Hanging out with geo-buddies after climbing Wilsons Peak and this old cache was found. It's a shame it's been archived. Thanks for placing. Cheers

I couldn't find anything under the boardwalk. But, as I was walking away, I looked into the guardrail and spotted a berocca tube covered in cobwebs. It had a clean log inside. I was a bit surprised to find it 30m from where it should be but I assume this is the container and someone replaced the log? Thanks for placing this cache THENANKS

Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

GeoCrater

I am sure I've been to this lookout before and didn't even try to find the cache because I had no phone signal. Well I managed to momentarily get a bar today! But actually, this is one that is quite findable even without a signal. Just think like a geocacher Smile TFTC Smile

In some ways this was one of the more interesting legs of a trip.

A mate recommended this as a much nicer way to get back to town than going voa Toowoomba, and so it proved to be.
We saw our first wild Koala and our first wild snake, albeit a dead one, which is a bit odd as we have done a lot of out back travel over the years.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

Geocaching from Boonah to Killarney and back with Roostaman and RhoBoCacher.

Stopped here on the way up, but didn't search for it till we were on the way back. RhoBoCacher made the quick find while Roostaman and I tried distracting the Muggle tourists at the lookout from wondering what RhoBoCacher was doing!

Log signed and replaced. Found at on 6th July 2017. TFTC, THENANKS.

**# 17255** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip. Wink
Another perfect winter day for a drive around with RoddyC and RhoBoCacher.
We were mainly looking for Water Crossing caches, but also found a few others.
Just a few muggles around and a good quick find here. Wink
The parking WP hid the cache on the map, so we had to stop on the way back.
Thanks for the cache THENANKS,

Spending a few days in the local area and decided to pick up a few caches whilst out and about with geo friends. This had us all down and dirty in the light rain that was falling. Thanks THENANKS for the good sneaky hide & TFTC Smile

12-May-17
You certainly do have to lie down and reach under. The misty conditions meant the lookout was very quiet today but very busy at the café nearby where we went for a hot chocolate after the find. TFTC.

25-Apr-17
TFTC! What a sneaky little hide. Been here many a times and never knew about this one. Very well hidden. Can be muggle central, but not at 8am on ANZAC Day morning. A few cyclists about.

Co-ordinates are spot on. Look down / through and reach under and you will seek. Need long arms.

I climbed Mt Edwards this morning at Lake Moogerah. I then decided to visit a friend in Killarney so drove up the head road. It is a glorious drive. One of my favs. The cafe was closed and it was all but deserted up here unlike over the Easter Weekend when it was peak hour. Cache found a little damp but ok. TFTC

Having scaled Wilson's peak earlier this morning I was rounding up a few smileys on the scenic route to my camp site for the night.

The view form here is fantastic. Cool I took a few photos while a couple of muggles wandered back to their car.

Once the coast was clear I went cache hunting. It was easily found, but it was full of water. Sad

The sun was out in full force, so I took at back to the look out and let it dry. The log book was slightly damp but still ok. It dried out nicely with the solar power. Wink

I put the log in a new baggie and returned the cache to its hiding spot.

A favourite point for bringing me here. [^]

Got here before the hordes arrived. We saw them coming down the road and raced to put the cache back without being spotted. Fabulous location. Much enamoured by the whole area. We had a wonderful weekend here.

10-Jan-16
We are finally able to spend some time to catch up on logging our cache finds from over the last few months. We have fond memories of the day on which this cache was placed as it was our first 'geo-trek' after having signed up to geocaching Razz We remember having a terrific day with a great bunch of geocachers, but we hade gone our separate ways when this cache was placed. We certainly have some great memories both of the walk and the people whose company we enjoyed that day.

Well today, Mr Just a Trifle was again out on a geo-trek with ruzzelz who was also part of that original Sept Geo Trek, and they were joined by stairman1, goldielover and Miss Maddy. After stopping for a coffee, the group headed off to ground zero and found the cache with little difficulty. With everyone's names added to the log book, they returned to the cars to continue on their way.

Thank you THENANKS for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Cool

10-Jan-16
A group convened at Moogerah to keep ruzzelz company on the weekend and we set off in convoy to do a couple of walks and some drivebys. This was the first stop of the (early) morning. I was feeling sluggish after a wretched night of trying to sleep down on the farm in a tent... Who knew the countryside would be so rowdy in the wee hours of the morning?

So, an easy find here and on we rolled Smile Old cache in remarkably good condition.

TFTC THENANKS!

After a wonderful New Year long weekend staying at Adjinbilly Cabins on the Condamine River Rd, we came up here for a drive on our way home. Not quite the view today. Chilly and in the clouds. The cache was pretty wet, tipped out the water and did the best we could. TFTC

A great location for a cache. Signed log and replaced as found.

09-Aug-15
This morning we stopped in here but there were dozens of muggles here admiring the view too so we didn't bother looking for it.
This arvo on our way home the place was deserted so we pulled in. Coords were spot on which made for a quick find. The cache held a bit of water but the log book was well protected in the zip lock bag. We wiped the cache dry and replaced as found.
Great spot. Thanks for the cache.

10-Jul-15
Cool location! Found the container without any issues!

09-Jun-15
Sounds like it should have been easy, reading the logs later. Our GPS told us we should be looking in a place downhill from the lookout, and we were not prepared for slipping and sliding downhill, so gave it up.

