With our trusty whip in hand we dodged the flying darts, outran the boulder and signed the cache before the pesky car park inspectors could arrive. Even remembered to get out hat. TFTC.
Checked in and it's exactly where it's supposed to be. The area has really sprouted some undergrowth but the hiding spot is not overgrown, the cache is nice and snug at ground level.
On a afternoon walk we came to this beautiful beach. But Cache owner I would recommend you go check this cache is still there as it has not been found for almost 3 months. Well be back
We came to Ricketts Point for Mothers Day - I know the modern trend is for no apostrophes but I still like to throw them around - and this oldie wasnt too far away. And didnt take too long to find either, once the trees GPS interference settled. Thanks BackPAQer for keeping it going.
Wow! The cache was rocking my expectations! Found this cache after my 10 year old son had his last day of nippers for the year, followed by a nice day at the beach! We have drove past it many times before we even found out about geocaching!
Couldnt find sadly, because I didnt have much time and lots of pieces of rubbish
There were no lost carparks here today but many raiders! It was crazier than a 100 new geocaches landing with everyone trying for a FTF!Car parking was worse than Christmas eve at Chadstone! Felt like I was being stalked as I was walking to GZ. Also had backing out of park stand off with a Tesla driver who though I could miraculously turn my SVU on a pin when all he had to do was back up. Put my Japanese zen on (driving in Japan this year was so calm) and waited. He eventually got it that he would have to back up or he would not have a park. ****Finding the cache:****Funny how we only see that which we look for despite coords being bang on. Cache NOT a regular size at all! Read back on previous logs to get a grounding. thank you to those cachers for logging notes. I really think **size** needs to be altered on page rather than just reading at the end of cache details. A lovely day out with Ronice88 after LetThemEatCache's event this morning.TFTC BackPAQerregardskbucky
Up in Melbourne for an event that was postponed, but seeing were here I might as well find a cache or two! The car park was almost empty despite it being a very hot and blustery afternoon. I suppose it being Friday afternoon made a difference. The finding device indicated I needed to be in the midst of the seemingly impenetrable vegetation, but I thought I saw a path through there- so I went around the back and found a track which took me within easy reach of GZ. After poking around for a while I uncovered a much smaller cache than the cache page indicated. All was in good condition.
I thought I'd be clever and come mid morning on a weekday but of course there was a school down here and a family! Managed to approach from the other side where it was quieter and was in and out quickly. TFTC!
So this one took a bit longer than the others we found today mainly because the listing that this cache is a "regular" size had me searching for a container that is actually a regular size!! But of course this is not the case and after searching through all the bushes and checking anything that looked like it could be camo we still couldn't find it so I paid a bit more attention to my gps which luckily had me searching in the right spot before I finally spotted the out of place container. Then as I was replacing the cache I noticed a muggle watching me from the path nearby with his phone in his hand so as I headed back to the path I smiled and asked if he was doing the same thing I was doing which he replied "why, what are you doing?" So I explained I was geocaching and he seemed interested but it just felt a little odd like he thought I was doing something dodgy plus he had his phone out and was taking photos of the area... so yeah just a little creepy! But I made sure the cache was well covered so I doubt any muggle would be able to tell what it was so shouldn't be an issue! TFTC!
With echidna44. Trust us to access via the hard way... Short search and we made the find. TFTC
A beautiful sunny day, perfect for caching in the Beaumaris area with pinnacle333.
We entered the hard way, left via the easy way. Well hidden, thanks BackPAQer.

I could have said I was doing maintenance...but I would be lying, but it is a damn fine spot to launch a kayak from!!
Hooray! A chance to grab some caches today. Had breakfast at Ricketts Point Cafe for a family birthday and now on the hunt for some in the area, much better weather than yesterday!
You have to do some crouching to find this one, search for something out of the ordinary that there's only one of
We had 9 people looking for it in the twilight but it appears that it was missing from its original hiding place :/
Today off for an early morning walk, I selected Beaumaris area and this was the targeted cache. I arrived about 6 am, with the sun still below the horizon and the only people around was the odd walker/running and lots of bike riders.
Surprised by the amount of cars already parked here, so I walked around the back of the bushes rather than walk thru them. Took a few minutes but then discovered it well hidden.
Thanks for the cache Back PAQer

Thanks for putting this cache here. Luckily there was not too many muggles around today
After attending a CITO in Geelong, we headed into The Swedish Furniture shop to pick up a few items for the home renovation and, of course, some delicious Swedish meatballs.
We decided to take the Mornington Peninsula route home, catch the last ferry across to Queenscliff, and cache our way there.
We haven't done much caching on the Mornington Peninsula and want to rectify this.
The weather was not the greatest. It was cold and rainy, but fortunately no wind.
We pulled up to a vacant car park and headed out to find the cache.
The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache BackPAQer.

