Off to an early start on the way to Dowerin with BJA3 for a sports event and couldn.t help but stopping here to find this one.
I was told about it at our last WestOz meeting so today was the perfect opportunity to stop and look for it.
All good here, TFTC ZED!!

Destination Minnivale and what has become a tradition of sorts... BYO Marshmallows number V. Some fun with friends around a camp fire sharing some drinks, some hint, some tall stories and plenty of laughs.
Day two off with 3 car out on the road picking up caches here and there.
I'm with Kyzabra, the fitzys, Granett, Cirrus_WA, SVKR and sir fancy
The plan today is loose, no real plan just Caching with mates.

Spent last night in minivale and decided to head out today with Allied_OZ, Granett and SVKR_WA and The Fitzys for a day grabbing some nearby caches. Plan initially was Dowerin, then Wyalkatchem then wherever. Sir Fancy and Cirrus_WA joined us for the morning as well.
Always on the hunt for archived caches and spotted this on my list. Happy to say came up trumps and made a find.
Many thanks to ZED! for placing and maintaining While ya cachin'. I was here at 10:08 am on Saturday and this is my find 9650.

Was pointed a few metres from GZ but after having a look around a likely hide spot was determined and we worked our way around to it.
Once there I spotted the cache and we were able to complete the find.

Woke up bright and early and had a slow morning around the campsite.
Had a bit of chat about plans for the day and joined up with SirFancy, Kyzabra, AlliedOz, Granett, SVKR_WA & Fitzys.
Started off heading into Dowerin before making our way across to Wyalkatchem.
We turned north towards Koorda so I was able to tick off a new LGA. After stopping in town for lunch we made our way back to camp and waited for everyone else to arrive for a fantastic marshmallow event.
Had a ball out and about today with 26 finds.

Thanks ZED! for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 3375 for me.

Out and about in the Central Wheatbelt area this weekend on a mission to grab some missing LGA's. After 1200 odd K's, 43 finds, a few DNF's and two nights under the stars, it was mission accomplished.
Parked up nearby and soon spotted the container but couldn't reach it. Had to try a different approach to actually lay my hands on it.
ZED! I found your cache at 8:17am, this was the 3rd of 21 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5878. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

After two surgeries in the last two months, then getting bad news about more plus getting things done at home I thought it was time for a short getaway to recharge the mind so Mr dimor chose the location for a change and that happened to be Dowerin for three nights
Today was our day to 'spread our wings' a little and head to Wylie to cache.
After lunch at the local servo (the only place open) we came to get the info needed to work this one out. After using fingers to make sure I added right we headed off to GZ for the last cache of the day.
Mr dimor drove me as close as he could and I then made the very short walk to the cache.
A nice quick find on a warm day

Appears that the wall may have shifted but once we located the information the calculations were quickly made. One of the highlights of the day was signing the log on this archived cache.

Day 14 of our Adventure to the northern Goldfields and now in the Wheatbelt. Moving from Bruce Rock to Wyalkatchem toady, via Quairading and Tammin. Such fun doing, then finding, an archived cache all in good order! TFTC!
A two day trip to the wheatbelt to tackle the ever growing number of green and orange dots on the map and cleanup some archived caches that are still in play has been on the cards for a very long time, just the timing has never been right!
With these new wheatbelt science trail caches being published and the two of us having a rare Saturday off we decided to meet in Northam before heading off for a full days caching.
We started off a bit slow needing to fuel in Northam before heading to kellerberrin and then to the northern wheatbelt to cleanup a few FTF opportunities.
We got to Keller Fella as the locals call it and missed the FTF by around 25 minutes.
From Kellerberrin we headed north towards Mikinbudin, Bencubbin, Koorda, Wyalkatchem, Goomallinh and finally we said our farewells again in Northam.
It was a huge day out today with 18 finds, around 800km on the clock, 5 FTFs and 3 archived caches. We saw some really nice features of the wheatbelt and have made a nice dent in the nearly 100 unfound caches we have still got to collect out this way.
Special thanks to the local and not so local COs for their caches, very much appreciated in these parts of Western Australia!!

Wheatbelt caching is some of my favourite caching, well anything away from the noise, smell and hustle of the city is great. The wheatbelt has it all, long drives, great scenery, brilliant sights, and interesting stuff at every turn.

