I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

I think this one needs looking at as major works in the area and lots of bridge works
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Easy find once you know where to look. Coordinates were within a few metres. No need to jump. Happy hunting
Gibberish and I searched for quite some time for this one. We haven't invested in a gps yet so only go off the app. both phones location kept jumping around at first sending us in circles and over the sides of the bridge (which we read in the activity you don't need to do). The reference to "the crossing" had me looking for x's the ones on the side of the bridge and the ones painted on the bridge but we now think it might be referring to another cache location. we almost gave up a few times but finally we had it. we were looking in the right type of hidy spots just not far enough along.

We drove across the bridge and parked in the side street. There were only a few places a cache could hide here, so it was just a matter of checking them. I checked the spot closest to where our GPSs indicated and made the find.
The lid of the container is missing, only the base and log remain.
Thanks

We parked around the corner and walked back to the bridge. When we got to the location we realised this was going to be something similar to some other caches we had found before. Toriaz started to check where the coordinates wanted us, and I started checking just a little way down in case the coordinates were a bit off. But they weren't. Toriaz found the cache right where it was said to be. A nice easy find. Thanks

We had no firm plans for the day until this morning.... then saw clear skies for the first time in what seemed an eternity, so headed off to grab some caches. We took the scenic road to Singleton, via Allynbrook and Gresford. Much nicer than the expressway.... Our haul was seven caches and one trig, not bad considering the low cache density out here!
I wasn't what to expect here, but became clear when we shot past GZ at 10m or so doing 90kmph. We parked and walked the 300m back to GZ, where Samuel made a quick find. Excellent coords. Container is sans-lid, but log is quit dry thanks to its bomb shelter cover. TFTC SUBYDAZZ

Found easily enough on a trip up from VIC, I'm glad they left the old bridge here. Thanks for the find
Found at 1012 After a nice walk across the old bridge I found this one quickly. The lid has gone missing but the log and container were OK. TFTC.
Had a look around but couldn't find it when it started raining. Maybe we will come back one day.
Out and about finding a few caches in Singleton.
A quick find here today.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
TFTG This took some time but finally got there once we found the hidden hole. Please note easily accessible
We found something? A ziplock bag with a small playing card and a coin inside hanging off a rail precariously. Not sure this counts and I feel like whatever was once magnetic needs attending too as there is nothing magnetic about this cache anymore. We wrapped it in the green tape and shoved it inside a little opening in the bridge very nearby where we found it so it doesn't blow away.

We had travelled up from Sydney, spending a week or so in Tamworth & Nundle for the April school holidays, and collecting caches along the way. Today we are heading back home to Sydney, after having an overnight stay at the Singleton Country Acres Caravan Park, but decided to park the car & camper trailer in the back streets of Singleton and take a walk around the centre of town to collect a few caches. This was the 5th find of the day, 98th find of the holiday.
We were now on our way out of town but took a slight detour for this one. Parked the car & camper trailer in Glendon Road, and then walked across the old bridge to GZ. Searched for a while but it was Geomum who finally spotted the cache at "the crossing". Signed and replaced as found. TFTC SUBYDAZZ.

Thanks for the cache. New log needed and needs a lid for the container. Great old bridge with thousands of rivets.
Back in MBK to round up a few strays and some newies. Grabbed this one on the way home.
A quick park and grab today. thanks subydazz

After chasing a first to find out to singleton this was the next closest cache (in the direction I was facing) so came here. I parked on the high side of the bridge and walked back to the cache. It was in the second hidey hole I looked in. I then walked back to the car. I drove back to the other side of the bridge and parked near WP1 for Singleton Date Hunt and the walked all the way back to this cache to get the required information. So I got to walk its entire length, twice. Then I headed home.
Thanks for getting me onto this bridge I have been past a few times and for the sneaky cache!

Took a second visit but I knew it had to be in one of the hidey holes. Persistence wins out. TFTC
This one took far longer than expected but gave us an idea for the crossing which we previously failed!
Good cache, people must think maybe they are looking for a place to jump ahhh
Spent 10 trying to find. A bit tricky with lots of cars and muggle walking past. Will try again.
It is good to break a journey with a nice scenic stroll so thanks for placing a cache here. Extra thanks for the wheelchair accessibility.
Always lovely to have a wheelchair accessible cache - but OH the height for someone with vertigo! Anything for a cache I suppose - thanks for this one.
Ended up travelling down an old dirt road towards the edge of the water before we realised it was actually up top haha. Tftc.
TFTC TNLN. The cache had no paper to sign; looks like muggles might have trashed it - case is broken. There was a small shell inside. Great location and after some deduction I finally found it.
No paper log found in the cache. Did not have a replacement sorry. Please remedy. Great hide though. TFTC
Looked for about 5 min, but the cold wind and the need to get home stopped me continuing the search. I'll save it for next time
TFTC this one had us stumped, found it after ten minutes or so. Kids onto it again. Left a shell.
After prodding and poking in all the usual spots, I gave up. Another DNF for me today
Today I journeyed from Singleton to Bathurst, stopping at a few caches along the way when it wasn't pouring down with rain. This was my first for the day. It took a few minutes to locate it but finally it was found.
My thanks to SUBYDAZZ for the cache.
