A nice stroll around the wetland reserve just on dusk. The info was easily found at each waypoint. TFTC Kiama Krew
Very nice multi. Was a bit worried some WP would me missing but luckily all was there. Like the previous finders we did find a coordinate for an alternate game but we ignored it and found the correct ones. So we went to GZ following the waypoints, one of which we had to backtrack a bit. Once at GZ thanks to the clue we made a quick find. All good here. A great multi. TFTC
#1569 This is a bloody brilliant multi! It’s something different to what we’re used to and that’s just the beauty of it.
Turtle and I were planning on finding another multi today but after some plans changed we decided to head here instead. We actually got a bit confused at WP1 for a little bit after we found a convincing piece of info in the form of coordinates but these must be for another game. Looking back at the hints we then kept searching and found something much more accurate and matching the hint. Now we were off!
After working our way through to GZ we were unfortunately met by a council worker taking his time with a pair of secateurs on a fair bit of overgrowth. So we continued on to find a another cache and go for a brief walk. Upon our return he had disappeared, but we could here a faint whir of the blower in the distance so we moved in on GZ and made a very quick find.
Very happy to have been able to make this find and not have to return as that’d be a long trip! Thanks so much Kiama Krew for this hide. I definitely appreciate the maintenance over the years and keeping this one running, it’s a great multi and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

#3407 Thank you Kiama Krew. DeadThief and I actually had plans for a different multi today but instead chose to remain on this side of the range. We were glad we did as this cache was an enjoyable experience all round.
A slight hiccup a WP1 with some unrelated GPS type data nearby that initially had us scratching our heads.
Then we found the real thing which was much more suited to the hint and we were on a much clearer path from then on.
And then there was GZ! Right in the spot there was a council worker pruning plants with secateurs. A slow process for sure. How to outlast this guy. Initially a traditional cache not too far away, then a stroll around and finally to return.
At last no sign of him at GZ, bar his ute and the sound of a blower in the distance.
So in we buzzed for hasty find, logging and replacement before heading on our way. Visiting from Canberra we were afraid this would be left for a future trip but glad that wasn’t the case.
Thanks for sharing this area with us and worthy of a fav. Cheers!

Couldn’t find the first two waypoints, but with determination, your clues and a bit of luck, I found waypoint 3 which got me to gz.

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. A most excellent place visit. We have driven past often it is nice to have a reason to look around.
I thoroughly enjoyed this multi-cache! Huge thanks to Kiama Krew for placing it and keeping it maintained, the recent maintenance especially! I had no troubles finding all the waypoints today and they were all very easy to read, so it was a pleasant experience!
I also enjoyed exploring this area and the fact that this multi showed me the whole area! It was still do-able in the short period of time I had though which I was thankful for!
The final cache was in good condition and of a good size!
So for all the effort in keeping this active for the past 14 years and for the pleasant experience in a nice location, I will award a favourite point
Many thanks! You should keep hiding some more interesting caches!

I improved the legibility of the faded co-ords today at each waypoint. It's still a great walk around there.
Found after a false start, two lots of co_ords at this site, and the first are very hard to read, the rest are all fine. A lovely walk tftc
Dude, leave my geocache alone.

Is this cache still active? Just asking because log book empty and before we attempt it.
Driven past here many, many times. Who would have thought it was such a lovely placed. So many birds and even a flying fox colony.
WP1 has a way point sticker for some other game very close by which threw a bit of a spanner in the works first up but it didn't make sense, so looked further afield and found the correct one soon enough. WP 3 was not tricky at all when I took my hand off it.

Thanks for bringing us to this secret hide away. Lovely sunny morning for an adventure.

A planned caching trip out to Yerranderie this weekend was cancelled due to the forecast heavy rain, but Delloro and I were still keen to get out and find some treasure, so a day trip down the coast was planned instead.
I'm running a bit unbalanced with my multi/mystery cache ratio lately and need to catch up with this type, but they often take longer to find. Especially today as both Delloro and I kept overlooking the obvious (and often easier) places for the next coordinates.
Once we finally reached gz we had to lie to a muggle about what we were up to. I somehow blurted out that we were looking for snakes and the lady was keen to quickly move on!
Thanks for the cache.

