I think it's missing, looked all over the Armco but no find, might want to check on this one
We ventured out into the rain, rather than lounge around in the caravan watching DVD's.
Enjoyed the great tour as we made our way to GZ, but we were unable to locate the cache.
A DNF for us. Thanks for the hunt, anyway, Team Yota.

Up from Geelong staying with family caching the area.
We have been to Maitland many times but never quite saw it this way.
Thanks for the tour Team Yota.

Toured around Maitland as the sun was setting and by the time we got to gz the moon was up
Nice spot
Nice spot
9177 + 1025 = 10202. Found during a visit to the Maitland region for a long weekend with ACBC66 and AwesomeL.
Drove up from Canberra and headed into town to get some groceries. We had presolved this one and so took the detour home to see if we could find it. Nice and quiet at GZ so we made a quick find. Really enjoyed the puzzle.
Thanks Team Yota ! Favourite Point !

TFTC!!! Lived the spot. We had been here before by accident on one of our many drives. Thank you =)
Nice find while in maitland today . Great location for GZ, I like Caches that require a bit of exploring .TFTC
After a few days of non caching I got the ole Geo itch again. Early morning start threw the trusty Mountain Bike in the back of the Geo truck and headed North. With a aim to complete the Toolbox Series and others of opportunity further North. Second day of the adventure, Great multi around maitland. Great cache, TFTC
Nice one Team Yota!
It was an eye opening tour and finding the hide was rewarding.

A nice easy find after an interesting drive round town. Thanks for helping me get to know the area. TFTC
Was able to solved most of the puzzle without any external help. Ive spent a bit of time in Maitland over the years. Is amazing what you absorb over time. The puzzle was easy to solved and whilst in town today for a meeting I ducked around to GZ. Lovely little back road. Quick find.
Great cache! You like making us go around high street a lot. It was nice though. Was rather windy. We took a few detours trying to get the GPS to work. But great cache!
Chuk found it while ChukyMum was wandering through the weeds, Chuk was letting ChukyMum try to find it though. Chuk then had to reveal it.

Knew most of the answers since I grew up in Maitland. Made the find in the dark.
Thanks to growing up in maitland with a bit of local knowledge I didn't know what drive to too many locations to get the final location
Great cache but
Great cache but
I drive this road a few times a day as a shortcut. Such a lovely area. Good hide. TFTC
This was one of 4 puzzles we picked up on a micro holiday in Maitland. We pulled up at GZ just as a farmer appeared. We acknowledged each other and he was strangely disinterested in our next actions. We enjoyed seeing the many historical features and the caches. TftC
Enjoyed solving this one, albeit remotely. Ground Zero is a very peaceful location. Thanks. The fifth and final find on a birthday run.
Found easily , when you know where.
I knew all the answers without even visiting the listings.
That's what you get for being a Maitland Girl and knowing where/what everything is.
Once Co Odds where changed and followed it was an easy find.

After going for a drive to only find out we were a week early, I remembered solving this one over a year ago online and decided to finish it off with the actual find.
Reperio at 1730.
After stopping by to grab a couple of other caches nearby, I headed out to GZ to make the find on this one after having solved it with a little bit of research many moons ago. Arrived just on dark, but the coords pointed to the exact spot, so finding the container was made easy. As others have mentioned, the container didn't quite match the description...but it was still nice to find.
Gratias Team Yota.

1058. Found it with Relish64. Saved this one for our departure from Maitland (back to Canberra) after visiting for a wedding. Google was our friend and a quick find was made at GZ.
Thanks Team Yota for the cache.

