We navigated numerous water crossings and following a river down the road at one stage, before we finally decided to be adults and say we don't need to find every cache. In the dry this would be no problem for us but we're traveling with a slide on camper and with water gushing between our wheels we cant tell which line to take... we made it to 1.8km of the cache, contemplated going for a jog but the rain started again and we called it quits. Loved the adventure, we'd give it a fp if we could. If we ever come back in the dry this cache will be at the top of our to do list. Tftc
An epic 4WD trip to this cache, due to the condition of the track and the amount of ground water over the track. We had a great time, thanks for enticing us to venture down these tracks..
Having spent 3 days in Augusta, it was time to move on. Nannup was our destination, and of course we had to see how we went at finding a few out-of-the-way caches while we were at it
After finding Rapid Result we headed back along Blackwood Rd to Sues Rd. From there we simply crossed the bitumen and set off eastwards towards this one. Again it was mostly ‘new car paint’ friendly for most of the way, until we turned up a track that seemed to lead us a bit closer to GZ . It was more scratchy than I would prefer, but no damage was done in the end [^]
We parked up at another camping spot only 60 or so meters from GZ, where I went and made the find while Janine and the kids headed down to the river for a swim. The cache was found quickly and our name was added to the logbook before rehiding and joining the rest of the family down at the water. What a lovely spot you have brought us to! We all loved it .. and we had it all to ourselves [^]

Looking at the map and realised I missed logging this cache. Have dated find back to actual date
Heading away for a night with ChickenHawk07 and grabbing a couple of random caches in our travels. On our way down to catch up with other cachers at the FOTT event.
The second day and the trip home, I diverted with barnzy and Cravo10 to grab this one.
12 months of Iunlove Madd it a good target.
Parked up and bushed bashed the 350metres or so and arrived at GZ with wet pants and a find.
Thanks heaps to SirSigmoidColon for placing and maintaining Punch & Judy. I found your cache today. I added my name to the log and replaced where I found it.

A year of unloved.
Found as part of an three day trip through the South West whilst camping down at the Warner Glen/Chapman’s Pool camp site.
We headed off mid morning on the Friday and cached our way through Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River before setting up camp in Warner glen with Allied oz and Granett, collected around 15 finds for the day.
Day 2 saw us get up early and meetup with allied oz, granett, the jokers and Leg5 to complete the latest installments of the rails to trails series. The track was quite muddy, which resulted in mud all over faces, shirts and up our backs from the tyres flicking it. A good morning and we rode back to the cars in the pouring rain just before it cleared up. We collected a few others for the day in Jewel Cave, Hamelin Bay and Cosy Corner.
Our last find for the day was the Alternative Reality Cache along the rails to trails which was a great one to knock off and hopefully groundspeak make them another cache type down the track.
We finished up back at Camp and setup for the evening for the “BYO marshmallows III” event with PP2, allied, the jokers, granett, Kyzabra and ringtailposs.
We finished up on the Sunday grabbing one cache on the way home, Punch and Judy, which was a 12km detour off Sues Road, and a good walk to collect the 12months of unloved.
A great weekend away and 40 odd finds for the weekend which is always a plus.
Thanks to all the local COs and Granett/FOTT for the event.

a nice autumn day to check out some remote caches enjoyed the drive in and the short bush walk cache in excellent condition took some photos of the river thanks for bringing us here TFTC TNLN
Great day for a bush walk! Lots of potential hiding spots along the way.
Found with the help of Squidfitch.

With ~Tango~ at the wheel, me as the navigator and Ralph as the chief cache sniffer-outer, it didn't take us long to find this one. Went down and checked out the river afterwards. Ralph thoroughly approved of that too. Thanks Virjohn
Great camp site and terrific bit of river. Some campers across the river were enjoying their long weekend campout. We stayed for a while to enjoy the surrounds but other caches called and we had to move on. Thanks again Virjohn
I'm not sure whether there's normally a car park at the river in this location, but as I drove down the hill the track just sort of ran out (into the swollen river). I feared the cache might be under water, but headed off through the bush anyway. Arrived at the GZ, which was high and dry, and found the cache without difficulty - all in good condition (I couldn't believe the amount of trinkets that were in there).
Came off Blackwood Rd onto Judy Rd and found a likely camp spot west of the cache. Did a 300m scrub-bash in to the cache location before returning to the car. Drove around to the north and discovered we could have saved ourselves the scrub bashing had we driven into the second camp spot earlier. As usual, we took the hard way in. What a nice spot to camp. It was a hot day and the water looked so enticing I had to go in. The only problem was I forgot I was still wearing my glasses when I duck-dived to check how deep the pool was and came up without them. Dived down to retrieved them but couldn't see them. Only thing I could do was to leave a come back the following day with a set of goggles and someone who could see better than me. After ten minutes of unsuccessful searching, I began to think my glasses were long gone. However "iateyourhorse" is a pretty good diver and his 20/20 vision saved me a trip to the optometrist.
We made a detour to find this cache before heading home. It was quite a way into the bush and well hidden from prying eyes. We enjoyed our walk in, and out again of an area that I don't think gets a lot of traffic, could easily get lost in there! TFTC

