Not exactly a DNF, as both our GPSrs took us to the same spot - in the middle of a lawn. We had a desultory poke around some locations 10m away, but we thought we must have had the wrong co-ords for it to put us smack in the middle of nothing but grass like that. We might try tomorrow and see if it was some weird alignment of satellites.
No luck here today. I found a likely spot, but there was no cache. Oh well maybe next time.
Not a DNF, as we didnt even get out of the car. Plenty of people fishing very close to GZ, and some were catching, but so as not to compromise the cache, we passed it by without getting out.

Thanks for the cache. We also gave GeoDog a wash who rolled in something that was definately not Channel #5!
our first find we never took anything but added a toggle switch a lovely spot but can get busy with muggles around
No bears found in Forbes today but a good chance to strech the legs and have a break.

On our way back from 2 wonderful weeks on Frazer Island. Nice little road side stop to stretch the legs. Partner xambo4u has finally worked out how he can get me to travel without going to sleep. Love these hides as I can find them.

Found at 10.35 am on our way home after wintering in Queensland. We haven't got into your series but thank you for taking us off the road to this pleasant spot, Team Bluedog and Emm and family. TNLNSL
Took travel bug left navy key ring.
Heaps of muggles around this one. Gotta be careful as they walk dogs, ride bikes and turn up unexpectedly on horse and buggy.

Well...we found the cache, but, I forgot to bring a pen!
We had walked from our accommodation over a kilometer away and it was getting dark.
I mentioned to the crew that "Almost all caches have a pen, we don't have to worry!"
Bzzzt! Wrong. No pen.
Sorry we couldn't sign the log and it was a long way back to base.
Next time!
Thanks Bluedog.

Found at 11.25am by my travelling mate Pete M. from Adelaide whilst on our trip from Adelaide to Temora and then northerly to Forbes, Parkes, Narrabri and Bourke before returning to SA via the Darling River. Took bracelet and left Bear Head magnet.
Pete nearly got dizzy on the retrieve! Good place to revive & have a cuppa.
Thanks Team Bluedog and Emmnmninbub.

Found on my west by nor west caching lookaround. Plenty of water in the lake, a sign of the good rains of late. Very attractive location that one would not see but for caching. TFTC.
Camped near by last night and got Cache first thing this morning, after dodging a few muggles exercising.

Having to go to Forbes for work I had to give myself a break. This was a good one. Approached carefully due to the other logs but the offending rubbish was off to one side so grabbed the cache easily. Took coin and Lanyard, left TB and stubby holder. Covered back with leaf mulch so future finders poke around carefully. SL TFTC
Good one Blue dog (Or hould I say poo dog) yes it is still in there, but I navigated around the offending co habitant of you hiding place, Getting to know you know. Cache in good order, left a geocoin.
Great spot for luch we thought on this sunny Monday. So we got out the gear and patiently waited for the muggles to disappear before we tackled the cache. Took gloves (previous finder warned us) for successfull find. Took Jeep TB, LNSL Thanks Team Bluedog et al for the cache.
errr.. i DID find it but some one had dumped what looked like a nappy or something on it... with out gloves i wasn't touching it but could see it underneath.
other wise would of been a great cache in a great location.

A quick find but a not so quick return. We parked beside it. I grabbed the cache and while sitting in the car filling out the log A muggle with bottle in brown paper sat on a nearby seat. Luckly he responded to the 'walk around with camera' diversion and removed himself after the lens was pointed in his general direction a couple of times.

Found the cache, but due to nearby (very nearby) muggles, I was unable to extract it without drawing attention.
Found this cache at 10:20am on our way home from Parkes and the Elvis Festival. (What great fun).
What a lovely spot to stop and stay awhile. Next time.
Put new log book in (hope that was OK)The piece of paper was full.
Left: 2 wooden dolly peggs, Shrek, 2 sets of hair bands.
Left: TB Jeepster.
Thanks Team Bluedog and Emmnmninbub for the hide, another one for us in your series of Newell caches.

19th on the "Bought a car in Toowomba, had to drive it to Tassie, do some caching to break up the trip" Tour
Arrived at GZ to find muggles everywhere. Left to collect another cache and returned some quarter of an hour later, cache was quickly in hand. TFTC.
With gerrynewgirl handling the paperwork I decided to come back to this one with muggles sitting in their vehicles on both side of a geocachers obvious hiding spot. Back in a flash I soon had the cache. TFTC TN left token.
Nice peaceful area. Found the cache quickly, just before a car and caravan pulled up, and its occupants poured a cuppa. Could have been a long wait! Thanks for the cache.

Found @ 1245 in the company of Vombatus while traveling to Dubbo to do the fireworks for the Monster Truck Show. We have traveled through Forbes on many occasions but this is the first time that wee have visited this location. It was a shame that we had eaten or it would have been a great place to have lunch
We were able to park near the cache and were able to use the vehicle to block prying muggle eyes. The cache was located quickly, we signed the log while watching the ducks peacefully float by and then we were back on the road once more
Thanks for the cache

One of many caches discovered with Team Crackers whilst on a road trip to Yarrawonga, Wagga Wagga, Deni and Dubbo for various fireworks displays.
Had to use the geocaching art of "inconspicuosity" to get to this one due to the grey nomads stopped nearby for a cuppa. Parked right on top of the hide, slipped out the wrong side of the car, crawled up to the cache and back to the car without being seen. Then just a matter of reversing the process to return the cache. A cache recovery without detection.