Did this cache in a bit of free time today had a good trip around town then headed out to the final location only to find a car parked there. Waited for a bit then noticed a farmer tending to his cows so ducked in and grabbed cache quickly. Thanks for a great trip today.
This is our first visit to Maitland so it was good to have a bit of a drive around first, looking for waypoints. Loved the area around GZ, felt we were right in the country. Thanks for the search and hide.
Mrs Shifter was in Maitland for work so a few caches were in order before heading home.
This one is a bit of a nemesis cache for us. Mrs Shifter solved the puzzle about four years ago, we looked for it however there was an error in the transcribing of the location so we were looking in the wrong area. The puzzle was revisited a while back and the error was discovered, so it was a 'had to be done' while in the area today.
The cache was located very quickly when the correct coordinates are used. We are glad to have this one off our to do list now.
Thanks Team Yota.

After working out the co-ord went for a drive to GZ, again was lucky to get to this one because of the flooded roads, but came up with the goods. TFTC

[B)] Well smack me silly i had forgot about this one until it poped up on the garmin a50 as we were on our way home from little digger and country road. Had worked this one out way back in november last year on dogwatch with morky70 and entered the coordinates into the a50 and well need say no more i did do this on dowatch. coordinates spot on cache in good shape. lucky the asus dont suffer from night shift amnesia. Thanks Team yota Cheers blue_trax.
What a great little puzzle around Maitland. We started this one ages ago and thought it was time to finish the job today. Mini Burners made the find, after being pointed in the right direction. He was pretty happy with himself. Thanks for your efforts with this one, We do appreciate the challenges of a puzzle.
We had a nice little drive around Maitland for this one learning new things about our new neighbourhood. We were a little worried about the final location as it seamed it was a little far away but we soldiered on and soon found a typical Madstar's cache! TFTC
Did this ones leg work on Google drove past today to grab the cache thanks Team Yota
Found it after abit of running around Maitland. What an adventure. Decided to do it on foot. It was quite a walk. We worked out the code on the way to the hospital in the back of an ambulance...we drank too much grappa New Years eve and needed blood tranfusions. Anyway, all is good now. Arrived at GZ only to find a lollie container. TFTC SL
Our 4661st overall find.
In hindsight I could have probably pre done a few of these points but we just wandered around today checking them off and then to the car for a simple find. You can see that a few people have been at the GZ of late.

[|)] well this cache started at 2am on dogwatch at work when blue_trax and me were deciding if we could solve this one without touring the town. We both have good knowledge of maitland so this should be a sinch. WARNING 2am and trying to solve codes does not mix well.
anyhow we filled in the first couple of answers and the rest (Dont mention rest at 2am) fell into place. Got a set of coordinates that was on a road so I decided to check it out on the way home from work. Bugger me we are good no wonder they let us drive multi million dollar machinery at work when we are sleepy. Cache found the size doesnt match the description but thats ok found anyway. TFTC Team Yoda for taking our mind off being sleepy and keep up the good work.

Found at 6.30pm GAFF1. What a great way of learning and experiencing the town. The second last cache of a very eventful day. Love how there is such a short distance from full suburbia to rural scenes. A lovely town that we will be back again to finish the rest of the caches.
Pity that a micro/small was chosen to finish - actually the cache page says it is a Regular, so I went where I thought a regular would be hidden only to be confronted with slimy stuff, cobwebs and farmers friends - geeze it nearly spoiled the experience - but not quite!
Thanks Team Yota for highlighting the town - but the cache size should be changed.

I had solved this one last year but hadn't got around to visiting the hide, today was the day. The search took a lot longer than it should of as when we parked we joked where the hide would be but didn't check it. After 10 minutes we decided to check just in case and the goods were there. I should know by now to always listen to instinct. TFTC Team Yota. [646]
This one streched out a while. I got all the clues in a day, but couldn't get there. It was 5 weeks maybe more before I got the cache. I didn't really need to go to every location, but still fun. Took fake pebble, left token. TFTC

Thankyou for the tour around Maitland. Have been grabbing these clues only by one slowly and finally got to piece it all together today after finding a few local caches.

