Went and had a look, all seems ok. I think one of the recent finders has fixed it up.
Found in the dark on the way home. Had to get the torch out - lucky my phone has a torch! Will have to come back in daylight so I can appreciate the area.
The springs were warmish but it is winter. The cache is in good order.hunted, tagged and released by activehunters. Tftc
Tftc couldn't sign log as I didn't have a pan with me looks like a muggle was the last to find it.
Wow good one! Nice little stopover. We had not seen warm springs like this in Tassie before, and wouldn't have known about this one if it wasn't for this. Cheers.
A quick find in an area that like many others we didn't know existed. A lovely little spot, although no swimming for use, but we did notice the fish enjoying it! TFTC
Excellent! Found with my son and travelling companion!
Took Woody Bear to find him a new home. Our first swap item, very exciting! ^_^

A nice quick stop where I happened upon another couple of cachers who were enjoying the pool. An easy find and quick chat then away! Thanks CMC
We have been wanting to visit the spring for some time and finally made it. The cache was an added bonus. The pool is very overgrown with algae and looks quite primeval - well worth a visit.

Sorry for the late log, we have just returned from a 1000km bike ride around Tasmania, with only occasional internet so some caches are being logged late.
However, we'd never have found this park with geocaching, and it was a lovely lunch spot. Thanks.

A nice picnic spot, but wouldn't want to take a dip. Easy find, cache in good condition.
Sorry, forgot to raise a needs maintenance flag on this one last week. Although it didn't actually need maintenance after our "maintenance" visit (other than a decent log), we think due to recent history CO may need to check & if necessary rethink the hide following discovery by anti-caching muggles.
This was almost a DNF as nothing could be spotted at GZ, even when prone on the ground. Then some strangely familiar objects were spotted in the pool . That looks like a cache container down there... oh, look the lid's floating over here! Plus an entire roll of toilet paper in the middle of the pond (but we didn't think that belonged). Clearly with a second trashing in 9 mths someone has taken particular offence to this harmeless object. We fished out what we could (container, a couple of swaps & laminated cachenote), wiped the mud off & dried things out and popped in a bit of paper in a ziplock bag as a temporary log. Although we replaced to match the hint we suspect it won't last there very long. Perhaps it should be moved somewhere else in the park or changed to a micro.
Found while visiting Tassie to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Last night we stayed in Launceston, then headed to the north west. We found this cache on the way. Such a hidden gem. If it was hot rather than warm, I might have been tempted!TNLNSL TFTC
Nice little area -would never have found ti without the cache! Nice to watch the water bubble away too! Cache in good condition! TNLN TFTC!
This one was, initially, a little perplexing as the GPS was putting GZ smack in the middle of an impenetrable blackberry patch. However, after Geohubby realised he had entered the wrong co-ords and made the necessary correction we came up trumps. TFTC and an excuse to visit the springs.
Arrived here on dusk so with the aid of our phones we went and retrieved cache. Never been here before but hubby new about them and im now really keen to come back here with our daughter. Cache all in good order
Found during our NW coast caching weekend. What a great spot in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
A great spot to stop on our way to cradle mountain. Watched the springs bubbling in the silt and a not so healthy eel. Not particularly inviting for a swim. Thanks for bringing us here.
Amazing to stand and watch the warm water bubble up through the sand - wish I had my swimmers (and some more will power) with me! Cache in great condition and left some tokens from the Sydney Monorail (now closed down - collectors items!) - TFTC and a great place to visit. Who would have known this was here other than for geocaching!!
Very nice cache. Thanks for bringing us to the spring and TFTC. Took Trackable left a badge. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
Very nice spot indeed, pity the water was not clear at this stage. Cache was found in good condition, no wonder as it was replaced recently. We took GC and left a TB. TFTC Captain Morgan's Crew
We have previously visited and logged this cache and was pleased to revisit today. Dropped in a Swedish geocoin that has been in my handbag for well over a year now. Many apologies to the owner. Thankyou Captain Morgan's Crew for the nice new log book and cache.
Back in business. We got someone to drop off a cache Saturday 8 March and put it in the same spot. Hopefully this one will stay about for a while longer or else we might have to move it within the area.
Apparently the water is looking rather yuk, a shame as that is the best bit of the location.
Cheers

We can't check this till the end of March due to being away for work. If missing we'll drop in a new cache and relist the cache. Sorry to all who've looked with no luck.
Heazle1 had a few sets of eyes looking there is nothing to be found needs checking
Looked everywhere! Couldn't find it! Saw a birds nest and babies at gz. Didn't want to disturb. Maybe cache was there! ;(
Went to this one a while ago, about to re-visit and realised I'd never logged it. This one gets my first favourites point simply because of the incredible location. I was a little concerned that the logbook indicates that local teens are regularly compromising this cache. TFTC that introduced me to this place!
Found[Time to Find: 23 min] Spring was bubbling up nicely today. Walked down the steps to guage the temperature and nearly fell in. way too cold for a bath. thanks for bringing me here.
Wow another one of those spots you wouldn't visit unless there was a cache there. Found with Justjessie on day 10 of our Tasmanian caching tour,
Found on a drive around the area. The pool had too much algea for a swim today .

