Out and about caching in Merredin and surrounds for the weekend with Meme28, I C Nothing, Cirrus_WA and Sir Fancy. Some logs signed as MICKS. TFTH!
One day behind sammiiej and MitchDem, and happier to be looking during the day rather than at night! Plenty of cars on the highway driving past - waved at a couple, never know when it's a fellow cacher driving past. After the DNF in town, I was given even less time to search. Luckily magnetic nano's stand out a bit when you're used to looking for them! Log is pretty full (as already noted and previously reported), don't see any advantage in reporting it again.
After a lovely morning watching day 1 of the Avon Descent with my photography club I headed off to pick up a few caches around Toodyay and Northam. On the drive back home I stopped off here as a quick diversion to add another smiley to the map I reckon a few passing cars wondered why I had such an interest in these sculptures but thankfully it was a very quick find in the first place I checked. No spiders either which was a bonus! Log is full but managed to squeeze in a mark. No spare nano logs on me though, sorry. A nice quick find TFTC
Out of Perth for the arvo to get some caches. Quick find here. Signed log and put back. Thanks for the hide
A quick find by Pete after we went hot air ballooning in Northam as part of my 40th present from Pete. Log is full.
Driving past here this morning I thought there must be a geocache here.
Took me a while. Finally found the cache and it’s spider guardian.
The log book it now completely full.

Having been staying in Perth for some time, it was decided to move a little further on and we headed out along the Great Eastern Highway with ilook4geo. The caching list had some caches to be found along the route as far as Northam.
This was a nice quick and easy find and two signatures were soon on the log. Thank you richlink for this cache placement.

We were on the move again, caching with goingplaces2 as we head slowly east. Found some caches along the way and were happy with the smileys gained. Nice find here. TFTC.
This one had us searching for ages, until rechecked a spotted we had both searched previously. So with the log signed and returned it was back on the road for our night caching our way to Kal. TFTC Shenbot.
Eastward bound! Axell33 and I hit the road headed for Kalgoorlie this time. Keen on the caches ahead of us, which are plenty, no time limit and we're in the dark! A long search here, until we researched. The log is full here, but managed to make a small mark. Thanks for the cache.
Found cache after quite a search but decided not to try and take out the log as previous finders have said it's full. Have sent co i PC to prove find. TFTC
Heading back to Kalgoorlie for work and decided to leave a little earlier so I could get in a few caches along the way. This was #4. TFTC

Out and about with Parkacruz and eventually Themongrel to tackle a few more of the Kep series and a few others on the way. The rain held off although temperature gauge said 3 degrees at one stage and the seat warmers set to toasty we had a great day Tftc.
Fairly quick find but log book is full - managed to squeeze my log entry into a little bit of space. TFTC!
Out with the geokids collecting some of the month hidden caches we need. Quick find. As others reported log book needs replacing, sorry I did not have a micro log on me. Tftc
Second cache for the day heading back East. Log book is full plus as there is some writes on it. Sorry don't carry tiny logs. SL TFTC
Spiders! The one pictured is the "friendly" sort the whole structures are seething with red backs as well
Met up early this morning with ssclan with the plan to ride as much of the KEP trail as we could before the rain arrived. Armed with a coffee from DOME we arrived around 7am in Chidlow. With 2 cars we took the second to Wundowie and then headed back to Childow to start the ride.
Great morning with only the 1 DNF, arriving in Wundowie by bike around 11:45am, just as the drizzle set in. From there it was a tour of several of the caches around the town followed by a couple on the way back to Chidlow.
Ended the day with 55 finds, so a great day out. Loving the KEP trail, another 36 completed today but still plenty to go.
Thanks to Jasenjanine for this great series, and for the inventive puzzles and other caches around Wundowie
Wasn't until I had my head in the right place that it came into sight . TFTC

Heading up the hill with Pommie Parkin2 to Northam and this was our first stop. PP2 made the quick find and it took teamwork to sign and replace the log given the wind who was trying very hard to take the little log away but we got there and after only 1 cache I am already in the gutter! [:p]

WebblyWA persuaded me to make the long Trek to Northam for an Event.....and that's a whole different story! We met up on route & decided too try for a few caches in Wundowie before the Main Event....or should I say the Non Event! This was our first & a reasonably quick find. TFTC
Had a look around with no luck. Not prepared to poke around among the spiders this time.
Another fun find with Just-Lookin.
*We really enjoyed the drive around this area.*
