What a great place to hide a cache - and so nice to see such a big cache in such a busy spot. TNLNSL TFTC
Nice easy find after a short stroll out the path. No cars around which made it a bit easier.

Found with JAB's and Code1 on our Easter caching weekend as the Tablelands Cachers. I was surprised by the size of this cache on the bridge.
In the dark of night we found this one quick. It was great to see a large hide on a bridge.
JABs.
JABs.
Great bridge, the cache was depleted of treasure, we would have liked to fill the cache with goodies but we left our treasures back in the car (too far away). Also a few of the magnets have come unstuck from the inside of the container, but still a few there holding it in place.

Found this one mid-morning on the north (before its removal) and saw the signs indicating the pending bridgeworks on the return journey. No swaps. Thanks Subydazz & Sarah
This will be out of action for a while as major bridge works are scheduled from 25th August to 19th December and access to pedestrians and traffic is restricted during this time. Pending the actual areas that will be off limits, I hope to be able to bring it back much sooner than anticipated.
Back again for another look
It was freezing cold out on the bridge with a savage wind ripping right through me [:o]
A heavy shower of rain was fast approaching too !!
Fortunately the cache was quickly spotted and with a 40 to 50 knot tailwind I was blown back across the bridge to shelter just before the rain hit

Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble on my N95!!!! It was a night run free of unwanted eyes! probably looked like a drug deal more than anything An easy find for our first cache! Awesomeness!!!!!
TFTC GeoKid found it straight away. Cool quick find.

A busy bridge with both cars & pedestrians aplenty. I could see the cache from a distance so rehid but 6 of one, half dozen of the other. TNLN. Thanks.
1525 While waiting to meet up with fellow cacher Dazz thought I'd get a cache (or 2). GPSr had me ~8m to west of cache, and had to use a lot of patience while a lot of cars were going by. Finally got the cache. Left gold stretchy frog.
Brought through Dr Quack and 't Kuuk TBs - little birds on the run.

Our last cache of the day on the 1st of our 5 day trip to NSW. We had more trouble trying to find a car park than we did finding the cache container on this one. Once this was done a pleasant stroll was had in the last of the evening light to walk off dinner from a nearby establishment. The co-ords were accurate and the cache was found very quickly
Thanks SUBYDazz & Sarah

TThanks for the hunt. I really liked this one. The thrill out of standing on a bridge when a few cars go over is really fun. Thanks for the super glue! Left a swap. Love the grey paint its matches!!
My beau just home from QLD. While away she told me about Geo something. Yeah Ok...just another fad thingy. She got home this afternoon. Mmmmm. After we conversed about her trip we had tea in town and then it started. Our middle man was at a school disco (do they still call it that??) My first introduction to this great hobby was about to be thrust unto me. Not knowing what to expect I got out of the car and followed my beau after Henry said to stop. She said it is around here somewhere. What are you after? I asked. I'm not sure but a container will have something in it. Right...I said. Not long after I saw a black, plastic, round container hanging off the bridge. What's this doing here? Is this what we're looking for?.....Well the rest will be history (such a Cliché I know). Took a GC & TB and left a Polarity gift and filled in the log. Will be sure the Bog Frog reaches a swampy and wet location.

T - coloured ball to make room
L - TB, the Wandering Bog Frog - a recent arrival from the USA. Plenty of evidence of recent flooding to make him feel at home!

Tried this one after we couldnt find "The Crossing" much easier and we found it after a short search. Can see the floods made quite a mess around here, but good to see the cache safe & sound.

This cache is not expected to be affected by current major flooding of the Hunter River in Singleton.
I could scarcely believe anyone would put a cache in such plain sight, but it was worth remembering that nobody would be looking there anyway! Good planning, TFTC!
found with Mira and Cherryred, our 10th cache for the day!clever location!!

2nd cache for the day on the way home from Tuff truck 2007. GPS put me about 5 metres away from GZ, so that put paid to a nice easy find. Searched everywhere on my knees, as I knew it was magnetic. What didnt help was I was reading the clues for "The Crossing" instead of the real clues. Having searched everywhere without getting silly and half hanging off the walkway to look underneath, and realising it wasnt at ground level, because this would have been tresspassing, I widened the search to the structure itself. Only then did the sneaky thing reveal itself. Then, just to wait for a break in the traffic for the grab, then signed, then to wait for a pedestrian muggle to ge before replacing. I must have looked weird, standing there watching the river in motorcycle leathers.
Anyhow, found at 1.00pm. Find number 48 for the trip.
Cheers

Such a well sized cache considering its hideing spot.
Realy starting to get quite hot about now, I think the air con in the car needs regasing.

A muggle right at GZ when we got there, but he didn't stop. We pointed at the horses for a while, he probably thought we were some sort of freaks. He was right! Bodysteppingfreaks!
Well crafted hide guys. Found easily and stashed back. Took the german geocoin, I'll zip it down towards Sydney to see if we can get it on it's way back home as per it's mission
Thanks for the hunt.

Not sure if reported bridge maintenance actually occurred, but have returned the cache in any case.
Found it. A lovely day for some bridge strolling and I found it before the boys haha
Took the sticky tape (counting the days till chrissy) and left a kids ring and a sparkly glitterball. Grabbed the travel bug and will move it on very soon.

There's something deeply satisfying about putting a cache container like this one back in its hiding place TNLN TFTC
Like the cache before, this one was a juggling act between the GPS, the 3 ½ year old and with a little more luck this time the cache. #3 today TNLN, TFTH, GDC with Seymour.

found had to be careful of cars going by but was able to put it back without anyone seeing
The coast was clear as we approached GZ...then people started to turn up from everywhere.
We spent a good 15 mins discussing the river below before we were able to retrieve the cleverly hidden cache.
TNLN because we weren't expecting to find such a large magnetic cache so I didn't bring my caching bag of tricks with me. We did grab the TB though.
Thanks for the FTF!