I was enjoying a bit of a bachelor weekend, so had this local mystery one to tick off.
After living in the area for a while I thought that I would have known all the answers off the top of my head.
But I still had to visit some waypoints.
I really enjoyed the puzzle on this one and do wish the final cache was a bit more of a prize for the hard work. but a good time was had all the same.
thankyou for your tour of maitland.

Had also done most of the work on this cache before leaving home, so had it pretty much worked out. Got to the area of GZ easily enough, but my co-ordinates must have been a bit out. I searched one end of the structure to the other end, and then had to use the clue, and so searched all through that stucture near the previous structure. No luck. Widened my search along the second structure, (wrong side , of course), and the along the other side (correct side). Finally!!!!!
But I did meet a very friendly dog of one of the local farmers. Kept me company in my searching.

I did this cache again to get one of mine published. I did the puzzle and took the tour. I already knew where the cache was but it was a fun tour. Thanks
Followed the clues - had a great time.. The kids got all excited, then couldn't find the cache. Someone has recently poisoned the grass all around the GZ. Think they might have taken the cache with them....
This was our 3rd cache for the day. I didnt use the coords or even figer out the puzzle thanks to the pictures. I knew where it was straight away using local knowledge. TFTC

TFTC, out with Cachefinders2 for a days caching, after an initial mistake, this was easy and fun. the initial mistake ended up helping us as it gave us the answer to the last one without having to go back out there.
Managed to guess the answer to the final after the 2nd clue.
It was good fun and enjoyed it.

We enjoyed this trip around Maitland finding the clues. Very kind of Madstars to have placed a cache at the final co-ordinates as it would have been disappointing not to have an end to the journey. Full marks to whoever left the little rubber snake rolled up in the log with its head just poking out - it gave me one heck of a fright! TNLNSL TFTC
I am afraid I did this one from the lounge chair until heading to the actual location. Thanks all the same.
we did this one without a gps which added to the difficulty of the hunt, however we did find it! signed it, TNLN, TFTC.

JAB's had this one figured out before we left home. Another find for the Tablelands Cachers (TC's) on their Hunter to the coast spree.
Thanks to famous Cacher we are all able to enjoy finishing this one. Was able to do all the working out before leaving home by using Google Maps and Street view.

Thank to MADSTARS there was something to find at GZ.
Filled out log. Left a rubber snake.

FOUND IT......
And I hear you all say HOW!!!
Well I replaced the cache with one of my famous M&M containers until someone wants to upgrade it with a larger one.
It took me a long time to work this one out and I have been sitting on my hands waiting for it to come back on-line. So I thought I would be a good geocacher and help out the owner and fellow geo's and replace it.
Let us all rejoice and log the find as quick as possible...

Going by the last 3 logs this one must be missing. We also found lots of rubbish.
Couldn't find the cache at the final co-ords but thanks anyway for the quick tour of Maitland.
Found this one, quite random the order we did it in. The local farmer came down and moved his cattle as we retrieved the cache - much to the delight of our geo-pups.
Fun trek and rather easy if you know Maitland.

A bit of help from google earth and some topos got us through this one without visiting the waypoints. Found before breakfast on a brisk Maitland morning - said hi to the local bovines. Left ferrari toy.
With a little local knowledge and some help from Google Earth I was able to find the end cache without having to go walking/driving all over town. Nice size container at the end for all those wishing to do swaps. TFTH Team Yota.
Found at 2020. Had to do this one at night as it poured rain not long after we arrived in Maitland. The rain eventually eased after dark but has started again now. Still enjoyed the tour even at night. Took Gypsy Geocoin left Bart Simpson skateboard. Thanks for the tour.

Quick trip to Maitland after some business in Hexham. Found at 1230 after collecting the required info. Enjoyed the tour and the tranquil setting of GZ.
Fun tour. Second clue isn't as obvious as it used to be though as locals my wife had already worked it out. Took the gnome to see a new location.
Until I can check/modify clue 2, if any one from out of town is planing this cache, PM me & ill give you the clue.
Found after a nice tour around town. The area at GZ is a little overgrown now though!!
