Couldn’t find this one after checking all spots I could think. Beautiful area hopefully come back one day and find this one. Had to use garbage bag on hand as make shift glove to search all the spots.
One of those frustrating finds. Your search, search, search, search again and you search in the places you already searched and then it suddenly appears. Thanks for the hide.
Logbook is in dire need of attention.

Out for a weekend around Taggerty with Dalerious doing a bit of caching, a lot of admiring of scenery and even more trying to stay dry with the constant rain.
What an amazing area. Would love to have been here when it wasn’t pelton down with rain though.
Dalerious made the find whilst we provided coverage and encouragement ‘go on, you’ll be right, just do it, there’re only cobwebs’.
Will have to come back and explore the area in better weather.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Found on a very moist day with ILookedThere.
All three of us looking here and there but none game to "look" where we should.
I got out the gloves and I got out a cache. [^] Not in the first place we tried, but I fondled my way there as my freinds helped by holding the brolly with the rain pelton down.

Finishing up our camping trip and went to find the remainder of the nearby non tree caches. Lots of cobwebs but we found it. TFTC
Camped at Mendel's, not so busy, rode the Pushey up to find Cache. Thanks to some posts I just imagined the places I would least like to stick my hand an Bingo. Thanks
Camping down at the rubicon campgrounds, we had the tents up in record time so still had plenty of daylight left. We headed up the road to get these caches, we figured this one was in this object, and it took us a while but day1976 finally found it. I didn't want to stick my hands in places I couldn't see because there were lots of spider webs.
Having made the trip up to Rubicon, Ilukaperi and I set up camp at Tin Hut camp, but then headed straight out to find some of the caches in the area. This was first. There were some people camped nearby, but we were just out of sight of them (I think). We searched and searched, occasionally broadening our search to other objects, but always coming back to the obvious. We became more and more daring as we put our hands into nooks and crannies that we weren't game to when we started. Eventually I placed my hand and felt something move. A mint tin, with a dry log inside. TFTC Rallywrxwagon!
After tackling the goat track we came back down the easy way and grabbed this one on our way back to the car. It was great to be on flat ground!! Lol. A nice quick find. Tftc
Kenare was the clever one here!! Cache was found pretty quick and we hit the road again. Tftc
Go on by Tony and John doing a quick five in the area. I've stood near this cache several times without knowing it was here. Great area for exploring.

Without giving away too much, all I can say is that I’m glad the ground was dry! And . . . *"Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Say no more"* (to quote Eric Idle from Monty Python)!

Yet another find for Wetjala, he's hot to trot today for finding caches. Interesting place too.

Out for a day of caching and sightseeing with Wetjala and Mrs Biggles in an area away from the bushfires. After travelling along the Donna Buang Road, the Acheron Way, stopping for lunch in Buxton and checking out the Cathedral Ranges we decided to head across to Rubicon. This was the nineteenth of many caches for the day. Once at GZ, it did take a while, but persistence paid off for Wetjala and he made another find for the day. TFTC.
We could call this a park and grab ... after 6.5kms walk (and DNF) earlier this morning. Really pretty part of the world, TFTC
**# 20060** Found on the Vic leg of our 2017 escape trip.
A warm cloudy Spring day for a drive around Eildon again.
Hardly any muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.
Took a bit of searching for this one.
Thanks for the cache Clever Monkey,

While at the Mega event with my friends Keef and the Bunadoorians (Belinda and Don), this was one of the caches we found. I never tire of coming to this area. tftc.
Somewhere I've always wanted to visit and found some caches to boot. Had to wait for some photographers to move away from the wheel, before I had a good search for the cache. Found after a bit of a search.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Attending a mega event with Crustyvarmit and Keef and decided to do a couple of caches. TFTC.
Found with the geoboyfriend on our trek to the falls. persistence paid off! Tftc.
A new place to explore. New things to learn. That's what we love about geocaching.
Thanks to the CO for maintaining.

Detail later. Up this way to do some fishing for the next month. Taking in the Goulburn, Kiewa, Mitta and Omeo Valleys. Focus is mainly on fishing, but any cache is likely to be nabbed along the way.
We are unable to log details when on the move so have used "Log Later" as a filler till we return.
Thanks for your patience and the cache. Clever Monkey.
Usually up for a good challenge, though I am building an aversion to machinery and old cannons LOL. Found in the end.

