Given the comments/concerns expressed by a 'local' re children/strangers (you get the general idea) I do not want any cacher to be placed in an awkward situation.
With that in mind the cache is now archived.

After lunch in Samford this cache was an easy find.
Found a spot on the last page to sign in the full book.

Interesting park. Lots of pine cones. Located cache and finished a good afternoon caching. TFTC
1035hrs. In the area with a little time to kill. An easy find on a nice day in a large park. Certainly muggle free. TFTCSL
Find #29. Found 30/7/11 @1330.
Nice easy find but had to watch for the mowing muggle. I know where to come if I need pine cones!
TNLN/SL. Log is now full.
TFTC wingaap, I enjoyed reading about the history of Samford

14 finds since the log book was checked...and it's full now. Strange!
Perhaps future cachers could use the reverse side of each page.....or even sign on a page which has space!

Another cache that stairman1 had already found some days ago. I really nice patch of grass to sit and relax, i love the smell of pine cones in the afternoon.
What’s this. An almost “standard” cache container. wingaap must have had a slack day.

A quick walk through the park to retrieve this cache. No need to worry about muggles for this one

The eldest GeoKid was adamant about doing this one by herself. Needless to say after pointing in the right direction she found it. Took nothing, but left Shrek to guard over the cache. TFTC.
I was heading through Samford Valley and decided to give this one a go.
Nice and quiet at the GZ. Thanks for the cache Wingaap.
I love the old cart and the bridge nearby. Very interesting.

This one will have us laughing for the next 6 months. Not the cache, the journey to the cache. Only I could find a face hugging spider web in the middle of a field. Hard to be inconspicuous when you're doing the get-it-off-me dance. Found the cache with no further problems.
Out with Aussiemates today enjoying a selection of caches from Dayboro to Samford, mostly of Wingaap as she is a big fan. Nice easy one this one. TFTC
Oh Wingy. My heart broke reading your maintenance log. Pleeeeaase don't give up. We totally understand why you'd be upset. We've seen the effort put into your caches and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of them. I was most upset to see that someone had removed your turtle's home. We hope you'll continue to bring joy to cachers in the area. I'm looking forward to introducing a friend to some of your caches next weekend. Please don't give up. Please....
Emptied all the crud out of the cache this morning. I will not be resupplying this cache with swaps.
Originally it had a couple of matchbox cars, several geocaching patches and some odd assortment of swaps. Today it had a rusty bangle, several shells (small one at that) and a couple of glass beads! Hardly what I'll class as fair swapping! I've had it....the cache now contains a log book and pencil.
Also how a cache made from pvc pipe ....a screw cap lid with seal can get full of water is beyond me. I think this must come down to uncaring caches who cannot be bothered to ensure the lid is put on securely.
All those that complain about eclipse tins...yet when they find a cache which is different that havent got the decency to close it properly.
Yes I've having a rant with this...it's getting to the stage where I am wondering why I bother to put out caches. Seriously now....I spent my time and money on providing a cache for the enjoyment of others. I make continually trips (and we all know how expensive petrol is these days) to maintain the cache....for what? Some cachers can even write a decent log...I'm afraid TFTC just doesnt cut it.
Maybe I'll have a new rule....for every cache log I get with nothing more than 'found it'....'cache x of xx for the day' or TFTC I will archive one of my caches. Hey if people dont appreciate what's out there why should we bother. Just image if noone placed a cache for you to find.....think about it!

The grass in the reserve is about 3 foot high so we decided we would turn this into a drive-by. Cache was found safe and well although the log was a little damp and stinky . No sign of the monument hiding in the long grass, so thanks for providing us with some history of the area Wingaap
Very easy find on the way back home from Bunya to The Gold Coast. Except the walk to the GZ seemed to be a long time (only 2 mins or so) because of the higher than waist height grass! we were very worried about snakes! and there was a lot of mud. . hopefully the council will get it mown again soon! TFTC
Easy find with GeoE. Was a bit water logged after all the recent rain. Said hello to neighboring horses on way out. TFTc
This was cache # 15 of 20 for the day, on a day caching around the hills. I enjoyed reading the history on the cache page and my walk across the grass to find the cache. My thanks to wingaap for the cache.
Found with Net88, TFTC, lovely little Park, i've driven past a few times in the past month and always wondered if one was there. TFTC
One Cache on a 15 kilometre biketour! TFTC and Greetings from Germany!

568 - Have driven past this one on many occasions and knew that there was a cache somewhere in this area but didn't have the coordinates in the GPSr until recently. Found in good condition after a brief search at 1:36pm. Thanks for showing us this historical location wingaap.
Got to this one after dark and with the help of the light from my GPS was able to isolate and extract it. SL. TFTC Wingaap
A quick drive by, if that possible. Found while visiting friend in the area. TFTC
Nice quiet and cool spot on a surprisingly warm winters day. This is a very pretty part of the world. TFTC
Found it easily. I always find it interesting to see that I'm not the only one to have visited in a single day
Lovely little park!

