Another of those caches we have always 'meant to stop and get', but either the time of the day or traffic level as we passed by has always precluded stopping.
No problems today, and cache readily found, signed and replaced.
Always love the right-up for this one!!

It looked like no flights today, gates were shut and no security about. that plane takes off very steep, all in good condition many thanks
My now five year old daughter wanted to go geocaching, among other things, on her birthday so I took the day off work and we had a adventurous day together with a picnic lunch, surprise presents along the way.
This was the first of our ten finds.

NZ MEGA is now all over. Heading home with time for a few park and grabs on the way.
Can't say that I've operated out of this airfield.

Another stop and a quick search found this. Warning! Don't lean on the fence - it is very rotten LOL!
TFTC. Almost overshot the runway and had to do an emergency landing. Once I'd checked in with Air Traffic control, was cleared for takeoff and on my way!

found it whilst out on our annual fly fishing trip up the Tongariro . Day 9 of the Geo cache August challenge
Our only find on the way to Wellington. The port seemed free of planes today. Not too much car traffic either, so quick find. Thanks for the cache....great to think it has sat there for 7 years!
Found it!Good cache, but very busy on SH 1 so had to pick my time to get this one.TFTC!!
3 day weekend? I like the sound of that! What's even better? 3 DAYS OF CACHING!!!
Destination sorted (to Wellington and back again), the bags are packed, the travel bugs are ready to travel and the GPSr is ready to show us the way.
Didn't even know this place was here! Quite a busy stretch of road on our way home so stook awhile to get it, away from prying eyes!
#9 for the day, 64 total for the weekend with a total of 1250 kms.

#569 Another Found on our trip trough New Zealand - TFTC Doro & Marco
Quick search and chec found it and we had our boarding pass most of the passengers were joined togfether by these fancy cuff things.
Another Skindo-like hide on our way back home with Ewelou & family, so a quick dash across the highway and an easy enough find.
No sign of Jetstar activity today. In fact, no sign of anything aerial other than the airfield sign itself on the gate.
TFTC P&P.

Hitching a ride and caching along the way. My brother is doing his monthly jobs in Taihape and Ohakune, so I'm taking advantage of the situation.
Didn't know what to expect at this location. This didn't look like an airstrip, but the cache was an easy find in traffic. Had to wait for the right opportunity to strike... and it was all over. TFTC.

Day 5 of our road trip to Auckland for Christmas. Sneaky wee hide. Thanks for the hide
My last cache for the day on the road back to Palmerston North. It's getting too dark to see!
Needs logbook, unless someone wants to put a bit of paper in there, any scrap of paper will do in the meantime.
Log book full. I looked in my supplies for a suitable replacement, but have used them all. Sorry.
Stopped at this one on the way north hoping to get a good view of the mountain as per the description, however, it appears that the mountainous view has been replaced with a view of pine trees. Hmmm. An easy find however, as the traffic north had thinned out considerably. Signed last remaining white part of log, which happened to be above the cache name. TFTC
Found quickly while heading home from a caching trip with tmann421, managed to find a place to sign TFTC
Neat little hide. Certainly was not tempted to cross the fence given the assertive sign noting that trespassers will not only be prosecuted but arrested as well !!
looks like it could be a bumpy ride. I really appreciated the humour in this placement. TFTC #3712

Eleventh of 13 finds on a day long drive from home to Te Puke. Quick find TFTC
We absolutely loved our drive down through the centre of the island today, amid such breathtaking scenery. Just gorgeous. And a cache or two as a bonus, thanks Punga and Paua.
#3124. Troodles didn't enjoy the steepness of the side road, but we managed to sign the log and get back on our way without too much trouble.
Not the best attempting this on the drive south, was tricky getting back on the busy road again.

I found it during our amazing holiday in Taupo and Rotorua region together with Simal. TFTC and greetings from Czech republic.
Missed the flight but found the cache on a very windy Friday while heading north. TFTC
There actually is a perfectly dry logbook in the plastic bag which you should have found when completing customs and passport formalities!
While we were here we re-attached the airport sign which was leaning over badly, the structure is getting a bit fragile and the baggage counter is rotting away so don't lean on anything please. Happy flying with Freedom Air! We hope you enjoy your flight.

Pulled in right next to it. One of us had it in hand before the other left the car.
Easy find. Log ruined totally soaked managed to sign but not well. Need maintenance ASAP. TFTC
