Sounds like the cache is gone!!
I will check on it when I next pass by the area, but am archiving it anyway.

Some tree contractors have visited the site and completely cleared all around the GZ. I had a good look around, but the area has been severely munted and no sign of the container.
Second visit to find this cache. Read past logs and decided to amend coordinates to that of a previous visiter and presto. At lewast didn't feel like a grave robber this time. TFTC
Found with Mogni during our 8 days of caching and touring around the South Island of New Zealand.

Its amazing sometimes how many of these places there are hiding around. GPS had me in one spot but the Cache was found in another, well within the normal satellite deviation. thanks Moneydork.
Yes coords a bit out, but whatever .... its a nice location and cache can be quickly found using caching nouse
GPS was saying no way is it here and we were thinking of leaving when I spied an obvious cache hider some distance away. Bingo. TFTC.
Difficulty getting a good fix. Tried many obvious sites within whole fenced off area. Back home now and have read logs. Will try again.
Took a few minutes - but got it in the end
My fav sort of location - many thanks

We took Grandalf's advice and thought like a Moneydork and lo, there was the cache, all safe and sound.

Well we were all over the obvious location, but no amount of faith could help us. I am now a doubting Thomas and don't believe that it is still there.
Um, we failed to get this one. Obvious place near "Repose" failed to show anything. Pity, it will be a while til we come back this way again. Cheers
An easy find, but mega muggles about. Three cattle trucks with drivers and offsiders - all busy doing something while I retrieved and logged the find before replacing it. TN, LN, SL. Thanks for another Moneydork cache.
Easy find. At first, the GPS was pointing elsewhere, but I thought "where would Moneydork hide this cache?" - and walked straight up to it. It is a peaceful, secluded spot - if you ignore the zoom, zoom of nearby traffic, and let the calm sighing of a rural breeze in the pines carry you away from the hustle of modern life. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1260)
Cannot beleive that we could not find it the first time. Walked in and walked straight over to it - before Mr had even got out of the car. TFTC
12:00 Failed to find this cache with the original coordinates but Weka's did the trick at this, a place to reflect. TFTC
I searched here but the GPS was going all over the place. I then read the previous logs and decided to use WEKA's coords. These took me right to it.
Cheers for the cache.

Deja vous - ah yes we were here on the 6 Jan 07 and forgot to log - oh well - not forgetting this time. Cache #420 TFTC TNLN SL - good to see it has changed little in the last 13 months.
2nd time lucky.
Is this one of those places where it is hard to get accurate co-ordinates?
We got
44 51 902
171 05 122

#1239 Coordinates for the cache were way out. Should have been S44 51.896 E171 05.115 Perhaps the intention is to mislead the hunter? DS8300
Was a bit concerned about where my GPSr was pointing on a previous visit so cunningly had a little spell passed on by a friendly witch at my disposal this time and was able to avoid any spiritual or otherwise encounters with the residents.

DNF. Have come home and read other people's logs and see we are not alone in not finding it. I love cemeteries and had a good look around and collected 2 bags of pine cones as a consolation prize.
Have been planning to do this one for a while, so was disappointed that we didn't find it.
Will have to try again on our next visit down

I was so pleased to find this one as I had tried several months earlier with no luck.
Stopped by on the way south to Dunedin
Our second visit to this cache, both in the day.
Our second visit to this cache, both in the day.
This is the only DNF of our entire New Zealand trip. I was really looking forward to logging another cemetary cache, since those are my number one favorite places and I really like the name of this one. We just could not find it and we wished there was a hint. We looked in and under and deep into cracked crypts and still couldn't find it. I am disappointed and pouting.

Found this one with Comradehunt on the "get to 100 and 250th mission" journey. Attempted on the way south during daylight, with no luck, but found easily on the way north, in darkness (with torch).
A few places worth checking!!!

My GPS was affected badly by the trees and sent me all over the place but eventually found it. Left TB

Dropped off Police Geocaching coin - took a while to find, even though we found it some months back!
Yes we thought we'd been spied by muggles making sure we weren't up to mischief in this beautiful little rest spot. However we made a fake retreat and lured him out of the car. Sideways glances, hands in pockets, curt nods but hark! a chord hanging from a pocket, does it belong to a GPS? Fellow geocachers meet for the first time! It was great to meet Kiwimoose on his travels south. Good fun. TFTC.
I pulled up and there was a bunch of "muggles" already wandering around. After a bit of suspicious sideways glances at each other, it turns out to be a couple of Aussie cachers - Warramoos - also looking for it. Found it quickly and had a good chat with them. Good to meet others while out and about!

