afternoon wears on I have a few more to grab still. Found a way into the park, and ignoring all the very awake dogs in the neighbourhood I walked past them, two cheeky kangaroos enjoying the greenery in someone's actual backyard (over the fence they bounded when sprung in the act by me), and off towards ... yup there it is. Another good quick find in an interesting place out of the way.

Thanks Eze fixed for entertaining me at this location.

We had come out for the day with Mrs SP to grab a couple of target caches. We were highly organised…not. As Mr 4ando was driving along the girls were looking up whether there was anything out this way that either of us needed, ie attributes, old dates, a suitcase full of money, with so many challenges out there, it is fast becoming every cache is good for something, and if not now it will be in the future no doubt.

We parked the car and ventured off for the short walk, we walked past one yard with a couple of dogs who were so excited to see us and then we walked past another yard nearing GZ and this beast was not happy to see us one bit. Heading away from the bear we were able to turn up the cache pretty quickly.

Saturday. Whilst in the area, we saw this cache (which is on our saved list being it is an older cache) and decided to pull in and grab this one. A beaut path and wooden bridge soon had us at GZ. A very quick find indeed for this cache. The area is a bit dry and would be great to see some rainfall here. Nice to log a find on this one.

This was the 7th of 16 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***Eze fixed***, for showing us this place. Smile

I was out inspecting job sites with my muggle partner today, ans as it was a slow day he offered to stop so I could find a couple of caches. This one was nearby, so I jumped out of the car and enjoyed the short walk to gz. A quick find here and then back to work! Tftc Eze fixed Big Grin

This one has been on my radar for a year or so and today i finally had a chance to do it. After reading monkey maker's log, i bought a bigger container with me. I kept monkey's original log (and signed it for him) and then placed the medium sized container in close proximity to where i found monkey's replacement.

05-Mar-17
I was in the area this morning when I noticed this stray one on the map. A 2006 cache that close has to be found, so off I went. I did 't read the cache page again but I pulled over at a park to look for the best entry on the map. It looked like around the corner a bit then head up between some houses was the best approach but when I got around there it didn't look that good. Mmm, so back around to the park again to read the cache page and a few logs. I soon realised that just over there was the entry point, you idiot was the next thought.
I took a spare container in with me as it seems this one has been broken for some time. The best I could do was a **water proof army style match stick tube.**
The walk in to GZ is amazing, a heck of a lot better then I first thought. I was soon at GZ where I found the sad state of affairs. Wow, this poor old thing has seen better days. I can't believe no one has replaced it before now. So I signed the original log, took a photo of it, hid the new one I took in and carried the old one and tossed it in the bin. There was no need to leave it behind as in it's state, it's pretty much a piece of rubbish in the bush.
I'm not sure if I actually signed the new log now, oh well it's there anyway.
**If someone could bring a bigger container in with them next time to keep it to the original listing, that would be great.**
***I've hidden the container right next to the original hide but as it is a smaller container at the moment, it's wedged between to tree trucks, see photo attached.***
Thanx for the original listing Eze fixed, hopefully we can keep this one going.

After travelling down from Toowoomba our plans for today were thwarted by the weather so we decided to make our way home slowly finding caches to fulfil the Spell November Challenge...this being one of them. The kids had a run around the park before we headed down the track. Quick find but the lid has multiple cracks and the inside is very damp. Thanks Eze fixed.

Out today to grab a couple of caches and this was the first.
Parked on a nearby street and headed to GZ accompanied by a couple of growling dogs luckily they were behind their fences.
Once in the lovely park area, I soon strolled along the tracks.
Once at GZ, it was a quick find.
Signed the log and returned all as found.

While Mrs RoddyC was working nearby it was time to take a chance with a break in the rain and go grab Earl. Fortunately, that was the case. It was a nice walk along the back of the houses instead of taking the more obvious marked trail. The cache is dry but has a very cracked lid and will obviously fill with water next prolonged wet. Found at 2.30 pm on 29th June 2015. TFTC.

Out on a caching day and wondering how some of the caches we have on our list might have survived the big rain event last weekend. This park looked like it had a lot of water flooding through it last weekend. Path in was dry and cache easily found. TFTC Eze fixed.

Greetings,

I was wondering if the next person that happens to find this cache if they could pick up the travel bug - Lips the Racin' Fish or post a discovery log on it. This travel bug has been sitting in this cache for a while now. This travel bug is currently in a race around the world and I am trying to figure out what the status of this racer is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
