Cache 2741 on 12/8/17

A year ago exactly, Happy Uke and I started the Hearts series. Today after dropping Bobl27 off at another event, we finally finished the series, almost finished the Horcrux series and grabbed a few trads on the way back to collect Bobl27. A fun day with lots of talking and a bit of caching on the side. Unless otherwise indicated the caches were all good condition and found quickly.

A quick find while out collecting a few other caches in the area.

Thanks pinkgamr for the cache!

12-Aug-17
We are back! AngelG27 and I have been wanting to finish the heart series, since finding most of it exactly a year ago. I was picked up, then Bobl27 was dropped off and we got into caching mode. Lots of talking, lots of laughter, some slightly dodgy navigating and a few caches of course. We finished the heart series, just need to defeat Voldemort in the horcrux series and grabbed the occasional trad on the way... overall sixteen for the day.

This was our fourth for the day. Enjoyed the walk here and the nice view. Thanks

I had come to this fire trail last Sunday for another cache and realised this was where I come to access this cache that I had seen on my closest 30 caches list. Decided to come back today with my 3 geodogs and made a quick find. Loved that some muggles had signed the log book. SL #3252 on streak day #1858 TFTC

05-Jul-17
found after a walk down the firetrail. The cripple creek gorge was impressive. great to sit at 4pm as the sun was lowering down to the trees, what a peaceful moment. TFTC

11/5/17. 10:00 AM. Cache #4995.
1st of 8 finds today - Mount Riverview, Yellow Rock & Winmalee.

In search of more Puzzled Hearts today on my way to a milestone. I parked at the end of Grandview Drive and headed north to this cache, with a plan to get three more hearts on the way back south to the car.

The walk didn't take too long on a good trail, and once I was at GZ, it didn't take me too long to find a likely hiding spot. Removed some camo to find the cache. SL, replaced and then headed back to "Stop Dragging My Heart Around". TFTC.

21-Jan-17
Today was a big adventure day, knocking off most of the caches from [Phobias](http://coord.info/gc47xxq) in the east, up over Bad Man Ridge, to Warrimoo. I'm very pleased to have found 16 of 16 including some real doozies. I got dirty, sweaty, and sunburnt, with only one close call to speak of. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining some really great caches. Doling out favourite points is going to be a tough call for sure!

-----end of cut & paste section-----

Cache #1. As I approached this one I thought I could hear voices, but they sounded like they were on a radio or something. I never quite figured out where they were coming from, but it might have been an announcer from a sportsfield in the valley below. Anyway the cache was found relatively quickly thanks to great coordinates. Nice docile one to start off the day. TFTC!

Happy Australia Day!
Thomo31 decided to do a walk and revisit our first cache which was on 1-3-2009. Enjoyed the walk, did some birdwatching and got rained on walking back to the car. Typical caching lately. Have a great Australia Day 2016 ?

Out with JJCC today for an early morning cache run coming back to an area we visited yesterday when we got the nearby Phobias cache. On today's visit we parked at the end of Grand View Drive and walk the fire trail to just near GZ. The last couple of metres we headed towards the cliff with GPS placing us on the edge of the rock platform. Turning back around we noticed the telltale signs of the cacher's hide and soon had the cache in hand.

We signed the log before returning the cache and covering with the provided camo. Before making our return walk to the car we enjoyed the spectacular views on offer at this location - thanks for bringing us here. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. An excellent cache to find if you have geokids in tow. TFTC pinkgamr

Needing a cache today to continue a streak with Team Merlin we headed back to Grand View Drive.
We parked as close to the GZ as possible and set off for a pleasant walk along the fire trail.
Approaching GZ we were close to the cliff face looking back towards the trail we noticed a likely hide
and quickly had the cache in hand. Very nice cache container full of lots of girly swaps.

The log was signed and returned as found. I swapped a few items for my girls they would of really liked this cache it is a same they are in school today. Might have to bring the Geo family back to this cache. Log and cache container in good condition.

This time of year only gives one enough light for one or two caches like this. The walk is good, (should brought the bike), and the view at the end is fantastic. I love the sharp rock outcrop near the cache location. Many thanx.

I have been meaning to get out to this cache for the best part of a year now, finally today the eldest junior and I made the walk. Perfect day for it too!

Instead of taking the direct route via the fire trail we meandered through the bike trails, boy they have been making some modifications since last time I was out this way (pre caching days).

Cach is in great condition, and what a great colour!

Taking this cache offline while the bushfire emergency is happening. Will enable after a cache check when it's safe to do so.

Started out here before the event today for a quick walk in the bush. The searing heat and relentless wind was very draining but the pretty pink cache was in good order and still chocked full of girlie goodies. Nice views over the lakes and trees moving at up to 45 degree angles was an experience. Took a TB.

Cheers!

An easy find while bushwalking.
Loaded cache, but the musical brush is starting to sound sick.

09-Jun-13
Found this cache while attempting the heart series today.

The cache was quickly found, and we opened it up to see many girly things inside. Myself and the geoboy posed for a couple photos wearing the stuff - even though even I would never wear them!!

This cache has great views and is well worth the walk. We stayed at the cache area for a while, taking photos of us, TBs in boot and the cache.

TFTC pinkgamr!

On a GeoWander with team ASO (who had already logged Gamer Girlz previously), this was a simple seek and find. Cache container is bulging with goodies, needing the 'tidiness' gene of Lady ASO to repack, including TB.
