Confirmed cache is indeed missing whilst on a bike ride today. We have decided not to replace.

Also had an emailed report that it could not be found, will check out or archive shortly.

Followed the clue, cache has been removed

Thanks for introducing us to a great playground, the geokids had a fantastic time. Took toy car and left toy wombat. Cheers.

09-Feb-08
After an unsuccessful FTF hunt, we dropped off here to check on the cache placement after last week's report. We found the cache in nearly the right spot, but it had also been found by (presumed muggles) Emma and Claudia yesterday, and they'd even left a small wood block with their names labelled on it. Smile

04-Feb-08
Thanks for your note cdmark, it sounds like you have put the cache back in the correct location. We will try to check on the weekend. I have also marked the geocoin as missing.

03-Feb-08
We found this after spending the weekend with friends in Croydon and then doing a 'drop-in' on friends in Diamond Creek. We passed a few caches on the way through vowing to return when we have more time but we thought we better not pass this one up. What a great structure and interesting little nooks and crannies for the kids to play in. Unfortunately, we could not spend too much time here which disappointed GeoJnr a great deal but he did manage to come a cropper off one of the steps pretty early on though. We found the cache quite a distance away from where the clue indicated. It was sitting on a ledge near the road side of the building out in the open. Log book and everything (swaps) seem to be there though. We placed it where we thought it should have been but will PM the cache owner to confirm/double check. As indicated in the previous log the GC - dak's Kansas Sunshine Geocoin was not to be found. A great little spot for a cache. Thanks pickupfamily. Cheers.

Found at 1510. This being the Australia Day weekend, I was prepared for plenty muggles to be around and a DNF on the cards. However, when I got to GZ, the only family that was there decided to leave. Spotted the cache container while standing around waiting for them to leave so it was a nice quick find. OK OK I might have slid down the firemans pole as well.

OUR 100TH FIND Big Grin
Came back here after finding this one early last year but too many muggles to retrieve.
There were still lots of muggles and mugglettes but we are little more experienced and sneaky!!
Took: dinasour
Left: spider
Thanks for our milestone pickupfamily.

I decided to take the kids here to tire them out, then I remembered that there wa a cache here. Even though there was plenty of people around, I found it with ease, took it back to the car and did the swap with no efort. From certain angles, it looks pretty exposed.
the KANSAS GC was not in the container!

I am so glad that Gary and I had Gary's friends kid with us. We would have looked so dodgy otherwise Wink Cheers Gav [1311]

08-Dec-07
We bought along the son of the friends we were staying with. That was particularly useful to avoid looking dodgy hanging about - and even more so when he arrived at GZ and said 'there it is!'. Apparently he'd been there with another geocaching friend. It still took a bit of finding - it's well hidden. -coin I think. Thanks.

What a marvelous building this turned out to be. The photograph gave us an inkling of what to expect but being able to enter and inspect the structure revealed just how complex it was.
We were fortunate to find few families present and as these left we had the opportunity to make our find.
We signed the log and swapped a Mondo for a Fish.
Thank you pickupfamily for bringing us to this unique venue.

We have been here a few time as this is one of the favourite playgrounds for the junior Mob members. We finally managed to drag the kids along to the find rather than the playground.

Thanks pickupfamily.

Found by teppwa and Jane
Lots of kids and adults around so it took some lookout work from Jane to get it out without being seen. Easy find but good fun.

We met another family here for a play date today and took the opportunity to explain geocaching to them and to check on this cache. All is well. Left geocoin.

The playground was very busy today. We are amazed the cache has lasted! (Touch wood.)

Found @ 1945.

Found with ggkof. Took us 10 mins to find with torches. Oh, to be a child again. Oh, for it to be daylight so I can play there anyway!! TNLN.

Found @ 19:45. 6th of 7 finds with Davroy out on an evenings caching in the area. No muggles to be seen at this time of night. Davroy spotted it after about a 10 min search with torches. Fantastic playground. Made me wish I was a kid again. Thanks. TNLNSL.

I grew up pestering dad to bring me down to this playground because as many would agree, it is probably the best in the area. It brought back many memories, so many infact that i was a little distracted playing on the tracktor to realise what i was realy there for! So i hiked up the cliff and then embarked on a search. Within minutes i had the cache in hand and was homeward bound once more.

Pass this one every day on the way to and from work, so thought today would be a nice day to call in on way home. Only a couple of kids there throwing the ball for their dog on the oval, leaving me enough time to get in and get the job done.
Nice hiding spot, and couldn't resist a slide down the pole for a quick exit.
Will probably take the kids here one day very nice playground for all weather.

Definitely having at least one kid along with you will help you go unnoticed on this one, but the adult almost certainly will have to get involved.

Nice to visit this park again as we used to frequent it when the kids where younger. Found the cache without too much bother and managed to retrieve and replace without anyone noticing.

Took: walrus, turtle
Left: 2 dinosaurs

09-Jun-07
I first tried for this a couple of months ago, but the park was full of families enjoying the beautiful day. Today, by the time I arrived, it was just after sunset and the light was quickly dying. There were no muggles in the park. I must admit, I cheated on this one and decrypted the clue before even looking.

