I cant understand how items in a pvc container with rubber seal can be wet. Perhaps people just dont take care.
The final straw....people cant even be bothered to write a log!!
That's it.....it's being archived!

Nice and easy for my first solo find. Left signature item. Items out of zip-lock a little damp.
A nice and easy find with Nearra. Some of items had been left outside the cache, but we put it back together again. TFTC.
Not a good cache to try while the University is working – no parks available. Had to park down at the bottom of the hill and walk up. The rest was easy. Circumnavigator #1 and Karloff's Pirate Days of The Colony 2009 Geocoin are not in the cache. The cache has been replaced since these trackables were placed.

Some great views from up here. The airport, the wharves and the city. I grabbed the cache. Took a bouncy ball and left a gold medal. Cache was in top condition as it should having just been maintained. TFTC.

Nice easy find today after a drop-off at the airport. Took Fishy 3 TB to move on. Thanks wingaap
Nice easy find on a very busy day. Managed to log my find from the comfort of my car. Dropped Fishy 3 TB as close to a water cache as was possible given the recent rain and the many nano caches on the coast and creeks in the area.
Did not see the Pirate TB.

This was the first cache of 14 for the day, on what turned out to be a rather sunny day out caching. this tree kind of reminded me of a bonsai with its shape. My thanks to wingaap for the cache.
Found this one on a good Geocaching Day !
12 Founds ! 6 with my GeoMitsubishiMirage and 6 with my GeoCycle !
And on a sunny day ! ... of course we're in Queensland !

A nice walk over from a nearby cache, and a bit of a view of the Gateway bridges to boot. Thanks wingaap.
Decided on the "walk up the hill" option. Parked at the "back" gate and made my way up. Any excuse for a little extra exercise and this route seemed less of a climb than the one from the "front" gate. Found the cache and tried to be discreet with it's extraction and replacement. Lots of traffic around lunch time. Great view of the "Giraffes" in the distance. TFTC
It was great to findout there's a cache at my uni Found it with no great difficulty. TFTC
A quick find - but the muggles were more of an issue. Finally got the deed done and got out of there. TFTC!
Found by Mary & David at 1015. Tremendous views as you promised. Our thanks again to Wingaap.
A relatively quick find at 12:10.
Drove up the path, and spotted the location immediately, however it wasn't until we parked (nyletaM and I),
that we were able to confirm the location. At some distance we were able to spot the cache location.

There's something to be said for a cache location that you can spot whilst driving up and finding a place to park. Alkzura and I had no problems with this one. TFTC
nice easy find for a sunday afternoon. A friendly leach was happily guarding the cache

Keeping one eye on the security guard my mate Sniffme and I found tihs one quickly and easily.
Second find of the day at 1550. Not a bad hill on the Bike - certainly got my blood pumping! The views and the cool breeze made it all worthwhile
Thanks for the cache Wingaap

Came up here on short detour from M1. When I was a kid I always wanted to know why the Seminary was considered so special. Now I see what wonderful views - and breezes - the staff and students enjoyed. You can see right out to the islands in the Bay. Lots of trees too. I found one with a cache under it. Cache needs a new writing implement if you're coming out this way.
One of the things i like about geocaching is the sneaky stelth factor. That feeling that you've got away with something. As a kid, you'd get it if you were NEARLY caught doing something that you knew you shouldn't be doing. Like the night i climbed out my bedroom window to go meet up with....Ah, but i diegress......
We arrived at an entry point to the Uni and pulled over to verify it was the right one. Security was doing the rounds and I felt like an intruder with no business being here. Was it people like us he was looking for? Were we included with the riff raff the uni needed protection from? I was remimded this was a wingaap cache, so everything should be fine. We headed up towards the impressive floodlit buildings and found a spot to ditch the car, it just happened to be near trees, in a corner of the car park. We weren't hiding it. From here on in, the search would be on foot. From our vantage point, the night time panorama was truely breathtaking and for a moment i forgot why i was here. Quickly back to the business at hand and we closed in on the prize, which, when found, was a little larger than we'd been looking for. We logged our find, mine at 2-16am, and were returning the cache to it's place when from up near the buildings came a pair of headlights probing the darkness. Security! I called a warning to the others and, feeling a little exposed, immediately turned and crouched as low as i could. For some reason my heart skipped a beat. I felt like a child again waiting to see if i was going to be caught out. It's all good i told myself. This is a wingaap cache. It's not a problem. I repeated this magical chant a number of times as the headlights drew closer. The others were also fairly exposed, with only one tree between the four of them. I put my head down as the headlights drew closer and closer. Wingaap cache, all good, wingaap cache, not a problem, and suddenly the car passed by. I looked up and could see the taillights dissappearing down the drive. Unbelieveable! He hadn't spotted us. Quickly, we checked that the cache was as we'd found it, and made our way back to the car. We drove off, laughing about our sneakiness and how we'd scored without being detected.
Thanx for the adventure supplied with this cache wingaap Keeps me looking for more
Think i'll hang on to the magical wingaap invisible cloaking chant as well. Just in case i find myself in another of your adventures.
Took magical chant (non trackable item)
Left echoing laughter (non trackable item and very hard to find)

