No I'm not a terrorist planting a Bomb, some Muggles show no signs when confronted with suspicious movements. A nice sunny day to take fotos from this vantage point. yea rite. thats for the japanese, I'd rather b caching. TFTC TNLNSL
Found this in the wee hours of the morning, when the muggle factor is very low.
TNLN Thanks Caughtatwork.

Yes, thanks for that itrdc5. Wasn't easy to find this cache. The hardest thing is trying to not look shifty in front of all passersby! Good one though!
Agree this one does require a bit of 'bravery'. Went for the grab after sitting around for 10 minutes pretending to be talking on my phone.
The early start meant absolutely no muggles around, so a really easy find. Beautiful morning for it, now off to ride the trams.

Found this on a lunchtime geocache outing with MinnieTheMinx and Backpaqer. I was very uncoordinated and poured soya sauce on my jeans when we sat down for some sushi. After cleaning up, my second attempt at the soya sauce ended up by me spraying sauce all over Minnie's foot. Good thing she was wearing flip flops.
Cache number 2 after the tennis.

I've finally managed to nab this one! Surprisingly the cache was in plain view from the walkway (??). Still quite a climb to get up there and the crowds were very minimal as I left work early (doing deployments from home) at around 4:40pm. Rehid where I think C@W intended...as I've scoped out this one a few times in the past and it's never been in plain view, you'll need your "cache-goggles" again.
Dropped off Captain CanDuck who is a Traveller himself and still would like to see some more states around Australia.

After doing Southbank, I thought I'd make a clean sweep of the area and headed down here. The cache notes gave a good indication of where it should be but, even so, I checked out the correct spot without finding it and only rechecked after trying the opposite side first. A bit of a squeeze (not one for the calorifically challenged!) with my backpack on and a closer look and the unusually large container was revealed.

Thanks again C@W - another excellent hide/location

2nd time luck for the B-Team, with help from the A-Team & Biggles303 - it helps to have a kid cacher with you for this one as it looks much less conspicuous when retrieving! Our last cache in Melbourne on this trip prior to heading over to Tassie on the ferry this evening. TNLN TFTC.

Found on 27/12/06 @ 1105 AEDT. I thought this cache would be as easy as a riverside promenade, but it proved to be a little more challenging [B)]
Whilst conducting my initial wander around the general area a smoking muggle asked me if was 'playing that GPS game?' [:o]!! It turned out that his brother is a geocacher and he (the curious muggle) is in the market for a GPSr , I spotted the cache shortly after my chat, then spent the next 10 minutes taking artistic photos to cover my retrieval (and another 5 minutes replacing [B)])

A nice spot for the cache... Not too many people around today which was a virtue... Thanks for taking us back to this bridge once again...

The Travellers geocache was the only one i found out of 5 that morning. i was looking on the wrong side for a while so check both sides. left american quarter took nothing.
I looked and looked, then went away and came back and looked some more. I'm pretty sure the cache is no longer there, either that or its bloody well hiden.
I sent 169090 to retrieve the cache after we spotted it - bravery was required. Took TB Old Deuteronomy.
Found and logged on the third visit. First was a preliminary site inspection. Second was a formal site inspection. Third was the snatch and grab.
Another great urban cache. OSDC tour-de-cache rolls on. http://www.osdc.com.au/
A very clever hide in a popular spot on a Sunday afternoon. Of course you will be seen, but what will you look like you're doing? Using my camera helped to look like a lame tourist. Come to think of it, that's what I was! TFTH
My third attempt at this cache, and this time with the hint in hand it became obvious where I should be looking... thanks to the fact that some of the lights were out I was able to retreive the cache with relative ease. TNLNSL, TFTC
I took a quick check by this cache on my way to lunch today to ensure that it was still in place.
A quick check from below revealed nothing, so standing upon high another quick check revealed that the cache was not where I was expecting it.
Dang! It's gone missing I thought to myself, but the another twist of the head and the cache was there in aperfectly legitimate location, only about 30cm from where it was originally hidden.
It's a tragedy when the cache owner (who knows what the cache looks like) struggles to find it, even though it's therebefore his face. Doh!
The cache is still all good to go

I had done some reconnaissance on this one during the day. I was sure I had spotted the cache but was not dressed appropriately to do a retrieve. Late last night there were few muggles around, so I jumped in. But I could not find the cache where I had expected it to be.
Spent a bit of time looking but finally found it. TNLN. Enjoying this part of Melbourne and the cache hunting on a lovely day which we did after looking through the markets.
Found the coordinates and many likely places but never found it. Too many people about to really search hard. Thanks it was a great spot anyway!
Dear CaughtAtWork,
We found your cache at 12:50pm as the fourth of nine on our Father & Daughter's day out. The camera definitely came in handy as a vital prop in the retrieval and replacement of this one. Thanks for the cache.
Kind Regards,
D & K B-A

I was in Melbourne attending an appointment so I grabbed a few caches while in town. I found this the hardest cache I have done in some time; the hide was easy getting there was the hard part. Once I made it to GZ I just sat there and logged the cache no one cared less what I was doing there, it helps to take a bottle of coke and a camera. Just sit there and take some pictures or look like you are having a drink in the sun. Thanks Caught@work for the cache. I picked up the TB and the Geo coin.
I have a fair idea where it is but there was just too many people around and it looked like I needed to climb. Will have to give it a miss this trip.
This was my favourite hide of the day. Excellent clue for an excellent hide. I swapped a geocoin and TB for the geocoin in the cache. There are some good swaps still in there too.
Thanks,

I forgot to log the TB I dropped off. The lucky dice are right outside the Casino for someone in need.
Had to look around for some minutes before spotting the hiding place.

