This is one of my early hides, and since then, I have wondered about the wisdom of caches in playgrounds.
This is a good opportunity to let this one go.

Okay, what is SNP planning to do with the horses heads now that they are gone
Not only is the cache gone, but so is the 4-way see-saw.
A new spot needs to be found and perhaps Flinders Park Park Squared can be born[?]

Joan was with me for the day. Luckily for us, the muggles were leaving, so we found it nice and easy. No problems!
Thanks Nomad Penguin and Stealth Ninja Pengin for the cache.

Called past late at night.
Still there, although in a different spot to where it was when we found it many months ago.

Called by today to check on the cache but, with the football on and kids crawling all over the playground, there was no hope.
Last time there was a DNF there was also reports of a magnet sans cache, but I checked, and the cache was there.
I am not saying the cache *is* there, but it could be. I will try to check again soon, hopefully at a time when the football is not on.
If you do find a magnet that is not attached to a cache, please remove it!
Cheers .

Thought we'd have a go at this one as we were near by, but alas poor yorrick.. we only found a magnet... we are assuming it has gone AWOL.
Another park cache done at the best time just before midnight.
Found in the company of Adrian Mc and Bat.
Thanks Penguins.

Found without any problem on a morning that was fine but promised more heat. Thanks to the Penguins.
Even though Everlasting has found it, I thought I would check on the cache. Still there minus one magnet that must have gone East .
Happy hunting.
Happy hunting.
Found the cache at 3pm. Nice park area.... SL. Thanks Nomad Penguin and Stealth Ninja Penguin for organising the cache and hunt.
Based on a couple of reports, this cache is disabled until I can be sure it is still there .
Found during 24hr cac-hunting run, Accompanied with Varuna and Mrs Snapper!!!, Everlasting as our Driver, Found 120 caches out of 137 including 17 DNFs and the missing caches. Thanks for organizing the cache and hunt.
24hr cache-hunt run by snapper!!! and varuna. At the night we searched and didn't find the cache in the limited time. It was possibly removed by the muggles? Thanks for the challenge and the spot.
Found the cache while taking the daughter learner driving at night. Have visited once or twice without joy, but tonight was the night! TFTC

When we arrived I, off I went in the wrong direction for a short time, but once my brain kicked into gear we quickly arrived at GZ.
There was a cricket match going on at GZ but they were more interested in their match than a father and daughter enjoying themselves.

Find number 1225. Found while on a mad 24 hour dash with Mr MadMyers and Everlasting doing the driving. This cache was one of our 189 today. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find. Cheers The Nanks
Flinders park park? Well the things that maps can say and show. We put into our mapping the local shopping centre on our first day in Adelaide - off we went and we ended up at China town???? How??? Yes I did put in the correct name of the shopping centre - so how did we end up in China Town? Who knows? Thanks for the cache.
It is called Flinders Park Park in the online street directory - weird. You woul;d think that if the suburb was called Flinders Park, you would think of another name.
Anyway, an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

Had a good run with kids playgrounds this week. No kids. Perhaps word had got around that a couple of shady looking blokes from Melbourne have been seen loitering around kids playgrounds. Well we loitered just long enough to find, sign and head down the line.
Thanks again
Thanks again
A nice park around here. Took lots of photos and explored a bit. The cache took a while to find but we eventually had it in our hands. TNLN. Cheers.
Kiwi Cache Raid: The 5 minute timer pulled us away from our search in this pleasant park,,,,,,,,,
Gave this area a thorough search during our 24 hour record attempt. No sign of the cache.
Found quickly this time. Not like the last visit. Maybe there wasn't many places left to look! Cheers Penguins.
I parked in the Flinders Park Park carpark. Hmm... how many cars could Flinders Park Park park, if Flinders Park Park could park cars?
Anyway, I've driven past here a couple of times before, but it always seemed to be full of muggles. Thankfully it was deserted tonight, so I can now cross this one off the list. A great hiding place, but in the end, where else could it be?
Thanks Penguins!

An easy find on an unintentional drive through the area. Cache wasnt in the first place I looked, but was in the first place I shoved my hand!
Thanks Penguins!
Thanks Penguins!
Lunching muggles weren't using the area we needed to go, so DISK invaded it.
Very hard to keep still and sign the log.

Still there ... but missing the incy wincy pen so you'll need to bring your own until I can get one there
I'm sure this would be easier with a bit of daylight! Will try again some day. Quite familiar ground as Mr matmob lived just across the road from this park when he was much younger!
Damm was this hard to get to, but alas I finally got it with Nathan in toe....I drove past 4 times over a couple of days but Muggle City So decided to go at 11:30 PM on a Sunday Night when all good muggles should be in bed...But No [:o] there were four sitting around the park table dringing a bottle of something they probably should not have been.. So of the find a couple of other caches close by then returned just after midnight....FINALLY Muggle Free [8d] Nathan was quick out of the blocks and straight over to it yay TFTC TNLNSL [|)][|)][|)]
Passing Syd TB through, as he visited the sports institute a javelin throw away.
Another hard cache for the lone male cacher on a Saturday morning. Luckily no one about and the cache in the 2nd place I looked. Thanks penguins.
Stopped here to have lunch in the middle of our day of caching. FerretBoy has umpired football here before (in similar weather, probably - cold!), but nothing happening on a Monday.

