Fairly confident we solved the puzzle but the ground was so overgrown couldnt reach the cache
Spending the day exploring the Adelaide Hills and grabbing a few caches along the way. I started in Bridgewater, then to Mount Barker and then to Nairne. Despite the wind, I had an enjoyable day visiting new places. This one was solved a few years ago so it was about time I converted it to a smiley. A bit of a of slippery and muddy approach to get to GZ, but a quick find. All good here. Thank you voogoofish, for placing HFL Bridgewater for the geocaching community.# # #15192 # #
This one sat on my solved list for quite a while before I was passing through the area after a productive afternoon chasing smileys. I strongly agree approaching from below is best.
I spotted the hiding spot quite easily, the hard part was making my way there! Thanks for keeping this one going

Quickly solved this at work today then popped over to GZ around sunset. Solving the Sudoku was a lot more fun than wading through the waist high sopping wet Bulbil Watsonia to get to GZ! Cache is dry and in good condition, TNLN.

I solved this puzzle a few years ago and has been sitting here for quite some time, today I made my way to GZ after going through the grass I got to GZ for a quick find.
Two with 2 events on, one in the hills mid morning and another after lunch back in the city, I decided to head to the hills early to find some caches in around the local towns as it was quite, a nice morning out dodging the rain.
Thanks for the cache

A quick find here on a sunny afternoon. I visited Mt Barker and Hahndorf (parking hell ) and did a lab cache and a handful of caches Solved a handful of puzzles before arriving in the Adelaide Hills.
Septic was on the nose on walk to GZ. All good with this cache

Found this with geo daughter thankfully. She covered the last bit of terrain with me pointing and saying “over there I think”. Chatted with theSA water guys digging up the sewerage, who wondered what we were doing. TFTC TNLNSL
After checking a couple of places we ventured in a bit further and was a nice easy find. Definitely come from the bottom, a much easier climb. BearyOrganised let me go on and get this one!!! Log signed, told the curious SA water guys what we were doing then off to the next cache. Tftc
I love soduku as well, so had to solve this puzzle. Once I had the confirmed coordinates, it was then a matter of finding a time to attempt the cache - the cooler afternoon today seemed like a good opportunity. Approaching the GZ was a little tricky, and my exit path was a lot easier than how I approached. Once at GZ I soon had CIH. The cache is in good condition. Signed and returned. TFTC!
Thanks VooGooFish for this cache. I smashed out the puzzle this morning over breakfast, and put it in the itinerary for todays caching. Turned out to be second cab off the rank.
I made it hard on myself, I approached from the top and made my way through the mini creek a few times before I had the right tree. Cache in good condition, signed and exited via a far easy path. Nice work here.

Found with Oakax on her first hunt! Good little find while waiting for the clothes at the laundromat.

Today, after participating in parkrun and completing an errand, I headed up to Bridgewater to find a few target caches that I had on my target list. I drove along Onkaparinga Valley Scenic detouring through Balhannah, Oakbank, and Woodside, and then returned to Adelaide via Carey Gully. A pleasant temperature day to be out in the hills.
A friendly puzzle that I had completed some time ago. Whilst nearby, I parked and made my way down the hill, and up to GZ. I somewhat followed the geotrail, and as I was walking in the bushes, a black snake slithered in front of me. Yikes, I need to be really paying attention to the wildlife, and so then exercised caution in finding the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks voogoofish for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I had looked for this one 3 years ago when it was missing and as I was driving past today I had to stop and convert my frownie into a smilie now that the cache has been replaced. [^]
Scrambled up to GZ and soon found the cache in a similar spot to where I had looked previously.
Thanks for the cache.

First mystery case took a bit to work out cords had to use 2 phones but worked out in the end.
Today fluffymaxi and I needed to find 23 geocaches to finish the Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. We targeted caches needed to fill gaps in the Jasmer grid (3) and the hidden date grid (20) and had a couple of spares up our sleeves in case of DNF’s, which there were a few.
This cache was our sixteenth find of the day, but wasn’t one of those we had planned. We had a DNF on a nearby cache that was planned and realised that the solution to this one was nearby, so we made this a substitute for the one we had planned.

After picking up a nearby first to find I continued my caching afternoon in the nearby area. A wet and rainy day meant that I got rather soaked in my exploits, though it was still a rather an enjoyable day. After an hour or so, I was too damp to continue so I made my way home to a dry house.

Seeing that this one has a number of dnfs and no finds in over a year plus knowing the fate of voogoofish i decided to replace the cache so it wont get archived. base of tree, under rocks. fruit container painted black.
Was having lunch nearby so decided to come over here to look for this cache. [^]
Saw some cachey possibilities at my GZ but sadly no cache.
After widening my search I did find a lid, but not the replaced cache.
Not sure if this one is still here. [?]

Finally had the opportunity to pass by GZ today en route to the event at Monarto. Container was located, but minus lid, logbook and holding water. Replaced the container with a new one, included a new logbook and transferred the other contents into the new container. Should be good for a while now. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Found the cache, in the right spot but without a lid and water inside. Drained and placed some bark over the mouth of the container, but really it needs some maintenance. No log, so couldn't sign. Took a plastic soldier and left a dinosaur.
Caching today with Purrfect Di.
One game leads to another and the numbers soon had us locating the cache.
No footy today!

