As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Hey All, This one has slipped under my radar. Sorry to all who have DNF'd this cache, will check it out on my next trip to the area.
We also found the GZ empty. Looks like it's muggled. Could you check and let us know as we will come back at a later stage. Thanks kaztrekka. This one not Found on our 50/50 (found3 didnt find 3) Tour of Maldon fathers day 2009.
What a pity this cache could not be found. A great little out of the way area. On our way home from holidays in Victoria and stopped off for a coffee. Bought a "Scratchy" and went for the hunt. Went back and sat down for a coffee which was really good, scratched the "Scratchy" with ZERO results. NO CACHE NO WIN. At least the coffee was good
DNF this today. Looked in what was a very likely place, but alas it was not there. Since a few others have had no luck, perhaps this one has gone astray?
Had no luck here after two searches, the 2nd time with reinforcements. We were sure we were in the right spot (as per the map and the blackberries and hope it hasn't been muggled!). The forest boy had to itch his own scratchy!
First of 4 Fozzy caches for the day at 1pm, while Geomum shopped, we cached. ! Quick find.

A quick find and the last one for our New Years weekend with the Dragonfreys caching in and around Bendigo. Though we found it quickly we stood around for a while due to the plums on the tree being ripe and delicious. TFTC. TNLN.
Found with Razz'l'Dazz'n'Co. Interesting idea for a cache but not realizing the theme we didn't have any scratchies with us so TNLNSL. The plums overhead were delicious.
First cache for our Christmas Caching outing... was great to see what was behind the main street... groaned when we saw the drain... TFTC.. didn't have pen so couldn't fill in log book... took pic instead...
There were no scratchies in there today so we left the lucky $1000 winning ticket in there for the next cacher
Great idea.
Great idea.
Nothing to scratch inside but as we didn't have a replacement it didn't really matter. TNLN. Thanks from Greg and Bev
Been meaning to do this cache for a while, and today was the day. I arrived in Maldon nice and early, hoping to have a look through a few antique shops. Alas, it appears that the owners are rather slow getting out of bed, as even though it was a Saturday there was not one antique shop open when I left town at nearly 11am!
Had a bit of a poke and a prod at GZ and came up with the cache. Only the log book is left unfortunately, and I didn't have any coins or scratchies to restock it. Signed the log at 10:40am. Thanks anyway!

Located on a day visit to Maldon. Got caught up in the prickles while searching for cache. Came prepared for a swap but there are no scratchies in the cache!
While the rest of the crew visited the lolly shop, I found the cache just a short walk from Geoson's school camp.
Thanks fozzy778. TNLNSL
Thanks fozzy778. TNLNSL
Found after a bit of a search as we thought we were in the wrong spot at first. Could be tricky after heavy rain.
Had no swaps and no pen so didn't sign the log.
Thanks for the find

Caches and cemeteries go together so well. So much history and stories hidden amongst the gravestones. Another pleasant resting spot in the bush Our 5th of 12 finds for the day. In worker (with a shovel!) out necklace, SL TFTC
Managed to get a scratch from a local blackberry bush; other than that I made no swaps! Thanks for the cache.

The 6th of our Maldon Meander. Parked on the main road and wandered through to the quickly found cache site, this one with the possiblity of riches! Paid our $1 and won nought, oh well there's always next time! Scratchys now need to be renewed as the one we used was the last.

No scratchies on me either, but someone will need to go and invest the $2 in the cache on more scratchies soon.
Thanks,

Found this one fairly quickly. It was quite interesting to see the back street instead of the fancy front view that we usually get. TNLN as we had no scratchy. TFTC