A nice little wander through this nice spot. Waypoint blindness seemed to be the theme for me for the day. Thankfully Noodles22 had better eyes in most spots.

No luck for me today, will give it another go when I get back to kiama again. Thsnks for or th journey.
Found with nissan 65 on a short day trip to pick up a few more of our 50km radius. Beautiful spot. Great little walk. Thankyou for a cache. Fav point for you
Found with cullum68 on a quick day trip to clean up my 50km radius thanks for the cache
Great stroll through this picturesque location! Final logbook a real treat - like a time capsule. Allow around 45 mins total if not rushing.
We have travelled down from Sydney to Kiama for the April school holidays, camping for a week at Kendells on the Beach Holiday Park in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer. Today we stayed reasonably close to camp, targeting a few Traditionals and a Multi-cache, for the last full day of our holiday. This was the 6th of 6 finds for the day, and the 39th find for the holiday.
After spending the morning chasing Traditionals we returned to camp for lunch, then headed down to Spring Creek Wetlands to attempt this Multi-cache, our last Kiama cache of the holiday. Parked the geomobile in Glenbrook Drive, then headed over to WP1 for a look, soon finding what we needed.
Worked our way through the various waypoints, exploring this interesting area as we went. Eventually found ourselves at final GZ, where we quickly located the prize. Signed the log book, picked up the TB, then replaced the container as found. A fun way to end our time in lovely Kiama.
Thanks Kiama Krew for the wetlands adventure, and thanks for the cache.

It had been a very hot day so I drove to the wetlands quite late in the afternoon but couldn't convince MrsFish to leave the A/C. I had no idea what to expect and was a little surprised at the size of the wetlands and fauna even in the heat. Skinks were everywhere sitting on rocks or racing through the dry leaves, and I saw several varieties of birds and a noisy bat colony.
This multi was not designed as a park and grab, so I saw quite a lot of the reserve and it took a while to work through the waypoints, all of which had excellent coordinates. At GZ I saw the container which seemed to not be in a secure place, but I replaced it as found after adding our own Golden Toad TB. This was a perfect place for its launching as there were so many frogs around, probably attracting the snake population. Thanks Kiama Krew for an excellent multi, I really enjoyed the walk around the wetlands.

We did it! Thanks for bringing us here! Great place! Fav awarded as our first multi!
This was such a great geocache in a lovely location. The waypoint coordinates were really clear and well hidden. Great hide!
Had an enjoyable wander with the family. Lost count of the way points and was still looking for another when I was at GZ
Went back, confirmed the coords, returned to the same spot, looked everywhere for signs of a recently removed piece of infrastructure, then slapped my head!

Out and about in Kiama collecting a few caches and this was one we found. We enjoyed our wander in the drizzle with the wildlife. Had fun locating the info for the next WPs from wp to wp. The bird hide was very impressive but we only saw ducks. TFTM deserves a favourite.
Kids had a great time finding this one. Almost got lost at WP3. Had to backtrack and then directions led us to a thicket of stinging nettles. Used the hint and went with the most obvious structure.
Only new to geocaching and can't believe I've been walking the dog around here and didn't know I've been literally sitting on clues!

Drove down the coast to grab the 2 new caches available & while I was down here I thought I'd make a day of it. Hitting double-digit finds in one day makes the trip worth it, so I picked off the remaining caches in Shellharbour, Bombo and Kiama!
Yet another multi I regret not doing sooner. I still don't know why multi's are frowned upon!
WP1 was easy, I parked near here.
WP2 was just as simple.
WP3 was great! I took the wrong path at first, then when I realised I couldn't B-Line, I backtracked and took the other path - Neat little place here!
WP4 was fine - I can see that it is a reasonably new structure
GZ was found fast!
Container and log were surprisingly dry!
Glad I took the time to do the little bit of exercise - was well worth it.
Picked up something like 16 months of forgotten years too!!
Thanks for the cache Kiama Krew.

