Bit of a mission, suggest shoes not flip flops. Needs attention, container broken
Long weekend road trip out to the Wheatbelt to finish off a series I started last year and also pick up some extras along the way. Stopped off here on the way into Northam. Great to find an oldie, but also an interesting area to explore. The final stretch of track had some pretty decent washouts so left the car at the main parking area and enjoyed a short walk down to the spring. We've only just had the first decent winter rain so still no standing water here... but at least it was no longer smelly! Skirted around the pond in case it was softer than it looked, and was soon at GZ. Rocks here didn't look too promising so moved to higher ground and was pleased to spot the cache straight away. Took a walk on the bouncy bridge on the way back to the car. Lovely spot - thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Found but the swamp is very dry and quite smelly. Hopefully its nicer in winter. With Caperdoodle 2.
Out with The Machman again at the Northam event. Grabbed this on the way home. TFTC
Heading out to Northam from Perth for the Magic Maker Event…. Tackling caches on route. Nice to find an older cache - Thanks for bring us here .
Quick walk across the bridge to this one, pretty surprised how many people were camping here, TFTC
Day 1 of WAGB22 week, the plan was to go to Northam and do a few along the way including KEP Series near Clackline and the walk up the hills in Bobakine Nature Reserve. Did some GG Series but had to miss a few and some missing in the roadworks sections.
66 Finds and 4 DNF, and 1 not willing to swim in the Avon.
Thanks to all the CO’s for their hides and maintaining the series.

Bit of a scramble. Lovely spot, on a little getaway, Moora-here-Stockton Lake-Waroona-Ellenbrook. Tftc

We had a trip planned for this neck of the woods in March but the ‘Rona virus put a halt to that and we have only just got around to booking some free time to get away from home. This cache was one we targeted for our two day mini-adventure, cheers and TFTC.
G’day there shenbot, I was in this area today and found your cache Sprung GCXFR3. I added my name to the log book at 11:28 am on 7 October 2020. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

A wet and windy day! Lachlan1.77 and I were meant to fly to York in the little bugsmasher, but we decided that a day caching in the car would be more pleasant. So we headed off east of Perth into the hills. Lots of good finds today, with some great spots visited!
Tiger777 and I were going to be flying out to White Gum Air Park for the weekend for the Westfly aviation fly in. However, strong winds and at times driving rain made it an unpleasant weekend to fly and camp. So we opted for Option B. Hitting the road for a few caches to guide our journey East today.
Was difficult locating the GZ as the phone was a little jumpy. But I sorta guessed where it would be and we made some in roads and located the large plastic jar. Put our name on one of the paper scraps in the cache. Cheers shenbot!

Night hunt for this one.
Staying in Northam after a weekend of camping at Elachbutting Rock and Kwolyin. Collecting some smileys before heading home. Armed with Megam01 who is much more nimble and capable of acrobatic moves - youth on her side. Thanks to all the COs for placing the caches for us to enjoy.

Took a while to find this one as the gps was jumping around. But found safe and dry. TFTC
As were are staying in the area we thought we would tackle some of the local caches along the Kep Track and pipeline as well as a few others. The co-ords for some gave a general indication of where GZ was, but caches for some were found quite some metres from that point. It was an interesting day's hunt, along with ilook4geo, with some finds being more challenging.
The caches which took us to places where there was signage about the local history were really appreciated.
Thanks go to Shenbot and Albino Surf for this cache placement.

Today we were trying to pick up some caches, with goingplaces2, that were not too far off the roads and were reasonably accessible. Logs were signed, all containers were put back. We had a fun day. TFTC.
We dropped in to this nice spot today while driving around and decided to check on the cache while we were here. It had water in it so I emptied it out and let it dry for a while. Wrote a note in the log then re-hid it properly as it was very exposed. Cheers
We headed out to continue on the KEP series and any others along the way today with Neva2old, happy to say we came up trumps and claimed the smilie here TFTC
Out and about with Parkacruz getting some more of the kep done and some others along the way, we couldn’t find the bridge but we did find the cache TFTC
I took the low road, he took the high road & he got to Scotland before me, so to speak. TFTC Shenbot and Albino Surf
Nice stroll for the geokids. Cache found easily signed replacement log as the original is in very poor condition. Tfttc
TFTC. What a lovely spot, camped here the night on our way out of Perth for Easter
Fantastic spot for a cache - came with my partner, dad and sister's partner (who lives nearby in clackline and had never been here!). Original log is saturated and very moudly, so we put in a new snaplock bag, some bits of paper and a pen - hopefully so long as the snaplock stays closed the contents should remain dry! TFTC
Start of a road trip around oz. our first cache. Abit damp so didn't write our name
We got within 20m but have to confess a huge spider's web got the better of us. We will return when we have Super Dad to protect us .
Wow this cache has been located here for over 10 years! Might be due for a facelift Log book is very wet and mouldy.
TFTH Geo T (robroy_co) and I went in search of the cache. Lovely sunny day out and about caching with family. Lovely area, very peaceful with the nearby water and "bridge" which we crossed. Geo T made the find and signed a rather wet log. Thanks for brining us to the area Shenbot and Albino Surf.
Geo T and magpie51 made the find! Such an unusual location for a picnic spot, wonder how many people know it is here?! Crossing the water was an adventure in itself! The cache is in need of repair, the log book has definitely seen better days! TFTC
Enjoying a holiday in Perth with tmann421 and collecting a few caches along the way.
Another great find here. TFTC

Last time we were in Australia and spend our holiday in the western part of the country – that was fantastic!
We landed in Perth and from this great town we went to the east and the north – we were on the Wave Rock, in Kalgoorlie, in Nambung Nationalpark, on the Hutt Lagoon, in Kalbarri NP and on the Shark Bay.
All the time we visited there the main attractions – but we wanted to do our hobby (geocaching), too.
So we looked for the boxes next to the highways and on all the wonderful places during our tour.
Here we could found the box very well - the logbook is very wet, we say thanks to the owner and thanks for the cache.

