Another one we passed on due to high muggle traffic on our last go round, but today we came up with the goods. I guess it helps as we've used this style of hide as well
SL TFTC - not even a path tag could be left in here
nice to meet you guys at lunch.

After another failed attempt at finding anything at the start of Magnetic Mystery Tour, we decided to check on this cache and discover the coin that is supposed to be in here.
There is no coin in the cache, it'd have to be very small to actually get it through the neck of the bottle anyway.
Cache is all well and good.

Accompanied with Lilysu&Boxer, we found it - excellent hide spot - I didnt see number 343 but Lilysu spotted it. We enjoyed walk around the Wallaroo. Thanks JJ for organising the cache and hunt.
Found with Everlasting. She found the cache. I found the number as we were leaving. Now that's team work!
Clever hide. Thanks for the challenge. Boxer's been wanting to do this for a while and so I'm not telling him where it is - don't want to spoil his fun! (He found it).

It was spotting rain and quite windy but we enjoyed our bracing walk out to the cache. Made a fairly quick find to our relief as other micros we looked for later in the day were a different story. Thanks J & J
Found by Mary & David at 1140. Had to brave the howling northerly gale as we set out along the pier. At least it kept the muggles at bay. Took a while as we explored several possible locations. We took one last look at the first location we had explored and spotted something a bit different. Further investigation revealed the cache. Nicely done. Our thanks again to J & J.
2 1/2 years after the last DNF and a new hide type and all was good..after a while. Must read logs more often.
Found with Zytheran and the MiniZyths, in the first place we looked.... unfortunately we didn't look hard enough and looked in plenty of other places after that before reading the logs and realising we were right the first time. Nice sunset from here tonight.

A quick find. It was too wet and windy for muggles so we had the place to ourselves. I spotted the obvious difference and then spotted the clue after signing the log and replacing the cache.

Started heading along the jetty & went to turn the GPSr on only to find the batteries were flat & we didn't have time to charge them because we had to get to Marion Bay [:(!]
Dropped by today to check on the cache. It's still in it's concealment as it should be. The number 343 should tell you if you are in the right spot. Used our sturdy PO Box key to get to the cache.
We were also lucky today to watch the One and All depart from the jetty. What a wonderful ship it is!

I was up and down the structure, to hell with the muggles, they weren't that interested in me anyway. It didn't do me any good.
A bit difficult with so many muggles about on this beautiful day. How I wished I could have gone for a swim, but I still have 1774 unfound caches in SA, so have to get moving.
Got to where GPS was indicating, but on this glorious Sunday, there were far too many muggles close by to even think about investigating further.
As I was doing a cache nearby I thought to myself what are the chances of me finding this cache [?] it has been on my list forever and I don't seem to have any luck in finding it was not under any Peer Pressure so I left this cache for another day
Pretty sure we knew where the cache was when we looked for it, and reading the logs yielded a few more clues, but there was no way we could use our implements with nosey muggles shooting curious glances at us! Warm weather brings 'em out, I suppose! Will check next time I'm passing through Wallaroo.
Tricky hide - we have one similar to this near the Blue Mountains. Had some fish and chips for lunch and watched the ferry come in. Beautiful day - calm and blue. thanks J_&_J
Found by Barry and Beryl at 12.25 pm
Easy find Cold and windy day so no muggles to hamper us
Thanks for the cache J& J

Second attempt at this one had the right spot the first time but didn't go the extra bit with it. Great hide. TFTC
Absolutely brilliant.....had it the first time only didn't put enough effort into it..!! Tks guys
Checked cache today and all is well. Accessed the hide after using a key as a lever.
Nice hide. Had to call for help to confirm its location, as I had trouble accessing it. Some muggles about but none that were interested in our activities. Good one J&J, cheers
As we drove past here I said no way am I going on that jetty, it was blowing hard and I did not see one person on there
I will return when the wind dies down

Had a look for this one before. Much better luck today after I could finally get to it.
Found this with 4 nephews today and one brother in law who sort of took credit for the find. Thanks.
Cache is alive and well, checked in on it today. Please ignore the photos, they are not relevant to the hide location. The hiding spot is starting to blend in well with it's surroundings, but is still easy to access. Better luck next time Skippy.
Going from the Photo we were no were near that location, I was here twice before but first to this location , some could get this as a second find being so faraway from the original location
Looks like I'll have to return again if I want to nail this one

Relatively fast find. Great hide. Found in the dark, which made it easier!!! Brought daughter, Emma, who found this a couple of days ago with DeltaEcho and Psalm 118. She was sworn to silence so as not to spoil the hunt.

Great to see this one back online again!! We have been waiting for a while to have a crack at this one.

Back on deck. The cache is now further along the jetty than before, and hidden in a completely different way.

This cache would have been online a week or so ago but it didn't fit it's new hidey hole. With having to move house over the break there is no prospect of replacing this cache for a while yet.
Took the new container out to the jetty this morning but found that it was just a bit too large for our new hidey hole. Will find a slightly smaller container and place it very soon.
Old container has been removed. Surprisingly it took us a while to find it. [8)] Will return soon with some tools to hide the new container.
Just putting the finnishing touces on a new container that is to be hidden in a whole different way to the existing cache. The original has not been removed as yet, just waiting for the end of school holidays before placing the revamped container.
Found it while trying to point out the imaginary schools of fish in the water. Logbook all wet and needs replacing.

