Thanks for the lovely view. This was my second multi today and I am quite new at changing coordinates so I'm very pleased that it worked. TFTC
Made the same mistake that hunterxhunters made, not noticing the -1. Once that was sorted out soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

The day began rainy and cloudy but nevertheless I started a tour for geocaching this morning. From Nelson to the French Pass and up to Haveloc the way led me. Along there were a lot of great caches showing nice places and making this day a lot of fun with wet feet. Thanks to all owners for making this experience possible!

Nice n easy except failed to see there was a -1 on A and headed 200m up the road..woops! Once we sorted the co-ords out it was a nice easy find although we had to move a rock?? Thanks!
Easy find on a nice lunch time wander after a bitterly cold morning in Nelson. TFTC
#1692 (10/20 on day 4 in Nelson). Getting on to lunch and creative juices getting low, so it didn't take to long before we resorted to the hint. TFTC.
Had a window of opportunity between work and dinner out to go for a walk and find a cache so that's just what we did. Good one. Thanks for bringing us here.
Decided to look for this cache when on a walk. Nice views, steep walk, but worth it. TFTC
An error in the calc's had us walking more than we need to but it was a great walk. Quick find after amending - palced TC
A quick find and a clever hide. Wonderful views, and we needed the seat as we had started the track from the Botanics, retrieving caches along the way! TFTC
Nice quick multi, took a while to find cache as it was not where it should have been - I found it on the ground well away from obvious location. SL -GC TFTC
Yeah ..... The Beanso clan has finally "got round to" this one ... and oh what a difference it makes when you have the correct coords !!!! Hmmm someone didn't read the question correctly on the first visit in the winter and had us miles further up the hill wandering round until we ran out of daylight !!!
Dropped in hundred finds geocoin.
TFTC Finally !!

Decided to walk from the bottom of the hill as I needed the exersize. Gratefull of the seat at the top though. Found cache under a smile. Thanks.
A quick find once the men from the council left. They looked very official with their clipboards.
Arrived at GZ to find council workers on site but they quickly moved off and we got down to business. Coords solved it was then a quick find. Thanks for bringing us here. Sorry no time to visit centre of NZ from here.

We cracked a big grin when we faced it… nice location with great views.

A nice little detour from my normal dog-walking route. My non-geocache friend spotted it for me. She said "That rock doesn't look quite right"!
Pretty sure I found this one with my Mum last Sept, will go back today and check it is the one I think!
Am finding a few today that are nearby and used this one as a reference and was surprised I don't have a found tick for it!
EDIT: This is the one I foudn last year... although with the change of log book, I couldn't find the date that was! Perhaps kiwi-nomad still has the old log book and can look for me and let me know?

Nice one as always. Good views and interesting site. Had a chuckle with the cache's guardian. Took TB P for Parrot. TFTC, Biggles.
Thanks for that, a nice climb and great view. Left travel bug "P for Parrot".
More great views! Log book is full, but I didn't have one small enough to fit in the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC.
I've found your cache!
Recently I had a bit of spare time in the upper end of the South Island and I managed to find a large number of geocaches. Unfortunatly due to an unexpected trip to Australia for family reasons I was called away from my Nelson adventures.... Now three weeks on I'm having to sit back and log the piles of caches that I did manage to find while I was down there. As there were a large number of caches, I've decided to throw in a generic log for all but a few of them.
Being a North Islander I was surprised at the sheer number of (glow in the dark) polar bears living in the upper South Island - I really didn't think it was that cold down there. And if I had of cottoned on eariler I could have traded for pretty much an entire chess set, one peice at a time. As it was I tended not to trade geo-junk but I did move a small number of geocoins around.
Of the caches I found I could not possibly choose a favorite but there are certainly both some challenging and very rewarding caches in the area. The best caches tend to be the ones where the owner has put in a bit of extra effort or extra thought into the challlenge and design of the cache, thanks to all those who did. I was also very surprised to see that there are a large number of caches placed in and around graveyards - I've never visiited so many in shuch a short space of time. I was pleased to see some new ideas around as well.
Warmest Regards,
Bobo.

Nice one! Log Book full, Tokie left pink earing... Clue A w/o-1 goes to track by 8 posts, trees, tall hills, bad signal. ta, Toke
A fun visit to Nelson for a few sunny days with some very enjoyable caches both in location and hiding style. I don't think a compass would work in Nelson given all the magnets located about the place. Any way thanks to all the local cachers for all the local caches, please excuse the template log.
Lucky there where no muggers.

Sat nearby to enjoy my lunch today - picked up geo coin to take to an Auckland event next weekend.
Marvellous view. Easy find. Left behind geocoin Watch-Out. Many thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1308)
This cache is in a great hidey hole. Just a few showers about this afternoon.
Cheers for the cache.

A tough cache for us today. Easy solving the final but a muggle arrived at GZ and settled in - staying a good 20 minutes! Had to leave & return to watch him take 10 minutes to leave!
Eventually got it!

[I admit to using the hints for this since my gps isn't capable to inputting co-ord's without a computer (it's a fitness gps, not a normal one *grr*) so didn't want to drive those 6km home.] I replaced it to where it should have been according to the clues
A nice find with a first time cacher friend (ARmaggot). We had a go and quickly realised we'd got the co-ords entered in wrong! Knew I should have taken a pen! It was a nice night for a walk anyway.. A quick re-visit and bingo!
Took the Geocoin.

You must have been busy when setting this up - I think this is the first KN cache we have done that is "traditional". Nice spot, thanks. -GC +GC
Sri, Ms M removed smilie face, thinking this was another very tricky Kiwi-Nomad cache. Now residing inside cache.
Picked up GC - still warm from Kiwi-Explorer dropping it off

Ah well, have to wait for next visit from Oz to attempt this one again! Maybe daylight savings threw me out ...
And waiting to be found it was. No problems with this one thanks. The harbour view is much better when the tide is in Dropped in Geofriendly world coin from Geocoinfest.
Checked out Cache after report of land slide ?? Not sure whats going on but all well cache and hiding place all the same as it was before, just waiting to be found
Didn't manage to find this one. Suspect cache may be lost. Nearby landslip coned off for safety - 6 posts with railing then any more posts have vanished into the abyss!
After walking to the top of Centre of NZ, and then doing "Just Bluffing" we LOVED this cache - no hill climb, no big walk! Just clever kiwi-nomad ingenuity! Easy find. #150 for beltfamily!! TNLNSL
very nice very windy some muggles around but only walking past on the road lol tnln thanx:)
A nice cache to entertain the kids during the school hols.

Easy find on a nice day.Wanted to do a few other caches but there were muggles everywhere today
Brother wanted to try out his 1994 Garmin GPS. Got up the hill safely, but then it refused to be of any further assistance. Complained of either too many trees, tto dark, road not straight, faulty coordinates.......etc. Good I had my trusty GPS, otherwise we would still be walking somewhere near Pelorus Sound I would think.
Fun cache; were greeted by happy face. Thanks.

When I faced it my face dropped – for all of 30 seconds - then I smiled and signed the log. T4TC. Cheers.
1370. It would have been easy if we'd put the correct coordinates in the first time! As it was we got slightly distracted before stopping and checking! After that it was fine.
We saw the cachers that we had been following for the last hour dash off up the hill so we left what we were doing and followed them. It was only later that we discovered that they were looking for D-end which we searched for as well for over 45 minutes before giving up and going back to find Face-It.
It was only later in the evening when we went to visit the So-Bad team that we all discovered that the D-end cache was indeed archived and so we had all been looking for something that wasn't there! Oh well, that's what happens sometimes!!
Thanks
Iris & Rodney
