No found logs since April. Owner maintenance log on April 1st promising maintenance over easter weekend but no follow up. I think this one needs to be archived
I was up early today and headed off to GZ. I had the place to myself but sadly this one had me stumped.
Found thanks to the previous entries. The log in this one is full and needs replacing.
Lovely spot. It would have been better if it wasn't in the regeneration area. TFTC

Found with Bedmaker today.
We enjoyed the little walk along the beachfront to GZ. This was a really lovely area.

Found with TassieGirl while in town for a short stop over.
After a short walk along the beach we soon saw the likely spot.
We looked in one spot then moved around to another and spied it.
Cache all good.
A nice spot too for a walk,

due to illness have been unable to get to caches, all will be maintained over the easter weekend
After visiting Fraser Island i stayed in Hervey Bay for 2 days. I enjoyed the caches with a long bikeride. Tftc
Had to read logs as co odds took me to the stump. Found cache exposed. So I signed log and tucked it away. TFTC.
A brisk walk from the nearby caravan park saw me hunting stumps. This clues threw me and resulted in a DNF. I then went to where I would hide a cache here and proceeded to find the thing in 1 second. Not a stump boys and girls. Delete the clue!!! Great spot in the morning.
Thanks to cfn69 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Easely found during our holiday tour through Australia (coming from the Netherlands).
Yaay, i found it. I'm from Denmark and travelling around Australia. Pretty fun if you don't know what to do
Found with Brother-in-law.
It was more like a log then a stump. ? Maybe someone moved it?

We introduced our Hervey bay froends to a DNF with this one. We're pretty sure we found the correct hiding spot but no container could be found.
Geo husband found it. TFTC. I didn't have a pencil so I couldn't sign the log. Took bouncy ball.
It took a little while to ensure I wasn't seen by people on the beach, but I found it eventually! I've managed to fit a green/pink superball in the cache but since there's not much space I'd recommend the next person take the superball with them
Not so sure about this one. Didn't like walking into the regeneration area.

On arriving in Harvey Bay this was the first and only cache found today and only had a set of co-ords and nothing else to go by.
After reading some previous logs I now know where the cache was originally as the location had that used look and also had a small stick in the hole.
Roostaman re-hid this guy in a new location so if this is the case then the co-ords will be out and may require a visit from the owner.
Before I left I placed some extra camo over cache.
Thanks cfn69 for placing this cache.

Found on a nice day for caching while staying just up the road for a few days.
A quiet spot, and I also found it out in open. It looks it is being removed from its hiding hole. I put it back in a much safer spot as a muggle animal may be the culprit. (under the log under some bark) TNLNSL TFTC

Ms Bushies2 spotted it straight away because it was out on the ground...then covered it properly after signing the logbook. Thanks cfn69.
No way, our third DNF today:( I guess Harvey Bay doesn't like us:) Maybe next time. Greetings from Slovenia.
Found ok after a short hunt. I didn't read previous logs about the hint, so i was scratching my head for a while. Lovely, quiet beach. Thanks cfn69
This took some waiting. 2 women with dogs (off leashes mind you!) were dragging their heels along the beach. Then they stopped and did a u-turn and went through the whole dreay process of again of shuffling along the beach. FINALLY they left - allowing me to hunt in peace. I found the cache in good condition. A nice bit of forest. There was a sizable dead sea snake on the beach today. TFTC cfn69
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.

Had to look for a short time, then seen something that just wasnt quite right.
Good hide all is well.!

Maybe 'fallen log' is better hint then 'Stump'

Our second attempt in 2 days and whilst not finding cache at given co-ords we found it lying out in the open on our way out. Replaced it where we thought was a likely hide at the co-ords S25 17.883 and E 152 54.309. TFTC
Found at 7:15, this gave us a bit of trouble as the hint through us of, but gps had it as GZ. Geowife started to think outside the square and bingo there it was.
This was our 2nd for the morning in beautiful Hervey Bay.

