Continuing my walk I located the park easily and the exact point where there was an obvious hiding place with a hole at the bottom but nothing in it. I checked all the others but no luck
Found the cache at 2pm. Gee!! excellent spot... No swap. SL. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
The GPSr gave me a GZ about 10m from the cache so did a fair bit of fruitless hunting before widening my search.

Found this one. So now Im batting 1 out of 3 for today. Could be worse I suppose. Thanks for the spot I didn't know about these hidden parks before. Took Carabiner and left a stapler.
We got tired of circling and ended up taking the longest entrance, going past the stormwater pit.
The GPSr was leading us to the street on the other side, but then it apologised and pointed back to the spot that MBL poked at the first time we passed it.
Nobody around (except someone kicking a ball against the other side of a fence), so a quick find, a quick log and away!
(The logbook's getting pretty full, so a new one will be needed within a few log's time.)
No swaps.

Our second Hakeaman cache for this morning, and we couldn't resist picking up the neat Geocoin.
This was a great hide, with a few puzzled looks from some builders as we walked through the park to the cache (due to geo-kid loudly giving distance and bearing updates).
Took: Geo coin

At last I found it on my second attempt. Like Silama, I didn't feel right about being here, but now I have been and I have done it I can feel better! I signed the log, took nothing but did leave "That pufferfish is too darn cute" Geocoin. This is one geocoin worth taking the trouble to find.
I also found my GPSr placing me anywhere from 8 metres to 15 metres away from the cache so have added my quickly grabbed coordinates. They may help those that follow.

Must have been too well camouflaged for me [:(!]
Even with the spoiler, I still couldn't find this sucker.

We were poking around for quite a time looking for this one. The guy seemed quite interested in the cache. Hope that it doesn't go missing.
Anyway, good hunt, it's a very hidden playground.

Another nice park! What's with these parks that are completely inaccessible from the road? Not even grassed/paved accessways! Again Tannen and I found this one today ... very small so took nothing, left nothing, just signed logbook. Thanks for the nice walk! Probably shouldn't have tried it at midday in the middle of summer though ...
Introduced one of the locals to geocaching as well - he popped his head over the fence as we were poking around and asked what we were doing ... apparently he had problems with people interfering with his dust management sprinklers. For anyone who goes after this cache, it's probably a good idea to avoid poking around too close to the fence - the cache isn't (as of the date of this log) there but his sprinklers are (and they're not that hard to accidentally step on if hidden by the leaf litter) so please be careful!
My GPS put the cache location about 8m west of the actual location though (I moved out from under the trees and took a measurement and still pointed to where I originally went) ... maybe I just picked a particularly bad time of day for GPS. I initially thought someone moved the cache (where I DID go was also a good hiding place) but I looked at the (spoiler) picture just now and that's pretty much where it was ...

Took the long way to this one, so I got to appreciate the entire park / drainage catchment.
I love these hidden parks, thanks to hakeaman for showing them to me.

Tree coverage affected the GPSr but it settled down to within the normal range. I didn't want to get the hands too dirty so I picked up some wood to use and exposed the cache.

Found this cache with Shenbot. GPS was a bit crazy but had no trouble finding it in the end.
a bit tricky but once we new what we were looking for it was alright. Co ords out a few metres too.
thanks for the hunt.
thanks for the hunt.
Had a go at this one this afternoon. Of course parked right near an entrance which I missed and walked right around to the other end of the park. This pretty much summed up my search. Got to the likely spot, had the GPSr jumping around the place. Searched under all the likely trees ... things are pretty scattered here without luck. Resorted to the photo, still no luck. Will watch this and if it is found will come back again.
Found this one quite easily although my GPS said it was not that close. I used to live in the area and liked all these little parks. Thanks for the cache. TNLN.
Found this on my second attempt. Took the coin and will deposit it elsewhere next week.
Another on I ment to do yesterday but here I am now
Took NAB Geocoin & left Niker Geocoin Thanks
Definately a cool hiding place

Decided to walk on over after doing another of these little park caches nearby. Of course I managed to choose the long way around before I came across one of the access points.
Much more secluded than the other two in the series which was welcomed since this one took me a little longer to find.
Dropped off: "The NAB" GC

Visited the cache to sort out the co-ordinates. My GPS this time gave the above co-ordiantes, although I did note that the GPS had an accuracy of 6 m (?). All I can suggest is that you read the logs below for additional comments.
I have uploaded a photo of the location, although I see most teams have found the cache without too much problem

This was the first of three in the area. We had a nice chat with a neighbour hanging out her washing- luckily with kids and canine we looked very unsuspicious ( I hope)

We missed the access paths the first time. Its quite well hidden.
We too found the co-ords were a little off. I took an averaged fix of: S31 54.731 E115 51.051.

FTF a nice and quick find. Try above coords if you cannot find at the given coords. Interested to see another hidden park. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache.
