Cache is no more.

I approached this one from the wrong side and had to make a daring creek crossing. After I found GZ I realised that the recent rains had bought the creek level higher than the location of GZ. I pulled all of the flood refuse out from around GZ but there was no cache to be seen.

Again, another nice walk to find a cache. GZ was located after a little heartache....am I on the right side of the creek, but once the GPS settled it was all good.
No swaps, thanks for bringing me out this way

I was very surprised to find this cache within seconds of approach. There is a huge amount of undergrowth in the area and could have been very difficult.

Thanks The Garner Family for a lovely walk and the cache. TNLN.

Much better than the nearby cache. Find number 5 for the day (and last for this morning). Took beads. Left geocaching patch. TFTC.

Found with Tabmow68 and Tonino. Tonino, three-and-a-half years old really likes this "finding treasures" but is not so keen on having to leave some of his stuff as swaps.

09-Jun-07
Don't forget the Aerogard and have a good geocache. Found with Hawk01 and my 4YO. He enjoyed it immensely. Took some convincing that he had to leave something if he wanted to take something but got the hang of it.

Great fun.

#1 of 3 finds on the way to the airport. I had limited time, so I rang TGF to find out the best access. Obviously, I didn't listen properly, because it still took me two goes to get there. (There is no access available from the housing estate with the Private Propertysign at the entrance! As I neared GZ, I cycled the powere on my GPSr in an attempt to thwart the Magellan overshoot, and I found the cache before the it had acquired the satellites again. I nabbed the Geocoin. Thanks to The Garner Family for the cache. Cheers, dak.

A nice walk indeed, though I am intrigued by the "pedestrian roundabout" on the way there... TFTC! ='.'=

Walked on through from 'Vine' and a pleasant walk it was too. They have done some rejuvenation work in here which will enhance this area even further. It was testimony to how well previous cachers have hidden this one as there was quite a lot of empty drink containers at GZ which was still safe and sound in its hidey hole. TNLN Thanks TGF

We passed a very cachey looking pair of people on the way in to look for this one. When we arrived at GZ, the cache was an easy find. Just as well, as the hoards of mosquitoes almost drank us dry!

Took shell and left beads. Thanks for the cache.

This cache was find number 81 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.
We were here at 18:23 hours.

The light was starting to fade now. After being eaten at the last cache, we covered ourselves in mozzie repellant in preparation. On the way to this one, we looked quizzically at the roundabout in the footpath.
Found the cache but no kids (under a cabbage leaf).

Found whilst out for a walk. Probably best to have a look at the GZ location and work out which side of the creek to approach from. I tried the opposite side. Nice cool feet now! Smile

Nice easy find. I was just leaving the area and saw a MIB (man in black). Yes, it was Mr VWNuts himself. It was great to catch up as it's been a while since our paths have crossed. We exchanged geocoins and I left Graham to find the cache.

Nice way to finish off a day Smile