A quick sudoku, a short walk, and an easy find. TFTC. 23/03/2016, 10:50 Find #1786
Owl was on a slow drive to a birthday party in the Hills. The party was great, but caching was tricky. Owl loves a good Sudoku, so had this one knocked off ages ago and just needed an excuse to come and get it. A nice little walk got her to a nice little location where no cache was to be found. Owl needed to give up and hightail it to the party, so turned around and there it was! Phew!
First puzzle cache find so a good one to start with. Footy training was on but no-one paid any attention to what we were doing. After all we where just taking the geodogs for a walk. SL . TN. Left signature item
Found this with Daddy while out driving around. mummy was at work and my sister was on cub camp
Geo Daughter (1funny Bunny) solved the puzzle. We then ventured out to find it on Pi day while the rest of the family was working or on Cub Camp

After quickly solving the puzzle, today we headed to look for the cache. We took precautions as we searched the area with lots of dry gass and lead litter but it didn't take too long before the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache voogoofish.
Gotcha!
Found the cache. But, dammit! I forgot to get the clue.
That's going to make getting the last one a bit hard.

Thanks voogoofish, we found your cache.
Thanks voogoofish, we found your cache.
As Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and I made our way from Adelaide to Murray Bridge for the Mega Event, we had planned a winding route through the hills to collect some of the puzzles that we have had solved since 2010... It's nice to be able to finally claim them after our last trip to SA lft us short on time and unable to grab all the ones we had solved.. [^]
We arrived at GZ to find the container in the middle of the track... Hmm, that's odd... [?] We sorted out the business end of things ans tucked the cache into a likely spot, then added some camo to keep it safe...
Thanks for the puzzle and cache voogoofish.

The puzzle was easily solved before we left. We made it to GZ today and after negotiating a gully we got to GZ and I made a quick find! Logbook was signed and we were off!
Found on Day 1 of the pilgrimage to Murray Bridge for the Mega event. Today I was with Gunnie69 ad Kaiho53 as we made away along the Princes Highway, stopping at Cleland Conversation Park, Mt Lofty, Belair National Park, Stirling, Mt Barker, Balhannah, before arriving late in the day in Murray Bridge.

Found myself around the corner from this one after a birthday dinner in the hills, and having solved the puzzle quite some time ago went for a wander with my companions. Despite horribly inappropriate footwear, we all made it to the GZ and shortly after the cache was found exposed. Signed and hid cache where it was found with a little natural camo. TFTC voogoofish!

I couldn't finish the day with a DNF on a Z cache so I went and found this one in the dark on the way home...

Completed the puzzle the night before & had the puzzle finished under minutes.
The oval was pretty busy with junior footy training, but no-one was watching me as I snuck in under the radar to the Heysen trail. Found the cache rather exposed, so covered up with a bit of mulch. Great afternoon for some caching in the hills.

No footy today!! The whites were out and nothing but the sound of cherry on willow. Nevertheless Marmela and TM ventured towards GZ On the back of a loud appeal for caught behind. The third umpire looks over the footage...waiting...waiting.....yep, gone!! The team heads back to the car with victory in sight chasing a modest total of caches for the day. TFTC voogoofish.
Found as part of a "?" night assault with Mogni, AussieM&M, Muff1, DennisC52, LocusCache and Brisal5. Great fun all negotiating that last little bit in fading light to the cache!! Thanks voogoofish for the hide!!
Found during an excellent night-time Mystery Cache adventure with brisal5, mogni, muff1, Dennisc52, locus cache and CPwanderer.
Solved this puzzle correctly, but arrived to find that we had made a minor error entering the coordinates into the GPSr (111kms is only minor, right?). Luckily as part of the large group we were able to make the correction and then the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC.

After a crazy day at work, I had been looking forward to a night of caching and this became even better when it turned out that a group caching trip was about to eventuate to snaffle some puzzles that some of this group had put lots of time and effort into solving! [^]
My thanks to the puzzle solvers, to the CO's for providing caches for us to locus cache on and to the fantastic group (Dennisc52, brisal5, mogni, muff1, CPwanderer and Aussie M & M) who made the night out so much fun that I didn't get home until 3.45am, after scoring two solo FTF's once the group had disbanded
I had picked up Dennisc52 and we drove here to wait for the others to arrive.
There were three muggles here when we arrived but they soon departed and allowed us to make the find in peace.

Got an invite from locus cache early in the day to join her, and a small group (brisal5, mogni, muff1, CPwanderer and Aussie M & M), to cache hunt some mysteries around town. At least that was the intention. We met at Bridgewater, and finished up at Richmond at 2:00 in the morning, although I see by her logs that locus cache soldiered on till about four! Keen or what?
This was the start of our run, and was quickly found after a minor coord correction. TFTC.

Luckily I was using my own answers and had entered them correctly, plus with someone who had actually previously found it. I walked, tripped, walked tripped OUCH!!!! and then made the find. Thanks for making a puzzle I could solve.
A night time magical mystery tour with Mogni, Aussie M & M, Brisal5, Locus Cache Dennisc52 and CPwanderer on the hunt for puzzle caches. Laughter was complimentary to the evening.