At last! yes it looks easy now, however, we were that pleased to crack this one that we all dined out on this Sunday night. Found with Geewizz and friends.
Took Scratchy left some coins, and no the scratchy was not profitable.

Looked around area but still didin't find it. Can't have been far away as it was found day before?
Finally got round to stopping at this one. The younger team members found this one on a horrible cold wet day and unfortunately thats also the condition we found the cache in. Never fear Team Chelmo's here! Dried the cache and added silica, It's all good TFTC

Went out to this one in the rain, co-ords took us to a grave, in fact basically right on the grave. We figured we weren't meant to venture there so had a poke around elsewhere. Came up empty so extended our search out a bit. And there it was all dry, safe and sound. TNLN TFTC
Well thats two attempts without finding, once in the dark and again during the day. Given the closest headstone sure we had the right location.
Wonderful head stones, I'm sure there are stories of the past to be told! t-marble l-tissues (thought there might be tears!)
On our way to eat rasberrys and stopped of to look for this cache.
Found easlily enough.

Another neat little cemetery that would go unnoticed by the bulk of travellers not 30 metres away. I homed right in on the cache spot, but gave up too quickly. R made the discovery a few moments afterwards.
TNLN, Thanks,
Mike.

Got it in two seconds flat this time. Sure I looked there before, but obviously not! TFTC.
Did this nice cache together with Ingrid and hixxx on our last camper van day on the way to Christchurch.

Well, stopped for another look today, on way down to Ommers to find "Close to Holm" offset cache.
I looked in all the same spots as I did last time, but just slightly more observantly, as there it was, a couple of inches from where I was looking last time.
TNLN - -Cheers.

The ONLY DNF of the afternoon - and I thought this one would be the easiest.
Found the correct spot, and Etrex led me right to the "Repose of the Soul of . ." tombstone.
However, I was unable to locate the cache. and I tried all the nooks and crannys that I could see, and then some.
I'll keep an eye out, and if somebody else is still able to find, will come back for another go.
Cheers.

225. Wasn't intending on travellin this way, but since a nice day, why not. Thanks
No joy here. Had a good look around but couldn't lay a hand on it. Ah well, another day maybe.
Old cemetery with a cache - makes both Mrs GSV and me both happy! This time I found the cache faster than she got through taking photos of plantings and memorials! TFTC!
Cheers,
G.
(p.s. no swaps as I left my caching bag in Dunedin. BEEP it all!)

1285. We took a while searching as our GPS wanted to take us in another direction! We have often looked at that spot on the way past saying that it deserved a cache so thanks for thinking the same and acting on it!!

Geez you're a ratbag Moneydork! I reckon you deliberately put a bit of an offset on the coords to get people ferriting in places they shouldn't!
A neat spot, and a nice excuse for a quick stop. TNLN, Thanks.

Found it on our second attempt. Yesterday's effort was aborted in frustration so we decided to try again today. Once again Lenore came to the fore and ferreted it out. Very clever.

Found on our journey from Christchurch to Dunedin. Not really hidden, but hard to see. Nice old cemetary. Thanks from San Diego, CA cachers.
Nice small cemetery, easy to find.We found it by the way to Christchurch.TFTC,TNLN
Our first cache - very exciting. Had us wandering around scratching our heads but a moment of inspiration and there it was. Thanks for the hunt.
As with the previous log I wonder how many times I've passed this spot and never seen the graveyard. I took a few photos and details and will pass them on to my sister for inclusion in the "Interesting Graves" section of the genealogy society newsletter she edits (morbid I know, but whatever floats your boat I guess.) TFTC. TNLN.
Nice find on the way to ChCh, again I had never seen this before while travelling past.TFTC was a nice stop to stretch the legs.

Gosh there are lots of Henley's here. Had to hunt about for a while after making an incorrect assumption. Cheers.
First of several cemeteries visited on way south to caching event in Dunedin. Does everyone round here have the same name? Left some swops to boost supply.
Yay first to find - really easy find on the way to christchurch in the early morning - such a mild day.
