I think I saw where it could have been but there were overgrown weeds and spiders so I didn’t look there
Spent a good 20mins searching but couldn’t find it and wasn’t hopefully considering the last fine was 6 months ago. Found 2 bongs though
Thank you so much!!! It’s such a nice reserve and so close I my house and I can’t believe I’ve never come here before.
Feel like it’s not a reserve and someone’s grown over garden, couldn’t find though might have been me not wanting to venture into overgrown snake territory eek I’m enjoying the view
A guy working on his car tried helping us find the cache when we were about to leave giving us tips on where he has seen last people searching. Sadly we still couldn’t find it
Felt uncomfortable here as darkness approached with homeowner working on his vehicle. All good, was out as one could possibly go, thanks bonaccordians

TFTC a quick find along our journey. The area has been cleared the cache was in the open. We placed it near a tree. Log Wet.
On the day that they buried Malcolm Young, what I would say is "Its a long way to the top of Vinegar Hill".
Seriously, I was on my feet today and it was a long way up the hill. But once I got to the reserve, the cache was readily found. TFTC.

Got there in the end. Took a bit of searching in the dark but made the find! Logbook wet but managed to scribble our names on. Tftc.
Tftc. Looked once, looked twice, sat on chair to read some logs, looked for a logical spot and found on the third go.
Found with Jaybeem on a day out caching. After a short search around GZ Mr Jaybeem had CIH. TFTC!
Looked under all the fruit trees, bushes where the coordinates told us to go and everywhere else! Nothing at all, except a lot of spiders. Nice spot, though.
Well that was a challenge. It was in the first place I looked. I just didn't see it. I looked in the same place a few weeks ago (but it was dusk and I'm sticking to that excuse).
Searched all round far and near. Then gave the most logical place one more go before giving up - and there it was.

I looked at the base of every tree, fruit edible or not, in a reasonable distance and found nothing.
Took a slight diversion on my way to work today to have a look at a couple of caches, an oldie and a newie, in the Eastern Suburbs. This was the 2nd of 2 finds for the morning.
After finding "Rushcutters Bay" (the "newie") this "oldie" was to be my next, and last, cache stop for the morning. It's been well over 4 months since I DNFed this one, so thought it was about time for another visit. Parked the geomobile at the end of Sheldon Place, then wandered over into David Joel Reserve to try my luck once again.
On my previous visit I was confused by the hint, as I was unable to find any "edible fruit trees" anywhere near GZ, and today I was just as confused. Decided to ignore the hint and just do a general search of the area, starting at the published coords and then working my way outward until I (hopefully) found something.
And the strategy soon paid off when I finally uncovered the hide and had CIH, still with absolutely no idea where the "edible fruit tree" is suppose to be. Anyway I'm just pleased to finally have a smiley on the geomap for this one. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC bonaccordians.

I'm no botanist but I don't think those are the fruit trees you think they are. Found and logged. Sneaky little park
Took a slight diversion from my usual route to work today to pick up a few caches around the Bellevue Hill area. This was my second stop, and sadly it was also my second DNF. Spent a while looking around GZ, but was confused as I couldn't see any "edible fruit tree", other than the Lilli pillis', anywhere near GZ. What am I missing here?
There wasn't any fruit today, maybe the barking dog who didn't like my company, had eaten it all. TFTC bonaccordians.
Barking dog aside, this was a pleasant and peaceful park to visit. I was quite taken aback by how lush and overgrown the vegetation was, which made the hunt a little more challenging than it would otherwise be. I'm glad I paid a visit to this seemingly forgotten sanctuary. Apologies for the late log. TFTC bonaccordians
So for me - this is what caching is all about. Finding the most random hidden parts of Sydney that only a local would know about. After the heart attack of walking up Preston Avenue (I tried to run but couldn't) I couldn't see an entry to the park. And then between two houses appeared an overgrown track. What the hey... And it led me to the cache! Turns out there is a more sensible way in. A great place to stop and catch my breath. I couldn't sign the log as it was a bit damp and I only had a pencil so took a photo. Hope that suffices. Adding this cache to my favourite list
Another nice easy find in a great little out of the way park you would never otherwise know was there
Nice reserve a bit small. Reckon that with a little trim to the trees probably would open a nice view on Sydney CBD skyline.
For today I wanted to visit some caches. After studying the GC map I decided to go to Edgecliff and Darling point.
As it was a Sunday and the weather was nice I expected I would not be able to search for all the caches I wanted to visit. Because at some places I expected to many muggles.
I left my apartment just before 12am to cache the train from Martin place to Edgecliff.
Because I finished my search earlier then expected and with less founds than I hoped for I decided to extent my search.
At the end of the day I had found 9 caches. 2 caches I could not find. And 4 or 5 I had to skip due to muggles.
The question with this one was how to get there.
I noticed a walkway going up and decided to take this route. The next question was should I go left or right.
I choose for left and the I saw a road which, according my GPS was straight but in real was turning to the right. This road took me to GZ.
After a few minutes I found the cache container and was able to write our team name in the logbook. Which is a little bit wet
Thanks for this one.

