Happy that this one is still there. We are out here for the Mangowine Festival so couldnt go past this without giving it a go. Thanks for the smiley
Staying in Mukinbudin with friends for a few days. Headed over to Nungarin to check out the museum.
Stopped past here on the way back. Nice to find some of these archived hides. Cache has seen better days, but log still signable. TFTC

Out and about in the Central Wheatbelt area this weekend on a mission to grab some missing LGA's. After 1200 odd K's, 43 finds, a few DNF's and two nights under the stars, it was mission accomplished.
Cant believe I drove straight past this one yesterday, didn't realise till I was checking my maps last night. Backtracked a bit this morning to grab it.
ZED! I found your cache at 6:59am, this was the 1st of 7 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5897. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Another archived cache that is still able to be logged!
This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there ZED!, I was in this area today and found your cache Mangowine GCXCGE. I added my name to the log book at 2:03 pm on 28 September 2019. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This cache find brings our total find count to 10974. Woohoo!!

TFTC! Found on a day trip to the Wheatbelt to grab a bunch of caches and enjoy the countryside. At a quick look; around 12hrs driving for 900km, 29 finds, couple of DNFs.
Was a great day out, attended wyalcatchems first geocaching event, found a bunch of archived caches that were still in place and mostly in good condition. Saw some wonderful sights (see pics in logs). Thanks to all the COs.
Still In good shape

Stopped on the side of the road, it was starting to rain so made a quick dash from the car. No doubt the locals will be happy with this rain. SL TNLN TFTC
Visited site 7th Sept 2011. The container was brilliant, although the area had been flooded the contents were dry {:)}
After a day of rock climbing at Eaglestone Rock, where we are camping this weekend, I snuck out to find this one. A lovely drive in the country-side, and a very quick and easy find on arrival.
All's well in the cache, thanks for the hunt ZED!

It was unfortunate that we were here outside the correct viewing times for this homestead otherwise we would have been here a little longer. We can say that we saw another type of homestead in the form of one of the biggest spider webs that we have ever seen that also included part of the container in it's structure. Fortunately the owner didn't appear as we destroyed part of it's home by removing the cache. We signed the log and returned it the same as we found it. Thanks ZED for the cache and for the local history
Found it but was hoping the cache was in a more interesting place. Went looking for the springs but failed. Found out that at Mangowine there was some kind of big concert in that night....we were gone.......looking for peace.
It didn't take us long to find it. The Fallons came with us and mum and Cameron found it!
Popped in to have a quick look and see how the container is fairing - surprisingly well considering how exposed this one is to the elements.
A quick drive by cache - gotta love these occasionally. TNLN. Thanks nobodyZ
An easy find after leaving Lake Brown this morning, and on our way up to Mukinbudin.
Didn't stop to sample the mangowine though. TN-LN-SL. Thanks to nobodyZ for the cache.

Our last find for the day...and it is just starting to rain. We replaced the bag the log is in as there was a little water in the cache..not very much..just didn't want the log to get wet.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Just passing through on a wildflower trip. T toy car, L 1944 Australian penny. TFTH
Done at 10.30 am homestead wasn't open until 1pm which was a bit dissapointing.Still nice spot
Forgot to log this one found over a long weekend of caching. Wish we had time to check out the homestead, next time.
The homestead isnt that much diferent to one we lived in in Gosnells. Mud brick makes for a very comfortable house. the temperature doesnt vary too much so its cool is summer and warm in winter. If they were modern and had a wood burning stove they would have felt like they were kings.
On the way out to the homestead we spotted a large truck carrying a wheat conveyor machine. They must have been relocating it to be ready for harvest time.
Good contents in the cache although we did wonder about the handcuffs !!!!!
Didnt do any swaps

Our third nobodyZ cache for the day but only our first find, but then... nobodyZ could miss this quick and easy drive through!
We went on to visit the Homestead and Inn and spoke to a granddaughter of Charles and Jane Adams, and boy did she have some interesting tales to tell. Thank you nobodyZ for encouraging us to stop for a while and speak to the locals.

Found the cache in good condition and signed the log and even left $150 Ha Ha . The canola crop in the adjoining paddock was looking great in the bright sunshine so some great photos were taken with this as a backdrop.
Thanks for the cache

Accompanies with Varuna. We enjoyed ourselves for the day. Good to know about the history. Thank you for bring us to be there. Thanks NobodyZ for organise the cache and hunt.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Another one of NobodyZ's excellent cache series. A nice and quick find. We went to have a look at the historical homestead and unfortunately, we cannot stay long enough due to being closed at 4.00pm and had a nice chat with the caretakers about its history. Thanks to NobodyZ for bringing us to this interesting historical area and the cache
This was our second of four caches for the day. Decided on a 260km round trip to keep us busy this fine Sunday. Thanx for the cache. We took the whoopee cushion and left a pair of handcuffs.
Found on our journey around the wheatbelt.
Dropped of the geocoin and SVR Travel bug as we were not sure of their goals. Being close to the cache we found them in should not affect their travel plans.

Easy enough to find not far from the Homestead. Had a quick look at the house on the way past. I'll have to read up on it.