Good long scenic walk. Collected a pin Marauders NZ Canterbury Suburbs which we will move to our next cache.
Enjoyed the location & the waypoints. Accessible location for everyone. easy flat walk with no steps or steep climbs. nice oasis right next to town.
I first visited here with a bushwalking group a couple of months ago and thought why isn't there a cacher here ? I knew there was a multi called wet & wild nearby but always thought it was about the action park at Jamberoo. A few caching friends soon put me straight ! Love the walk around here, a real hidden gem. The waypoints were all easy to spot apart from WP3 where I suffered serious WP blindness. When I finally spotted it I asked myself how I managed to miss it the other 20 times I looked there ! Thanks for the adventure. SL TFTC
Very pleasant stroll with the geokiddies. We found all info except WP3 but continued on to WP4 on a hunch which got us back on track. Soon enough we were at GZ for a quick find then the wander back to the car. TFTC!
WP4 needs it's coords fixed up as it has faded to the point that it is very hard to read!!
Found it today.
We're in Gerringong on holidays. Most people come here for sand and surf, which is cool, but we're more explorer types. And the great things about geocaches is, they point you to things that tourists wouldn't usually see. (Well, we found this in a tourist brochure. But it seems like few people come over here, and some of them are locals walking their dogs!)
We found WP1, then WP2, and then we took a wrong turn and found WP4 (by now we had figured out what to look for). Looking at the varied tree species all the way, and trying to photograph the birdlife, but they were being elusive today. Then we found GZ, still safe and in fine condition 10 months after the last find. We followed the sound of a kookaburra, who we found sitting on the proverbial electric wire. Actually a pair of kookaburras! We'll upload the photos if they turn out.
We then went back to WP3. Very satisfying, but the birds were still being elusive and the lizards were scuttling as soon as we got near. Still, this is a great cache and one we'll remember. Thanks!

I joined forces with friends and we planed to travel South to target some challenging caches. We grabbed this one on the way. This area is an amazing wildlife heaven. Thanks for showing us around, we had an enjoyable stroll. SLTN..TFTC
Belated logging of this one. Something must have gone wrong with the phone.
We seemed to miss WP3 whether it has worn off or we made a mistake I'm not sure. WP4 saw us chatting to an old local lady for 15 minutes before we could retrieve the last co-ord.
Easy find after that.

Been here loads of times since the '80s, but never had an excuse to climb down over the rocks until now! Great location for a cache. A special mention to my friend Ayako who went the distance in a pair of dress sandals! TNLN Thanks
Australia Day - fortunately all of Kiama's tourists were at the beach so with no muggles in sight we returned the log book which was posted back to us after it was accidently 'borrowed' by an over keen geocacher. A very hot day and the large skink lizards were in abundance. Cheers ... Kiama Krew

Oh NO! I just found the log book for Wet and Wild in our geocaching kit. We must have inadvertently taken it when we were there a few weeks ago. We'll try to get back down to Kiama in the next week or two but meanwhile please forgive me. Cheers..........Gaztek
Loved this one, especially WP3. Great site and clues. Enjoyed this one with Mrs. Gaztek and USNees. TFTC
Great little adventure on this multi-cache. Kasperlina and USNees visiting from US and along for the search. Stood on ants' nest at WP1, sprung by a dog-walking muggle at WP2, had to reconnoiter and change directions to get to WP3 which we really enjoyed, spotted a sea eagle near WP4 and had USNees very jittery over the number of skinks on the way to GZ! #598 - Enjoyed a leisurly wander around the wetlands on our 4 day visit to the area. There was a black swan visable from the hide, and a tree across the water was covered in either corellas or cockatoos. In summer I imagine there would be a wonderful variety on display. TNLNSL TFTC
I was initially put off by the fact that this one is a multi. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Even after making an assumption and taking a wrong turn, the waypoints were where they were supposed to be and the walk was very pleasant. Made several swaps. TYFTC.
Nice Multi, beautiful wetlands. Needed three attempts to get the final location because of working muggles. TNLN and TFTC!
Another wonderful park, thanks for bringing me here, Kiama Krew! I loved every WP, found the clues readily, and enjoyed the surroundings. I did have to backtrack after heading in the wrong direction from WP2, but it was worth it, what a terrific surprise! Not a lot of birdlife visible, but the birdsong was delightful. I spent another 1/2 hour just enjoying being here.

