Parked at the start of the track and walked from there to GZ. Using the coords in the previous finders log the cache was soon spotted. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks efn69 for the cache. It is always good to find an oldie.
Today started as a sunny winters day and eventually ended up with a few light showers later on which made the day all that must better. A great day for going on an adventure finding geocaches. I parked the car as close as I could and then headed off into the woods, only 60m. I made a quick find once I used the coords from another log, 29.696' E 152 39.136', added my name to the log sheet, returned the cache to where I found it and safely returned to the car. It seems a little bit continental drift has happened since this cache was placed. Thanks for placing and maintaining this geocache.
It was quite the trek out to grab this geocache, and surprisingly, I didn't realise that this was a Q500 oldie until we were walking out to this geocache. We took the 4WD track and then we struggled to make a U-turn in the Prado, so a 11-point turn later, we parked our car and walked to GZ. After a short search, we found the cache about 15 m away at S 25 29.696' E 152 39.136', and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TheTassieDevil for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 09/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, the day commenced with Maryborough 5 km parkrun in hot and humid conditions. Subsequently, I caught up with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) in inner Maryborough for light sightseeing and a coffee, before then completing the *Jolly Brolly* series. It was then time for a few geocaches in western Maryborough, and then we circled from the north / via the airport to subsequently attend the [A Meet and Greet for the Southerners](https://coord.info/GCAF1AZ) event.
After an interesting drive we had an interesting walk. Cache is not quite at ground zero.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. So happy to finally have a smiley here! On the way home from Bundy we made a short detour. I made the trek in to the find this beauty and added my name to the log. Glad to have found another oldie. Tftc!
Didn't fancy taking my vehicle up the track to this one, so went in on foot. Took a bit of finding and the coords that worked for me today are S25 29.696 E152 39.130 TFTC TheTassieDevil
The boys were collecting a few older caches today so we took the fourby up the track and soon had our names in the log. The coords were 17m out for us today. Thank you for the fun
I was up in Maryborough and surround caching grabbing a few I need. This was one on my list. It was a long day today.
I had lots of fun today. Couple of the caches we Paf information.
The funny part I left few good D/T caches behind for next month or the next one after that.
cfn69 thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment.

Undertaking a whirlwind visit to Maryborough. While here I was able to pick up a couple of caches I need for this month. We hit the off road component to arrive at GZ but my poor Subaru wasn’t going all the way, so a wee walk was called for & after searching a little further out from GZ the container was found.
Out caching with CaptainVimes. We followed some possible vehicle tracks through the long grass until about 30m out and made a quick find. Thanks for the fun TheTassieDevil

Up to Maryborough on our way to a week holiday in Yeppoon, but an overnight stay here on our way. Along with T4mmmy, Just-a-Trifle, Fangsoki, Crew 153 and 1MinnieMoo. This oldie cache was a must-grab for us and so we headed out as the day wore on and took the 4wds up the track less travelled. My still shiny new Missi did well and got her first muddy tyres and some scratches in the duco - it'll buff out. No real troubles finding the cache once we were nearby.
Thanks cfn69 for entertaining me at this location.

The Easter Holidays are here! And a group of us have a plan. Meaning today is the day we all leave our respective locations and all bar one of us make our way up to Maryborough for the night.
Fangsoki and I collected Just a Trifle on the way through, and then had a couple of select caches along the way I very much wanted.
Having now collected Crew153 and met up with Pprime and T4mmmy, we continued around to this cache, where we decided to test out Pprime’s new geomobile, Missi and take both her and the Canyonero on a little 4WDing expedition. This got us to within about 80 metres of the cache, from where we then made our way on foot.
We ducked under the fence and continued on, and once we were at GZ we spread out, looking for things that matched the hint. I spied something nice sized that certainly matched the hint, however T4mmmy certainly earned her keep here, finding this at a slightly less obvious one.
Thanks for the cache TheTassieDevil.

We four wheel drive in as far as we could. Walked the rest of the way..Only did this cache as it was an old cache. .found it some 16 metres from ground zero..Cache is great shape
We chose to park and then walk the final distance to this cache which became wise when we walked past a number of places where previous cars had got bogged. The GPSr had us off in another direction a bit today but once we widened the search it was found.
Day 8, and our final day in Maryborough before turning south and heading for home to look after grandkids during the holidays.
Our main aim was to finish as much of the Jolly Brolly Series as we could and look for some others around the showgroiunds where we are staying.
We were more successful on the JBF today, particularly with our fishing pole. Firstly we were able to spot the caches and then we experimented with extra extensions where necessary. Even used a 2nd TOTT on one occasion!
Some walking to get to caches closer to our camp, but all in all another good day.
Thank you so much to the cachers of Maryborough.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache TheTassieDevil.

