There is some locals here who may be able to adopt this if I can't arrange for a replacement.
Hopefully will be all resolved soon.

Yes, my local contacts tell me that it does appear to have gone. We will try to do something about it soon.

I really think this one's "Gone With The Wind" Big Grin
All I found was a small slither of one of those blue plastic clips that hold the lids on 'Sistema' cliplok containers [:o]

Speaking of wind, there wasn't any this hot afternoon and the windmills were hardly turning Smile
The grass is very dry and yellow brown in colour.
A contrast to my last visit when it looked like a scene from the 'teletubbies' from this very spot Big Grin

We had a pretty good search, with the same result as the previous 2 searchers. Sad ... seems that this one may be gone.
There was plenty of wind however! It is an interesting place though. It would have been interesting to have a wind speed gauge here.

01-Sep-08
Yes it was windy, and cold. No matter how many times we searched we still didn't find it. I couldn't see that there were that many places that a cache of this size could be hidden, especially considering the clue. Maybe we missed it, maybe it is gone.

24-Aug-08
forgot to log this one. Could not find it after several tries.

08-Jun-08
I knew there were windmills out there somewhere, but I couldn't see them through the fog. TFTC.

18-May-08
Cold and windy, but still a simple find.

Cheers.

I am a fan of wind farms. They seem to have got this one in a very windy spot. It even started hailing as I filled in the log, snug in the car. Thanks.

Found this without any troubles on the way to Goulburn. The locking parts of the cache container are looking a bit sad and might need a new container.

Caching in the last twelve months has taken me to wind farms at Hampton in the Blue Mountains, Blayney in the Central West, Albany in Western Australia and now this one. Thanks.

Left a couple of TBs as well.

Wow, this is amazing! Looks so cool (and felt really cool, well freezing if the truth be told) too! Left GeoHound Cougar in truck whilst GeoTeen did the dash and grab. T: army man, L: one of our pathtags. I really like these turbines and would love to have a couple at our farm in Braidwood but I don't think local council would agree to it somehow. Took a cool picture of Cougar doing his best Yoda impression as the wind lifted his ears up! Will upload later. TFTC Smile

After finding another nearby cache up near the tip it was a nice surprise to find a well hidden, well stocked cache showing me one of the local landmarks.
Very impressive, we really enjoyed the stop and the cache.

Rocked up, two families larking around there, so out I got, took a few photos, read the plaques, did it all again, looked again, SIGH - they were not going anywhere, and they were just chatting about NOTHING!!!!!!

SIGH

Back into the car I went, and listened to the cricket, the news, the PM, ....... EVENTUALLY, they left, and I had the cache in no time - Thanks Roosta.

All 8 wind generators were going at quite a clip, thats a LOT of power.

I missed seeing twi of the wind generators start uo by looking for the cache

Found with Eynowd on our way towards Canberra.

Educational stop, I sometimes wonder why there aren't more wind farms, some areas would be perfect for them.

Wow, my second windfarm cache in three days (after doing one up near Katoomba a couple of days earlier).

I'd heard these things were out here somewhere, but I'd never seen them before today. Very impressive.

Your not kidding, I think today would have to be close to the 79km/h upper limit. We had to wait for a few tourists to move on but found relativly easy then.

Thanks Roostaman for the cache.

A bit of wind today - 4 of the big buggers were moving. Cache was an easy find but a more difficult extraction. Left TP we'd picked up in Cootamundra the previous night. Counted this as #33 in 24 hrs. Two more to go. Left TB Tad Pole to journey onwards.

Have stopped here before but there was no cache here on my last visit. No wind today. Signed the log and completed swaps in between muggles. TFTC.

Yep - it sure is! Love the location. Before yesterday, I had never been to one of these farms before, and now I have visited two! Excellent hide. Found easily. TNLN, thanks Roostaman!

Great day for a family drive. Drove up from Canberra to Crookwell via Gunning. Stopped in at Crookwell for a stretch of the legs before heading down to the farm. I've stopped here before but I wasn't into caching then, then back to Goulburn for lunch and home. Elevation was a surprise 970m, the wind was a shocker for us, but not the white things. TFTC TNLN.

10-Jan-07
An easy find in under one minute however the extraction proved otherwise. No wind today - only one turbine spinning, the rest were having a break for the holidays.

10-Jan-07
Found this during a caching hunting expedition with Cambooya. The last of 6 found over a round trip of 410 Ks. Thankfully we own diesel's. A quick find but a major exercise to retrieve. Not to sure how it was put in that location but pretty sure not the way we eventually got it out! Replaced as best we could & ensured could not be seen. A hot day with no wind, johnny was right.

01-Jan-07
Fantastic place to hide the cache, well done. As we drove past the day before we predicted there may be a cache here, but didn't have the details. Looked them up at Macca's over dinner and found it on our way back. Certainly a very windy spot, blowing a gale while we cached. TFTC. TNLN. SL.

First cache ever for us this one....fantastic find, have stopped here on the way home before, but never knew there was this type of attraction around!
Great hide, nearly gave up at one point, but persistence paid off.
Will have to come prepared with swaps from now on!

19-Nov-06
Well it's been found by a newbie, probably locals.
Just waiting now for their log.