After a nice lunch in Kiama we headed down to try and find this cache.
Parked at the suggested spot and headed off only to find a sign that said do not continue if water is over path(or something to that effect), and guess what, there was water running across the path. But it didn't seem very deep so we carried on, and only the last couple of metres was more than half an inch deep so we got through with relatively dry feet.
Found WP 1 with ease and then the rain turned up so we huddled under a tree for a while before heading back and getting our feet much wetter on the way back. Up to WP2 and also found with ease, but like previous logs thats where it went a bit pear shaped. Headed off in the direction of the GPS but soon found we had gone the wrong way even though we didn't see any other way.
Quick u turn and back we went to finally arrive at WP 3 and after a quick search had the next set of co-ords. Funnily the younger girls thought there was other animals hiding in this place and kept asking where they were and that they must just come in here at night!
Found WP4 as the rain returned so back under the nearby trees, and after a while gave up waiting and made a dash for the final location, where the goods were located with ease. Back in under the trees to sign the log and let the kids fight over what we were going to swap!

Finally got to attend to this one. Hmmm, someone has replaced the item I had written the co-ords on with a new item. No one about - probably due to the heavy rains last night and very wet surrounds - so I wrote the co-ords on the replacement item with little haste. A quick check to GZ to make sure the prize wasn't washed away in the recent deluge and found all's well. Kiama Krew.
WP 4 appears to be missing due to repairs to the location.
If you attend before they are corrected look at the cache info again. Now take a look around and you may be able to locate GZ without them but this may take some time.

As this was a multi it has sat on our to do list for some time but it can now be crossed off.
Arrived at WP 1 to find a council worker having lunch. Not a bad job when you can sit back with a gas cooker out in the open air boiling the billy for lunch while sitting under the shade of the trees, what a life. I sat onthe chair and he quickly packed up and went about his work spraying weeds in the area. Now all clear to look for the co-ords that were quickly found.
WP 2 Co-ords were also quickly found but then which way to go. Well I went the wrong way didn't I so back all that way to head in the right direction.
WP 3 was also a quick find but I did find it the hard way and looked in all other possable areas first.
WP 4 Well this was a problem. Repairs had been made to the area and no co-ords could be found.
Taking another look at the cache info went to take a look where I thought it may have been while at the same time putting in a call to try and locate a number to contact the owners. Looked in one area nothing to be found. Went a little further when the phone rang, it was my help line. But this was no good as he did not have a number but thankfully had already found the cache. Advising of the repairs he thought he co-ords may have been removed also and offered a hint as to the final location. This location was where I was standing and was where I was going to look just as the phone rang. Had a look and there it was.
Caching duties completed thiught I cant fix the co-ords as I didnt have required items to do as the owners had at all the other points so turned the gps off as it was now time for home. After walking a short distance worked out I could have fixed the co-ords in a temp way untill the owners could fix so it was back to GZ. Turned the gps on to get the final co-ords but it would not power up. The batteries were dead so sorry I was unable to fix WP 4.

Located at 10.25am. Took china pig, left coin (forgot soldier - must be getting old!!). Had a great time searching for co-ords. The Kiama Krew are a tricky bunch. TFTC
A wonderful way to finish off a day of caching. Cache-Boy was pretty pleased with himself here - he found every one of the waypoints. WP4 took a while. An elderly lady was out for her daily walk, and very keen for a chat. We thought she'd never leave. Took a lizard and left some balls. Thanks Kiama Krew for showing us this lovely area.
Thanks Kiama Krew for this well planned cache. We walked further than we needed to and enjoyed every minute in this peaceful location. Lots of birdsongs while we walked and a close encounter with a not-so-sleepy owl were added bonuses. It was interesting to read that the red bellied black snake is a timid creature - it's not something we intend to test. Finding a large well-stocked cache is always a pleasure. Thanks for the adventure.
Congratulations Kiama Crew on setting up this fun and adventurous multi cache. Took Danish coin left keyring.
I had a nice walk trough the wetland whilst I was waiting for my laundry. No problems finding the WP's and the cache was in good order whit lots of nice goodies.