Tricky working your way through the streets around here in a car, much easier in that once a year run. Finally found somewhere to park on the street above GZ. Great view from here. Pity the trees are so large they probably block the view.
Didn't need the GPS as the hint was obvious to me as we used to have one in the back yard when I was a kid.
Sat on the nearby seat to SL. Visited some TBs.

GPS jumped around quite a lot, and for a long time it wanted me to jump a fence into someone's backyard. Luckily I just tried ever potential variant of the hint and got lucky in the end. GPS was about 6m off when I finally found it. I let it dry for a bit and the signed log before placing it back. Tftc!
Yep it's still there, athough it seems to be permanently damp. Helped mp-tp find it
Possible it's still there but we had to leave because we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Going straight to the supermarket to by repellent for future caching! Will come back here again one day
Quite coincidental that we actually meet you earlier in the day in the domain. The momerial for the fallen police officers. Nice to meet you and thanks for the cache
Had to resort to the hint as my phone was jumping all over the place and wouldn't settle. Cute grove, sorta place you'd have your first kiss. TFTC
I look and look but my GPS was throwing me everywhere then I was attack by over dozen mozzies so I was out of there. Just because I did not find it does not mean it is not there. Next time.
With Solving4X. GPS was a bit wonky in the grove, but we followed the hint and didn't get stumped. Or...did we?? Logbook was a little soggy but writing was okay. This place should be renamed to "Mossie Park!"
Cache is there I am sure and I saw fruit, before I was chased away by territorial mozzies. Edible fruits grow in little cups of coloured paper, right? So the hint was a little too cryptic for me. I'll be back.
with Dino and Pebbles searched at the right object first but gave up too quickly, eventually came back to it after no where else turned up anything. TFTC
Zusammen mit Pebbles and Fred gefunden. Hier haben wir erst den richtigen Richer gehabt, aber Fred wollte nicht hoeren da haben wir es uns bequem gemacht und zum Schluss hatten wir doch recht. TFTC bonaccordians.
Cache was a little musty but still in OK condition. Nice to see an old one still about. Tftc tnln
#2511 (2 of 2 today) (Streak day 216)
Spent the afternoon at the SCG watching both the women and men battle it out in The Big Bash cricket. The Sydney 6ers won both games. The men thrashed their opponents, the women's game was a nail-biter.
After the men's game there was enough light for two finds nearby.

Well, this one took quite a while to uncover.
I tried a few spots, then started spreading out as nothing was uncovered.
Finally went for the hint - hadn't got that far from where the iPhone was pointing...
Started again in a new spot, and went around and around, peering in lots of nooks and crannies. Finally spotted something different and was able to make the grab.
Took to the bench to complete signing duties. Log damp but signable.
Grabbed the thrill seeker TB.
Great view of the city skyline on the walk to the park.

Great little hidden park in suburbia, although very popular with mosquitoes! I almost gave up on this one but a determined investigation of the most obvious hint-matching object revealed a suspicious flash of colour and soon the cache was in hand. Contents are currently mostly dry but have obviously been very wet recently. The newer log is usable though. Left a TB. TFTC!
the stump was abandoned long ago! ... see hint.. this tree is living... I will check soon in any case
Here for the day from Liverpool looked for ages can't find it need to move into the next one
Owl was in Sydney for a conference. Having been dropped off an hour early, she was able to find a cache or two. Her GPS is useless in Sydney, but some careful thinking (and a process of elimination) got her the cache anyway. A nice little suburban park.
Little used maybe, but any park is a good park. I'm with ADI and cachem8 on the edibility issue. The container was waterlogged, I drained it but couldn't dry the log, so wrote on a strip off a business card. Needs a new logbook in a clip lock bag.
Found it. Very wet log - too wet to sign. Not sure about the clue. There is an edible fruit tree and a tree that looks like one.
after impaling myself in the foot on my way in, being attacked by mosquitos and by prickly things at what I thought was GZ, came up empty. I think this park needs a little cleanup after the recent storms, and I don't recommend making an entrance through Ginahgulla Rd for the moment. nice little hideaway though.
Found early afternoon after working nearby. I did have a quick look for this one about twelve months ago but had no joy back then. A little easier today. I wonder if there used to be a view of the city before the trees grew up. Many thanks bonaccordians
found container in wrong spot. Now it is as it should be, the hint is correct.
A qaepag but omg mozzies ate my feet! Ew ew ew!
Nice park. I'd argue about the hint though!
Anyway tftc

It's great that geocaching almost always takes me to some gorgeous, hidden spot that I would have never discovered otherwise. TFTC
Found it! We thought it was one tree but it was the other one of the same type!!!
This one took ages to turn up, and a possible red herring didn't help...Simply hidden yet so hard to spot!
We decided to go on a road trip today to visit some friends in Sydney. We had a bit of time to spare so we decided to head to Watsons Bay to collect some caches and get some fish and chips on the harbour.
We had a bit of a search at this one, the GPS took its time under the tree cover. Pretty cook views along the way.

Shouldn't have taken as long as it did. We're looking all around it. Thanks for the clue!
Looked & looked, followed clues but did not find? Will return another day. A cute little Park with a mandarin tree at the entrance dripping with mini mandarins.
Got this one after a nice inner suburban stroll.