Up in the area with The Bug and decided to collect a few older ones. We had been in the car so a leg stretch was a good idea. We probably could have got the 2wd SUV up the muddy track but played it safe. At GZ it took ages to find as many things matched the hint and the coords are 15m out as we saw in another log. Head north.
We completed the signing duties and re hid.

After a big morning out on the geocycle rounding up 70 of the geocaching 101 series I was having a respite break in the car. This one made my to do list because of the terrain rating. I need a heap of T3 caches.
My car could easily have gotten me closer to GZ, but with two bikes on the rack I opted to walk the alst section. It would appear a recent venturer was not wise enough to make the same decision.
No trouble locating this one thanks.

On a drive up to Bundaberg I had added a few select caches to the list as targets and this was definitely one. An older cache with a chance to use the 4WD peaked my interest.
The start of the track looked rough and ready although it settled down a bit after about 30 metres. In the end the 4 wheel power wasn’t required but there were definitely spots a high clearance vehicle came in handy.
My fear of heading down a narrow track is that someone else is driving the other way and there is no room to pass. I’m sure it’s a one in a million chance, but I haven’t won lotto yet so the rare occurrence is probably due to happen. Thanks for the chance to get on the dirt again. tftc

Day four of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and continuing to work our way through finding all the local and a few outer suburb caches. It was extremely overcast for the majority of the day but the compass never faulted and led us to every GZ without any hassles.
Lucky we had hiking boots for this one, got as far as we could by driving then walking the remainder. Cache was found quickly and log signed then back out of the bush and on our merry way, thanks CO.

One of my daughters who lives in Hervey Bay was getting an award today at school, so I made the trip from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back again in a day. Thankfully there's still a couple of caches between there that I hadn't gotten yet to break the long drive up.
895 kilometres in one day is a lot of driving! This was cache 20 of 33
Love a cache that you have to engage 4WD to get to. Combining two of my passions together. After cruising down the track, I got to as close as I could before I continued my pursuit on foot. Under a fence, under some high voltage powerlines and back into the bush. Wasn't long before a good sized cache was in my hands.
All in good condition
Thanks for the cache **cfn69**

Tftc cfn69, bit of light 4x4 activity then a bit of a bush walk to GZ, where a quick find was made
Beadling down the Bruce on a lazy Sunday in a northerly direction. Just a few caches and coffee ️ for today. Driving back to my base at Maryborough decided to have another crack at this cache
This time I parked and ducked under the temporary fence which I guess is to keep horses out of the public easement. A short walk and soon arrived at GZ for a quick find Retraced my steps in double time. Nice to convert this to a smiley on the map.

Walked to the cache alone from the bitumen road. Bit of a creepy location, but found it.
A few weeks back I was asked if I would like to go on a weekend caching trip chasing some target caches. With a leave passed granted, if I got all my work done at home, and seeing i would be on holidays anyways, a green light soon appeared.
Our last day of caching as a group and with target caches set, we were off. We had some multi’s, oldies, letterboxes, trads, puzzles and a lab series on the list to collect today, yes a busy day. The list did get added to as we passed a few others along the way.
Having a 4wd does have its advantages and that was the case with this one. I really enjoyed the drive in and out however my navigator did have a few moments of heart in mouth. The cache was found after a little walk around but the hint did help a lot. Another oldie to add to the list.
A good hide and with log signed and cache returned it was off to complete the others in this area. Thank you for placing it here.

Yeeehah! chamad has his 4WD and we took the road in. What a lot of fun - perhaps I should look at this more as it will save me some walking. Cache found some distance from GZ, but that happens with age and the hint is still current.
Spent a long weekend picking up caches around the area with great company! Thanks for placing and adding to our amazing adventures
After a false start on trying to find a way to the cache and ending up in a new housing estate managed to find a dirt track in. Thanks to the trusty 4x4 geomobile jumped and bumped our way in, parked and short walk after ducking under the electric fence to find the cache in excellent condition. Had another look at the satellite map and found a quicker easier way out. TFTC
Despite the poor weather forecast for the weekend, Crookedpete, JezNDez and I set off on an impromptu road trip from Brisbane to Bundaberg chasing a large patch of potential FTF 's which appeared to still be on offer. After a successful day yesterday, we were slowly making our way back to Brisbane, with a few more caches to find including this one.
Victor Del Prado was driven along the soggy track as close as we could get to GZ. An electric fence stood between us and GZ and some team work enabled us to crawl underneath without being zapped. Made it to GZ and the cache was promptly found. On the way back Crookedpete held the fence up with a stick while I crawled under. I returned the favour, only to have the stick snap as Crookedpete was part way through. I surmise the fence was inactive as there was no zap or yelp of pain or maybe it just brought back memories of his days in the gimp suit. TFTC

