As a previous finder, I can confirm this cache has gone. There's recent clearing work by the council and it may have disappeared then. With no response to the earlier NM and the CO having not been active in the game for over a decade, it's probably time to put this one to bed and stop feeding cacher blood to the mozzies.

Slid down under the Rip Bridge to find this cache still AOK and in position. The lid is still on however I seem to remember the lid had more darker coloured camo? However all is good.

**Copy & paste bit**: For the second year in a row I walked all the way around the Brisbane Waters (cutting across at the Rip Bridge), with a walk up to Wyoming after to stretch it out to a marathon+ walk. Took me 13 hours, 11 min, with 73,427 steps. My feet are still quite sore. Of course I popped by a few caches, to at least move trackable/s through...

#1404 met up with teamMerlin, Splitty Miller JJCC & alnic39 in Windsor for a trip up to the Woy Woy area to get some interesting D/T fillers and another old school cache

Number 2 of 9 for me we stopped in a little spot off the road and walked to what looked like the hint but couldn't find the cache. A local then asked if we needed some help said we were playing a game then consulted the GPSr why are we looking here it is still 30 metres to go so continued down further soon had tge cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Squall'n

I was up this way in January and while searching for a cache up near Kariong, i came across a couple of blokes council workers. I told them what I was doing and one had heard about this particular cache. He told me exactly where it was, but I never made it here on that day. This memory only occurred to me after we had found, signed and left the area. Strange.

26-Oct-17
On a caching run today with phlphotos, Splitty Miller JJCC and alnic39 around the Gosford area. After meeting up in Windsor earlier in the morning, we grabbed some special equipment and headed north to find some caches that filled missing D/T fillers, missing JASMER months as well as an Old School cache.

This was our second GC find and third cache of the day. After driving to the end of the road and turning around we found a place to park then walked down to a spot we thought was correct. A friendly muggle asked if we were ok and after letting him know we were playing a game all was good. We then spotted another feature further down the road and were able to retrieve the cache quickly on approach. Both the cache container and log are in good condition.

I ventured out to Woy Woy with the intention of checking out a section of the Great North Walk, but there were so many wonderful distractions in the local are that I never got there. Instead there were a great deal of wonderful caches to discover! I found this one after wandering along the waters edge at Ettalong Beach. The cache was completely submerged in a pool of water, but amazing the inside was completely dry, a testament to the watertight integrity of the container. TFTC Squall'n

#3820 (7 of 13 today)

OK, thanks to the weather (mostly) I only have a measly 24 finds in 16 days this month. Weather still dodgy looking, but with the Geowife otherwise engaged, thought I'd take a punt and go for a whole bunch of caches today. Unfortunately, there isn't anywhere close I can do that!

So decided to head up the F3 (or whatever they've called it now) and plunder the area around Woy Woy.
First time caching here, so I was pleased when having just cleared the 90kph wet zone on the freeway the rain stopped. And didn't return!

So made a lot of finds, most admittedly were Park & Grabs, but a few still had some interesting issues. And strangely grabbed a few caches not found for almost six months - no idea why it's been so long.

Definitely returning for more around here sooner rather than later.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked up the road on the only parking spot I could see and walked back down the hill.
As I approached GZ I could see something suss. It was the container. The hidey hole had filled with water and the container was floating - sort of - and so easily visible from the right angle.

Made the grab to find the cache had remained watertight and the log (which was signed) was nice and dry.
Not a lot I could do except replace it as was - should remain OK.

12.30pm of streak day #45

After dropping a borrowed trailer back to a friend in Woy Woy Bay after a very loong cuppa, I decided to stop here on the way back home over the rip bridge for the daily cache. I've never been able to understand why there's always a decent rip under this bridge, no matter what the tide! D/T combo on this probably a little over in my estimations ..but I'll take it. Cache in good condish but log is just a bunch of folded bits of small notepad so a bit fiddly to manage. Replaced the bag as the pencil had put a hole in it. Cheers, Squall'n.

(Cut & Paste bit: One thing I’ve wanted to do for a while is to walk a marathon. On Sunday I did it Smile – I’d planned my own route from the Lions Park in Gosford down to Woy Woy, across the Rip Bridge, up through Kincumber, through Gosford again and up to the Wyoming Shops. Took 13 hours, slower than I expected but then I found 2 new caches, a new trig point, and visited 5 previously found ones. My feet were SO sore afterwards, but overall I loved the experience!)

When I came here before (and found the cache) I had tried to scramble to from here to the bridge, but some boys wandered past so I came down. So for my big walk today I intentionally planned the same scramble here so I could get onto the right side of the Rip Bridge. Cache is still in its hiding spot. Logging through some visiting trackables. Cheers!

Being as I was up here on the Central Coast from Sydney for the day, collecting a few caches amongst other things, I'd done my homework and had checked google maps for possible parking spots, read some logs and decoded the hint.
As I drove under the bridge I spotted all the items necessary so was hopeful, but right opposite GZ there were 2 surveyors. So then I wasn't so hopeful, but as I walked towards them, one of them began to swing from the tree. Good news, anyone who was swinging in the trees while at work would be OK with me hunting for something.
Didn't need to hunt though because when I got close to them they said, its.......... Lucky I'd spied what I needed first and the challenge wasn't completely spoilt.

Streak day #184 - After a long week of work it is really nice to be able to come up to the central coast every few weeks for a game of drop in hockey. There is a great bunch of regulars that varies from week to week. The last couple of times we have enjoyed a drink afterwards at the new sports bar Sidelines. I indulge in the loaded potato skins too. Smile To work off my feed it was time to grab some caches. I'm loving the extra statistics that project GC provides so my targets tonight were all month hidden dates that I needed to tick of my list. When I checked their map there were so many choices up here, so I selected a few that would take me on only a slight detour from where I needed to go to head home.

This was my second cache of the night. After grabbing the cache in Saratoga I made my way through lots of little suburbs that I had never seen before to get to Blackwall where this and my next target were located. I like how geocaching takes you places you wouldn't normally go. The streets were a little confusing when I was trying to work out how to get to this cache by car, but I made it without getting too lost. I parked my car a little way up the street then wandered back towards GZ. With the help of the hint I made a quick find. I was surprised to find the cache half full of water, but it wasn't really the worse for wear and I was still able to sign the log. I put it back as I found it then headed back towards my car. Muggles might have been an issue if it hadn't been so late, but I had no troubles. TFTC.

Find #5212

Day 13 of my epic northern adventure and it was coming to an end and we were slowly winding our way home. With the MEGA event in Stanthorpe over for another year, Jamin Appleford and I had some select caches to find on the way including some very old caches from 2000 and 2001.

After camping somewhat illegally unbeknownst to us in a non camping area nearby, we woke to the pleasant sound of the nearby waves. After discovering we were not supposed to camp where we did, I was keen to get moving and pack up camp. A fairly simple find here once we worked out how to access it... Big Grin.

Thanks to Squall'n for the cache. TNLN