Found it about a month ago only just remembered.......... Nice hide container intact
what a great spot to stop but the warm springs were well not very inviting, o well it would have been a great spot once, gps was all over the place. found by geowife. T.F.T.C
Did not fancy a dip today. GPSr jumped around, cloudy day and a few trees did not help, got there in the end. Cache and contents are in good condition. TFTC
Years of living in Tassy and I've never even heard of this place. That's geocaching for you. Great stuff! Left a geonickel, took a ring. There were two logbooks in one bag, slightly damp and the bag was badly holed. I separated the logbooks, each in their own bag with some silica gel desiccant. SL, TFTC!
Found this on our day trip to Tasmazia. Cache and contents were all dry and in good condition. The warm springs however, have seen better days!
On a trip from Launceston to Ulverstone with Tassieboy. We picked up 14 caches. (He has found most of them before).
Nice bridge . Nice area.

Interesting spot though wouldn't be waded into the spring in the condition it is now. A local told us that the stream had been blocked off causing the algael bloom and other locals were pumping water from the stream to their own properties.
awesome cache spot, desperately wanted to investigate the bubbling waters but dense weeds and algae made it impossible. is it maintained over summer? Cant wait to go back.
i noticed reading the logbook that a few muggles are returning to this cache repetitively to 'see whats in the treasure chest' as they put it. Does it need to be moved slightly??

Many thanks to Captain Morgan's Crew,
This was our 11 of 33 for todays cache hunt, Find number 1447 at 12:25:00 PM.
We are here in Tassy, hunting down your caches. This is our first time here and the weather here is fantastic, just a tad chilly. Please keep an eye out for us and come and say hi, we won't bite.
A nice quiet little area, pity you can't use the springs.
Was just about to give up and we were heading back to the bridge when I just happened to look down and hey presto, there was the cache.

Wow - what a fantastic place. So glad that this cache was here to make us stop.
So much fun watching the changing patterns in the mud at the bottom of the perfectly clear water.

On our way to cradle mountain, maddo87 and I stopped for a quick find. Great spot, very interesting to watch the water bubble in the springs
Arrived at GZ and had the whole place muggle free!
The springs were too cold to put the feet in so it was a quick find and back on the road.
Thanks for the nice detour to this area & TFTC

Not so quiet here today as lawns were being mowed. Had to wait til muggles had ridden his mower to other side of park before getting down on hands and knees. TFTC.
Thanks. Been wanting to visit here for a while. Shame it was raining at the time. Thank goodness the little ones were with me. GPS unreliable, but their eyes keen!!!!
A fantastic little spot that we would never have known about if not for geocaching. TNLN. TFTC.
Mrs T loved this one, she had tried to visit the springs before when we lived in Railton but they were closed at that time for some reason. She was delighted to be able to get there today.

A quick stop on our way to Sheffield. The action in the ponds is a bit like the Bubbler on the Oodnadatta Track. That is a good swimming spot too.
Mrs Lemon & I found this one as we drove by on our way to Strahan. Lovely spot, took marble, left ball. TFTC.
What a great little spot. Loved all the creatures that have been created alongside thr road as you com/leave town.
Waterhole didn't look tempting enough for us to jump in for a swim but it was definitely worth stopping for a look.

#1237 A detour off the road, but worth it. Enjoyed a stroll to GZ. Good hide. TB swap. SL. TFTC.
Had wnated to do this one for a long time and finally got there today. Ground very soggy under foot today. Left Sol-de-Lune's Tassie Apple TB. TFTC.
Detoured into here on our way home from a day out, and weren't disappointed. Soon had a find, and then had a look around and took some photos. Took Blackboard Eraser TB. Thanks Captain Morgan's Crew for encouraging us to visit this little place.
Great day for a picnic and a surprise b'day picnic for wife. kids loved the "underwater castles" which had formed as a rsult of the warm springs sediments. dropped off a travel bug and a bead. took a bouncy ball. TFTC
Hi Capt'n and Crew
What an adventure this turned out to be. The TomTom had me park in the wrong place so I investigated for tacks through a paddock and was noticed by some one in the house next to it. Realising I had done the wrong thing, I quickly retreated and found the road on which I needed to travel.
Quickly found ground zero with many a memory flashing back through my mind.
I used to go to Weegena a lot on fishing and hunting expeditions with friends that farmed the area. So my first thank you is for the memory reminders of times good and from the past.
Now back to the cache:
Ground to the cache was very wet but the traverse was well worth it. All the times I had been past these springs, never had I visited, but it was worth the ffort today.
After I had arrived at GZ the owner of the house mentioned above arrived to check out what I was doing. He said nothing but walked around and realised I had been trying to get to GZ and left satisfied that no harm had been done.
I eventually extracted the cache, signed the log and replaced it at 1028hrs.
What a tremendous area. Loved it!!
Thanks for taking me here, the cache and allowing me to re-visit the Kimberley area.
Cheers; OldSaint.

Looks like a great spot to revisit once summer roles around, just a bit muddy at the moment. Really enjoyed visiting the area, thanks for the cache.
Wow, a lovely spot! Despite looking like it is boiling, water not that warm, not enough to entice me in. TFTC
Never knew there were springs here, many thanks for placing the cache. Also enjoyed this cache for another reason. It was great to watch 5 grown men not only strip down and get in but listening to them say to each other, "you go", "no you go first", really was quite amusing. When none of them were game enough to test the waters, they sent in Beau. Poor Beau I think he might have a complex after today, trying to figure out if he is a guinea pig or in fact a dog. TFTC
What an interesting spot that I never knew existed. No platypus about today, but enjoyed the stopover regardless. Thankyou for organising the cache. TNLNSL. Cheers!
Yet another interesting place that we never realised was there. The warm spring is fascinating. The cache was a quick find. We took a small rubber ball and left a yellow slug. TFTC
Easy find and I haven't seen a spring like that since I lived in Yetholme NSW and ours weren't warm
Took a dinosaur and left a magnetic fish. Seemed appropriate