Thanks for the hide. Tried coming in from Denny rd but could only get 300mt to the cache and couldn't get across the river. So we went out to Sues rd and then up Blackwood rd to Judy ah the name makes sense now. Great camp site here and swimming hole but shush don't tell anyone...
Boy that one was a challenge. We camped on the other side of the river and I had to swim across and then walk through some dense bush. I thought it can-t be... but it was right where my GPS said. Don-t know if there are easier ways to get to it than from the north. But it-s really overgrown now. And on the way back I picked up a pretty nice and big leech- yummy. So this one was really earned.
After 4 DNF's I thought I'd try my luck with this one on a very hot 40 degree day and I broke the drought...Yea!. Tried once before some time ago, but i was on the wrong side of the river. So this time I went from the right side. A hell of a bush bash if you follow the river bank. I suggest cross country from the obvious parking spot. It was such a good spot, I left the boomerang TB to continue its journey.
Nice easy drive to camp area near cache, possible to do with 2wd, if you dont mind charging through a couple of big puddles.
Despite the garmin etrex legend trying to take me along the road on the North side of the river, (luckily i had done my research beforehand), we got to cache area without drama, after dodging a few fallen trees over the road.
Found by Chloe (8yrs). Cache was chockers with goodies and in good condition. The kids squabbled over the spoils, lol. I grabbed the teddy TB to move to another cache, its been in here some time, lol. Left a 1952 Australian penny. (i was going to make a TB out of that, but i can get lots more, lol.)

Just called in and camped the night, thought we would put a TB out here to encourage others to view this great spot.
Camping nearby with friends and to my surprise...a cache very close to camp. This is a great area for a quiet camp and even a swim. Not much happening on the fishing side of things but an enjoyable time had by all. TFTH
We replaced the lost Cache with a new green ammo box filled to the brim with goodies!
Have also moved it to a less muggly spot and updated the above co ord's.
This is a lovely part of the River. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Seems to have been muggled and gone to the hole in the sky where caches/bugs and coins go.
Will replace later in 2010

Searched all around in a 30 metre radius and no sign of it.
There seemed to be a fire through here not that long ago.....

Haven't been to these spots for years. Expected to see campers but they were all on the other side of the river.TFTH TNLN
Second of four caches for the day, made lot easier by being on the correct side of the river.

Found after a lovely drive through the bush, as we noticed another fork off the main track we went down it after looking at the river, this was as well as we only ended up 20 metres from the cache instead of bush bashing up from the river. Took lures and left bone painting. TFTH
Whilst Camping at Alexanders Bridge near Augusta, we went for a day of 4x4ing and caching, Found with Anonymous Legion, What another lovely spot you've bought us to, Thanks.
Found this one, brilliant hide and nice walk to the cache. Another good place to visit, loved the 4WD down to the GZ.
T: Condom! That's going in the pool room. Savage Bliss!
L: Small Kid's Book.

Looks like a great little spot to camp for a couple of days.
We wish we had brought our fishing rods!
A fairly easy find after we took the right track (thanks to prev logs )
Took nothing, Left nothing.

Found after quite a walk through dense scrub. Only to discover there was a track only about 20m or so from the GZ. I thought we were on the right track (it had the correct name) but it seems it was not the right one as far as the GZ is concerned. My GPS had it by the right name.
Took a German Geo Coin and L Geocache Keyring tag. It was mine, so it is second hand but it was all I had to swap for the coin which wanted to move on and this cache was only visited about 6 times in 2007 due to it being well off the beaten track.

A great day for a drive for New Years Day to head for a favourite camping spot. Dropped Geocoin off.
Today together with Naud and Barrabup Sanctuary on a cache trip in SW-WA.
Nice for overnight camping also.
Nice for overnight camping also.
Found at 1725 on a chilly evening. Judy Road was littered with fallen debris some of which we had to remove to proceed along the track. Found cache in failing light (left the torch 400 odd mts away in car) on our dash back to car, fell over large log and scored super bruise on shin bone - moral - never go caching without flashlight!

My first cache found no worries was completely uncovered a exposed. Put a small amount of bark on top to camoflauge it a little better. TNLN TFTC
What a great Drive. Probably should have taken the 4x4 but the commodore got there ok.
Good spot fo a camp.

This was a bit easier find than the last although we initially selected incorrect track. Another FTF for Team Prado - WA 1968.
