"Rovering" seems to have been in a precarious position in the last couple of months, and I have wondered about its safety when I've checked recently.
Today, I went to check the cache and found it missing.... gone.... no sign of it anywhere. There is a new structure near to the Rovers Den and work seems to be in progress to restore the den.
I don't know why it's gone MIA, but it seems futile to replace it.
Hopefully there will be a "Rovering 2" sometime in the future

A heavy lube maintenance job has been conducted on this cache.
It should be easy to open now.
Well the oil job didn't help me much - the lid was being stubborn!! I gave it a good whack on the concrete and that loosened it up (a moderate whack anyway - to ensure the integrity of the cache!). Love the hide! Thanks findalot.
Glad Mr DisSister was with me for this one. I didn't have near enough strength to open the cache. Great hide!

lucky I was with aquilla as it was only my 3rd find and would not have found it without some assistance
It took a few minutes before we spotted this clever hide. Well done Findalot! TFTC
Found at 0710. Very clever hide. I had visited the cache before but there were a few muggle about so a good search of the GZ prove to be a bit of a pipe dream. This time had the place to myself and the cache was soon in hand. Cache in good nick TFTC.
Accompanied with Ozcymru and Celtieless. Another excellent camo. SL. Thanks findalot for organising the cache and hunt.
Relying on Pa freaks data as mine was void over Samford, we strolled over here and lurked in the shadows while waiting for the lawnmower man to finish. There was no game on today, but I did feel a little exposed looking around. Pa freak made the clever find after a short while.
Thanks Findalot
Thanks Findalot
There was no football but some intensive lawn mowing was underway when we reached GZ. We consumed our well earned drinks and waited for the team to finish and move on. The well disguised cache was soon to hand after this - fortunately as time was up and we needed to be elsewhere. The log is full but otherwise in good condition. TFTC.
I popped out to check on this one today.... seems it was found today as well.... Nice work!!!
After lots of frustration and anxiety and with the help of Findalot, I eventually found it! This would have to be my most troublesome find so far!
A great cache and a good hide.
A great cache and a good hide.
I have a feeling the cache has gone. If it was where I think it was there is only glue left there.
I found out what the Rovering meant from Gefscofix. Is it a mens club only or women too? Very clever hide and container. Muggles in the area so waited a bit until it was clear. Posthaste, Gefscofix and I were on the lookout!

Found this one at night with no problems. Had to wait awhile for some muggles to pass but once the coast was clear, was able to grab the cache and sign the log. Recognized this cache immediately as we have several of these in Guam. TFTC-SL TNLN
Oooh this was a sneaky one. We took the time to check out our local footy team playing cause the GPS was a bit wacko. After some sitting and thinking DH had a brain snap and found his first geocache.
Yay found this one today - clever little hide.
Today was our 2nd attempt but with a much better GPS.

We found a Find a Lot cache - whoooee - MrMad found this cache on a run with Skippy and SA Parrothead for 24 hours. Thanks for the cache.
Found on our 24 hour Caching run around Brisbane and the outer suburbs.
Visiting from South Aust for the weekend.

The first time I attempted this one, some youngsters were training in a nearby small field. Quiet find today after walking around it a couple of times. TNLN. SL. TFTH
I had a friend with me today and was introducing him to caching. This was a clever little hide which was found at 1730hrs. Thanks findalot for an interesting change.

A clever hide. We also made use of the nearby structure to shelter for a quick shower of rain that came past. TFTC
I lost my PDA out caching today If you're lucky enough to find it while searching for the cache, I'd love to have it back!
This sort of cache is my favourite, nice and quick find with geohound in tow. Did not have a pencil with me (I was sure one was in my bag, sigh...) so did not sign log - will return to officially sign another day.
Another one of those sneeky hides......in a typical Rovering hangout Thanks for the tour of Samford Village.

#5 of 13 finds whilst 'on the way to the airport' on my last day in Brisbane this year. I found this one at 1120. Boy! I have seen some buildings in need of repairs, but this one takes the biscuit! Obviously, the Rovers are too busy roving to tend to the club house. It's a clever hide, and it took me a while to tumble to it, despite the coordinates being accurate. I made no exchange. Thanks to findalot for the cache. Cheers, dak.
P.S. There is no Unite for Diabetes TB in the cache. Can it please be marked as missing?

Afterward we found this cache, a very clever hide. At first I found an eclipse tin and thought "FOUND", but then I realised it was a discarded tin, therfore I practiced CITO and scored another cache container.
TFTC, recomended hide!

Bug was "dropped" into this cache by a recording error. The correct drop was GCX2MG. An email has been sent to TB owner in an attempt to correct record.

Had some bad luck on some earlier cashes almost gave up on this one but found it. left tb.
I must say, this is a clever, sneaky, tricky hide, but I seemed to enjoy this one above all of the others. The cunning displayed in hiding this one would put one Mr S.H. Rat to shame! Well done! Rastas and LochB came along, with Rastas sitting in his car watching, laughing...

