Tftc . Some difficulty to access the Forest but after it was very great to discover the place.
This was cache # 17 of 23 for the day, on a great day out caching around the hills. A nice walk in the company of Fangsoki to find the cache. My thanks to vwnuts for the cache.
Was part of my 5cache 25 klicks bicycle tour!

575 - Another one in the M2M series we have completed this afternoon at 3:24pm. A great hide vwnuts, thanks again for the series. As I was signing the log a muggle came walking past with his dog, so we made it look like I was making notes about the photos we had taken of the area.
Tackled this one while in the area doing other caches. Took me a bit to find this one due to GPSr bounce - but I came up with the goods after a small hunt. A good bit of history on that sign that should not be forgotten.. TFTC vwnuts
Thanks, I thought this was a lot further up and in than it was, nice find today, and a lovely bush walk. IN: Enterprise Spaceship toy and slinky I was hoping to put in the "Inflation" cache, but couldn't find it today. OUT: nothing.
NO PENCIL TO SIGN THE CACHE - sorry I must remember to take one with me.

Followed the trail from Camp Mountain Ghost Train. Pagan was the first to spot this one. TFTC vwnuts
After hunting the Derailed cache, I made my way in from the end of McLean Rd South and enter the walking tracks... That gave me a central path to grab all four caches in this pocket of bushland... [^]
After heading up the hill, I found this in a very neat hidey hole and all safe and well...
Cheers VWNuts.

While walking along the old permanent way (apparently not so permanent) it was sobering to reflect on the happenings of labour day weekend in 1947. What a pity the rail line is not again extended to Samford and thus keep hendreds of cars off the road each day.
An easy find. TNLN TFTC, VWnuts.

Geodad pushed the geopram up this hill, so yes it is stroller accessible

Lots of Muggles on bikes riding past the junction here today. Thankfully, no muggles on the track... must have been the hill that scared them!

Find 5 of 20 on a caching expedition with geojez. We found this one quite easily - geojez spotted it right away - TNLN, TFTC.
A nice easy find toward the end of my day walking the bush tracks. TFTC and thanks for bringing us here
I found the cache and read the sign down the track - an interesting and tragic bit of history. TNLN. TFTC vwnuts.
In this area this afternoon doing a few caches, enjoyable ride around on the Bed-cycle. Found it Ok. TFTC.
I thought that "M2M" bit in the name was familiar. This must be about the most western one of this series. Found it after a bit of slip sliding, but at least the rain had stopped. TN/LN/SL
odd that the sign has gone - the rail line looks like a lovely opportunity for rail trail or similar. A nice find at the end of my geo-jog this morning.
A bit steep but we got there at 1:55. Unfortunately the Mountains to Mangroves sign at your suggested resting place at S27 24.085 E152 54.346 has gone but it is still worth having a look there. You never know what you might find!
We noticed the ups from some distance so this cache was easy to find. Thanks vwnuts. TNLN
Had an hour to kill while kid #2 had a dancing lesson so what else to do but go caching! We had just enough time to find this and another one nearby.

Dropped the Big Sucker off and picked it up again to log some miles on it.
Had a nice walk to this one.
Took a Matchbox Car.
There was already an officer in the cache (probably lost!), so I left an enlisted man (to babysit!).

Found at 1057 with Marg and Lincon. Cache found quickly and was safe and well. This was 1 of 3 we attempted and found in this area of the reserve.
Going back into caches I have found in the past and "visiting" a personal TB to give a total km travelled in our time caching.
I took a friend along to introduce him to geocaching unfortunately this one was uncovered and stood out like the proverbial! I rehid it before leaving.

