Well hidden.
Had a chat with the farmer & he said “it’s there, keep looking”, & sure enough!
The farmer also said it was dryer during the 80’s. Wow.
Thanks

Bathurst Day 2
Being Sunday we thought that in the afternoon we would do a few caches around town, the air conditioned car made life a little more comfortable. This was a nice way to tour the town.
Lots of watering being done along the lane today, Cache was quickly spotted.
Thanks for placing this cache musso madness

In Bathurst for the weekend and only having limited time to cache i selected ones with older dates. Stopped here on the way back to accommodation. Made a quick find. TFTC
Another good find while going from cache to cache today.
Enjoyed the drive around the area.
Thanks for the fun.

Long time since found. Lonely cache.

Find No: 4883. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Big4 Caravan park in Bathurst, enjoying the variety of hides in the district, heading home tomorrow (-1 expected tonight), thanks for the cache musso madness!!
Nice easy find, next person to come looking for this cache, please bring a garbage bag, lot of rubbish in tyre, I didn't have a bag with me. TFTC.
Found. Tftc! Replaced bag with only bag we had. As it has seems to been muggled. But now has been put back to it's stop.
Good find with Team Legonuts, looks like the muggels have taken hands to it so this one might have to be moved.
Had some time to do a quick cache, thought we should give this one a go, found in good order. TFTC. (247).
Beware of the dogs as you drive back from GZ to the main road. Our Ute's back mud-flaps now have some chew marks on them after a little encounter with the 3 resident dogs .

Found with DEBSE and Swynymor. DEBSE discovered the spot pretty quickly. Thank you.

The camo on this one was the first thing I saw at this spot, but I didn't look under it. Instead I looked in a few other spots that seemed more likely. Then when none of those spots had a cache, I pulled the camo aside & made an easy find.
Cache has obviously been very wet in the past, as everything in it was soaked. Log was signable however.
Thanks

Even after some barbed wire scratches and finding an old wasp nest - still now find
We were on our way out of Bathurst when we decided to detour for another cache. Then we couldn't replace it immediately because of muggles, so we decided to keep it with us while we did this one. We pulled up and found nothing at first. Then we read a few logs which suggested that not only had others trouble finding the cache, but that they had also had trouble with wasps! I looked about and spotted the wasps. I'd been right near them and not noticed them at first! Then the WaywardWoman spotted the cache. She actually retrieved it and I replaced it, so I guess we shared the risk. No stings, thankfully. Thanks
#1890- We had had a bit of a look around, and thought, how hard can it be? just as we were about to go, we spotted the wasps, then the cache. Luckily they were far enough apart to extract the cache witout upsetting them. Thanks.
At last! I've been back here several times in the past (not since my last log, though), so you can imagine my surprise when we pulled up and the cache container was in full view!
I must say I felt slightly let down by the ease of finding it this time - it obviously wasn't where it was supposed to be.
The contents, except for the log book were all quite wet, so I took the liberty of replacing the snap-lock back and disposing of the more smelly and rusted of the contents and returned it to an out-of-sight spot.
TFTC musso madness.

Grass really long and location looked like a snake haven. Maybe try this again in winter.
Found this one after getting a hint from code1 .... Thanks mate! As with the previous log I too sustained a sting from a wasp! So be careful! TFTC
Still heading back home to Queensland and spent the morning picking up some Bathurst caches. We weren't too sure if we would find this one due to all the DNFs but we ended up here accidently and came up with the goods, however, we did disturb a swarm of wasps which stung me on the hand and there are lots of small ants in the container otherwise all is fine!!! Ouch!!

I have searched for this one several times without success, I'm wondering if it is still there, not having been found for some time.
I looked for it mid summer, but gave up because of the fear of snakes. I went back twice in the last few days and had a very serious look, but to no avail.

So it IS still there! Although I think it's starting to become one with the landscape!
I came out to have another look for this cache, after a DNF on a previous occasion in 2010.
Looked around and then had a good read of the past logs. While amusing, I don't think any of them actually helped
in the end... Did a final sweep and voilà! Finally a find on this one. The only hint that I'll give (other than my trample marks everywhere) is that it's bigger than I thought it might be.

attracted the attention of two cranky blue heelers, couldn't get out if the car! Next time I'll take steak
Looked for this one on the way to work and couldn't find it. Must be blind to this one.
Found after a short search by geoson 1. Container needs replacing as contents are quite wet. TNLN SL
A few scratches are a small price for the find. Great spot for a different view of Bathurst.
Last find for our weekend of caching. Quick and easy find. Hot afternoon so were a bit wary of snakes in this spot after bumping into a big brown yesterday in a similar spot.
Found the cache but it was full of water due to a few weather cracks.. need a new container, preferably something more durable ie Systema/Lock'n'Lock etc. Dried it out as best as I could. TFTC.
While visiting this cache with my Grand daughter to show her what a cache looked like, on lifting the hide, what should be underneath but a Tiger Snake curled up on top of the cache! Be very wary when you visit this cache! Even though its almost winter, the snake was very active! Approach this cache with GREAT CAUTION!!