Avoiding the rain in Perth we headed out for a day trip around the wheatbelt, finding a few caches along the way... We seem to be having a bit of trouble today with concentration & it took forever to work this one out. Not sure why as it really was quite simple lol With the newly calculated GZ, were were happy with our calculations so made our way to GZ for a quick find whilst the kids entertained themselves running through the creek nearby

Well talk about a delay in logging! Time has just flown by since I undertook this awesome LGA weekend with PommieParkin. Due to the delay, you will have to excuse the generic log.
PP2 enquired as to whether I would like to go on an adventure to get some more LGA's under our belts, to which I said of course! Set out on the Saturday to head up into the Wheatbelt for the weekend. We first stopped at Northam to do one or two of the Bristag caches I had heard so much good things about. Unfortunately we only managed one, but it did not disappoint!
From there we headed east through Meckering, Cunderdin and Tammin (knocking off a couple of LGA's). From there, we headed north to Wyalkatchem, stopping at a couple of interesting places for caches. I particularly enjoyed the stop at Yorkrakine Rock, it was such a beautiful spot.
We finally reached Wylie, where we were staying the night. Before the day was over we completed the wonderful series by WebblyWA, which gave us a great tour of the town. Once the caching was over, we met up with WebblyWA at night and had the pleasure to experience a drive-in cinema in Koorda, which was conveniently another LGA
On the Sunday, we finished off the caches we had on our list in Wylie and headed west towards Dowerin, where WebblyWA had another series. It was another great series and the final ended up being my 1000th cache found!
From there, we kept heading west to Goomalling for another LGA. This was where our LGA hunt was meant to stop. But, it was here that the LGA bug got to me and it became a case of "well if we just travel half an hour this way, we can get another LGA". So after little time spent convincing PP2, we headed north to Wongan Hills, stopping in Konnongorring for some great views at Gabby Quoi Quoi. Unfortunately, Wongan Hills cemetery was where we had our first DNF of the weekend, meaning our hopes of another LGA were riding on the one other cache in town. Luckily it was an easy enough find.
We then headed west towards Calingiri for one last LGA, stopping to admire Lake Ninan on the way (can't believe there isn't a cache there!). The cache in Calingiri was found, putting my total of LGA's found on the weekend to 8.
I had such an awesome weekend exploring this part of our great state. Many thanks go to the various CO's of the caches. But, I would particularly like to thank PP2 for suggesting the weekend, WebblyWA for some great series and Kyzabra for coming up with the LGA challenge, without which I probably wouldn't have explored this great area.

Another well set up multi here
I decided to pack the swag and head away for a 24hr road trip and made plans to head up north to grab caches in a few more counties for a challenge that I have my eye on completing . I scoped out a route that would give me 7 more WA counties and also targeted quite a few of the archived caches that are seemingly still in play [^]. I had a fantastic time caching up here and a huge thanks to all the CO's for the effort in placing the caches!
ZED! - jinta29 found your cache While ya cachin'. This is my find #6073 and find #12 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for the time and effort taken to place this cache!

Having run out of active caches around the farm, I have started on a few archived ones that still seems to be around. After collecting the co-ordinates I headed for the short drive which was on my way home. As I approached GZ I held my breath but after a quick search of a recent flood zone the cache was found not only alive and well but completely bone dry with the intact original log book from 2006. Love these old caches, and this was no different a nice easy multi if you read the description properly. TFTC ZED! Your caches maybe archived but they certainly aren't forgotten. Thanks for placing them,
Last Call!
This Geocache will be permanently archived in July.
Thank You to all who have enjoyed my tour of the Wheatbelt.

Not that it matters now but the wall should have been the listed coordinates or the listing should have been a puzzle. The definition of a multi is there is something to find at the listed coordinates but that hasn't stopped the 27, now 28, finders finding the cache and hopefully all enjoyed the experience. Container is OK and well protected.
Thanks ZED! for the cache.