Great little area is Samford, great cache took us a little time but well worth it. Well disguised
Couldn't find after much searching by Tabmow68, Hawk01 & Tonino. Had to abandon search when Tonino got bitten by an ant. Quick trip to shops for medication to deal with the stinging. We'll have to have another go next time I'm in Brisbane.

Checked all of the most obvious places but no luck. Will have to think about this one and try again another day.

i htought you said this one should be easy even with Muggles around. Not this close though. Came back later to find it after spotting the odd bit out.
This marked 1400 finds for the Posspet Boys. Cheers

Ooh! We liked this little hide, very sneaky Took us a few minutes to spy this one, probably the hardest one for the day. TFTC
Had to wait for the kids to finish their warm-up exercises as they were almost on top of GZ. Once they left to play their match we looked for something unusual, spotting it after about 5 minutes. A nice hide for my 100th find. Thanks findalot.

Hurray!! 100th find!! And in such a gorgeous little hide, too, I really liked this one. Excellent work . We did have to wait for a team of little tykes to nick off, as they and their hangers-on were wondering why we were walking through their warm-up exercises...took the opportunity to go grab a drink at the lovely pub, though. TFTC!
Our ninth find today. Found in company with Xixau and Shenzi and we set a new daily record of 36 cache finds.
Very clever hide, would have expected this from Wingaap. Took us about 15mins all the while Jerry was filming us (since he had found it on another caching day out!!)
TNLN.

Found it at last, we won't say how many visits it took! Very clever hide. Thanks for the cache. Andrew and Maryan.
This took a little while to find, but there are enough clues in the current posting to find it.

That's 3 wow's in a row from me to findalot today.
Another *recommended* cache from me on this hide.
I was somewhat confused by my GPS signal today, but nevertheless a GAFF1 find after I narrowed it down to one location and then I spotted the wonderful cache hide.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks again findalot. I think visiting your caches makes for an *Overall Experience: 4* today and people from outside the area or just visiting should take the time to do these caches. They are far from ordinary and wonderful to behold.

Woohoo! This was our second attempt at this one and we found it within seconds (thanks to a hint from cebidae who we met at Fatso earlier). Fantastic disguise. Well done and TFTC!
And, this camo was even better than 'Little Squirt'. Turned over a few rocks before finding the real cache. TFTC. Find 6 of 14 today.
[^] Great camouflage findalot! We love sneaky caches like this, that are visable to all passersby, but little do they know! Mr Mini is really good at finding these types of hides and spotted it after a short hunt.
Thanks for another great cache.
Thanks for another great cache.
What a great camo job. Took us a while but we finaly found it. Thanks for the cache
very clever cam here from little squirt even so was stood nearly on it for a few minutes.....very clever camo, might steal this idea for a cache or two in the UK. (If you dont mind that is)
Found with eventful. 5th cache for the day. Spotted RASTAS000 on the horizon - this helped us with the find. Creative concealment!
Our fifth find of the day with 124fiatbuff.
Saw some fellow cachers up ahead before we got to the spot so went to find Little Squirt first. Great camo...this is a clever one!

What a great hide... I am really impressed.
I was sitting next to the cache for 5 minutes before I saw this one for what it was....
I think it was eventful that I saw at Little Squirt now that I read the log here... Should come up and introduced yourselves!! I don't bite much!
Thanks for the cache, I enjoyed this one (one of my favourite hides!

This one had us puzzled for a while, but a bit more log reading helped us out in the end. What a fantastic hide this is - one of the cleverest we have seen. There is no pencil in the cache so bring your own writing implement. TNLNSL thanks findalot.
Very clever hide. Also very tame magpie present when we were searching who viewed all proceedings with curiosity. Thanks, A&C
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 11:50am. This was the 2nd time that I have looked for this one. What a sneaky way to hide a cache. Well done. TNLNSL TFTC.
What a sneaky little hide. A tricky container but once you see it you would have to be a "drip" to miss it.

I found the coordinates about 15m off, but when I read the description, the actual location became apparent and managed to find it quite easily once some logic was applied to the observation.
Thanks for the cache.

The GPS insisted that it was on the oval, didn't think I should start digging. Could find anything on the nearby buildings, and I didn't have the clues with me. Oh well, another DNF. Maybe another day.

Probably our favourite for the day. Very well thought out hiding place. Our friend Bob was impressed with the creativeness of the cache. Thanks findalot
This is the first cache actually found by Vin. Kids and wife have found previous ones. Well thought out. Thanks.
Steve must have been in the zone this morning - he found it within seconds of arriving at GZ. Good thing too as it is a very clever hide that could have taken some searching...
No swaps today.
Thanks for this one - we loved the cache.

The pencil is missing, so bring your own.
The log will soon be full, so just turn the paper over.
