Found on our way to Bendigo for the weekend. As we approached the intersection near here I made the comment to Mrs Fergzter that there must be a cache over there. Sure enough we looked at the map and there was one. We were not planning to stop as we were headed into town for lunch, but opportunity beckoned. Once calculated the cache was found in good order. Thanks for placing this one for us to find today Keeper of Time.

Doing record keeping and this one has slipped by the radar. Sometimes I don't press the button hard enough and often I press the wrong one. Catching up now.
Enjoyed the multi and the area and sorry for the late logging.

My knees don't want to bend anymore after a massive ride on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail and then about 145 finds the next day while finishing the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series [xx(] Wink Seems my driving lesson was about me keeping both feet on the ground as I broke my own record by doing the autumn leaf thing 4 times in one day SurprisedRed Face [xx(]

An interesting spot

I had gathered the required info earlier but somehow we had a mixup with where i thought GZ was. Luckily we headed out in the best direction and luck was on our side. Log signed and happily passed around to Claybol and virbull before being replaced. Tftc

20-Jan-17
A nice spot and a strightforward multi. Once the final co-ords were calculated, we strolled over to make the find. There was a small frog near GZ today! Just as we were about to leave, a muggle pulled up to collect his supply of spring water. Thanks KoT.

15-Jan-17
A quick stop on the way home from Bendigo. Tired legs, sore feet and a sense of satisfaction. Plenty of caches found today, but one last stop off here couldn't be resisted.
Nice little cache. The tb that is in the inventory isn't here though.

Find #1248 for me. This was the final cache find after a pleasant caching trip with jtnsilo (Lois), leaving Bendigo nice and early at 6am to beat the heat. Later in the day we joined up with virbull after refreshments at a nearby cafe. By the time we arrived here it was 4pm but while hot, there was cloud cover and a slight breeze making it quite pleasant (or not unbearable at least!). We gathered the information at the posted coordinates and treated ourselves to some wonderful mineral water. After making the necessarily calculations we were set to head for our calculated GZ about 1km away by car. Just as we started out on the next leg of our journey however, Lois noticed something that looked like a cache hide. It turns our she was right and it was this cache! Later in the comfort of home I found the obvious error in our calculations, but thanks to Lois' keen eye we still made a quick find! Way to go! Thanks for bringing us here to this lovely refreshing location Keeper of Time. This cache also contributed to the Multicache Monthly Challenge this month which we are attempting, so an extra thanks for placing this straightforward little multicache for us to find here today!

Stopped for a toilet stop during a heavy downpour. Looked like it would go over soon so decided to attempt this cache. Got the numbers and as the sun came out headed for the cache. Was easily found as it had been muggled, the contents scattered and the cache full of water. Gathered everything up and signed the surprisingly dry log and hid it in what appeared to be its original hide and camoflaged.

Find # 3730 @ 1202 H

After a quick pit stop I back tracked to grab this cache. working out the location for GZ was quite simple apart from the muggles that were interested in why I needed the information.
A couple of white lies later and I went to my ute to "collate" the information, and to wait out the muggles.
Once they had left I made a quick and perfect parking move and soon had the cache in hand.

04-Sep-16
Having spent a weekend of visiting rellies and attending dinner engagements in Melbourne, we decided to cache our way home the long way, picking up one or two at each town along the way.

Pulled up at the first waypoint and there was a gentleman and his wife filling many large bottles with the water. Gathered the required information then made the short walk to GZ. Nobody looking our way as we quickly found the cache then moved away to sign the log. Dropped the Deadly Duck trackable Elbert and removed a cigarette lighter from the cache. Replaced it just as easily. Great location - thank you for bringing us here and for the cache Keeper Of Time.

02-Apr-16
As I arrived at GZ I saw this old bloke filling up bottles of water from the pump and loading them into his car. The funniest thing was that the car had the sticker on the boot "Irresistible Bitch" and a kissie lips next to that! He certainly didn't 'fit' his car... Put the coords into the GPS and then off the the final. Wow THAT was exposed, especially today! Muggle car after muggle car... I should have parked right next to it, to give myself just a tad more cover. TFTC

Last cache on a journey of about 1500 km we were heading home when a discussion of the springs began. tuns out eighthknox was unfamiliar so we detoured to this great reserve where we enjoyed the mineral water and collected the info needed to lead us to the cache. Turns out it took me to a part of the reserve I was unaware of TFTC

Collected the clues, then a short walk to GZ where the cache was located. Very good co ords made this find a quick one. Thanks Keeper of Time.

