Finalf29 was war-gaming down at UOW, so I thought I could do a bit of geocaching in the area. Ended up getting fourteen from nineteen. Had a great day but did miss my geocaching buddy...I had to deal with all the spider webs myself!
This was my second for the day. I was looking for this one with the sounds of beautiful music wafting around me. Was a bit worried about the placement of this cache...everything is about to collapse and a large area is taped off...may need to move it sooner then later. Thanks

This one was in a very cool spot. However there was 'red tape' and the spot is falling apart so possibly it will be discovered on repair or be completely removed. Found with @catralph.
Really enjoyed this one - clever hiding spot, but somewhat right under your nose...
What a view but you must have a look there... buidings a new Wall! Greetings from Austria
We were here ealier in the year and there was a cache in the gardens I couldn't find at the time so I was keen to have another go. Wasn't this cache however but we did find this one no problems. It seems the other one is no more. Was in one of the gazebo's and a clever hide from all reports. Anyway this one was more than a consolation prize since it showed us more of the gardens and a beautiful old building as well, so thanks indeed for this cache.
Some brick work suffering the effects of tree roots, some as good as the day it was laid, incredibly ornate, check out the work in the chimneys, they don't build like that any more. Would make a good excursion for apprentice Brickies. Also for the Sheeties check out the Rainheads.
Thanks to geo daughter for spotting this one. Hunted off by the ground staff !!
Felt like sneaky Roberts getting this one inside the orange barrier. I hope we don't get in trouble!
There is an orange plastic mesh barrier fencing off the area around GZ . As there was no one around I decided to risk the wrath of the authorities and flagrantly breach the barrier. Nothing terrible happened to me and I eventually had CIH. Visited TB. As previous logs have noted the log is in a bit of a mess I signed the back of what appeared to be the most recent sheet. TFTC!
Found with Melly while visiting the gardens today. Thanks for the hide Daaave
Wombat the Anthus Laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runciple's Grasshopper and his little brother, a tassie trekkers pathtag, a sweet & sour pathtag, a grannysmith pathtag, a geo achievement 500 cahes award, an F14 Tomcat, a sctoch and sode, a monkey a BIG O, a christmas tree, a vespa and a boomerang, oh, and a bundle of keyrings that I have collected since caching in WA in August 2013 (current count is 25)

Found this one while out caching with Luck6 and Geojentrio - such a pretty spot - TFTC
Had been here once before, so as I approached GZ and had the GPSr shutting down on low battery, it wasn't going to be much of a drama being near GZ. This time I spotted the cache likely hiding place (as it was) almost immediately. Why didn't I recognize it before?? Logs are a bit of a dog's breakfast. The cache does need some tlc. Log only, Thank you.

Finally found it but didn't have a pen! I don't suppose the next guy could write my name for me?
Beautiful spot and a great hide. Had to outwait some tourist muggles then made the grab. TFTC!
Almost gave up, but we found a suspicious looking area and happily found it. Signed log.
Second find of the day with our new son Bronson. Really enjoyed our day in the gardens. Took a while to find this one. Say a stray pen laying near by and started to search there thinking it had been left behind by a fellow cacher. Walked away and followed the GPS to ground zero and we were able to quickly spot it after that. TFTH
yay.
did this on dusk. cars pulling into parking for the night, and people in rooms made this a super sneaky cache

Woohoo! Found it. Was a very fun geo cache! Easy spot and the view in incredible.
It’s a nice place. The wind picked up and had to get geo-baby back inside so we couldn't stay long.

[green]After spending a lovely morning at the beach we headed in to the Botanic gardens to have a look around and to find some caches and waymarks. We stopped first at Glenifer Brea at the top of the hill to look around this wonderful old building, we sat on the bench under the tree and enjoyed the beautiful views down the grassy hill and over the gardens with the ocean on the horizon. While we were sitting here we decided to check for any nearby caches and found that there was one just a few meters away.
This was a nice easy find and sign.(The way we like them, LOL!) The log book is full but someone has put in a page from a flip diary in there but it will need a new log book soon.

Such a beautiful view and relaxing scenery!

Nice location for a cache completed this one while wondering around the gardens trying not to be spotted by muggles with bee1490
I've never been up here before but my eldest has with music. In any case, not ashamed to say that I looked up Hadrian to confirm we were looking in the right spot. Cool hide. Cool old building, I love old brick buildings. I also have a place to visit on my bucket list thanks to aforementioned research. Thanks!
Found with Chiller250, Liam264 and Suburugirl57.
Oh, we marked an X in lipstick. No pen.

Saw this one of 3 in the gardens so decided to check it our before the onslaught on Ousley. One of the best Botanical Gardens I have seen and wasn't even aware it existed. The log is pretty full and getting very "tatty". TN Left a small peg. SL. TFTC Daaave.
There's a cache on the hill, the perfect excuse to have a closer look at that lovely building!

Hmmm looking at the phone, 90cm away from GZ, looking, looking, up and down, but no luck. Decided to look from a different angle. Hmmm that's odd. Found it! I could have sat up there all day, the only problem was the music that was being splendidly played wasn't loud enough. TFTC!
Even the wind couldn't spoil this spot. Great views, great music (not quite loud enough). Spent some time looking where I thought it probably was and no I didn't hear the clue being read out so Act Geojinx beat me to it. Thanks for brining us here Daaave. TFTC
Log book is full so we put a small piece of paper in as a temporary one.