Found this one @ 21:25 with lots of muggles around I used the clue and retreived it quickly, and retreated to a place to log the find before waiting a few mins before replacing it.

Found likely location, but was not prepared to make the climb. Not one to attempt in a suit, I would think...
1215. What a clever hide!! Tricky!! We took some interesting photos while we were searching for this one in an effort to delude the muggles!
We left "gold coin" TB that gets logged on another site.
Thanks

Looking again with Wanderas 1 - I didn't realise the Travellers actually *travel* until we saw them all spread out later in the afternoon. Wasn't sure which side of the bridge the cache was on (due to weird GPS action) and there were way too many muggles around. We gave up
Lunchtime and the city teeming. I didn't intend getting this one today but the lure was too great and I too made a 30 sec dash and log with pen already between my lips. Rehid and then retreated only to my horror realising the cache was incorrectly replaced. So up I went again putting it back in its correct spot. A good adrenaline fix. Thanks c@w
Wow what an effort required to retrieve this one. Not sure what reaction you would get if spotted with the cache. Thanks C@W (I think).
We left one to last with the hope that it would be a little less busy than during the day, no such luck even at 11.45pm the place was crawling with people. Luke had the honour of trying to get the cache while the rest of us kept watch from all directions for the right moment for a snatch and run.
Thanks to Caught@work for the cache,

After the gps was dancing all spots here, searched awhile in the treasure trove of hiding spots for a good 15 mins. Finally just did the "daring" at 2.00pm on a sat afternoon and did the quick "40 sec nab,log and re-hide" job and scrambled off real quick !You just cant avoid being seen here, but this one will stump many .Many thanks to caughtatwork for the daring challenge!tnln.
Took me a while though! GPS dancing around made it hard to get a fix (sounds like I need to get a Tom Tom!) tried several options, read previous postings, finally settled on one likely place and sure enough. Retrieving and reinserting took longer 'cause at 11.30 at night I felt very exposed to the few muggles walking past. After, as I was sitting writing a note to self I was quizzed by a passerby who was concerned at my position! I left him to his concerns. Thanks c@w. The things we do!
As Oenze said, we found it. I retreived and replaced the cache while Oenze did the writing stuff. Plenty of muggles around and hard not to be noticed at GZ but by now we know a few tricks about not looking conspicicuous, I think!
TNLN but thanks for another good challenging cache.

Capital City Trail Cache, 1st find of the day, the GPS was sending us here and there but TomTom had us looking in the right spot. TNLN, Signed Log.

We loved this cache. Great spot to hide and lots of kids jumping from steel to steel and onto the ground - daredevils.

Second of three finds for the afternoon. I had an interesting time at this one. OziExplorer placed the cache at the south end of the bridge, but when I turned on my GPSr it told me the cache was 51m away! This was despite having contact with seven birds, and an EPE of 7m. Could C@W's Garmin be more reliable than my Magellan? I don't think so, Tim.
Like pickupfamily, I 'did a lot of walking in big circles' trying to resolve the issue, but the GPSr steadfastly insisted that the cache was 50-odd metres away. I rang pprass to confirm that I was in the right area, and to get answers to a couple of pointed questions. So, it was a GAFF4 find at 1455. I made no exchange. Thanks to caughtatwork for the cache. I'm guessing that GabGab won't be logging this one in a hurry!

Found in the company of Team Crackers and Pickupfamily dad after the bells tips and tricks night. It's amazing what you can get away with when pretending to tap dance on a bridge rail. Found after a little bit of Hot/cold from the pickupfamily.
Thanks Caughtatwork for a great cache!!

We found this in the company of Spruce Moose's and pickupfamily after a very enjoyable meal at Bell's. The cache was located by Spruce Moose's whilst we pretended to take pictures, unaware that you are not supposed to do that here

Found this one this morning, would have had the FTF on this last night at a bout 4.30pm but when I arrived at the GZ a television program was being filmed on the bridge, and a number of large goons were not allowing anybody on the bridge. Will just have to settle for second to find this morning.

Found 9:25, a nice easy find on a cool but pleasant morning.
TNLN, thanks caughtatwork.
TNLN, thanks caughtatwork.
Found at 12.30pm GAFF4. It was probably the worst time of day to go searching for this cache, hence the call for assistance. With no photos allowed in the precinct, I wonder what the authorities will think of this! Thanks C@W - a challenging cache (didn't have time to swap)
Pickupfamily Dad first to find at 9:10pm. A long and tortuous wait after Pickupfamily Mum was MSN-ing me at work at 4:32pm to "quick, go out". Unfortunately, I had meetings I couldn't leave, hoped to get out at 5:30, which I feared even would be too late; but still couldn't get away then. Then played squash, which even a geocaching addict didn't have the heart to skip; but worrying all the time that the FTF would be taken. Finally got to GZ just before 9pm, and had a lot of trouble getting a stable GPSr reading. Maybe the overhead wires have a big impact??
My first hunch about where the hide would be was right, but took a lot of walking in big circles to convince myself that's really where the co-ords were pointing, providing entertainment to the flautist busker; before "taking the plunge" to go fetch it. Luckily I found a "secluded" way in, and fetched the cache while nobody was looking. Then I sat in a strange location while fiddling with the log (and my backpack). People gave me odd looks but I gave them even odder looks back so they left me alone. Relieved to see I was first to find. Didn't inspect the well-stocked conents, so took nothing and left nothing. Waited a painfully long time to find a break in the muggles to replace the cache. I think I took the easy route in and the easy route out (even though they were different).
This is an excellent spot for a cache, crossed my mind when I first discovered The Travellers, but I'm not as inventive with the hides as C@W. Thanks for a great cache.
