My partner and I are on a road trip from the NSW/Vic border to WA for a wedding. We are collecting caches as we go and seeing lots of interesting places we have never visited. This cache hadnt been found for 18 months and I nearly didnt stop to look for it. After a short search the cache was found however the container is slightly broken and there was a large black spider inside. I have replaced the plastic bag to keep the log dry but the container may need replacing in the near future.
Visiting Lincoln as we're passing thru thought we'd find a few caches.

This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
Today, our plan was to head to the west side of Eyre Peninsula to Coffin Bay, and have lunch there. We enjoyed kilpatrick oysters (hopefully fresh?), before making our way north through Mount Dutton Bay, Farm Beach, and Coulta, and calling into Greenly Bay. We then looped back east through Koppio and Whites Flat, stopping off for a steep hike to North Block also. An enjoyable day to be out and about, with highlights being the coastal towns and views, and hills hike.
A quick find whilst driving the nearby road back to Port Lincoln. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Mr Walker for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found nice and easily, and with great interest after doing the nearby ‘ghostly farmer’ cache last year. Brrr. Tftc Mr Walker.
Beautiful spot and great story. I can imagine someone sleeping on a cart while the horse took him home. Thankyou
Our second DAY IN Pt Lincoln and it was time to focus on caching in Lincoln itself and potential surrounds. It was a cold and grey day interspersed with rain, which was a bit of a downer when compared to the sunshine of the last few days. Despite this we were able to still able to make a good day of it, finding over 50 caches, though it was also a day of quality as well with some higher terrain caches as well. It was an enjoyable day as we were able to tick off some earmarked caches before we finally finished up at around seven.

Have tried several times to find this. Finally I have it. So much easier in daylight
My Dad grew up on a farm at Koppio in the early 1900's and often told us the "ghostly story" of the phantom farmer. His version said that the wagon ended up at the Tod Mouth after sinking in this pool.

Will try and check this soon. It was under a natural feature and so may have been bull dozed.
We gave this a go today but a lot of the trees have been removed and heavy machinery has leveled a lot out. May this be checked please. I will try another day as i am out there often