An enjoyable stroll on an overcast day. Thanks

Another trip down the coast to catch up on this cache that we'd missed last year. The WPs had changed slightly but we made an easy job of it this time on a nice fine day, bit different from last time when it really was wet and wild! Nice walk today.

Umm after geodude made a mistake on hints which saw us scratching our heads for awhile. Geodude finally had another look and realised his mistake once corrected we had the cache in no time.
Great spot for bird lovers.

This is a great little wetlands reserve. The tracks etc are very well maintained and it was an absolute pleasure to wander all over the area today. And wander all over it you must if you wish to find this cache. It was early enough to be muggle free which was handy for one or two of the WPs in particular. We enjoyed every minute of our visit here - lots of birdlife abounding on the waterways. Happily we had no trouble whatsoever in locating all the WPs and of course the cache itself. Excellent and easy multi - well worth doing. We kept a little frog as a memento and dropped off a candle and some girl's ear rings.
Had been meaning to do this one for ages but was put off a bit thinking it was hard. I got all the WPs easily and in fact managed to skip WP3 and guess WP4 before quickly locating the cache. Thanks for another nice walk in Kiama today.
Had to get a little help at WP3 but otherwise no problems - a great spot for the birds
A pleasant Sunday stroll through the wetland. I encountered a few muggles just prior to GZ but they just said hello, even though I was on my knees. On the way back I saw what looked like a ship of the desert & after checking it out with my binoculars I did indeed see a camel. Thanks Kiama Krew.
Touched up the hidden co-ords for better visibility (and spotted a bower bird, its bower and its collection of all things blue on my way to the bird-hide). Also made the WP clues easier.
Found by Pi.
Headed over to look this cache at 6am as I thought that there would be less people around to contend with and this worked out good for me as there were only a few muggles to contend with.
All that I can say is what a hunt. Couldn't find wp1. So I just wandered around till I found a location that matched the description in the clue for wp2 and luckily it turned out to be wp2. Headed for wp3, wasted about 15mins but couldn't find it, so I went for a long walk and came back only to find wp3 within seconds of my return. Boy, was I unhappy with myself for missing it the first time. Found wp4 (this wp needs a refresh as the numbers are hard to read) only to realise I had walked straight past it on my earlier wander. After all the stuffing around I uncovered the cache easily. Did cache stuff then headed back to camp for some breakfast.
Excellent location for a cache and the bird life was exceptional. A large Pelican was sitting right on top of the sewerage vent pipe. Don't know if this cache should be this hard (looking at the number of no finds) as the location is a natural winner. And an easier multi-cache would probably attract more people to this first rate location.

P.S. Edited at owners request - I was a little too descriptive about one of the waypoints.

Had some help from a geomum as I couldn't find W3 but was able to find the general area by the clues.
Geokid went past and checked on Tazean (Lizzy) and noticed she wasn't happy and rather lonely. So Geokid let Lizzy loose to find a new home. I wonder where she will end up?
Just dropped in to put "Lizzy" on her way. Cache is still in good condition and hasn't "washed away"
Found some waypoints, missed some. We think we were at GZ, we're sure we were in the right place, but no cache. Is it possible it has washed away? Might be worth a check. There had been a lot of water through the area and it was still flowing high and fast.
Checked condition of all waypoints today. Only WP 4 needed a touch-up. Good luck.
Another Kiama multicache. I found over twenty waypoints in Kiama today, but no caches! You can probably imagine how insecure my etrex is feeling at the moment. First 2 went well but WP3 I just couldn't get.
Oops, make that a DNF!

Found WP3 at last, although we almost gave up again. This was our third visit stuck on WP3 and we were just about to leave when there it was, plain as day. We had just been looking too hard in the wrong places. After that little hurdle we were able to continue OK. Took the geocoin as our reward and left a Danish coin. Thanks for the challenge. Maybe you can explain the clue for WP3 as we still haven't worked it out.
What a magic park! Got to spot a black snake and never had my camera.
Thanks Kiama Krew, driven past and never knew about this park.
Left Sevabo Pumpkin Geocoin.
Regards Philma.

DNF again! Still stuck at WP3 and some consolation that others have been also. Time constrained again so may need to allocate a full day next time
2nd time lucky. No snakes today, it was too cold (38C last week, 14C this week!).
