Just another call to see if anyone is keen to adopt this cache. It's been out of action for a while as I can't make it down to fix it. I don't like leaving it like this so if anyone's keen to take it on just let me know.
Droped in for a look at this one but didn't attemp a find as there were way too many muggles about. Didn't get the dectivation notice until a few days later but I am glad this cache took me here. It is a great lookout and a nice little town that I have driven past 15-20 times without even thinking about turning off the highway. Ceartainly worth putting another one in.
Thanks. SM

Gone again! It only lasted about 6 weeks this time unfortunately.
I can't get down here very much to fix this one.
I would be happy to pass this cache over to someone who might be able to keep it going so if anyone is keen to take it over just let me know or I think I will archive it.

Found the log sheet for this cache in the bushes...it's been muggled! Sorry, I didn't have anything to put back in place. Absolutely gorgeous views.
No sign of the cache today. Looked in all the obvious spots. Oh well, still a great spot for a stop.
523 Sure can see a great distance, pity it was a bit murky in the distance. TFTC azucar
It started to rain as we were heading from the cache. I guess they are trying for the authentic Scotland. TFTC.

Hi
Found the location unfortunatly the only thing we found was the lid of the cache and the pencil. Nice view and a bit disapointed that we could not log our visit here.

Apologies for the late logging of this cache - last year was manic. Its bringing back lovely memories though logging them on their anniversary.
This is a great place for a cache, and another area we would not have found if not for the cache. Yet another memory and talking point. TFTC!

I'm really sorry we're rubbish at posting logs, but we did find this one back last March when we were over visiting.
Mr Garmin would have had me way off in the scrub. Fortunately, I read the clue before starting to search. After that, an easy find.
Found at 1710 hrs. Magnificent views.
Find number 16 of my trip from Gladstone Qld to Newcastle, and return.

Great view coupled with a quick find. The nearby rock formation is also worth the stop. T4TC.
Back in action thanks to the efforts of eriond, who replaced the missing cache with one put together by warren9981.
Great to have some local cachers willing to lend a hand.
Many thanks fellas!!

Disabled until I can get down there to check it out as the last two to search came up with a blank. Apologies...
Couln't find this one. Recent work around the area has probably caused the cache to be removed.
Lightning and fire in the distance made this one a quick dash and do - surrounded by muggles on the hilltop retreat but valiant till the end in true scottish spirit!
A slight deviation from our north bound trip saw us claim this easy find. A quiet spot to check out an amazing view. Thanks for bringing us here. TNLN SL
Well I guess I found out what was under the kilt, found the cache easily, Great views. Thanks
On our way North to Brisbane. Stopped off for a caching break. Found easily, nice spot, great views, thanks for the hunt.

This was our first attempt at finding a cache! At first we got WAY off track, diving down into the bush with impossibly vague ideas about where it might be. With no GPS unit (am i allowed to admit that?) we were going off the marker on the map and it turned out to be very approximate. Remembering the clue made us re-think our assumptions - and after that it took no time at all! The scrapes and scratches were all in vain, but we still left feeling chuffed with our success. Och Aye!!
Great views. Work in town on occasion and have been wanting an excuse to get up here. Thanks!
7/7/07!
We were staying nearby at Yamba and came out here for a drive.
It was a glorious day today - clear skies and no wind and great views. Miss rogainer was very pleased with herself as she found the cache all by herself. No swaps for her as it is a micro.

Great view of the area had to wait until the muggles had left to retrieve the cache.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found this cache on our NSW cache sweep in company with Mr Cooroy Scouts.
Nice easy find - there were a few muggles in caravans neearby but we managed to grab the cache without being spotted. I'm sure they wondered though what we were doing with the torches!!!

A massive downpour started out of the blue as we arrived at GZ but team bloopy would not be deterred and grabbed the cache quick as a flash. Of course it stopped raining as soon as we had logged the find but still not much of a view because of the clouds.
A quick duck off the highway to nab this one. A pleasant drive up to the lookout with a great view all around. Micro found easy, which was good as it was getting late in the day. Few muggle cars about but did not see any - they might have been looking at the rocks. The light poles were also quite interesting to look at. SL. TFTC.
Its always good to get off the black stuff and have a break and since we'd driven past here many times it was wonderful to come up and check out the views.
Thanks

Arrived at the same time as a muggle with pram and geohound but managed to avoid being seen.
Great view and a nice place to stop.

Visiting a long lost friend in MacLean I told him all about caching and found that there was a geocache only a kilometer from where he lived..!
He knew exactly where it would be and we drove up to the lookout after visiting nearby Grafton and coming back via "Lawrence" (XC's surname.. No rellys here though)
An easy find.. shame it was a micro I would have liked his first to be a bigger container..
Signed the log.. No room for card even..
Beautiful views of MacLean and local area. Well worth the visit.

A great little town! I loved the tartans painted on the power poles around town.
Once we got to GZ we found the cache very easily and then quickly rehid it before anyone else came up here.

Nice little Scottish town. The Tartans painted on the power poles looked good. A nice easy find at 12 noon, although I had to wait until some muggles having lunch right at GZ had moved away. Signed log. On my way up to the Gold Coast then on to Mt Isa. Thanks for the cache azucar.
found with not too much trouble after the many muggles turned to look at the view (we were sneaky). Ms Ammneveragain was a little annoyed she couldn't find her tartan oh well. further down the road there is a fab rock formation.
Lots of Muggles about, but found it while KT was posing for photos, sneaky sneaky!
Thanks,
Thanks,
Great plaids! Few wrong turns but found it. Looked for something special to be under the kilts but found nothing, guess that is the answer. TFTC From USA but living in China here on holiday
Ama and I drove through town and checked out the general store before heading up to the lookout. Very clever idea with the tartans! We loved it. The lookout was spectacular, many thanks.
Was a nice stop on the way to visit Gran and Pa Hylton. Haven't been up there for years and forgot how nice it was there. TFTC
More tartan than I could poke a caber at around this town [:o]
A great view over the loch from the cache site too

On an earlier than planned trip back to Brisbane after camping at Lake Arragan - bad weather "forced" us out, called to find the cache. Although have visited the town numerous times before, we have not been to the lookout. Nice hide too. Thanks
Whoo hoo!! HawMorFords got a FTF on a quick visit on our way back home to Brisbane. (50th FTF for us !)
Although too dark (6.30pm) to enjoy the views, we saw the cane fires in the distance... and we enjoyed the quaint Scottish touches to this little town.
We look forward to driving through in the daylight hours on our next trip south.
Thanks for the cache.