A trip up to Rubicon today to find a few caches. Ended up with 5 in total. Will definitely be back for more.
Had a great day exploring the area and seeing all the history. Magnificent forests, beautiful clean rivers, amazing waterfalls and so much more. Thank you for putting caches here to make me explore this area further. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day

A country getaway drive was needed and this area was recommended by a fellow cacher at an event yesterday.
Not to disappoint, it was the perfect peaceful place to get away from it all, and recharge the batteries.
Even had a bit of a dip to cool down.
Thank you so much for placing this cache, and bringing us here today, Beanslayr.

Another found with sksjd on a quick camping weekend away ! Tftc great spot for a cache enjoyed learning about the area a fav point from me ! While camping nearby we met a local that used to live in the area when he was a young lad ! Amazing to think of this area as a small community
Woooooo hooooo found it and didn't die of spider bite very cool place to hide it sweet structure
Glad I'm not an arachnophob! Lol .... First ones to find it in 2016 - has been 9 long months - poor lonely cache
TFTC! I went past this spot the day before and thought "I wonder if there is a Geocache hiddene here" and as it turns out, there was! Great spot, but I was cautious of spiders![Time to Find: 15 min]
#194. No service here but luckily bluewren88 had it saved to her offline list! It was also lucky doamono isn't afraid of spiders. Tftc!
Tricky little hide! Scary fishing around with the webs! Great spot, love the scenery. With myshell22 and bluewren88. TFTC
Out caching with doamono and myshell22. Had a lot of fun poking around for this one. Used my pen to clear some spider webs before doamono managed to get up his nerve to put his hand in some sketchy places. Enjoyed the lovely river nearby. A great area. TFTC
I must do something about the Arachnaphobia or pack some decent gloves. Lots of European Wasps near the GZ today as well! Interesting spot. TFTC

Lots of evidence of the history in this area. I love big machines and am fascinated to see them working and to see how they operate. Not difficult to find the little tin box. Thanks

Out for a drive with manzie and my muggle parents today with the plan being to find this cache before heading up the road to Rubicon Falls. I could have done this one when I was here finding the Ruby Falls cache, but somehow I missed its existence. I even stopped here to check out the power station, doh!
On arrival at GZ my phone had no reception and my GPSr was pretty bouncy. I had, however, saved the cache on my phone before heading out, anticipating a lack of reception at GZ, and once loaded it pointed me in the opposite direction to my GPSr! Hmm, that's not right! I walked up the hill a bit and waited till the devices agreed on the direction at least. Ok, with that sorted, and knowing what type of container I was looking for, I concentrated on two possible locations, with one being highly likely and the other significantly less likely. Mum went off to climb the apple tree nearby (maybe she should do some tree caches??) while me, manzie, and my stepfather searched GZ. After a short period manzie came up trumps and the log was signed, much to the relief of my stepfather who was really just there for the potential for a bit of 4WDing! TFTC!

Today we explored Rubican and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Through the cobwebs we searched the hidey holes and came up trumps with the cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Easy grab with geokids on a hot day. Interesting spot and I was surprised to see that the power station is still very much in operation. A garden glove can help with the retrieve in case of creepy crawlers.

Hey Clever Monkey,
Unfortunately someone has taken the container and has left the log lying in the grass.. i have retrieved the log to keep it from getting damaged, i can put it in a new container or leave the old log somewhere for you if you wish.. the log is not wet,
Cheers

this one brought back memories from my childhood days being in this area.. lots of fun. tftc
After a DNF here 1 year ago, I was back today to try again and it was certainly a lot easier this time - the cache was almost in full view which made for an easy find - not sure if it supposed to so exposed, may need a check. Thanks to Clever Monkey for showing me here, certainly an interesting area.
Finally after almost five years, I came back for another look and low and behold it was so much easier this time round. Camping nearby on the Rubicon river with the Heany Park Scouts, we headed out for a drive to see the sites and gather some fire wood. As we approached the power station there were some 4x4s parked at GZ making it difficult to search. We decided to continue on and return later. After loading the ute full of firewood, visiting Rubicon Falls and the other power stations along the Rubicon road, we returned just before lunch and with the help of a few scouts we soon had the cache well in hand. TNLNSL. TFTC. KemS.
Whilst camping nearby, came up to look at the power station and then collect the cache. Great spot, went up further and looked at the siphon trestle bridge which I recommend. TFTC rallywrxwagon
late log, finally catching up! Anyway, was in the area with lagavullin3 for the annual Akademos rally so made the small diversion from the rally route to hunt this one. Found we had to walk the last 100m or so then we had a really good look in every hidey hole all around GZ and couldn't find a thing. Drats. Will keep an eye on this one and see if caching blindness got me again.