Our first find, son got a thrill . Container still wet inside, tried to seal bags with books as well as possible.
My log for this one seems not to have appeared, so here is another one. I needed some fresh air after an afternoon at the cinema with eldest cacher, so set out to find my closest unfound cache, having quickly solved the wee puzzle. The path to the cache was certainly well trodden and the nice afternoon had dissolved into the murk of heavy drizzle at twilight. Quick sign and then had a bit of a job extricating a plastic frog from the cache container for youngest cacher, replaced with a parachutist. It was a bit of job because some other kind cacher had placed two big plastic spiders in there - not good when you are a bit spider phobic
All signed and returned, the only people I met were some soggy teenagers who had been hanging out by the creek. The real frogs were 'reep-reeping' as I walked back along the creek. Thanks for this handy wee cache - now I need to go and do the rest of the series!

Out enjoying the winter sun with Roguewatermelon. At last a nice easy puzzle cache that didn't take hours to solve. Wouldn't like to be playing here and go for a slide in the mud. The ducks have fertilized it so thoroughly there is more duck droppings than grass! Thanks voogoofish. Log damp but still usable. No TB sighted.

Had actually solved this on a previous trip when we never got anywhere near here. Out for the day enjoying the weather (NOT) and the German sausages. Always nice to find a puzzle especially when you can't check your solution. TFTC and a look at the wheel.
A great view from up here. Took a while to find as it wasn't in the obvious spots and the GPS was very jumpy today. Took Bottle Opener, left Horse. Cheers.
The people of Bridgewater can consider themselves very lucky with such a scenic oval. The Mill at one end and the beautiful recreation reserve at the other end.
GZ was pitch black by the time I got there. The rain had just temporarily stopped but the area was soaking wet. For a while I was wandering around aimlessly and just could not get a decent sat reading. After about 3 circles where the GPS kept on telling me GZ was 12m away I finally got it down to 1m and lo and behold, the cache was right at my feet.

The soggy old note book is making the rest of the container wet. Funny. The old book is soaked and zip loc bag is trying to keep the moisture in! I thought the bag was to keep the moisture out!
We had driven into Bridgewater to look at the mill. A muggle stopped to tell us how to take better photographs. We then wandered over to GZ and got muggled out be a couple of dog walkers who decided to stop for a chat. Eventually they moved on.

Started searching nearby when some walkers asked if we were geocaching [^].
After a short conversation, we continued our search, eventually finding a very wet cache with a broke lid, complete with slug .
Took it all back to the car and dried what we could.
Took saturated teddies. Left spiders (no TB in the cache). Signed a new log book and put it in a new bag.
Put everything in a plastic coffee bottle before returning to its spot .

A last-minute late night Sudoku-solving frenzy led to us being able to find this one today. The clue was fine, but the container is broken and the contents wet. The log is damp but still signable. Replaced the cache upside down so moisture might run out of it. TFTC.

will get onto this in a few weeks as away on holiday... It's still there, just wet... and has a hole!!!

long time since its been found. infact I played a footy match for bridgy today we lost but it was fun TFTC voogoofish
Not sure why I was worried about muggles here last time, the cache is actually a little away from the clear area. This time I came here just as it was getting dark, and ran into a couple who were looking for a waterfall on the trail somewhere. Discovered that the girl was from Germany and had done some geocaching there, so all was good.
Unfortunately I hadn't read the logs before coming here, so didn't realise the container was broken. Didn't have a replacement with me, so it's still in need of repair. A little water is getting in, but it's in decent shape considering.
TNLN - Thanks Voogoofish!

Found after nearly a year since our first attempt. This was one of the first caches we tried to do when we started caching at the end of last year but only realised when we were there that it was a puzzle. Mrs TiedyeSmileys then solved the puzzle soon after but we never seemed to get back there or when we did, we didn't have our solution with us. Now, with red flags for solved puzzles on our GPS, we finally stopped at this on the way through and found this.
Unfortunately we had not read the logs recently so didn't have anything to repair the badly broken lid with us.

Am aware but after another operation may not be able to fix for a bit... will get there asap though!
Solved ages ago and finally found over the long weekend - on a quick hike from Woodhouse where we were staying for a scout camp. GPSr was pointing to approx 10m away so we set a large search radius and ignored it. Found eventually though
Took - Guides Badge
Left - Travel Bug
**Note to Owner**
When replacing the lid, my thumb went straight through it, so the cache needs some urgent maintenance. We have replaced the cache upside down, with a snap lock bag across the break, but this is only temporary and needs a more permanent fix. Sorry!!

Have been sitting on this one for a while trying to find the right time.
Today seemed to be as good as any. Got close to GZ and relised the cache couldn't possibly be in the middle of the oval!
Did the puzzle again and came up with something more likely. A quick walk and cache was in hand.
Looked for TB 'The Rock' but nothing!!
Dropped off GC and signed the log. Great spot up here.
Cheers Voogoo's and happy caching.
