One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

After several weeks of rain we now have fine weather so it was time to get out of the house.
Same story as previous logs. Looks like this ones had its day.

11-Jan-17
Needs checking from co as it appears to be missing

17-Sep-16
We searched all around but with the new structure it was difficult to reach parts of the old bridge. Reading through previous logs we were still unable to come up with the cache.

17-Aug-16
Out and about in the area finding a few caches. Smile
After a lot of searching on both sides of the bridge I still had not found the cache. Twisted
Too tricky for me today.

26-Mar-16
Sigh to many hiding places for this one. The hint didnt help and needs a better one. Lovely old bridge

Thanks for the cache had a stumped for a few minutes

25-Dec-14
Great hide 3rd time lucky for this find. Merry Christmas

21-Dec-14
This was an easy find when you think there is only one area on the bridge it could be. It was just a process of elimination.
There is extra superstructure on the bridge now, due to repair works, which makes things a bit tight when cars come by. You have to stretch a bit to get to the cache.

Adjusted the position... It didn't look healthy as it had been placed against a bolt.

30-Jun-14
This is a hard one! TFTC!

22-Jun-14
Too tough for us today, half a dozen cars came through in the twenty minutes we were there and we had too many littlies. Will try again another day.

21-Jun-14
3rd visit and finally!!!

08-Jun-14
Would really love a hint. Gps is not very accurate with the metal additions.

However lovely area to keep coming back to.

17-May-14
Sweet heavens, what were you thinking????? Had to make an investment in my geocaching tools to find this in the end.

17-May-14
Damn bridges!

13-Oct-13
Trick one. Nice find. Thank you.

12-Oct-13
Second visit to this site to locate cache and BINGO this time. Found with Kaa1971.

May need to up the difficulty rating due to additional structures on bridge making it a bit more difficult to obtain cache.

Nice Hide.

Was a tricky spot to reach. Needed to pay more attention to the coords than the hint. TFTC.

14-Jul-13
Well, we finally get to log this one. This has the honor of being our longest hunted cache, this was our fourth visit to GZ. We spent about half an hour each time, then we got a hint as to which side of the bridge to look and it still took twenty minutes to find. Thanks AlienRiders for the long lasting adventure and of course the cache.

27-Jun-13
On holiday out this way. Had a quick look but no find today.

25-Apr-13
I studied the wording, published dates, attributes etc and discounted all the new gal. reinforcing. My efforts had me standing on top of the concrete piers with a huge dropSurprised But they payed off in the end. This one could of had us looking all day. And now looking at the cache page my hunch was right.

Found at 10:23 AM GAFF5 in the company of Browngang. We thought that we were going to be here for ever as there are so many possibilities contrary to what the hint says. We were also led to the viewing refuge as we thought that was another hint Sad and didn't go to any extremes as it was a mere Terrain 1.5. So you can imagine my delight when after just a few minutes, Browngang (who by now was dangling over the side Surprised) suddenly stated "Here it is!" Big Grin
Thanks AlienRiders for the great information about the bridge.
Feedback: The terrain rating should be at least 2.5

I am not sure if this cache is there anymore.

Equity had the day off today, which doesn't happen too often and, so, we decided to do two caches we had on our to-do list for a while; Peppercorn Park and Middle Falbrook Bridge.

We'd just come from a find at Peppercorn Park and made our way back home to Singleton via Middle Falbrook Bridge to try for another find.

After reading previous logs, we weren't too confident that:

A) We'd find it,
B) Be safe searching for it.

We found the bridge with no dramas but it was exactly as imagined. The GPS was stuffing up left, right and centre and there is no phone reception here either so I don't know if the co-ords are off or whether its just the area stuffing everything up.

The in-app compass had us on this side and then that side and then up here and then no this way. Hopefully next time we'll have more time to search the bridge because I don't think the GPS is going to be of much use to us here.

Other than that, the area is beautiful and we're really glad you brought us here.

Hopefully next time we'll see it as even more beautiful through the eyes of a Geocacher that just found his prize.

Thanks anyways.

After many failed attempts at this cache, another go was in order. After a PAF some subtle clues were given and with this new information a trip back out to GZ followed by a quick find. Thanks for the cache. I'm glad this nemesis is crossed off the list.

Found this one last month. Was a hard find with the recent bridge works. TNLNSL.

25-May-11
we tryed this one twice found it 2nd time after 20 min of dodging cars very tricky TFTC

22-Apr-11
We spent a good 20 minutes searching but came up with nothing. Disappointing as it was an interesting spot!

11-Jul-10
Finding this cache was a bit of an effort - the car navigator directed us down a road that was blocked by a huge open cut mine so finding a way around it lead us on quite a round trip! We eventually found the right way and found the bridge. We parked at one end and walked onto the bridge and we soon found the cache. TNLNSL TFTC

Yaaay, finally had a chance to grab this little sucker. After reading the logs we had a good idea of what we were looking for. Bridge work is still going on.

Thanks Dazz for another of your caches in a great location. Signed log and replaced carefully.

Another stop, on route to the lake. Very nice hide, as I nearly left it, but something just caught my eye, and felt around with the hand to retrieve it.

Cache check - All in place & OK. Please note that the bridge is undergoing maintenance on the Eastern approach and first span.

01-Nov-07
Went to check on this as had report of container damage. As luck would have it this doesn't seem to be the issue it might have been, just don't lose the "attachment aid" and it will go back where it hides just fine. Smile

11-Oct-07
Found this one easily. Knew exactly what we were looking for and there were only so many places it could be.

08-Oct-07

Met with Konie this week, and he couldn't find it even with my extra clues so I went to check it - missing!

Some recent works have been undertaken near the GZ so maybe it has been souvenired or otherwise removed. Will replace soon. Smile

12-Jun-07
Returned cache to location with a new bag as flood threat has now passed at this location.

08-Jun-07
Rescued this cache, although it should be above the normal floodline the water was getting too close for comfort so this is temporarily disableed, will be maintained whilst away.

08-Apr-07
Found this one first, although I'd already crossed off quite a few of the waypoints for Singleton Date Hunt. Had a little trouble finding the hide, but then went back to the car to realise MrsBSF had told me the clue for a different cache!!!!

Found instantly once I had the right one. Thanks guys. Outer bag is shagged and could do with a replacement, but the cache itself is in good order.