All's well that ends well. A good quick find today at about 16:00 but the cache container definitely wasn't there at my last visit [maybe muggles?]. IN: Boomerang keyring OUT: LED torch. Cache and contents safe and dry. SL. Thanks vwnuts for the cache.
A pleasant walk down the old rail line track. We have been here before for other caches and enjoyed the walk to this one. A nice quick find, cache in good condition. Took and left nothing. Thanks for the cache. Andrew and Maryan.
Couldn't find this one but I had fun trying. After walking in circles and looking and looking I had an Aha! moment but the cupboard there was bare. It's always a great walk, or cycle, so I'll try again when next I'm in the area. Cheers, PesceVerde.
#9 of 9 finds in Wingaapville and beyond on my third night in Brisbane. I found this one at 2130. Yet another M2M cache log for the Emu Mob. By my reckoning, I have only two to go in the series: "Mountain Refugees" and "A Tree With Many Gifts". I had just logged "Bushranger #2", so I continued on to log this one also. I never did see the sign, but I did see the cache. It is difficult to hide it completely, but I think I managed to do a reasonable job of it. I made no exchange. Thanks to vwnuts for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Find #3 of 4 for today with geodad. Found the cache quite easily, could see it from the road. TFTC.
Quick after work jog thru the bush to pick up this cache and another close by. May have spotted another team of cachers..?? TFTH
its a nice walk or ride to this spot, take your water because there's none out there..
Found this one while clearing out this patch of bush! The Mountains to Mangrove sign is gone... now just a small part of the bottom of the post shows where it was. Nice hide. Thanks.
found this one with Water Rat, a quick easy find, a nice area, picked up another couple on the way back, it seems we're in the Posspet boys shadow every where we go today, thanks for the cache Nuts
We wandered up the hill from Ghost Train to collect this one. Pleasant bit of bush through here, plenty of birds today, only one mountain bike and that was right back at the car.
Found the cache easily. Cache is in good condition. We took a bracelet and left a ball. Thanks for the cache!

Found tucked away safe and well. Continued around the track and was glad I'd inadvertently taken the easier route as the knees were beginning to complain about all the hills I'd climbed today. TFTC
Another success on a good day for us - we approcahed from the right direction and had no trouble spotting where the cache would be. Dropped TB. TFTC! ='.'=
Found @ 1:53pm
This was Little Miss's (2&1/4) first cache entirely under her own steam. (At least, she walked all the way here there was some daddy pack horsing involved in the rest of the afternoon's stroll.) This seemed a very apt cache to be her first as just down the trail "Camp Mountain Ghost Train" was the first cache geowife and I did by ourselves. It also turns out that it is exactly 60 years ago today that the rail disaster occured.
Little Miss took some water ballons so we left some carabina style clips. Thanks for the cache vwnuts.

15:37 Found after Camp Mountain Ghost Train cache which is not far away. GPSr was jumpy here, but after some careful inspection of the area, the cache revealed itself to us.
Nicely stocked. Took the cutest mini pliers ever! Left a teddy bear keyring and vial of life. Thanks for another in the series vwnuts.

Had been raining all day so hardly anyone out & about - nice easy walk in lovely location.
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 10:12am. An easy walk on from Ghost Train for this one. This is the 2nd time I have looked for this cache but last time I can in and over from the Samford side. This time I came from the Ferny Grove side and I could see where the cache would be as I walked along the track. In: rose candle Out: green hiliter TFTC
Came in from the Camp Mountain side (via The Ghost Train Cache) and then back to the car over the hill... good heart exercise!
Last one for the day, and an easy find after a nice walk. This is a great area to go walking with dogs. Thanks for the cache.
Headed in from the Samford side of the forest to nab this offering in the M2M series. 'Tis and enjoyable stroll through this area. Met some equestrian muggles along the way
If your heading back to the Samford side, check out the spot next to the road at S27 23.840E152 53.757 ...

The GPS was a bit out for a while with the tree cover and we walked past the hiding spot twice before finding it.
The area is all freshly burnt and today quite wet. Looks significantly different to when I was last out here for the nearby cache.
The cache was in good condition.

A nice stroll through an area that i haven't been to for ages... well, 11 months actually.
The area was recently burnt out and as a result is coming alive again - it was a really nice place to be early this morning.
No swaps on this occasion.

08:22hrs A nice little stroll. I hadn't been through since the backburning, looks like a little grading has been done as well. TFTC. TNLN.
This makes a nice little loop up this way and back around to the car.
Had to spend a bit of time looking at trees as there were a couple of muggle dogs and their owners pacing around

A great area this. We walked past the M2M sign and had a read of it again before heading on to GZ and arriving there at 14:22.
The GPS was pointing us all over the place but one of the kids came up with the goods after just a few minutes.
We took a padlock and put in a lanyard, puzzle and wristband. TFTC!