Found @ 0215....The Big monkey found this one.
The view from here was amazing. All the lights and refinery flames and planes was pretty cool.
Trying to dodge the security guard well that was fun. Although when he eventually did drive by he didnt seem to care we were there. Didnt even brake. Took in the view for a few minutes and then headed off for a few more finds.

Being from out of town, the hardest part about this cache was finding a way to get to it. Once I discovered the main entry to the uni, it was nice and easy. Great views from here.
Grabbed the Travel Turtle GC. TFTC.
Took the find back to the car to complete the log. No one around. But ...on starting back noticed two young male muggles toiling up the hill on their bikes - they were almost at the top. And where did they stop to rest and recover? Of course ... right at the cache site. Rested themselves for a good 15 mins while I waited helplessly in the car willing them to leave. At least I wasn't busy rehiding it when they arrived. Great views.
It pays to be the last out of the car sometimes! The green frog had found a great home alongside the cache container and didn't appreciate being disturbed when LeadNinja poked around in the area. Enjoyed the breeze and views from this location. TFTC.
This has been on my list for a long, long time.
I startled a beautiful green frog who was guarding the cache, after signing the log book replaced very carefully so as not to upset frog any further!
Thanks for the cache Wingaap

Pipped at the post again by Leadninja, who jumped back when she heard croaking noises in the hide, a good laugh and a good hide. TFTC
I was unsurprised to see a Wingaap cache around here - happily my efforts at cache finding near the old ACU (Brookside) weren't repeated. TFTC.
This one had us tricked until we noticed a man walking around with a gps device! Watched him and saw him stop for a moment near a tree then get in his car and go. Gotta be it and it was. It was a WOW moment when we realised we weren't the only ones out looking today.
Grabbed quickly while waiting for a flight to arrive at the nearby airport, great views of planes coming and going TFTC
Previous loggers are right. A great spot to watch the planes come and go. I must say I was slightly confused when I saw gnarled trees in other locations but not near GZ. The tree this cache was named after has been removed. Enjoyed the location. Geocacher eyes needed to spot the GZ and all is well. TFTC. SL. Took nothing, left happy face key ring and 2 animals.
Found about 3:15pm with Aussie Liahona. Enjoyed watching some planes take off and land while waiting for muggles to drive by or leave. Pencil lead is broken and loose. Not easy to write with. Take your own pen to sign log. TFTC. SL
Great view over the area here. Getting late on Sunday afternoon, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Took Dick Turpin TB
Great views from here. Had to wait for the dog walking muggle to move on before we retrieved the cache.
RIP Gnarled Tree. This cache may have lost its namesake, but it still provides great views out toward the airport. TNLN. Cheers from Adelaide .
saw it 30m away, quick walk to it and out again

#52 - found @1130. Easy find. Not so easy, the hundreds of ants that guard the cache
Ok though,not nasty bitty ants..

Bit of muggle activity as uni students came and went, but took no notice of me.

I fear that what we assume was the gnarled tree is now just a little heap of rotten wood.

Quick find on our run through the area as we headed North for the day. THe gnarled tree is very cool. The cache was guarded by several hundred ants but is otherwise all good.

We parked in the carpark and after waiting for some muggles to leave, we wandered off in search for the cache. The gnarled tree was quickly located and the cache soon after. Checked out the views and enjoyed the cool breeze as we signed the log.