On the day Adelaides Women Mathematicians were turned into page three girls, what better way to celibrate than a penguin cache. Just around the corner from my new work I found it pretty easy, just had to work out which colour to look in. Cheers. MODU.
This should have been an easy find on a Saturday
Except for the footy match, the kids roaming around and the teenagers who just decided that this was the place to sit around
So it was that I returned to the scene of the park park fiasco to claim the prize prize today in the complete absence of muggles of any age

Seventieth of 128 finds on "The Big Adelaide Assault" in company with acts2youthgroup and HawMorFords. I typically don't like playground caches, having been accused of being a pædophile at a Sydney cache once. Lone males are often not welcome at these places. However, there were no mini-muggles about, so the Three Musketeers were safe from accusations this time. We found this one at 1123. GZ seemed obvious, but the cache was not where we initially assumed it would be. I made no exchange. Thanks to Nomad Penguin and Stealth Ninja Penguin for the cache. Cheers, dak.

Seventy of one hundred and twenty-eight cache finds on the "The Big Adelaide Assault" the cache was found at 11:23 in company with dak's Emu Mob and HawMorFords. After a few DNF’s we were on a hat Rick. The playground was empty and we had a nice quick find.
Thanks Penguin and Stealth Ninja Penguin for the cache.

Ah yes, we seem to be back on track after a few DNFs recently... nice to pick up a quick little find like this one - thankfully not a soul around.
Thanks to Nomad Penguin and Stealth Ninja Penguin for the cache.

2nd for the day.
A quick dash around adelaide after work, to pickup a few outstanding caches before I have to return to Melbourne.
No mini muggles around today, as it was raining on and off.
Quite an easy find. Love the "boat".

Found by Mary and David at 1450. Thankfully, no small muggles about to make a cacher's life difficult. A nice quick find on such a hot and humid day. Great fun too. Our thanks to Nomad Penguin and Stealth Ninja Penguin.
Found at 0930. Clever little hiding place. Quite a number of galahs around for breakfast.

Along with Team Ermalesh we searched and searched. Until for the second time this evening Mr Ermi leaves me still looking while he fills out the log .
18th of 19 FFTD, and 9th of 9 with Pack of Sullies. Following a break at Glenelg for the afternoon sliding down some water slides decided to do some more post tea cache's before heading home. Searched and Searched everywhere twice, possibly three times before Mr Ermi had retrieved, tryed signing (No pen on me!) while Mrs Sullie continued searching. . TNLNSL. TFTC.
Had a great time retrieving this cache, except when the kids ran off and left us adults by ourselves (looked very silly! A few muggles aboout training, and some playing too. TNLN TFTC
We parked near the park park and turned on our parkers to show other vehicles we had parked at the park park. after a short but intensive search the cache was found and logged,

This was the 23rd of 29 successful finds for caches in Adelaide that Shadow! and I (from the ACT) tackled over 4 days whilst visiting my family. What a great excuse to go caching in a new environment!
Found this one at 2:50pm with my geomuggle parents. We played on the equipment like a bunch of.. well.. drunks really. I am sure I will upload incriminating photos shortly!

When I arrived, some muggles were in the playground, so I sat down and had a rest at the nearby park bench. Eventually they left and I had a look around, but with no luck
This makes it 8 found / 2 not found on today's bike ride so far...
My suspicions is that the cache should have been somewhere where four kids could easily have fun, but no such luck locating it...

Gone, gone - nah, I don't think so my litle penguin! I found it tonight with no issues apart from having to act like one of my brat boys. TFTC
Thanks Wackys. I'm glad I delayed checking it last night - that's the easiest maintenance I've done yet
Went here today as the second cache to try and find.. couldnt find it even after helpful hints from a friend. Thanx anyways ill try again later
Okay. Looks like this one is gone again. Will get down and check it soon, but it looks like a new location might be in order.
When approaching this one i thought "ahah" i know where it will be... GPS was very inaccurate today (20m) too, but i honestly thought i wouldn't need the gpsr.
Sadly it wasn't to be... i looked all over the obvious "X marks the spot" to no avail. I even stuck my fingers in places i thought might be inhabited by little 8 legged creatures...
Maybe next time... or if the owner is in the area, can they have a quick look to verify or discount my sanity.

Arrived late in the day but the muggles were too busy playing. They actually asked if MiniZyth2 wanted to play whilst sitting on where we thought it was. We decided to return after dark and soon had the cache. The third DNF from previous visits we had cleaned up for the evening.
Walked right up and found it immediately, after remembering a discussion I had with TeamAstro about subtractive and additive primary colours. TNLNSL.
Third time lucky, dang those magnets really are strong!
excellent hide, spent hours with the kids waiting for muggles an rain to pass, but once again i had my coffee to help wait it out.
took nothing.

Cache has been replaced. Hopefully the stronger magnets will help. You will now need to bring your own writing stick too. Also, if people could put it so the top can't accidentally come off, that would be great.
Cheers cheers.

Sounds like this one is gone folks. I'll go down tomorrow and check/replace it. If it wanders again ...
Along side the experience of Tarmar, Dogdigidy (with too many doggy biscuits in him) and LFTS this one was going to be found easily - Even Mr Blonde was a little lost. Found by LFTS after an appeal for bad light. Cheers
Pleasantly surprised to find GZ completely empty. Had the cache quickly in hand. TNLNSL TFTC Cheers TBG.
After not being able to plant our cache because of muggles, decided to try this local cache. Floss thought she knew where it was but wasn't game to reach for it. She was right though - the geokids are getting good at this! SL TFTC