Armed with the hint, it was a quick find, although without it, I imagine it could be a long difficult search. My thanks to the pickupfamily for the cache.

25-May-07
Finding the cache was easy enough but it looked like it was going to be a problem to replace when a family turned up. Fortunately they decided to play in another part of the structure. Thanks for the cache. TNLN. Greg and Bev

Dropped in on this one on the way home from Queensland would you believe. It's only 20km from home but it was right on the way so I popped in. TNLN. Thanks pickupfamily.

25-Apr-07
The roof messed around with our satellite reception but we had great fun searching for the cache without any muggles noticing - and there were a lot about today! Excellent hiding spot and what a fantastic place for the kids to play. We'll visit again. Took car and bottle opener. Left walrus and turtle. Geocache hunting is such a great way to explore our new neighbourhood! Thanks heaps Pickup Family!

06-Apr-07
Some of the parks I visited today were practically empty. Unfortunately, this one was quite the opposite. I didn't even get out of my car. I'll have to wait for another time. Thanks for the cache.

04-Apr-07
What a great play ground! I've said it before, but where were these when I was a kid??!!! Forunately the place was empty when I visited, this would be much more difficult earlier in the day.

Thanks,

I didn't think I would ever get this one but on a wet morning I thought maybe the kids would be too wussy to go out and how right I was. Almost the entire place to myself and the cache was soon discovered thanks to clue. Logged and out of there fast. thanks pickup family.

13-Feb-07
We pulled up here and thought of a series this wood fit right into. We planned to get here a bit later in the day as we did not have any kids with us for a decoy .Even at 7.45 the area was still being used by quite a few kids and parents so we headed off to a near by take away to get some tea and see if we could out wait them. By the time we had finished our tea there were only a child and his father left playing. About another 15 minutes they decided to go for a walk so we jumped at our chance. We had already decrypted the clue to try and save time inside, this was a great help as the cache was located very quickly. We did not read the cache page properly as we thought we were looking for a small (I was expecting a film canister) so we did not have any swaps with us so just signed the log
Thanks pickupfamily for showing us this fantastic play area.

03-Feb-07
I meant to leave home earlier but it was 9am by the time I got here, fully expecting the place to be occupied. The only muggles were 200 metres away playing cricket so I was lucky. I spent several minutes expecting mugglets to turn up any moment, and looking at the wrong place before I found the correct one and then the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL, and then REALLY admired the playground here! It is great and kids must love it! Thanks for showing me this place pickupfamily.

29-Jan-07
We dropped it today just to have a quick look at 14.30. The park was full on this last day of school holidays so we had a wander around without being too obvious.
Will have to visit again when there are less muggles around.

09-Jan-07
Exercising care to avoid discovery we managed to find successfully.

Took magnetics and squishy lion
Left paratrooper and flute.

Thanks.

Found by Mary & David at 2030. Had a look in this morning, but when we saw how many people were here we didn't even get out of the cachemobile. Much better on our way home tonight. Had the place all to ourselves. A great spot for kids of all ages. TNLN. Our thanks to pickupfamily.

Found by Bob at 1000

After a hot night, and the promise of a hot day to come - and a weekday at that, I thought I might find this spot reasonably quiet this morning so, after a pleasant motorbike ride through Eltham, I braved the perils of the Adventure Playground and succeeded in logging it Big Grin. There were only 2 or 3 mums+kids wandering about the place, and it's quite big so I was able to do my business without raising undue alarm (I always act like a building inspector in these situations - peer at the structural members, knock on a few beams, make some notes in my pda, etc - although I still feel a bit uncomfortable). I see what you mean about it being prone to muggle discovery Wink.

TNLN - but I did take the geocoin

Thanks pickupfamily

Found on second trip. Do not even bother during the day on a weekend. Way tooooo many kids. Had to come back at night to complete it. Found it easy!! Lots of goodies inside.

Took: Manni Ice Age Toy
Left: Magnetic Sticks and Geocoin.

Thankyou for the lovely park. I even had a slide down the firemans pole!

Found this one with little fuss or bother apart from the fact that John Cleese hasn't heard of this area (Tom Tom)
Came at night and it was a cold night so little muggles were not a problem thankfully.
TNLN but thanks indeed

Great playground. Luckily it was night and dark so the mini-muggles weren't there. Looks like a great spot to play though.
A quick find (and a scramble up the climbing wall), and we were on our way.
Thanks, Robmc

Todays 3rd find at 9:42pm. Accompanied by Chewinprickles and Robmc on our usual friday cache till we drop night out.
I have seen the picture of this place and have been wanting to go here for a while,
its a pitty it was at night but I still enjoyed it, its a good idea there should be more of these around.

What a great play shed. It was in use but I managed to visit the right spot without anyone on the floor beside me. I must have looked pretty out of place!!
I took a bottle of bubbly and left Travel bug 607310.