The gps was jumping around a bit but the hint helped us find the right spot. Good camouflage!
I to went in the wrong way originally but eventually found an opening and my favourite type of cache container. Tftc!!

Pi Day!
An early start to a public holiday inevitably leads to post event shenanigans.
When n0w0rries dropped me back where I'd left the car, we'd walked a pier, climbed to a couple of smileys and done some maintenance on a venerable cache in need of a little TLC. But I still felt like a walk before heading home.
So, off down the Bay Trail.
This was the southernmost find on my walk down the trail this afternoon. I found the right place to search, but missed the prize on the first pass. A little bit of reading gave me a better idea of what I should be looking out for (smaller, but more recognisable than originally expected), and I was happy to turn a rocky start into a well earned find.
Cheers, BackPAQer

Some after work hump-day caching with RoamingHowie, targetting a couple of bayside LGAs.
Almost a png... Almost! After crawling around in all the obvious locations, RH finally spotted it.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, BackPAQer

I needed to take a break from the last couple of days of planning so I teamed up with OzHockeyChick for some post work caching.
It is a lost car park indeed. The car park ends here… oh no it doesn’t…. Now… nope… how about here…. Yep finally it ended. We began the search in a likely spot but nothing appeared. The GPS was suggesting just a little further. And sure enough an opening revealed a new search location and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks BackPAQer for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Find #2723 for me. Found at 2:57 pm with my friend virbull and dog Bonnie. We didn't find this one immediately as we were looking for a larger container, but then I spotted something familiar, and sure enough, there it was! Thanks for bringing us here today BackPAQer and thanks for the cache!
Found, and it was a Friday so we risked getting a parking ticket. Parking is pricey in this area and. An make geocaching pretty costly. All good thoug and we escaped without getting a ticket. I imagine this gets super busy on the weekend…… TFTC.
After a bungled attempt to find we returned and found the cache immediately! Thanks to the extra hint from backPAQer. TFTC
Went and checked on the cache. It's still there and while it is quite a simple find it completely depends what "angle" you come at it from. Grass is getting longer, this may make it harder too.

Heymissjo and I were touring the Bayside area today, with a view to picking up some key Jasmer squares and a passed Premier..
Despite the brilliant, sunny weather, which drew crowds to the beach, we miraculously scored the most ideal parking spot possible! A constant trickle of muggles wandered out into the carpark from behind the life-saving clubrooms - probably having spent the afternoon on the broader sandy beaches south of here.
As I assessed the muggle factor, I casually wandered over to check out the sea. The bay had the flattest water I've ever seen, which would explain the number of muggles carrying kayaks.
I returned to Heymissjo and we strolled over to GZ. Typically, I went straight past the cache but HMJ found it in a jiffy. It was just a shame that neither of us had a pen, so I had to return to the car for one. Luckily we had the closest carpark to GZ, so it wasn't very far to go back for it.
Though we weren't far from the stream of passing muggles leaving the beach, the vegetation here provided ample shielding.
Thanks so much for placing and maintaining this cache, BackPAQer. All is well here.

Despite the crowds descending to the beach nearby, The Welder and I were super lucky to get a car park right at the start of the geo trail. Once at gz, a familiar cache container was spotted and log signed. Another Jasmer square ticked off today. All is well with the cache today.

Found it after much deliberation. Great little hide, once found. Signed with black mascara smudge. TFTC!
Just as I'm about to leave I spot it. It's still there, just a smidge of cache creep.
Seems like this one might have gone and it's about 500m outside my 5km radius...so maintenance is going to have to wait.
At this present time, we are being asked to stay at home and only leave for some very basic necessities. If this geocache is local to you and you are out getting some mental health, exercise and fresh air, then good luck and enjoy. But please consider others, exercise good hygiene and if you don't feel 100% - rest up and stay home and we'll see you on the other side.
This was a fun cache to find! Loved the green serene path through the Australian natives!
Great spot! It took us about 20 minutes to find it. That's our favourite geocache yet! Thanks!!
We searched for about half an hour and I have a very gutted 9 year old as we had to give up searxhing when we lost light. Wish there were more clues as the shrub is pretty dense and despite looking high and low it was nowhere to be found.
It was waterlogged because the waterproof seal had fallen out at some point. I've replaced the entire container with a slightly smaller container hidden better (it was just sitting on the ground with no attempt at camouflage).