Nice little puzzle. Pretty east and a nice hide at the end. TFTC TNLN. Worthy of a fav from me
I should really delete the previous two logs and ask them to be relogged because they contain a SPOLIER being the exact location of waypoint 2. But considering this geocache is on a time limit before it will be archived later this year I'll let it stand and explain why I'm bemused at the apparent lack of comprehension or is it simply a failure to read the description and it's clues.
When I set this cache up I asked theUmp if it was a mystery or a multiple based on the philosophy behind why I wanted to do it as I have, we settled on multiple. The coordinates are NOT wrong, they are precisely where I want you to start in the layby.
Short Description:
"Offset Multi 2L clip top hidden below trunk of fallen tree" - take note of the word "Offset" It means what you're looking for isn't at the published coordinates.
Waypoint ONE: The published coordinates.
"Coordinates will find you at the tourist layby in town" - it does NOT say at the wall. As in any multiple, you need somewhere to start the adventure, this is where I chose to start you on your way, it's adjacent the toilet block which can be useful after a longish drive.
Waypoint TWO: The Pioneer Wall.
"To find the physical cache you will need to locate the Pioneer Wall" - are the directions to the SECOND way-point which is located within the layby. The structure can be plainly seen from the start coordinates and you can drive right up to it and solve the puzzle without getting out of your vehicle.
Waypoint THREE:
Where the box is hidden. Easy really, solve the puzzle at waypoint two for the final coordinates and a spoiler is found in the short description.
Now you might argue why have the first leg? Because I do not want you to mindlessly zip though town and not take in the surroundings, also, the toilets.

Have to agree with blingg... the co-ords for WP1 do need checking, as the co-ords listed, whilst they put you in the layby, place you in front of a small fountain, not the honour board which IS about 100 metres away, at S31 10.876 E117 22.941.

Still bimbling around out in the Wheatbelt with The Machman although now we are definitely heading towards home.
Parked in the carpark and only half read the cache page [B)] There were other people using the gazebo but that didn't matter we were just
looking for information. Well after not finding the information we reread the cache page and soon enough found where the info was.
Sat in the shade to calculate the co-ords and luckily we came up with the right distance on our first go.
Drove over to our GZ and soon enough had the cache in hand.

On a weekend Camping trip, heading East to the Goldfields with the Felix duo, hoping to fill in some gaps on the "The Well-Travelled and Aged Cacher Challenge". (GC3TR3M).
Ended up traveling over 1500Km over three days, so a fantastic road trip.
Another pleasant stopping place, with a decent road house just round the corner.
gathered the info quickly enough and headed off to GZ to make the find.

Found a bit further away than where I had GZ, but nonetheless, another smiley! TFTC
Hardest part of the cache for us was finding the wall, however after we did, we quickly did the math and set off to find the cache. SL TNLN TFTC

Were not sure what is going on this Easter and although it was 5.30pm on Good Friday there were two council workers hard at work cleaning up the area around wpt1. This didn't affect retrieving the information at all plus a bit of other information about this community. We then did the math's and headed off to gz where we found the cache right where the GPSr said that it should be.
Thanks ZEDI for putting it together

Nice simple little multi, having a ball on a two day trip in the area.....love it up here and abouts.
TNLNSL..Many thanks.

An easy find, though the cache was very well concealed - some things just don't belong there do they? We had just called into Wyalkatchem for a tummy and tank stop on our way through towards Wongan Hills and other points further north, and finished the cache on the way out of town. TN-LN-SL, Thanks to Rod for the cache.
Finished work and decided to do a quick hunt before the sun went down. Not too difficult - thanks!
Went and had a beer (or few), grabbed a room for the night, and a meal from the pub. Have to head in to work again at midnight to re-arrange some local telecommunications circuits, then back to the big smoke 2moro.

Finaly on our way home after a quick trip around the region. We got to town and sunday is not the best time to meet country people. It seemed that the whole town had shut up for the weekend. We saw no one at all except someone in the garage. There wasnt even cars driving past.
The pub looked inviting but it was locked and silent. Oh well at least we didnt spend any money.
Decoding was easy and we did it while resting against the Pioneer Wall. We found the cache on our way out of town.
Didnt do any swaps as the swap bag is getting to messed up to find anything.
Thanks for the cache. Next time we are out here will will go to the pub for a bite and beer

Still trying to get to Bencubbin, all these caches along the way are distracting. Yes, the named person was probably one. TNLN T4TH
Spotted by eagle eyed geokid by the light of her headlight after other geokid missed it with the spotlight !!
I wrote in the cache log but forgot to write in mine so I can not remember what we left but the kids say we took a rubber - sorry eraser and a pen.

I found the wall then toddled off to GZ. When I got there I thought I had done the maths wrong until I spotted something not quite right. I couldn't find an easy way to GZ so I just pushed through the foliage with only a couple of broken twigs. Left a TB
