Good Friday sees me heading into the northern wheatbelt to clear out a few caches and cross off another 5 LGAs.
Headed out early and headed for Goomalling for the first stop. Then headed further north.
First stop for the day. Walked across the rock to GZ. Spotted the container quickly. As mentioned previously, the container is pretty destroyed but the logbook is serviceable.
ZED! SVKR_WA found your cache on 30 Mar 2018 at 07:50:01.
The log was signed and the cache replaced.
This find brings my find count to 2910

Avoiding the rain in Perth we headed out for a day trip around the wheatbelt... After finding the newly published cache not far from here, we decided to go see if we could find this one Turned it into a D5, but got there and soon found the cache!
As already mentioned the cache is not in a good shape, but we still managed to add our names... TFTC ZED! We spotted a much nicer way to the cache on the way out, but that wouldn't have been as much fun would it hehe!

Interesting to see these archived caches are still alive, this one is in a very interesting spot, unfortunately the container is in very bad shape these days.....I must remember to bring more with me next time i travel the wheatbelt.
Thanks ZED
Thanks ZED
Found this one while staying at a friends nearby, dogs loved the walk through this wonderful area. Cache container is had it but in the interests of keeping this cache alive I will replace the container on my next visit because despite the cache being archived it it wasn't for this cache I wouldn't of discovered this wonderful spot with so much history so TFTC ZED! slowly getting through them
Roadtripping the Northern Wheatbelt with Kyzabra and Krabiboy, this was a good archived cache to collect. Thanks ZED
Today was a huge day. 14 hours, 625km, and 27 finds.
This trip out had been a long time in the planning.
Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan and probably changed it about 10 times. dallyho joined us, final plans were set, and off we went
Another archived cache we found.
ZED! - Kyzabra found your cache Oak Gnamma . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Kyzabra and I have had our eyes on this part of the Wheatbelt for a few months. We were joined by Dallyho and today was the day to head out and make a weekend of it.
We left at 4.30am on Friday and headed off to the northern wheatbelt.
We covered over 600km today, clocking up 29 finds, including 5 archived caches.
We took a bit of a diversion from our planned route to grab this one, but glad we did. Another archived cache in the wheatbelt.
TFTC ZED!.
ZED!, I found your cache Oak Gnamma on 5/08/2016.

Cache container all broken up but all dry but alot of the stuff is ruined from previous rains log is still good
This was our 1st GC find at the start of a 2-week break travelling the NE Wheatbelt. Box is crumbling away but pad inside was still dry and therefore ok to sign. TFTC Zed
Cool spot for a lunch break... Shame idiots need to drive their 4wds through the mud and dig it all up!!
Had planned a trip out into the SW but unfortunately it couldn't happen as planned so decided to take a drive out this way instead.
Was a quick find here but the container is now completely US. None of my spares were big enough to replace it considering the size of the log book and I didn't have a replacement bag for the log book either so had to leave it as is. It might survive a bit longer where is is located as it is a bit proteced from the elements.
Thanks ZED! for the cache.

Note for future seekers, there's a creek between the BBQ area and the Geocache so if the creek actually has water in it or you have kids, take a ~150m detour walk down the road and cross the bridge. You will then have a clearer, drier path up to the site.
You can look at the sculptures on the way.

What an adventure to find this one! Had to carry master 6 across a quite full creek nearly slipping several times and losing my shoes a couple more an easy find once across though. Cache needs maintenance as the container is quite degraded and may be prone to water leaks. I sealed as best I could and covered it over well. TFTC
First find! I grew up in the area and still visit frequently so knew it would be an easy one to start with the kids, thanks bullya78
Ahhhhhhhh holidays!!!!!!! Our 5th find in a new adventure east

Within 100m -- and found a body of water between us and the cache ! Easy enough to drive a bit further and walk around.
Got a little muddy walking across the creek. Found without too much hunting. Container still ok but has seen better days. SL TNLN TFTC
Water course was very full, had to walk way up the road to get around.

Good spot, very hot and dry today. Temperature 41 degrees. The toilet was spotless much to my surprise. This would make a good overnight camp spot with the caravan in the cooler months. TNLN. Thanks ZED
We camped here as well, nice spot.
Thanks for breaking up the long road with some this cache you place along the route.
We found this one on our 10 days 4000Km trip from Nannup through the goldfields and wheat belt, with our goal to find to oldest (6 years) awaiting ftf cache in WA: Nichols knob

Parked the camper and thought this would be an easy one but then realised I had to take the long way around to get across the water. It was a bit cool to go wading. Once across though it was an easy find but I should have worn my old shoes across the muddy ground. Nice spot, will have to file this one away as a future overnight camping spot.
It took a while to find the area as we traveled on a few of the less used gravel roads before getting here.
When we arrived there was a family having a BBQ (no burn season too). Their kids were catching tadpoles and running around in the water. We pretended to be taking photos of the area and made our way to the cache site unnoticed.
We had to log it quickly so as not to arouse suspicions.
No swaps done so we could be quick
Nice place to visit and we used to come out to the area 20 years ago but never knew about the gnamma holes. Thanks for the new knowledge.

Interesting history, you can see the evidence of days gone by. The cache was visible as we approached it, the camo is peeling off. Contents in good order. TNLNTFTH
Found the cache easily and signed log. We spent some time in the reserve exploring the area and reading the plaques.
Thanks for bringing us to this spot and Thanks for the cache. Cheers and beers

Glad you enjoyed the area Varuna and Everlasting but your log and one picture in particular has given me a surprise.
1. There's a new toilet block?
2. There's a new walk trail?
That's great news TFTI will have to revisit and have a look around so I can update the listing.

Another one of NobodyZ's excellent cache series. Thankful, it was able to cross over the water without wetting your boots. Thanks to NobodyZ for bringing us to the historical area, picnic facilities including a new toilet block, and the cache.
Easy find & nice easy walk trails. Log is late because GPS died & has been replaced twice. TFTH
Found at 1425 on return to Toodyay after finding Rusty.
As we had our gum boots with us we waded across the creek to reach GZ. Easy find. Thanks

An easy find after NOT following Rod's waypoints, though it was quite a pleasant drive around the area. The flies are really bad in this area, so ensure that you bring along a fly net. They are usually available in camping stores or tourist centers. TN-LN-SL. Thanks to Rod for the cache.
A great spot for a camp over night, found the cache easy the next morning after a breakfast of pancakes and coffee.

Enjoyed this little diversion from our route heading North. Explored the Gnamma holes then drove on down to the gate which allowed us access to the area of GZ. Found eventually after probing the obvious spot my GPS was pointing at without any success, but then saw the container a few metres away completly out in the open. Didnt like to hide in the spot in which i origionally searched in case my gps was a bit off, but did cover with some bark and moved a mtr or so closer to a nearby bit of bush. It was about 15 mtrs away from where my gps was first taking me.

Dropped off TB to wander the pool in search of relatives.
Today this spot hosts a centenary picnic which is good because yesterday the area was cleaned up and the BBQ was rebuilt.

For some reason this cache was left of my list to do today until I passed a road sign to the picnic area. Got there and wandered across the creek but saw that there was a less muddy path from the road near the culvert. Lerft a TB.