Found at 10.15am GAFF5 on our Coromal Cairn Curran Campaign in the company of Ian & Penny and a group of 4 muggle friends and family. We rolled into town looking for a Century battery dealer as our battery had apparently died. No one in town could help - which was not surprising for such a small and quaint little place. In the meantime the rest of the crew headed to seek their fortune with scratchies, but came back with hopes dashed. Thanks fozzy 778.
Been down this back path before and its still quirky.took awhile for myself and Alansee to located the stash in its clever hide. Thanks fozzy778.
An interesting spot in a lovely town. Farmers5 came up with the goods in a spot that I had already looked! No swaps and as we were doing the deed a family came past but did not question what we were doing where we were. Perhaps they are used to it? Thanks once again fozzy778, your efforts were really appreciated today.
Didn't have any cash for the cache. As I was putting it back some muggles came by, so you can imagine me trying to hide "you know where" [:o)] Thanks for cache.
What a great idea i came prepared and swapped a lucky stars $1 scratchie with a lucky 8's $1 scratchie and you wouldn't beleave it but i WON! nothing haha never mind theres always lotto thanks very much for the cache
Fourth of twenty-two cache finds in company with dak’s Emu Mob on our usual Wednesday assault; this week we chose Bendigo. The cache was found at 11:55.
An interesting piece of history, sure glad it was nice and dry as it made the find much easier. Thanks fozzy778 for the cache.

Fourth of twenty-two finds in company with acts2youthgroup in our latest 'clean up Bendigo' day. There are five caches in Maldon, and they've been on the list a couple of times, but we never seemed to get here. Today was the day, and this was the second of them. We found the cache at 1155 after a short search. I had wondered about the cache name, but this was clear when we opened the cache. I made no exchange. Thanks to fozzy778 for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Second for the day tackled this one from the low side, made it nice and easy.

Had no swap so I wasn't allowed to scratch. Was a bit of a temptation though since I left my last place of employment about eight months ago and just found out I missed out on a fat package. Doh.
Anyway thanks again Fozzy
Anyway thanks again Fozzy
It is always a concern, you think, if they need such big drains, how much rain must they get? Wishful thinking here I suspect.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
2nd of 8 finds for the day.
An easy find in a muggle free area.
Forgot to bring a scratchie, so TNLNSL

Great little spot that is accessible yet not so busy at least midweek anyway. TNLN I'm back to the main street for lunch!
Found on a day of touring around after the Fryerstown Fair. Sorry no suitable swap with us. Nice little back road, I just love peppercorn trees. Thanks for the cache. TNLN
Found 15:05, a nice easy find, but unfortunately we didn't have a scratchy to swap
TNLN, thanks fozzy778.
TNLN, thanks fozzy778.
DC+R 5.13pm Great hide, took 2 x $2 and left 2 x $2 and 1 x $1 scratchies. Won three dollars on one of the scratchies.
Found by Mary & David at 1720. We love coming back to this town. We weren't organised with a suitable swap, so TNLN. Our thanks to fozzy778 yet again.
An easy find except for a significant blackberry laceration. Took 4 x $1 scratchies and left 2 x$2 scratchies. Won $25 000 and spent it all at the lolly shop.

Easy find once the lady paining her shed went in to lunch. Found a similar cache in Hobart a while back. Made no swaps as I'm not a gambling man. did walk away with another geoscratch to the forearm to mark my visit. Thanks fozzy778 for this and your other new cache.
1:10pm: search commenced
1:25pm: Ouch! @#%@! What the? Found some thorn bushes, but no cache as yet.
1:40pm: Max!
1:41pm: Cache in hand. I wasn't the only one getting scratched.
1:43pm: Team Tandoori is $2.00 richer. Cha-ching!
Glad to see we were second to find for this well hidden and accurate cache! We loved the concept of this cache and may even adopt the idea for a future hide.
Left calling card and perhaps a big winner.
Well done Fozzy778!
The BBC coin paid this cache a short visit before ending up in Fozzy's first cache and then straight into the hands of Fozzy himself.

Found by Roma and Max.
Two new caches published close to home and the cache mobile always in a state of preparation, there was no excuse but to begin our search.
Excellent co-ordinates and the time of day was on our side, as most locals were probably preparing for their evening meal, with no one in sight while we searched.
We were pleased to find the unusual FTF prize, but are sad to report that we will still have to go to work next week.
We took the Prize and left our thanks Fozzy778, for this, the first of many we hope.