The weather during the working week wasn't great and maybe due to the grey skies I was super keen to hit the trail/road for some caching. The event in Alexandra "Leaving on a Jet Plane", by Nufrat, was just the perfect excuse to make the hike out to these distance lands and regions that I hadn't hit so far. In summary the 14 hour run result in 21 finds with a mixture of high and low D/T ratings and by the late afternoon the clouds had cleared which made for some impressive views of Lake Elidon. The night had clear skies and no wind which made for some great night caching too. This epic run started at 6am and I crawled back into HQ around 10:30pm and was asleep by 10:35pm.[xx(] Another epic run completed which was just awesome. Today was on the trail with caching wing man and buddy Ahomburg.
Pick this one up on the way to Nufrat's event in Alexandra today. A nice quick find with the find made by Ahomburg. It was now time to head onto the event. TFTC Rallywrxwagon and also thanks to C@H for replacing.

Find # 2859
During the week, a plan was put in place to attend the Nufrat "Leaving on a Jet Plane" event in Alexandra, so My caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave and I decided to make a full day of it. I picked up Dave at 6AM and we headed first to Marysville to pick up a few there first.
We continued our way towards the event, and actually bumped into BernieH after we had started the nearby Superman Multi. After a quick chat, we continued on. What an interesting spot, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. While Dave was doing some calculations for the multi, I stopped and after a short search, had this one in my hot little hands.
Thanks to Rallywrxwagon for bringing me here and for the replacement by C@H for the cache. TNLN

A day out and about with andrewflash2 for caching and fishing. Stopped on the way to Eildon to get this one, and see a little bit of Victorian history.
We came just in the right time. After finding the cache, we have had a brief tour of the power station.
If the boss hadn't been in in that time, it even had been a bigger on. But it was very interesting and great to see the station from the inside.

A big day of caching, it started last night at about 10pm with Stemicmitsar and SirJ-Oz, we found about 24 and I arrived home at 6.30am. Once back home and after 90mins sleep I was rudely awaken by some FTFs which were too close to ignore.. Now after another 45mins sleep I picked up Delicate for a trip up north to the Strathbogies.. We were due there for tea, however there was still ample time to smash out another 12 or soo enroute.. Thanks Nanna c for the cache and the stretch of the legs... Find # 3192
Found this whilst on the hunt for a mulit, however the heat and distance and car of choice all played against us today.. this trad was an easy find, and we enjoyed the opportunity to explore the local area on foot..

With the recent thrill of the chase still in our legs we had the opportunity to discover this beautiful piece of engineering.
The Pelton wheel was one of those things that an engineering student B1 was lucky enough to discover at school and understand the efficiency of this devise long before the trips were made to this part of the world. There are several examples of this technology in the area and a touchy, feely experience was sought before we pursued the nearby reward.
Thanks you Rallywrxwagon for B2 was also impressed with the visit to the area and the mechanical beauty.
THe wheel house must have been in full capacity as the flow down the river was also impressive.
The cache is in great condition although appearing a little lonely.

Good One!
After a long drive and a thorough search - we even build some stuff to peak into every corner - we were 100% sure that the cache wasn't there. Since covert offered Rallywrxwagon to replace this one, that was exactly what we did.
Interesting place and thanks for bringing us out here

Found this one out on a unloved hunt with C@H and Philipp. Both the lads had plenty of days for their unloved's but I am still a bit (or should I say, compared to these two, a lot!!!) behind so this was a great opportunity to be able to tag along. We hunted everywhere and even got out the torches, mirrors and cameras to give GZ a thorough going over. I found the new one however! TFTC.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
With a string of DNF's and a now 4 month old maintenance request this one needs to be disabled until the owner can check it.
have searched for this one on two different occasions, both times with other geo friends. have not found , maybe the owner should check it out please.
Went to find this one but couldn't maybe should be checked to see if it still there
Wandered up from Boys Camp where I was camping with friends.
Spent some time looking for the cache, with no luck.
Would be good if you could check this.