Arrived towards the end of the cricket match and all eyes were watching the game. There were only two children playing, which made it an easy find. Thanks pickupfamily.

I had been past this cache location a few times whilst working but decided to wait until today so the whole family could enjoy the location. We arrived at the playground and as fast as I could park the car the boys where off like a rat up a drain pipe.
After grabbing the GPS and locking the car we joined the fun of the playground and it was not hard to see where the cache was hidden, but it was going to involve athletic fitness to reach it however this is something that most male geocachers are trained in and I just had to do it.
After climbing to new heights in caching the container was accessed and after a few minutes the log book was signed and the container returned to its hiding spot. It was then up to me to show the kids my fire fighting technique.
Many thanks to The Pickupfamily for the cache in a spot that a return visit is a must.

Dear PickUpFamily,

We found your cache today at 4:15pm as the second of five on our Fathers Day Frolic. 6 y.o. "A" enjoyed this park so much and we spend so much time here that the last cache we had planned for the day, we had to locate in the dark. We played for almost an hour when we decided that we had better get going and find the cache. We were then surprised that we had been playing right around it, coming within cm of it and also surprised that it was so large. Thanks for the cache.

Kind Regards,

D,H & A B-A

A quick maintenance visit around 9:30am. All looks OK, except added a pen after the original seems to have disappeared.

This is a place my kids have been many many times. they were stoked to learn of a cache under their noses all this time. this was a nice and easy one but needed to be a bit sneaky and use kids as a decoy. Clue led us straight to it. will need sense of touch to find. took travel bug.
thanks Claudes's Crew

On arriving at the bushland carpark could see the challenge would be on with kids inside and out swarming.Shuffled around abit until i spotted the sneaky hide-now for the retrievial! With a lightning speed move ,grabbed the hidden stash in the sneaky location. Its amazing it hasnt been muggled ,but there it remains !Did the paperwork fast ,found it at 5.00pm,did a ultra quick re-hide and slithered off quietly.Certainly a well recommended cache especially for the geo-kids in a great new facility in an exciting bush setting!TNLN and thanks to the pickupfamily from the Farmers 5.

Found 11:15, a nice easy find despite the number of muggles abroad.

TNLN, thanks to the pickupfamily.

We found your cache thankz

With a nearby gym class cancelled, we headed here for a bit of fun (not to mention cache finding) before setting off home. I had actually planned to do this while EuDes herself was gyming but I guess the cancellation proved fortuitous as I don't think this is really a place for the SWM syndrome Surprised.

While EuDes herself gave the adventure park a good going over, I found the cache at 10:15.

TNLNSL. Thanks pickupfamily. A sensational spot for kids and I'm sure we'll see it again.

12-Aug-06
I was in the company of Kevin from Spy kids he had to play soccer at research so we thought we would take the afternoon to do some caches in the area. We found the cache at 13:00 we did not remove the container, we were lucky the log was on top so we removed the log singed it and then replaced it all with out the Muggles even knowing what was going on. Thanks pickupfamily for taking us to this location.

Mrs ssmc4 & the 2 kids went on an expedition to this one. It was a familiar playground for them and they loved looking for the tricky cache hide as well as playing on all the great equipment.
Took: 2 bouncy balls
Left: Ice Age toy, glow-in-the-dark frog.

Well done and thanks!

Found at11.50am GAFF3. Amazed that there were so many people about on this wet and cold morning. Most were ignoring us, however we still had trouble in moving about unrestricted. Eventually weakened and looked at the hint and found soon after. Thanks pickupfamily. Took: Glow stick and Lamp Post geocoin. Left: Bangle.

15:15 our 60th find as Solomonfamily. Wading through the ducks who were lavishing in the pouring rain, made my way to the coordinates. Not a muggle in sight due to the weather. Found very easily but not so easy for me to reach due to my height. Magical place in the rain and we will head back there once Solomon jr wakes from his nap. Thank you pickupfamily for the opportunity- Queen Solomon. In squishy lion, out stapler set Wink.

Visited tonight for the second time today - the rest of the family had to check out this fantictic inside adventure - thanks pickupfamily for taking us here. Dropped off Geocoin Lamp Post that King Solomon Snr just retrived from NSW.

Having been defeated on Monday by the presence of mini-denizens, I decided to come along after work/after dark. This time the only kids in the vicinity were at the nearby soccer field, and there were no minders to accuse me of "taking pictures of the children". Sad I had already decrypted the hint, but there were two of the desired objects in the shed. Of course, I searched the wrong one extensively first. I finally found it at 1810. I'd hate to tackle this one if there were any people present. It's a great playground--one of the best I've seen. I particularly liked the fact that some of it is under cover. I made no exchange. Thanks to pickupfamily for the cache.

Our first FTF!! A virgin log which is an unfamiliar sight. Walked to the spot in the late afternoon thinking the cool temperature might deter local activity. Sussed out the location but a muggle family were a little too close to make a snatch. Came back a little after dusk and picked it up nicely. Well camouflaged. Took a pink frog, left a green/black/red butterfly. Thanks Pickupfamily for an opportunity not to be missed.