Some heavy rain forecasts scuttled the planned Bromance camping weekend in North NSW. The forecast around Bundy looked reasonable, and there were 70 FTF's with some generous DT up for grabs around Bundy . After a full day caching in Bundy yesterday and a restful night in an airbnb granny flat in Howard, we headed out with plans to visit Hervey Bay and Maryborough and grab some more unusual caches on the drive home
Older caches usually make our list of targets and being nearby for a puzzle, we continued on to grab this one. Parked not far away and then braved climbing through an electric fence - "touch it, Jeff, to see if it is working!" - before making the find. The log was signed with the Bromance team stamp. Many thanks cfn69

TFTC. We were due to have lunch with friends in Maryborough, so we took the opportunity to do some more of the caches around the area. We have passed by this section of town several times and decided to bite the bullet and do the three in this ‘showgrounds’ area. Rather then drive the vehicle we walked the tracks to find the caches. Everything in good order and extremely dry.
Found the cache about 10 metres or so from the posted co-ords.

Today is about completed the outstanding caches in and around Maryborough and to find the remainder of the caches for the Museum Heist.
Found this one today, after an earlier woosing out a few weeks ago when the place was awash. Managed to drive up the track, and slid under the inactive electric fence. Cache was dry and in good nick

Nana nel selected this as our must do cache this trip for it's D/T Rating.
In the area to catch up with friends for lunch and after, we made our way to this cache. Crossed the danger line with the use of a TOTT that I picked up and made our way to GZ. Nana nel discovered the cache about 10m from where we thought it would be (Old School).
Added a favourite and visited trackables.

Going to Maryborough today to visit friends, I planned this one for it's D/T and unloved days. Prepared ourselves got the gum boots out, arrived no electric fence today and no mud, drove up very close. Then a quick find near GZ, signed log and replaced. Thanks to TheTassieDevil.
Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.
Found by my eagle eyed 11yr old......first time he's ever had to scramble under an electric fence!

So very hot here at the moment. Its airconditioned caravan or airconditioned car! So a few park n grabs before heading to the shops was on the cards today. [:o)]
Not sure if we approached from the wrong side, but this cache would appear to be on private property now. We still hunted it out and signed the log.

The track was nice & dry & we set out along it, it was a little rough & then we crossed a tar sealed road. We should have taken this road to GZ still we were quiet close by now. We have often been caught in the Maryborough area with roads on our GPS that are not really there.
A short search & with the aid of the hint we soon had the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache TheTassieDevil

Great little wander through the bush, nice & dry today fortunately. Our GPS was also 15 mtrs out, but used our eyes instead! TFTC
I could park my car just 200 m from the cache and walk within less than 5 mins. Thank you very much for the cache. Cheers

We went around in circles for a while until finding the most likely way in. We had the same issues as the previous finders in that there are electric fences around and tape for horses. We parked the GeoBeast and GeoAJ walked to GZ. GPSr put him about 15m out but he looked around and made a find in the obvious spot. This cache is definitely an interesting one to try and get near these days but we made it in the end. TFTC
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there TheTassieDevil. We found your cache "The power is with you" at 11:03:00 AM today.
This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 1 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9839.)
[Blue]
We are trying to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us past some really wonderful & scenic locations.
After bumping down the dirt track in the trusty geo-fourby we were confronted with an electric fence and a very large and curious horse. It looks like someone has fenced off the power easement to corral their livestock. [/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 17m NNW from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Key ring.
Grabbed Trackable: "Muttchen´s TB"
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

We went the arse-about-tits way to this cache and didn't have a 4wd but decided to go to this one I our ute anyway. It was a bit rocky but we made it within 100m of the cache. Swapped some stuff and signed the log. On the way out we found some proper roads we really should have come along instead of our 2km rocky road in. Tftc
Did this in my bosses 2WD ute starting at the track which starts at the Bruce.
Defo not suited for low clearance cars but managed okay in the Hilux.
Didn't take too long to find. Would advise all cachers to make sure the fencing tape is not electrified before entering as noted later that some of these fences are hooked up to the mains!!!!
Fav point awarded as I enjoyed the challenge of the track and its location.
Trackable left.