TNLN (Have intended to drop of a TB, but it didn't quite fit in this one)

Gunnie and I were on the big clockwise loop chasing down the mystical Catweazle....and of course grabbing some extras on the way past. A quick walk, some seriously accurate coords...and this one was in hand!
Thanks for the cache Wingaap. Cheers, svn07

What a neat little area tucked in off the road... A couple of horses kept an eye on Svn07 and I as we ambled toward GZ... [^]
With coords so accurate, there was no trouble with the find and with my name in the log, I racked up finds on 100 Wingaap caches...
Cheers Wingaap, I have enjoyed every one of them... [^]

Almost last day of the school holidays so a family outing was the order of the order of the day especially before weekend sporting commitments start again.
So we headed for Samford and the Samford markets. Well we were expecting more but we still enjoyed our wander around the markets and still managed to part with some money for a bit of "not-so-local" craft.
Then it was only a short walk to the cache. GZ seemed to have a lot of places where a cache might have been hidden but fortunately Wingaap is a kind cache placer.
We stopped on the way out to read the plaque before heading off for some lunch.

Almost missed this one, it pays to rummage around! Excited to find our first geocoin!
Quick find in a lovely but totally deserted park today. Left Go Australia geocoin to move on with someone new. TFTC
Hope they don't have a bonfire soon... Our friend Abby helped with this one. TFTC
Mother's day was a beautiful day for a drive out to Samford to pick up a few of the caches in the area. This was stop number 2 for the day. The park was totally deserted while we were there. Left geocoin but no sign of listed trackable. TFTC wingaap
Found it, and a Travel Bug, sorry for the delay.

Hi just popping in to drop in a little travel bug. Cache is in good condition, area is now nice and dry.
Groewrs told us this was a good one - didn't tell us how hard it would be to park though!
After a little searching soon had this one in the log. No swaps today. TFTC, Wingaap.

26/03/2010 09:31 Found: Third of the day. It took me a couple of passes in the car to find a place to pull over for this one. Once parked it was a quick find.
Took 'And they're off #4' Geocoin. Didn't have anything to leave.
Thanks for the cache, wingaap

What a lovely spot. Found it after reading someone else's comment about knowing the difference between logs and trees. I did look there first but obviously didnt look properly. Lol. Walked around after the find and took some nice pictures. I took nothing but left a travel bug.
Flo of Ebb&Flo
Ebb would have loved it here.

No 2 on an afternoon of caching in Samford.
Dropped off 2 travel bugs but have now discovered that I didn't actually enter that I retrieved Little Metal Voodoo Doll from The Russians Are Coming. Hope the next finder can help with this and send it on its way again. Thanks

After studying the direction and distance the gps was giving us, plus a quick visual scan of said area, Mr Simia and I had a good, old fashion, elbows out, footrace to the GZ. Unfortunately, on this occasion, victory was not to be mine. However i did briefly spot the Edelweiss geocoin. Signed log @ 1-43pm and stopped to read plaque on the way back to the car.
NOTE TO SELF: I must remember not to confuse my logs with my trees, with my stumps. TNLN TFTC
Found at 1342 with Loupyloo. A fairly easy find after we read the hint and Loupyloo and Mr Simia raced to the final location. Mr Simia claimed this one but he was not to rest on his laurels
A nice quiet spot with quite a bit of history. We stopped to have a quick look at the buggy and read the plaque. Took the Edelweiss Geocoin to keep it going on it's floral journey. TFTC Wingaap

Took the geo-kids for a little drive, found this one easily, which got them all excited. TFTC. Took: wish you were here geo coin. Left lots of little stuff.
Nice walk to find this cache which is in good condition. Container is quite full and my trade didn't help in this regard.
Parking was difficult, found a nearby location off the main road at S 27° 22.011 E 152° 53.319

Took: Keyring

Nice park for a quick find, had a chat to the horses next door before leaving. Left a geocoin.
Accompanied with Alchemy2 for the day of caching around. A nice and quick find. Thanks for bringing us to the lovley area and the cache.
Kids had a ball with this one. Picked up Too Slow Robo Bug... Great spot! TFTC.
Lots of muggles around attending the local fete, fortunatey we were shaded by a row of houses. Left the Too Slow Robo TB. TFTC.
Number eight for the day ann on the home run. Stopping in a Samford to grab some lunch and to let the smallest of the Geokids a play at the park. TNLNSL TFTC
Parking was a bit of a problem with this one, but just pulled off the road in front of the park. Not the best place to park as you're very close to the road.
I'd forgotten what the hint was for this cache, so had some trouble finding this. Fortunately I had some time to kill, so got down on hands and knees to find this one.
Great hiding place!
Very sneaky.
Signed the log, but TN/LN... ( I really should prepare with potential trade items).
TFTH.
I've since been informed that there is parking available (I just didn't find it [8)])

Thanks for this nice easy cache, nice stroll through the park with my caching friends.
This was a very easy find after a match of soccer near by. Wasn't covered very well but after we finished with it we covered it back up!! Every in good nick!

What a waste of time and money this trip was. A 60km round trip to check on a couple of caches.
I had no problem finding this one....it was there laying in plain sight. It was sort of leaning in the hole where it belonged. Geeesh what happened to replacing the cache exactly as your found it....if not better. The cache is supposed to be hidden!!!
Now this cache is of pvc construction with a rubber seal in the lid. Well it did have a rubber seal in the lid. No sign of it in the immediate area. I hasten to add that the seal was siliconed into place ...bits of silicon and seal are still visible in the lid. Who...or why would anyone remove the seal????
The contents were beyond redemption. It would have been nice if the last visitor could have removed the soggy contents....I guess in this day and age that is just a little much to ask. It seems clearly evident that it's all about the numbers and dont give a damn about those that take the trouble to hide caches for you to find.
After a day like today I really wonder why I bother putting caches out. It might just be enough to turn me into a 'user' like the majority of cachers appear to be!!