After returning from our 3 days Fraser Island trip, I had to grab this cache.
Even though I couldn't read the previous logs and hence had no additional help, I managed to find the cache at the most likely hiding place.

Found at 1058 with Marg. Marg had to read some previous log to get this one Came in from the beach. Cache OK and dry. TFTC.
Another easy one, our guest went home at the whale watching tours. Find three out of six today
Both GPSr's were all over the place, ignore the clue and read previous LOGS if you want to find it! Watch out lots of broken glass in the area.TFTC, SL
Made this nice cache after dinner, a nice walking from our camping place, thanks a lot!!!
Hmm - GPS put me smack on one likely spot, but not there. Checked another nearby likely spot - ah, there it is. TFTC!
Agree with youngoldfella ( see below) re the co-ords and the hide. If you want to fill the log, look in the log or you'll be stumped.
It took me a while but the cache was loceted. My pen had been lost and I was unable to sign the log but I took a photo of the cache on my mobile phone which I can supply if requested. Thanks for the cache.
Went for a walk along the beach in my waterproof jacket as it has started raining. Got to GZ and searched around for a while slowly widening the search. Found it and signed log trying not to get it wet in the rain. TFTC cfn69
Found at 1600 about 3 meters from stated co ordinates. Located at S25 17.880 E152 54.309 and it is not in a stump. This is now in a rehabilatation zone so please tread carefully. TNLNSL TFTC
Found whilst taking a siteseeing cycle around the Hervey Bay foreshore. Thanks
Good job there are lots of logs so eventualy found it good hiding spot. Bring a pencil couldn't fill in log this time. Thanks
Second try on this one and still no luck cant see a cache anywhere but a good spot to run the dog Cheers
Nice collection of tell-tale sticks stuck into crevices, by previous cachers I assume. As well as the cache, I found a small round white object which looked like a lizard egg. But something wasn't quite right, so I gave it a squeeze to see if it was actually a perfect little pebble. Nope, lizard egg - long gone rotten! Continued caching with a decorative aromatic pattern across the front of my t-shirt ... urk. TFTC cfn69.
Our second trip to this one, there were way too many muggles the first time around. Found it after a bit of a look around without attracting any attention. TN LN SL. Thanks for the cache.
A quick and easy find, made easier by the weather as there were about 3 people on the entire beach, 2 of whom were in the water.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache,
best wishes,
Wal

Found: Our gps thought the coordinates should be S25 17.880 E152 54.310. Felt a little uncomfortable being in a fenced area. Maybe the fence is a new feature. There was a dead animal by the gz with lots of flies.
5/10/09 1515 hrs - After a fantastic morning whale watching decided to have a look around Hervey Bay while searching for caches. Not far from where we were staying so started here. Was onto this one very quickly. Bought prawns and crab from nearby fish market for dinner. Yum..... TFTC
Found at 11.40am GAFF1. Thought this was going to have something to do with the Graham Green story "On the Beach" with Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner. Now we know where the fish shop is.
Thanks CFN69.
Thanks CFN69.
A different "angle" on stump than we are used to, but found it none the less. TFTC
On another visit to Hervey Bay along with Silky Seekers to whale watch amd visit a friend. Found this cache-eventually-this time. SL. Thanks cfn69
Found on a visit to the area with Ledgins to Whale Watch. Love the area. TFTC Silky seekers
Went to find this one on the fish fest day and decided against it due to the thousands of muggles about, returned the following day and found it with ease.

The signs on the fence said this area is a rehabilitation zone, so we didn't go in.
Found in the dark at 6.30pm after spending afternoon whale watching. Not a single muggle in sight !!! Clever little hiding place-soon sniffed out by Boris--Jasmine was a bit worried about putting hands into holes !!!!!
Found just before catching to ferry Fraser. Found in the second place we looked. TFTC
Found on way over to Fraser Island. Fairly open location, lots of muggles around. Nice to take a stroll along the mud flats watching the soldier crabs afterwards!
Great hiding spot, took about minutes to find.
didn't sign log as it was a spare of the moment thing and didn't have a pen.
TFTC
nice beach views.
