I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Wandering around the Sydney harbor area seeing a lot of the tourist stuff, and finding a few caches along the way. Liked how some of the old building are still here. It gives a feel for how it might have been many years ago. TFTC

10-Apr-18
Went on a 7.5 mile run this morning picking up caches, enjoying the Australian morning, and using up energy before long flight back to Michigan. I should be able to pick up caches both here and Michigan in the same day. Let's see how far that will be.

Our cruising trip ended in Sydney. Found this cache nearby so wandered down for a look having disembarked. A lot of stuff going on in the area - construction work, loading/unloading cruise liners, you name it. Managed to find a gap in the traffic and made a quick find. TFTC Philma.

Nice afternoon to go find a couple more caches. Easy find here while looking at the cruise ship in port. Tftc.

So so easy to retrieve, but like others have noted, one needs patience for this one. We enjoyed the view whilst we waited a while. A worthy cache for our 650th.

We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event and found ourselves spending a few days in Sydney Wink While we were there, we made sure to allow some time to search for a few specific caches which would help us to fulfill some challenges we had set ourselves Razz

We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.

Thank you Philma for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Cool

After tendering ashore from the Celebrity Solstice, doing some sightseeing & shopping and grabbing a bite to eat we were fortunate enough to find this cache on our way back to the tender dock. We managed to do it in stealth mode, even though the RCCL Voyager of the Seas was docked nearby.

Another find on a morning run with amazing views of the bridge and opera house. Too many muggles around and a cruise ship in the way.

20-Feb-18
This was cruise day for me and the Norwegian Jewel. While I was looking forward to seeing new places, I regretted having to leave Sydney. Oh well, a trio of last minute caches helped dull the pain...

This was my second find. I’d dropped off my luggage so I was free to search high and low (and I did). Eventually I found the right level...and my smilie. Thanks for a sneaky cache with a great view.

18-Feb-18

15-Feb-18
I came here with der_Honk and muggle Dosi. The cruise ship "Voyager of the Seas" parked near to GZ.
I found this one after some short search.

I had never set foot in Australia, it's stupid but it seems really far, Until Christmas 2016 where my daughter tells us that she will live two years in Melbourne, And here is a holiday scheduled for February 2018 (the good season for South East Australia)
For three days we visit the cultural capital of Australia, with its large glass towers, beaches, street art and the Chinese New Year bonus Then we visit
Then we head for Phillip Island where we meet our first kangaroos, little penguins and breathtaking landscapes. Walking is the best way to explore the Wilsons Promontory Nature Reserve. Nicknamed 'The Prom' by locals
A small flight by plane and here we are in the financial capital of Australia Sydney for three days with his famous opera his Sydney Tower of 309 m and his famous bay visited by boat We will make a small detour by the Blue Mountain before joining Melbourne by the coast through Australia Rock and our first seals and the Kiama Blow Hole
for the sequel will be the famous "Great Ocean Road" with the twelve apostle, Apolo bay and the peroquets that eat us in hand at Kafe Koala
Head to the Grampians with its waterfalls, aboriginal hinges and steep cliffs where we can see our first emus
Another plane ride to land in Hobat with 25 ° on the market and 6 ° at the top of Wellinton Mountain and 90km of wind We leave Hobart for the National Park Freycinet and its beautiful beach Winglass Bay and its 1250 steps to arrive at Cradel Mountain we have to walk more than four hours to get a woombat, The highlight of our trip will be the 3 hour boat ride on Brunny Island with its cliffs, seals and albatrosses, and a little white valabi on the way back

Somehow we managed to neglect logging this find on with the others we found around Sydney Harbour on this date. We were there and so were heaps of muggles so we had to use stealth when retrieving, signing and replacing this cache. We only have a couple of others to find now to complete the Geotour series. Thanks to Philma for these caches placed around Sydney to give cachers an appreciation of the beauty and the history of this wonderful city.