Found it. Though the container seems to have gotten water in it so its all moldy on the inside so we didn't sign it.
This cache needs maintenance. Log book all mouldy and falling to pieces. Put a piece of paper in it. Thanks pug002.
Found it pretty quick... Parked way too far away though! Also, the logbook is damaged from water and is mouldy, so we wrote on the bag instead. Photo as proof too. Thanks, was a good location!
Nice spot. Log was a bit wet and forgot to bring a spare. Wrote our usernames on plastic bag in container. Tftc
headed out with the geohubby early this morning to grab some caches. We left at 5AM and headed out to York, Northam and Wundowie and picking up some other caches along the way. Didnt realize it was going to be so hot today so a few got taken off the list that involved walking but we still managed 32 finds and no DNFS so not a bad days effort. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few tricky ones that took a bit of searching. TFTC
Great spot, Out caching at night with lightning in background. Found without difficulty but log is wet. I put it in snap lock so it doesn't get worse. Hopefully next to find can spend some time drying itit out TFTC
Pulled up in the parking lot to find out exactly how this one got its name.
Hahahaha SPRUNG!!! If the muggle van is a rocking!!

This area was a nice surprise to find. There were quite a few campers around, however we managed to locate the cache without sighting any muggles. Found with the Fabulous Panda. TFTC
Another hidden gem of a location.
Log was wet and mouldy but we didn't have another one to swap it with.

What a great spot this is. Another hidden gem of a place I wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for geocaching. I wasn't expecting a bbq and facilities here. That little bridge was great. The cache was an easy find after a short walk, but there was a lot of water inside and the log book was very soggy. I emptied the water out and signed the log book just as it started drizzling. I replaced the cache then made my way back taking photos of the water hole along the way. I realised I had lost my pen, so I went back and found it on the far side of the little bridge, but of course it started raining harder by then so I ended up getting quite wet. I then waited in my car for a while as it really poured down and I could barely see out the windscreen. Thanks for bringing me here shenbot and for placing this nice cache for us all to find and enjoy. This one deserves a favourite point.
Headed out for a bit of a drive with the kids & we stopped to find this one on our travels... We have driven past several times, but I wasn't quite sure of the best access point, so today I thought we would suss it out Turns out, I got it right & we found the track to this hidden gem [^]
What a surprise we got as we were not expecting facilities, then the kids just loved the little bridge! The gizmo seemed to go a little crazy once we were close & had us do a big loop before narrowing down the obvious spot, where Master 4 made the find
Thanks for bringing us here shenbot... Places like this is the reason we love geocaching, well done Sadly the container was wet & the contents were soggy & mouldy... We removed all the soggy stuff & gave the logbook a bit of a dry in the wind before replacing it back in it's spot.

Beautiful place to find a cache!! Nice little hide but the container and log book is all wet. TFTC and the lovely views and strolls.
No view here today the fog was so thick I could barely see the path, the spider webs looked amazing though. The log book is quite damp but still intact. Thanks for a great location she bot!
Found it! Such a nice spot, was a little damp though so may need maintenance
A nice first find early in the cool morning. On our way to ozmega so a great start. Nice bridge but not much water. Love the motorbike frogs but didn't hear any today. TFTC
Pagan wouldn't swim across for it but eventually we found the track and made a quick find. A lovely spot particularly with everything else so dry at the moment.
Thanks shenbot
Thanks shenbot
I found this log on my gps not yet published, sorry for being so late! Heading east from Perth and some nice caches to find along the way. But this one was better than nice - WOW! What a wonderful spot! We loved it, and so hidden from the highway which is right there! A really great secret that this cache showed us TFTC very much!
Stopped here on my way to the event in Northam. What a lovely spot this is and without geocaching would have never seen this.
Log is a bit damp.

What a stunning spot! Yet another place we would never know existed if it were not for geocaching! We took a longer (and wetter!) path than necessary but it was a quick find once at GZ. Worth a favourite point from us. Will have to return for a picnic one day. TFTC
A great spot this. Would never have come here were it not for this geocache. Don't stop on the highway, by the way; use the car park at the signposted picnic spot.
The rain has got into the container and the log is a bit damp. Had a go at drying it out. T4TC!

Great spot!! We know this area quite well and this is the first time we have ever seen this lovely spot! Thanks for a great cache
Great place we never knew was here. Thanks for retrieving it hubby. Took arm band TFTC.
Found by my husband (my footwear was not really suitable for clambering on rocks ) - he was wary of snakes, but didn't see any fortunately but was bitten by a nasty bug that caused an instant reaction. I took a little musical shaker to give to my youngest granddaughter. TFTC
Found on my way to Northam for the 100year centenary for westfarmers. With Itskate.
On our way to the Wesfarmers 100 year celebration in Northam with cravo10 and his mother, picked up a few caches along the way and showed mumma CK what geocaching is all about! Tftc
Note to one self, when bush walking dont always watch gps lol HUGE spider webs= instant ninja
Travelling east from Perth, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
The cache was an easy find, and in good condition.
Many thanks for the hunt today, shenbot.

Drove caravan into high picnic area, then walked down to lower picnic area to start searching. Knew we were close when we saw the rocks. Found pretty quickly. Glad we saw no snakes. What a pretty picnic area and walking trail.
Took "Talking Ben", Left Jesters Rattle (that we found at Bremer Bay)