Visited whilst on our return trip to Bendigo. Having quickly found a neighbouring cache we decided to give this one a go before heading off for a meal. Once we sorted out the road network and got ourselves in the cache vicinity and Mrs P found the cache in the first place she looked. Satellites had the GZ 13m south of the cache site today.

Found at 4:00PM on the 28th of June by Maya and Ray. Easy find for Maya, she had no problem locating the cache. TN, left a neck strap. Thanks for the cache. The Nomads.
Thanks for the last report. Could we get a pen dropped off if anyone is going past. Bluedog.
Even though this one said it was out of action we thought we would have a go anyway. Yep! there is a cache there but we did not take a pen and their was no pen in container so could not sign the log. We had stopped in the nearby park with the caravan and went for a lovely wander by the lake. Their was a lady mowing the grass so walked on further than the cache, waited for her to go and then made our move. Really easily seen so Mr Downer, who is taller than me, got this one and made sure he hid it a lot better on return. Did no swaps because we did not think cache would be there so didn't go prepared, silly us!!! Thanks for the cache. It could more than likely go back on line now, just needs some generous people to put a pen in it, and a bit short on swaps!
A quick find on my return trip from the Brisbane national square dance convention thanks for the cache. No swaps made
3rd strike by the muggles on this one. Not sure when I will be heading past to fix it up, so its temporarily off the market. Bluedog.
The emptiest cache I have found. Signed the log but nothing else at home. Might need a new location as think a muggle knows where this is. J&J
Well found the container and remnants of a cache but this has most certainly been muggled. Signed a bit of paper to put in the log but this one needs to be re-loaded.
Kimberly Trip 08. This seemed to be a nice spot to camp, a few caravans were present. There did not seem to be any undue attention as I visited the cache. Sorry about what seems to have happened since. Thanks.

Looks like this one was muggled right after we visited it. I hope we wern't the cause. This was our first for the day after camping just outside of town. Quite a pleasant sight with the morning mist hanging over the water.
Thanks indeed.
Thanks indeed.
First cache find for the day and cache sixteen on day two of our trip north to Brisbane, the cache was found at 0650 in the company of chewinprickles. We guessed the spot from about 50m and soon had the cache in hand to the sound of many Galahs, there was not much covering it, we left as best we could. Thanks
Second find of the day. Great spot to sit and watch the ducks flot past. Thanks. Took Bee and left recorder
Found @ 10:15 while on the way home from the Gold Coast. 3rd of 6 for the day. Quick find. Thanks. TNLNSL
We able to do this one quite easily as we parked in the nearby area with the caravan and spent the night there (no sign of this practice being discontinued and there were many travellers there). Lovely area. TNLN. thanks Team Bluedog and Emmnmnlnbub
A nice quick find just on dark on our way back down towards Wagga after a fairly full days caching!

This one is now back online due to being renewed and restocked by new cacher and longtime friend "hoogs" and his tribe as they passed though. Enjoy. The contents are a bit light on so any donations will be gratefully accepted.
Didn't have updated information, just co-ords in the GPSr so didn't realise this was out of action. Found cache easily enough but didn't open due to it's terrible state. Lovely spot to stop for breakfast on our trip home from Tassie anyway.
Needs some work - not sure when I will be down that way next. Might be a few weeks. Bluedog
Found on the way to Coffs Harbour, Nice place, Container found with small hole in bottom corner, Container also had some food in the bottom that had attracted many maggots, emptied contents out on the ground and replaced the log book only, Did not log my entry.
We found our 1st Team Bluedog cache at 10:35am as the 5th of 16 on our Northern Stripe across NSW trip. An easy find but the cache is in severe disrepair and all contents are ruined. Sorry for the lateness of this log but we have only just returned home and I see that another cacher has since placed a cache maintenance log. Thanks for the cache from D,H,H & A B-A.
Nice hidey hole. Brings back Hang Gliding memories for Garth being here. Do you have any idea how many days are "a good day for flying!". TFTH
Easy find but had to do some contortions to make sure that I wasn't seen by nearby muggles in cars. TNLN. Thanks to The hiders for putting a cache in this nice spot.
found while staying o'nite in camper. took geocoin & 50cents left balloon & pencil. TFTC
Straight forward find but the rehide complicated by muggles. Left coin. I've never wandered around the lake on this side of the highway. tftc
12th find for the day, nice spot and we fed the ducks as cover. Easy find as there are not too many possible options. A couple of other cachers (we think) turned up as we left for the next cache. Thanks!!
Straight away saw something growing where something shouldn't have been. Logged the cache and then watched the ducks while we wawited for the doggie walkers and coffee drinkers to do their stuff.
