No cache for me today. Despite the forecast, it was fair weather sailing. Had a look around at the obvious high points near GZ. The nearby fisherman were enjoying their day. Thanks for bringing me down here.
No luck finding this one. I had a lovely 15 minute look before muggles smelling of fish and all things fishy turned up. They set up camp nearby and I had to leave.
Have had a bad run of DNFs lately - I'm starting feel paranoid. Hit this one right in the middle of the storm this afternoon, but no luck. Thanks Pirate for the opportunity - I couldn't see a plank to walk, or any of the scurvy ridden crew hiding behind a bush laughing - must have caught them on a bad day!
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 1:20pm. Quite an easy find along a great river. TNLNSL TFTC
Another big day on the dark side, TNLN. Cache was fully exposed hopefully it will stay covered.
Nice little spot. Cache needs a new plastic bag as the old one has perished and the cache is somewhat exposed. I tried to cover it up with foilage, but the wind was up today and I'm not sure how long it will last. TNLNSL TFTC
Not a muggle in sight today. Nice little spot here. The cache was a quick and easy find today - a bit too easy, as the cache was completely exposed.
No swaps today. Made sure we covered it up before we left and moved on.

Well this was an adventure. We grabbed this very quickly after a couple of muggles were diverted with their fishing near the river. While we were filing the log in the car, half of Brisbane(exaggeration)showed up with one parking directly beside GZ. We waited for them to collect their fishing gear and walk down to the river before returning the cache to its home, then noticed their car was still running. It happens that one of their party decided not to fish and stay in the airconditioning reading a book. So, after advising Pirate (in fear of having to walk the plank) '3 fathoms deep' went on a journey with the Nosugrefs to other caches for about 2 hours. 3 fathoms deep was returned home at about 2.00pm. Took and left nothing, and thanks for showing us this great little place Pirate.
zactyl found this one before Sam and I had even left the car. Nice easy find

Easily spotted at 11:35pm as I approached the hiding place. Third cache of the night in company of Cannibal Smurf and Sam. Cache is in good condition but the bag it is wrapped in is not, the thing about those degradable bags is that when they're left exposed to sun and rain they degrade! Gave it a covering of leaves and it looked great as we walked away, hopefully they won't blow off. Thanks!
Rated: for Overall Experience
The fisherfolk were there but didnt take any notice of us. Quickly found the cache and were on our way again. Thanks pirate63

Thirty-third of seventy-nine finds on the Big Brisbane Assault with HawMorFords doing the driving and navigating. Found at 1630. Aaaargh! There is a cache in Melbourne called "Watery Transit" that is one fathom under water, so I was wondering whether I'd have to break out the SCUBA gear for this one. We didn't even get our feet wet. There were a couple of fishermen nearby, who were completely uninterested in us. As far as I am aware, they didn't even look around when we arrived. How can people be so incurious? Anyhow, this made our job easier; we were able to grab, log, and replace the cache and get out of there in less than five minutes. [^] I made no exchange. Thanks to pirate63 for the cache.
Found this one quickly and easily at 1115.
Took: Ring
Left: Frog
Left to do another pirate cache expecting it to be better than previous experiences since this one was so easy...

aaargh... Where are all the muggles today. Full tide but no fishermen. Had the place to ourselves. 2nd find of 19 for the day. Wish I could have walked across to the other bank there were no muggles there either. Not like my last attempt there.
Angel Dust found this one soon enough after trying three other likely spots. TFTC
Aaaargh! There be muggles! There be the cache!
Just lean the bike up against the hiding spot and wait for a distraction so I can grab the cache. I could have been waiting all day for a fish to distract them, but a tinnie cruised by at the right time
The cache remains high and dry.

Twill not be safe if global warming is sped up.
Forgot this was a micro , so had to borrow a pen from local fisher person who obliged by going to his car to get me a pen whilst I held his fishing rod for him-damn -I nearly got one as well, just a few more minutes and I would of had one.

Found 3.45pm. 1 of 15 in today's raid. Had to talk to the fishermen while dad got the cache.
# 17 for the night. A nice quick and easy grab for TGF & I after which we decided to head for home.
Thanks to the Pirate for the cache.

Well it's 11:12pm, Mr Hawmorford and I had walked about 6km tonight and this was my 18th of 18 finds for the night. We figured it was about time for an easy one & this one certainly was that.
After quickly signing the log we headed for home. TFTC & the nice location.

Found without the extra work of an earlier cache today I wonder what they are planning to do in that field? TFTC!
First to Find for THENANKS!!!!!!
Both "Freaky Geeky" and Mumma NANKS were in the study when this one came up today. We wasted no time in getting into the car and heading off!.........to the wrong cache! We ended up at "Smuggler's Cove" after a GPS problem (well, yes, maybe an operator problem )
So after signing the log at that one, off we went again.[:(!] And what do you know? Fehrgo must have been otherwise engaged and we still got to "three fathoms deep" first!
We didn't have time to grab trades before we left home so no swaps today. Oh, and we chose to log in the FRONT of the log book!
Thanks to Pirate63 for another spot we hadn't seen before BUT boy those mozzies are hungry! Landlubber blood must be pretty sweet after fish breathed, barnacle backed, rum swilling, cutlass toting, budgie smuggling pirate blood!

There was a very large large Green tree frog, about the size of a tennis ball, guarding the cache as well.
Took Ball
Left a ring