We didn't know Kyneton had a Mineral Spring, but now we do.
Fantastic to find a cache published before we started too!

Travelling around Australia today we explored a few more spots around Kyneton before moving to Woodend. We did the sums to locate this cache on our arrival but given it's location we decided to leave it as a convenient smilie for our moving day.

We are loving our visit to Victoria with soooo much history we are being shown.

Now in Woodend for the next fortnight surely we will be having a bal in this area.

Beautiful but frozen morning in Kyneton. Ice on the ground everywhere, had to warm the pen to log the cache! Heaps of swaps, took nothing. TFTC!

I don't know how many times I have been past here - especially before the bypass was built, and I have only stopped here a couple of times. Today was a day to stop here as I was helping with a family car shuffle to get Dad down to Melbourne. 9For interest, I gave my sister lift and met Dad who drove down from Charlton and then my sister drove Dad in his car back to Melbourne leaving me to do some caching!) Anyway, after seeing Dad and sister off after having lunch in Kyneton, I started this multi. Had the information in hand a sensible looking GZ worked out. After the short walk I found the cache quickly - and it is definitely an exposed position - thankfully the place was almost deserted today! Thanks to Keeper of Time for this one.

12-Apr-15
Sorry for delay in posting - have been out of service area for a few days.
Having spent the day with my sister from Guildford, babysitting her grandchildren in Kyneton, we were lucky that this turned out to be quite an easy find as we were both pretty weary. A few muggles around as we approached, but by the time we had gathered the information and prepared to approach GZ they had all packed up and left.
This cache is in a lovely spot that hubby and I had often spoken of as a possible camp if we were ever touring this direction though I doubt we would ever use it as there are so many relatives close by with spacious blocks.
We had never actually stopped here so never knew how good these waters are. Sis actually emptied her water bottles so she could refill them from the spring.

As I've discovered with all the caches of yours that I have found, a well executed multi and great hide. Took a TB. Tftc

26-Sep-14
Find number two for the day. My parents visited this spot many years ago and commented that the mineral water wasn't very nice compared to the stuff in Daylesford, so I hadn't bothered to stop here and try it. The cache lured me to the location today and I was pleasantly surprised to find the mineral water was pretty good, almost comparable to the Daylesford water. Maybe it's changed since my parents were here.
After the necessary calculations I proceeded to GZ, I thought the cache had been muggled initially as the cache wasn't in the obvious spot, however I persevered with my search and the well hidden cache was extracted. Took one of the TB's and left a puzzle. TFTC Keeper of Time.

Since I have declared March to be Multi month, Bexta and I headed up the Calder to pick up some multis. This was one of them. Some massive group or other was having a BBQ in this park when we arrived, so we felt a little conspicuous, but we were able to collect the clues fairly easily. We strolled over to GZ and despite my GPS pointing miles away, there was only one or two places the cache could be and Bexta found it with ease. We picked this cache up at 3:56pm.

Thanks for the cache Keeper of Time.

02-Mar-14
On a caching adventure with LouiseAnn. After checking out the local attractions and we soon had the information required to grab the cache. There was a large crowd of muggles enjoying a BBQ lunch nearby, they didn't even notice us. Smile It was surprising how busy this location was on a Sunday. TFTC

Arrived at area to figure out the coordinates and somehow forgot that we were doing a multi. A couple of muggles nearby so I had my camera ready and proceeded to take random photos. Good thing about digital cameras these days. Then remembered it was a multi so quickly worked out the coordinates and moved on to find the cache. Thanks for the fun. Geokids didn't like the taste of the water nearby either. Lol.

03-Nov-13
In Bendigo for a caching weekend with Julz76 and 2 geokids. This one was found on the trip home.

Arrived at GZ and started stealthily searching as there were muggles nearby, til Julz remembered it was multi. Doh! So she retrieved the notes from the car and we soon had it solved. A very short walk and we had the cache in hand.
Thanks
