When I first looked at the map of Dublin and saw all those Puzzle Caches I thought this would be a challenging and interesting week caching in the CBD.... luckily with this one it would seem it will be less challenging then anticipated but luckily no less interesting. I was wondering why my Hostel was called Four Courts! I was very busy with work all day but needed a quick one for the Geostreak... which will be 250 days tomorrow! This little guy was only 100m from my door and the co-ords quickly locked. It was hard to search as it was peak hour but I got a suspicion of where it might be so walked off the bridge, pulled out the camera, zoomed ALL the way in... and Bingo! Spotted it Knowing the exact location made it much easier to retireve while takeing further photos of the river. Cheers from Australia!
We stopped at the Brazen Head for a very enjoyable couple of drinks in this historic pub. The birthday boy had inadvertently sat himself right beside some 'graffiti' which was sure to get a reaction from one member of Team50, so I just had to point it out. Surprisingly Jim let us stay and finish our drinks in this bar! Fully refreshed, we headed back out to find a few more caches and said farewell to HRGH and Margot as they had to catch an earlier flight. Thanks for your great company and for finding this cache for us all. SL. TFTC.
Another find as part of Team 50 on our weekend trip to Dublin to celebrate Sadexploration's 50th birthday. We have enjoyed exploring Dublin by cache location. Thanks for bringing us here.
Came to this bridge together with schokozwerg, solved the puzzle... and got coordinates somewhere in the Liffey a few metres next to the bridge (according to our Garmin ). So we tried the hint... and did not very well. It took us quite a time to figure out what was meant.
But finally we made it.