This was a dnf for us too. looked in some likely spots but to no avail. Really pretty spot and location. Fishing looks like it would be good too.
This was a good hide, a great spot, but unfortunately we couldn't find it. Even the clue didn't help.
Might be worth a check, three of us looked separately and together.
Enjoyed this one anyway, thanks.

Enjoyed the walk along the jetty but even with the help of experienced cachers ULP we finally had to give up & return to collect the remains of our Fathers Day lunch & return home. Maybe we need to look a little further afield on reading logs of the sheet we did not have with us!
I have fond memories of sitting on this jetty fishing in my early teens. Didn't catch many fish but did get some terrible cases of sunburn
A quick find on a blustery day today.
Cheers, TFTMemories

Lots and lots of muggles around who just wouldn't give me a break! Made a couple of quick grabs in the obvious spots but to no avail. In the end I had to give up - will need to come back either early or late in the day to find this one.
Luckily it was a much cooler, windy day, otherwise we would have had to come back after dark!
Should have been going to bed as had to be at wharf at 5.15am in the morning to catch the ferry........ but we had the torch........so why not. It was a beautiful evening and nothing like a short stroll to send help one sleep well! As postie girl06 said, had to be very busy spotting crabs and fish in the water with the torch! Having the co-ords for this in the GPSr was great when returning from the other side on the ferry - we could see how far we had to go, how fast we were going and what speed the boat travelled at! If anyone is interested, it was about 30kph (don't know what that is in knots!) There was someone else walking around with a GPSr doing the same thing - wasn't game to ask if he was a cacher! TFTC
116 Easy last find of the night with matmob.
matmob was spotting crabs with the torch too!
Top Spot for swimming and fishing!

We needed some stealth to dodge the muggles. Found it after ten minutes of playing cat and mouse. A great cache.
The GPS pointed us to a position about 3m away from actual GZ, which can be a long way when you are on a Jetty!
Regardless, we deduced where is should be and GeoKid J found it while we stood around creating a distraction.
Since it is too small for swaps, we all rang the little bell inside, signed the log and then put it back.
Vacation Swimming was in full swing, so GeoKid J snuck it back in place while the rest of us pointed animatedly at the fish below.

Looked and felt. Felt and looked. Looked stupid. Felt stupid.
Suddenly I had an idea. Sex on the beach? Naw. Lets keep caching.
Ahha there it was. Did I put it back correctly. Not sure. It all looks the same. Felt right too.

Very windy day here today so no problems with onlookers.
However after 20 minutes of gymnastics and dodging pigeon poop we gave up.

Used to be involved in shipping in this location. Pulled into grain recieving area and got rude looks from the staff. Pulled out and headed to Jetty. Did the search and having read logs, only spent a while on the drop down platform before giving up. Racey knew where to look. Nice area good hide.

Twice today we have managed to go straight to a cache that has been noted as difficult by other cachers. Must be our lucky day. Sometimes you can and sometimes you can't. Must have missed kggy by THAT much! Got lunch from the bakery and ate it before having a lie down. Thanks J&J
Bit windy for fishing today so muggle factor low. Found no worries signed log and off to Bakery for scrumptious swiss roll. Thx J&J
Found this one pretty easily before setting off for the wallaroo subdivision... Of course, the GPSr had me a few meters short, so as I was swinging underneath the pier, and on the platform, I couldn't help but think, no way could it be here! 10 minutes later, and the grand idea of looking a little further down befalled me. surprise, surprise... Found it!
Film Canister is still in place. Lots of muggles fishing and crabbing and squidding today.
Mrs Ermalesh and I went straight to the right spot, yelled we found it to Mr Ermalesh who was looking on the other side. Turns out we found a decoy or was it rubbish, Mr Ermi comes over and finds it 1m from where we are, bugga!
Found 14:30. 2nd of 3 FFTD as we spend the afternoon caching. As Mrs E and Mrs S from the Pack of Sullies spent there time removing rubbish from the pier I found the cache easily . We almost didn't come to this cache due to the high DNF rate that has befallen it (I think it's very well hidden, I was just luck!), and we thought we might suffer some 'Pier Pressure' and not find it. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Looked for about 15 minutes, we had 2 other cachers giving us a hand too, but didn't comeup with anything.
Thanks anyway
Thanks anyway
Cache container was still there . Hope it lasts. So windy today, that if I'd jumped off, I would have landed back approximately 2m from GZ, with a sore bum! (ie back on the Jetty!!)
clear skies, TeamAstro.
Decided to check out our cache as we were not feeling confident with the recent high winds and it's precarious hiding spot. Low and behold the canister was no-where to be seen. We are glad Gum-Ako got to find the original, but we have had to replace the container already. Same coordinates, but cache is now hidden better, it will now have to be "felt" for. Hopefully the strong winds this region is known for will leave the cache alone. Don't worry Gum-Ako, we added your name to the top of the log where it belongs.
FTF honours claimed by MWFA masked by the rest of the Gum-Ako team and friend kidlet Blue Gum. Impossible to find - then the GPS settled and right on target.
Thanks for the cache and the bracing walk!