It was a little bit of a challenge to find the correct road in as we are not from this area and roads marked on the map were not roads at all. It had been 8 months since this cache had been found.
Pulled up as close to GZ as possible and headed in. Passed some taped fencing which was just to keep horses in when adjisting them using the land for food for stock.
Geopartner followed the track to GZ and found the cache.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks cfn69/ The TassieDevil All good with this cache

Found cache OK. The Geomobile got me to within about 70m of it. Then it was just a short walk in through the bush to grab the cache. tnln TFTC.
Took the long way there and travelled too much narrow bush track but arrived close to GZ and walked the short distance to the cache. GPS a little off but could be due to tree cover. Tftc
Found at 2:14 PM GAFF1 at distance of 18 metres - is this another iPhone cache? This was a bit of a challenge to find the correct track in, but when we got there , there was orange and white tape all around. Were we allowed in? Was the tape electrified? Well we went in as nothing has been mentioned of this before and found the cache quickly even though the co-ords are way out.
Not one of our best experiences let me tell you
Thanks TheTassieDevil.

Thanks TheTassieDevil.
Camped in Maryborough to cache around the area.
Found a variety of caches, this being one of them.
Cache in good order, dry, and well hidden.

We tried driving to this one and came up with only mud or dead ends. As we are at the showgrounds for the Ulysses AGM we decided to walk to this one. We met a fence, see photo, then had a lovely stroll up a bitumen road then a lovely walk down a good, emphasis on good dirt road, then under an electric fence to find a cache in excellent condition. We found a couple of home made rockets on the way out. SL TFTC SL TFTC
Fifimeow and Rangz had to do this one solo while son and TashC waited on the dirt road ...
TashC found an injured little honeyeater - so they stayed behind to keep an eye on her while Rangz and I battled the grass, cow pats and electric fences
GPS really battled here - power lines interferring?
Was obvious where once we looked though

Did this cache while attending AJ2013 (Scout Jamboree) at the local Showground. Got out through the back gate of Jamboree and walked the 900 metres through the bush and activity to reach GZ. Took in hint and saw the likely place to hide a cache. Bingo Cache in hand. TFTCM

On a super hot day I jumped the back fence of the AJ2013 camp that I have attended for the last two weeks. A short(ish) 1.5km (or so) walk and the cache was mine.
I had to duck under an electric fence to get there though!

Had to crawl under an electric fence, but otherwise pretty straightforward. We matched the coords only approximately, though that may be a result of using a mobile phone for navigation! The surrounding area is being used by the AJ2013 Scout Jamboree, which is being held at the nearby showgrounds, and is patrolled by police and scout organisers - might be best to wait until after Jamboree (13th Jan 2013) before chasing this one.

My first find for the afternoon while visiting Maryborough
The Toyota did it easy and i did pull a Nissan out of a bog on the way there (Just Kidding LOL )
As the last log indicated, there is a new electric fence that has been erected along the fenceline.
I didnt see one across the road. I drove in from the road to about 20mtrs from GZ.
I carefully climbed under the fence to get to GZ. The gap is about 50 or 60cms high.
Cache is in good condition
No TB's in cache

An electric fence has been erected across the road and also for quite some distance along the power line. Apparently this is to keep in some horses fenced in.
At present we believe that the cache is inacessable, and the cache owner should check to determine if the cache needs to be temporarily disabled (until the fence is removed) or re-located to a more accessable spot.

In good nic ....hugh container ...Left a cap...took little earphones ..no body around TFTC
Access to this has just been altered by a local.
An electric fence has been erected to keep in some horses,
which means the muggle is nearby often.
Today he spotted me from 100m away and wanted to see where I was going.
I backtracked and gave it a miss.

Didn't have a 4x4 but managed to find a road that we could use to get fairly close to GZ. We stepped carefully as there were a few wet spots but the cache was found quickly.

HAPPY HUNTING ALL.
HAPPY HUNTING ALL.
due to illness have been unable to get to caches, all will be maintained over the easter weekend
Did the long walk to this one.
The co-ords are close enough, after finding I took the Co-ords several times to average them out, E25*29.695-703' S152*39.132-139' Average Co-ords S25*29.699 & E125*39.136' The variation would be due to the tree cover.
All well with the cache.

This was my next find whilst in the area. I parked up where I knew the car would not be getting bogged and made my way into the area. The GPSr soon told me it was time to leave the track. I plodded through the bush - hoping no brown snake would come out to say hello. I got to GZ and started the hunt.
At first I found nothing. Checked the hint. Couldn't even find something to match that. Widened my search and eventually found the beast. I have posted up the co-ords that worked for me today. A great patch of bush. TFTC cfn69