It's just stunning up here - this is where we got married. Special one for us.

A sad story here. We found the cache after some people left and it was saturated! we took it to the car and revived it by drying it out and adding absorb sachet to the ziplock bag. we also replaced all the stash as it was rusty and smelly. it is all good now and will hopefully hold up.

07-Apr-15
Tried for this a few years ago and was obviously unsuccessful. This time Mr M had no trouble 'spotting' it. Log is very wet and will need attention. TFTC

I have finally solved this one. I sent the kid in to look for it.

04-Nov-14
If somebody would be kind enough to enlighten me on the location of this cache it would be appreciated because I have got nothing. There just isn't a whole lot of places it could be. I looked in the railings, I looked under the boardwalk, I looked under the seat, I looked in the little caps, I looked on the other side of the road. I wasn't leaving until this was solved. A muggle turns up. By now I am cranky and pacing. She asks of my welfare. I think she was thinking I was going to jump, LOL .

06-Oct-14
Great views

27-Sep-14
On our way to Queen Mary Falls campground, we stopped and enjoyed the views. My kids did some swaps. TFTC!

Thanks so much for bringing us here. I would never have stopped without a cache on this road. The view is fantastic and the café nearby is awesome, also (though expensive). This is a great stop.

TFTC THENANKS!

05-Jul-14
Decided to have lunch at nearby cafe after finding cache. Spectacular views. Thanks for bringing us to this spot. Cache was actually a bit wet but log book was nice and dry. Think the listed trackable has gone missing since there hasn't been a find for a while. TFTC

31-May-14
It was raining and the views weren't there today but luckily the cache was. Yes as many before have reported the cache had a big hole in the side and the top was split. The cache had lots of water inside. As we were camping for the weekend, we had some containers with us and luckily we found a nice one big enough take the contents. So everything is good with this one now. We did some swaps and then carried on our way. TFTC.

25-Apr-14
A few muggles around, but we were in luck as they only had eyes for each other. *sigh* young love.

27-Jan-14
Quick find in the rain and fog. Had been here the day before when there was a view but didn't realise at the time that the cache I knew was somewhere up this road, was in fact under our feet. Therefore visit number 2. Unfortunately we didn't have a replacement container with us TFTC

#86!
Out with international relatives today on a drive to see some of what Australia has to offer -we started by going off-the-beaten-track up the Condamine Gorge (very impressive) and completed it with some spectacular views here! Now off to Queen Mary Falls!
Really good swaps in this one, much to geo-kids delight! Left some lego and signed log.

We had a replacement container with us but it was too small to fit all the swaps in. maybe the next person could bring a 1L sistema container with them as this one has a hole in it (although still functional and completely dry for now!)
Thanks for the cache - we really enjoyed this one!

After an enormous weekend completing an overnight hike around a circuit on Main Range (Emu Creek, Lincoln Bomber, Mt Superbus, Mt Roberts, Lizard Point, Mt Steamer, Stern, Mast, back to Emu Creek), we needed to travel around to Teviot Gap to collect the nasty high terrain multi's, do a little cache maintenance and perhaps leave a container or two.

We thought the road closed to Boonah sign related to the road works at Teviot Gap. So, the trip up this valley didn't help us get to our destination (which was so close, but, oh so far), but bought us to this great vantage spot and cache.

Having just been to the Lincoln bomber wreck, the information sign near GZ was interesting. Container needs a little but of maintenance.

Thanks for the cache, The Nanks.

CrookedPete and I had a big week-end hiking up to the Lincoln Bomber wreck, Mt Superbus, Mt Roberts, Lizard Point (camped overnight here) then onto Mt Steamer, The Stern (amazing views Big Grin ) and finally down past the Mast and back to Emu Creek. Big Grin

We had to head this way to find the finals for a couple of multi's we passed along the way so why not stop for another cache. Big Grin

Great views over to were we had passed by over the last couple of days. Big Grin And a little more information about the plane crash.

A quick find. Unfortunately the container has a hole in and will need replacing. Sad Hopefully the person passing by will have a similar sized container as we did not. Sad

Thanks for the visit and the cache. Big Grin

PS. The road is closed between here and the next intersection at Head road. So NO access to/from Boonah. You have to go all the way around along White Swamp Road.

This little icon on my map has been one I've been keen to find for some time now. How happy I was when Fangsoki, Net88 and my car trip was due to head past it. The drive to here was fantastic. Albeit a cold and cloudy day, the forest this track winds it's way through quite intrigued me, and having a glance at the elevation plot as we went, rather high up in the world.

Fangsoki parked us nearby and looking out the window did not excite. It was cold and the wind was blowing horizontal rain at us. Oh my. At least there were no muggles.

We dashed out and I made the hop to grab the cache, nice and dry here. The names were quickly added and as the cloud was obscuring the view, it was back to the warm car. A great spot, I hope I'll be back someday. TFTC THENANKS Smile

Found this cache whilst out on a rainy and miserable day for a bit of caching with Captain Terror and Fangsoki. We parked the car a little walk away from GZ and braced ourselves for the horizontal rain we were about to face. We all but ran to GZ and Captain Terror dived to the right level and found the cache. The logbook was signed, cache replaced and the three of us sprinted back to the car and out of the rain. Thanks for the cache THENANKS
